DO NOT recommend for groups larger then 10. I called twice letting them know about a party of 16.... we get there and say they are getting our table. Our table was three booths. No one was together. It defeated the purpose of going out together. If they couldn't accommodate us they should have told me when I called. Was very disappointed... especially because it was our babies 1st birthday.

The hostess took me to a high step table. I don't have the ability to step that high. The hostess didn't understand I couldn't reach the table. I needed a lower seat. There were plenty of clean tables. Not many people. We kept circling around. I ended up in a loud dirty corner.

Dirty floor underneath the table.

Waited a long time before a server came around. Waited forever for my drink. Waited forever for everything. Thank goodness there was a device on the table so I could pay my bill online.

The bathroom was dirty. The floor from the kitchen looked oily and slippery.

I don't know what is going on with Texas Roadhouse. It's not the same as my first time eating here.

My husband and I went to dinner last night for our anniversary at three o clock we were immediately seated I ordered the prime rib, medium rare, my husband had the ribs the rolls, salad and potatoes were very good. The ribs were mediocre and not flavorful The big disappointment was the prime rib it was served well done with no aus jus sauce it was very dry and bland . I do believe it was left over from the day before and just microwaved My biggest mistake was not sending it back Also our waitress was not very attentive and there was only one other customer in restaurant Would consider a return if they improved.

Took my daughter here for her birthday. Waitress was lovely but had so many tables everything took a while. Our mains took over 35 minutes to arrive and when they did, they were all cold. My steak looked like it was under the heat lamp for a day. Was completely dried out. Veg cold. After a few bites I started to feel slightly off. We are now 2 hours on and everyone is feeling unwell with stomach cramps.
Wont be returning.

I LOVE a good steak, and considering Texas Roadhouse is a franchise I'm always pleasantly surprised by just how good my food tastes. My only critiques for this particular location are as follows:
1) unable to Day Afternoon it was an hour between placing our order and getting our order and all the sodas and beverages are rides at the same time

After we were seated we were given the buttered rolls but no silverware or plates. We ordered the Cactus Blossom and our waitress forgot all about it! We said something to her when she brought us our food and of course at that point we didn't want it anymore. The inside was freezing and the fans were going and it wasn't even that warm outside when we arrived. There was no reason to have air conditioning blaring away. Needless to say all of this did not make for a pleasant meal out.

Just had a terrible experience. We waited almost an hour and a half for our food. At the one hour point I went to host stand to inform them. At an hour and 15 minutes we were told they would tell the kitchen to rush it (aka, start it). Everyone around that was seated after us was already long gone and new people were getting their food. People seated after us even started receiving their food before we received our cactus blossom. The place was not busy, our waitress said there was no reason for it to take that long. We didn’t want to be the kind of people to walk out (as hard as it was) so we continued waiting. The manager was notified, and no one came to speak to us. When we finally received our food we noticed the food looked thrown together and not appetizing. Beyond frustrated and disappointed, we just asked for boxes right away. Christina apologized and told us that most of our bill was taken care of and we left. Very frustrated that the manager never cared to come speak to us. We now wasted what was left of our evening and are taking home food that we aren’t even sure we will be eating. Did the waitress not put in the order? Did it get lost? We can’t think of any other reason. We would have been more at ease knowing it was a mistake instead of thinking they just left our order sitting there over an hour without fulfilling it.

Service, let's just say was odd. She should not be training people.
After our appetizer and salad. She askes us about desert. I said desert before our meal? My 75 year old mom and my fiance reordered drinks. She then stated I cant give you these drinks untill you finish your other drink. So she said slam your drink.
We paid our bill with the table kiosk. We had a $20 dollar bill sitting on the table. She then asked If She could take the money off the table. We said we were not done yet, she said that's fine stay as long as you want. I don't trust the money being left on the table.
This person should not be training anyone.

The staff was friendly. The music was a bit too loud especially when the staff all broke out into some type of choreographed dance routine that I assume is repeated throughout the day.
The down side is that although the food was very good, we received our house salad at the same instant we received our steaks. That was very disappointing. Our waitress explained something about the salad person was training someone and a shortage of kitchen help.
If that was the case, management is at fault for not compensating for that, especially on a very busy Saturday afternoon.

I would five star this but every time I try to get a beer while I'm waiting for my table, it takes like 10 minutes to be served. I think they have the only bartender doing barbacking for the whole restaurant. Otherwise, it's fantastic.

Haley was one of the best waitresses I've had in a while. Even though it was her second day, she clearly has done it before. Kitchen staff couldn't read. Messed up order. One steak what's supposed to have onions and got nothing. Another steak was supposed to have onions as well and got onions and mushrooms. Not enough to send back but still annoying.

The owner replied to this thinking I actually gave a good review and obviously didn't even read my comments. So changing it so issues can be dealt with.

