Ordered food to enjoy while watching a movie tonight. After thirty minutes I went to check to see if it was ready and they said come back in like ten minutes. I go back to the theater and after 15 more minutes still no buzz for my food. So I go back again to check for my food and find it sitting under warning lights. They said it had been there for ten minutes most likely and their buzzers don’t often work correctly. The pizza and fries were cold and my bacon bbq burger was missing the BBQ!! I’ll never again order food at this place. Horrible service and I Missed over 15 minutes of a stupidly expensive movie to get horrible food.

Restaruant was dirty. While they were almost empty, staff seemed flustered and bothered to have customers. Our server tried to be friendly, but again - she seemed hurried and flustered eventhough there were only a few tables.
Mozz sticks were good, marinara was cold and looked as if the portion had been sitting a while.
Pizza was burned. Only the edge... but the whole edge was burned all around. It took a while for the pizza to come out and it came with the appitizer... so timing was off.
this location used to be so very good. Clean, friendly staff and great food.
We won't go back. I didn't complain about the pizza, we just dealt with it, because we didn't want to deal with already flustered staff. We watched a server loose a burger on to the floor and it sat there for quite a while... It just seemed like complaining would have been more trouble than it was worth.
there are other places to grab a bite after a movie. We will just check them out next time and skip the convience of Zaffiros

Went to the movies and saw a pretty decent movie but we order a burger and wings and were told it would be a 45 min - hour wait, which wasn’t a problem. Ordered after our movie and had to wait 40 minutes past our designated pickup time and food was barely warm when we got it. Seemed to have no management or any idea how to do their jobs. Running everywhere and not talking to the people waiting in line. When you told them you were picking up they would walk back to the kitchen for 5 minutes and then return to say it's not ready with no update what so ever about time-frame. Been to the downtown location, and the food and service there is better.

Came here after the movie, it was Tuesday evening. The place was 50% full. Got a table right away, and our server got us drinks and took our order, gluten crust, cheese and sausage, and a chop salad The server was efficient, but not especially friendly.

The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. However the quality and preparation was not impressive. The crust of the pizza was undercooked, and tasted doughy. Sausage not evenly distributed. The salad vegetables tasted like they had been cut well in advance, and not fresh.

Plenty of other places to go after a movie. Not some place that we would come back to.

Food is ok, if you get it. Not once have I had my order ready when requested. Every time I pad the order more and more - 7:00 movie? I ordered at 5:30 online and requested food to be ready at 6:40. It’s now 6:56 and they told me 10 more minutes. And they are out of a number of items. Very convenient if the timing would work, but I think this’ll be the last time I get food here, and I certainly don’t recommend this - for theatre goers or just as a standalone restaurant.

I came here for dinner with my dad. I've actually been coming here for years, but I wanted to write a review for my recent experience.

So the food is awesome. We got cheese and garlic bread with a pepperoni and bacon pizza. All of it was stellar and arrived pretty quickly. I never had issues with the service or food. Our server was great and everything in our order was good and correct, though my dad would say that he wishes the old fashioned he had was stronger.

The restaurant was almost empty on a Friday night, which seemed really unusual especially for a restaurant tied to a movie theatre. I also noticed that there was an unusual wait for the check, like over 30 minutes of waiting. The waiter came by and apologized and explained that the POS system went down and asked if we had cash (which I fortunately had). After another wait, he came by to explain that he couldn't ring up the bill, accept payment or bring us a check due to the system being down so the manager had actually comped our entire meal.

I wanted to give Zaffiros a great review because I really do love this place. I've been going to this restaurant for years and it's still one of my absolute favorite places to get food. I've always enjoyed the pizza here, and the service has always been solid. I just hope more people come here and support this really great pizzeria.