Yet another occurrence where steak meat was way undercooked. My Wife ordered sirloin tips to be cooked medium and she ended up getting "Rare".

Over the last 3 months we come about once a week and every time the steak is undercooked..

Manager wouldn't even come over to hear the complaint. Too busy socializing.

At some point the managers need to train cooks properly instead of ignoring.

I usually try to be understanding, but this was really disappointing. We arrived at 8:40 PM, and the restaurant was not busy at all. We placed our order and only received one appetizer. Our meals took so long that we eventually had to ask for them to-go. Meanwhile, another table that came in at least 15 minutes after us was served without delay. We didn’t leave until 9:50 PM nearly an hour and a half later without even eating there. Poor service and no explanation. Would not recommend.

Party ordered rib eyes prime rib and Dallas steak that was supposed to be melt in your mouth tender. It was not. I ordered medium which it was but very dry. Daughter ordered medium rare prime rib but it was medium and also dry
I wanted garlic mashed potatoes but they didn't have them and the mashed potatoes I got were dry and tasteless
Place was very crowded and so noisy we could not converse
Bill was $153.00. We will not be going back.

Couldn't even bother to do one thing and remove mushrooms from a dish for my very texture and taste-sensitive disabled younger brother. Absolutely ridiculous. He had a rough day, couldn't come with us, and all he wanted was his steak with onions but no mushrooms. He can't even eat anything that's been marinading with mushrooms too long since even the taste makes him flip out.

Quality of the steaks seems to be going downhill. The last meal there my filet had parts that were gristle s as d was overcooked. My guy’s steak was ordered med rare and came out purple through. Sent it back and was still very rare. He took it home and cooked it for lunch the next day. The same day, the veggies were cold and nearly raw. We used to love this place, but the last few visits we have had similar issues.

Our server was great, the food though not so much. We've never had issues at any Texas Roadhouse, as it is a staple with our family. This one though was definitely not our favorite. The rolls were so heavy and undercooked. The seasoned rice was sooooo seasoned that it was a dark brown, not the light brown we're used to. It was a sad night.

Dined here with three friends. All of them had almost finished their entire meal before my entree arrived. The ribs were dried out and burned and the mashed potatoes were delivered well in advance of rest of the entree and were cold by the time the ribs arrived. All were returned to the server and sent back to the kitchen with a promise from the server to re-deliver and to do so more quickly. In fact, I waited even a longer time than the first and again I was delivered dried out, burned ribs. The manager came over and mumbled what felt like an insincere apology after I again refused to accept the entree. By then, my companions had completely finished their meals. While the manager offered some kind of discount on the meal, I will never again return. Amazingly, dining at here was my recommendation. Quite a disappointment and embarrassment.

Came in an hour until close, sat across from a booth of employees rolling silverware, one looked like a manager and picked up a napkin off the floor and used it. The blatant phone usage on top of the clean rolled silverware is clearly unsanitary. This isn’t the worse part, one of the employees threw a steak knife over a half wall near other employees and customers, it landed about 10 feet away from us. This is outrageous, I work in the food service industry and this is completely unacceptable. Do better, usually have a great experience here but did not this time besides our server Jake being great.

We came in, party of (5) for a birthday. Service was terrible. Our waittress, Bri took forever to come back. Took a very long time to get our food and when it did come out the ribs were black and burnt. In fact two tables that came in after us got their food before us. In fact the four tables where we were sitting ate and were gone by the time we were done eating. There was a special $5 margaritas. I asked the waittress what flavor they came in and she said lime. I told her Id have one. She then asked me 1800 or something else( i dont know what it is) i told her i dont care and that i didnt even know what that meant. Then when we got the bill both margaritas were $8. We asked about it and she said she asked 1800 or whatever she said. We said we wanted the $5 margaritas. That was pretty crappy. The ribs were remade but came after we were done eating. We were there a couple of hours. It was ridiculous. We never got to adk for A1 because by the time she came back the one that wanted it was almost done with his steak because he was waiting for ribs to be remade. My son was waiting so long for water he was going to go to the bar and ask for it. This was the worst service and food we have ever had.

Upon being seated, we noticed that the plates, silverware, and napkins still had visible food residue—an immediate red flag. The salad came with just one crouton, and the steak was both undercooked and overwhelmingly tasted of charcoal. To top it off, we were overcharged twice on the bill.

Stopped in for takeout at the West Bend Texas Roadhouse on Sunday, June 25th — one of the worst experiences I’ve had there. Ordered a Steak Kabob with side salad, Tenderloin Salad, and bread. When the order came out 30 minutes later, items were missing (both salads and bread). After pointing this out, only part of the order was corrected — and after multiple requests, the bread never came. I had to bag the food myself while the Kabob sat getting cold. Spoke to the manager — her only response was “hopefully it’ll be better next time.” Sadly, it’s not unusual for this location to forget items on takeout orders, but this was the worst so far. Used to be a regular here — but after this, I’m reconsidering.

We generally love Texas Roadhouse but today. Our waitress, Christina was sharp but also busy at the bar. I requested creamy horseradish when I ordered. When food came, I asked again, and then a third time. Finally flagged down a server to request a manager. Manager w said they started making it 5 minutes ago...when it was requested over 30 minutes ago? Finally got it with my to go box because by then my steak was cold. Inexcusable. I googled, and this is not handmade, just blended with sour cream.

UPDATED: Ok, we just had to update this review. We again had the privilege of stopping in this Location. We had the honor of having Gabby Mae at the hostess counter and our server was Ellie. These Two showed Genuine Customer Service with Care/Kindness and a Friendliness. We so enjoyed and appreciate the Veteran benefits. The Food was EXCELLENT!! We were told the wait time was 20 - 30 minutes, was actually more than an hour. We had to ask the hostess again to get seated.
Once seated and order taken we waited another 50 - 55 minutes for the food to arrive. The main items we ordered were not prepared as ordered.

My favorite place to eat when traveling. Got a hotel across the street so I could eat there. Got in at 830pm it was like a rush to close up. Open until 10pm. Out of jack Daniel's. One drink left of crown. Makers Mark next. Ordered. Food came out 20 minutes later. No salads first or ever. Ribeye cooked perfectly. But no more than a half inch thick. Slow poor service. West bend location. Avoid this one.

By far the best service I've had at a restaurant! I treated my Mom lunch for Mothers Day, and she decided to come here. Even though it was lunchtime on Mothers Day, we were immediately sat. They also gave us popcorn from a local vendor and bread before we sat down.

Our waiter was amazing as he explained the specials and got our order in right away. Food came out shortly after and was delicious. After the waiter made sure everything was alright, later we had the manager ask as well how everything was going. Truly exceptional service! This place ran like a well-oiled machine with how everyone coming in was being sat right away and taken care of by someone shortly after.

Had a wonderful time with Mom, and the atmosphere made it that much better. Kudos to this location; will be coming back just cause of this experience 👏

In my opinion, not a good take-out place. Fries were under cooked, burger bun was not special, my baked potato was very good.
The in-house music was so loud, the paper menus was a joke, print was so small, when I said I need reading glasses she didn't offer to find a regular menu.
Maybe the sit down experience is better, but I won't do the take-out.

We added our name to the online wait list before we left the house at 5:45 on Sunday May 4th. 10 minute drive. 3 people. Waited for another hour at the restaurant, inside, by the to go area, within line of sight of the hostess. We understood that we'd have to wait longer because we specifically asked for a table not a booth. We checked back with the hostess at the hour mark, they said one of the tables was just leaving. After not getting a text notification that the table was ready for another 20 minutes, we asked again. They said they texted 17 minutes ago, and then gave the table away. No text was received. We tried to ask why, when we were sitting within view of the hostess and we'd specifically asked, would they do this. No response was offered. So we sat at the bar. The bar was very dirty with used dishes. It took the bartender a bit to get us drinks. My boyfriend finished his first drink before she even returned to ask about ordering. We ordered our onion, but she didn't take our food order. The onion was finished before we got our salads, and our salads were finished before we got our food. Had to ask multiple times for drink refills and extras like more cinnamon butter. Had to steal our own silverware from a table. We'd been there for over 2 hours when our salads finally came out. When we finally got our food, my friend's steak was barely warm (cooked Medium) and I didn't get any of my dipping sauces for my chicken fingers. Finally, we asked to speak to the manager. When she came out, she was washing bar dishes while "listening" to us, she couldn't even be bothered to give us her full attention or seem like she was concerned. No offer to discount the meal. No offer to correct any issues. Truly abysmal. We will not be returning.

Overall, we enjoyed our visit. Our waitress, Isabella, was a Rockstar! She gave us exceptional service!! The food was delicious as well. The music, at first, was only loud when a dance was going to be done. But someone was definitely messing with the volume as time went on. People are trying to talk at dinner; it's not an evening setting at a bar with a live band! No one likes the music that loud!! I think the manager needs to take control of the sound system.

Upon getting seated after a decent amount of time waiting to be seated ordered our drinks and it took around 25-30 minutes and asking a worker to finally get both drinks out to the table. After the drink situation we ordered our food and when the burger came out I asked for a medium rare burger it came out and it was practically still moo-ing on my plate definitely will not be returning to this location due to lack of service and lack of paying attention to detail

Sat in for lunch and ordered two porterhouse steaks. they gave my girlfriend a low grade dogfood cut. The steak had Grissom and thick fat on one side . I showed explained choice. “managers “ he did nothing.?! Go to Chicago and experience real restaurants.
Recommend drive past this still on the hill .

We had a fantastic experience at Texas Roadhouse in West Bend—almost perfect! Our server, Ellie, was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was also outstanding—cooked perfectly and full of flavor.

The one thing that kept this from being a five-star experience was the music volume during the line dancing. I appreciate the fun atmosphere, but it was obnoxiously loud—so loud that my ears are still ringing. We love a good dance moment, but we also love our eardrums. Unfortunately, the volume alone makes me hesitant to come back anytime soon.

If they turned it down just a notch, this place would be perfect!

Ordered my steak medium well. Came practically raw. Sent it back it was so burnt they covered it with onions and mushrooms. My table also ordered the chicken breast with onions and mushrooms. Let's start by saying NEVER reheat food in the microwave! And bring out the same food! You could clearly tell by the piece I cut off of the chicken and the sweet potato that I mashed up! And if you do decide to, PLEASE don't make the customer wait TWENTY minutes as if you remade it!!! STAFF MOVING FAST BUT NOT GETTING ANYTHING ACCOMPLISHED! The best part of the visit was the dance that the staff did. I left only having bread, a drink, and a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Frustrating to leave this review. I love Texas Roadhouse. This location in WB is the worst one around here. Used to come here every weekend, but between the 2 of us, every week, at least one of our orders had something missing or wrong. Before COVID we started going WAY out of our way down to the TR in Brookfield. We've never had a problem there. It's probably been 6 years since we've tried this location, went here last weekend. Food was excellent but the cheese-fries for both orders weren't done with the meal. We were both completely done eating when the server came by to check, mentioned the fries, waited another 5-10 minutes. When we got the fries they were good, but just grabbed a box, paid, and left. This is exactly what I remember this location being like. I mean if you say something they fix it, but seriously, just pick a different location.

Joined waitlist at 5:21pm for a table of 3. received an estimate as far as seating to be 6:11. We ran some errands and came back and checked in using their online portal, no problem. We sat in an over packed lobby until 6:35 before asking how much longer. At that point we were still 9 tables and at minimum 25 minutes from being seated. Need a better process for updating wait times, AND having more accurate wait times. We chose to leave, as we didn’t have faith that the 25 minutes we were told (which would have put us waiting an additional 50 over what we were initially quoted) was actually going to happen.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this experience was disappointing from start to finish. We waited forever to be seated, even though there were plenty of empty tables. Once we finally sat down, the service wasn't terribly slow, but it felt like we were forgotten about more than once. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best—my burger was undercooked, and the sides tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. The noise level was unbearable too, making it hard to have a conversation.

Meat was burnt tasted horrible we even sent a hamburger back and that was pitch black on both .couldn’t eat them and the steak was the same ordered mid rare and got well done with burnt or chard and the second one was done the same way. Shouldn’t have to eat burnt chard meat and can’t eat it and then pay for it. I had mini burgers and they were like hockey pucks and I’m not lying. You use to serve awesome food. New chef or something is diffently wrong. Hope it gets better soon?????

Frustrating Experience – Cold Food, Long Wait, and a Missing Item

I scheduled my order for 7:30 PM pickup, expecting fresh food. I arrived at 7:25 PM, texted the provided number, and got an auto-reply that my order wasn’t ready. No problem—I waited.

At 7:35 PM, I checked again—still not ready. At 7:40 PM, I texted once more and didn’t get an immediate response, so I decided to go inside. To my surprise, there was a long line for to-go orders. Why? Shouldn’t pickup orders be handed out as they are finished, not based on whoever stands in line first? A simple check-in system with seating would make way more sense.

At this point, I assumed my food still wasn’t ready—after all, the text updates told me so. Yet, I noticed multiple to-go bags just sitting there.(See Photo/video) At 8:05 PM, they finally handed me my order, which had clearly been sitting out for at least 20 minutes.

The worst part? As I sat in my car with my food, I messaged the number again and was STILL told my order wasn’t ready! (See photo of text conversation) It wasn’t until 8:12 PM—while I was already driving home—that I finally got the official notification that my food was ready.

Then, when I got home, I realized they forgot one of my salads!

$70 on cold food and a missing item. Completely unacceptable. I was really looking forward to this meal, but the disorganized pickup system, inaccurate notifications, and missing food made for an incredibly frustrating experience.Frustrating Experience – Cold Food, Long Wait, and a Missing Item

Food is alright for the money, but nothing seemed to be over the top fantastic. Waitress was friendly and efficient. It was pretty busy - we went on a Friday night so that was to be expected, but be prepared to wait 30 mins - hour. Only annoying thing was the music inside was cranked, kinda like you'd expect at a bar but not really a sit down spot.