Don’t waste your time here, there are better options nearby and outside of the theatre, and it makes me sad to say this because this place used to be a great place to go…..my wife and I would come here every time before a movie for pizza. The last 2 times the service has just been absolutely abysmal. We would always order the kitchen sink salad as soon as we were seated, as we enjoyed it as an appetizer. The last visit we did this and the salad was brought out the same time as our pizza, which had had ordered 10-15 min later. This visit the pizza came out first and our server said the salad would be out in another 5 min! We told them just to cancel it, and they said it was done so if we wanted it in a to go box we could do that. We said sure, and they then brought out a box full of what looked like a bag of lettuce from Aldi’s, it definitely was not the kitchen sink salad and not worth $16 price tag. They apologized and said it was all new people in the kitchen and they didn’t even know they were supposed to make us a salad, like that was supposed to make everything ok? The pizza was also very slow, and we watched as people who put in take out orders for pizzas after us left with their food as we waited. The pizza was at least good, and if I’m in the area, I’d consider doing take out, but will never dine in again and I recommend you don’t waste your time dining in either.

We got to the restaurant after making reservations online. They said it would be a 30 minute wait. Fine they were busy. You can pay for the food first and then get a table in 10 minutes or wait at bar. No room at bar but open tables that we can’t sit at either. So sit in the theater waiting area Finally get a beeper and waited another 30 minutes on top of the original 30. I go and ask what is the hold up? They go running with the tickets and you can see them scrambling to fill the order after they tell me it’ll be ANOTHER 10-15 minutes. I said Bull$hit and asked for manager. Other people had their food who had ordered after us. I asked for my money back along with the rest of the money for other people with us. No problem getting it back (a plus) and gave us our food as well. It was 3 out of 5 for that. Overall don’t waste your time 👎

First time here. Decided to order 35 minutes before a movie at the Ridge. They gave us a pager. The movie started and the pager still hadn't gone off. I went to check on the order. Not only did they take our simple Captain Morgan and root beer back into the kitchen twice to make it, but they had to use a measuring device to give less than 1 ounce of alcohol, and even told us that a double shot is only 1.5 ounces. We had a party of 15. We had lunch at Zaffiro's and then took my 9 year old son, his friends and some adults to the Mario movie at the attached movie theater for his birthday party. Zaffiro's management team and staff were so accommodating! They gave us a nice area in the back which was secluded from other guests. The food came out timely and hot! The waiter was so very kind as well. I was able to order food the week prior. We ordered 4 pizzas, wings and soda. They allowed us to bring in cupcakes and we did our gift opening there as well. Been coming here for years & never had as horrible of an experience as I did today.
Brought my baby to see the Super Mario Bros movie, placed my order, received a buzzer. After almost an hour and twenty minutes of not receiving a buzz I returned to the counter to inquire about my order. I was sent to zaffiros. After standing there for a few minutes one of the hosts approaches me, I inform him of my issue and ask what is going on with my order. If I could give zero stars I would. First off let me start by saying your prices are ridiculous especially for the amount of food you get or should I say lack there of. We started by ordering 2 side salads and boneless buffalo wings as appetizers. Super small salads that cost over 5$, and the buffalo wings were a joke 6 super small tenders that cost around 10$. We ordered a medium pizza which was thin crust and was the size of a frozen pizza you'd get at a grocery store. Because of the toppings we asked for this pizza was well over 20$. The crust tasted like saltine crackers and it was VERY dry and tasteless. Ordered cheese, sausage, mushroom, and onions, I think as we had to use inspect the pizza to see if we received all of the topping we asked for. My daughter ordered a chicken sandwich and fries which she enjoyed, but again she received the amount of fries that you'd get in a small fries at McDonalds. We were amongst maybe 4 other tables and the service was extremely slow, and had to remind our servers multiple times for things we asked for. Bartender's are servers, while other staff at the doors sat around doing nothing? After we were seated we waited nearly 10 minutes to get waters. I should've used this as a red flag to get up and go. Let's just say that I'd never return here, EVER. 71$ total for food I could've made at home better for much less.

If I could leave negative 10 stars I would. $70 for two drinks, a med pizza, and a Mac n cheese..... the food was beyond disgusting. The pizza is thinner than a piece of cardboard barely any sauce, cheese, or toppings. The Mac and cheese tasted like dirty alfredo water, the chicken in it was so burnt I almost cracked a tooth. We held my nephew's birthday party at Marcus Ridge Cinema and Zaffiro's New Berlin. Our guests were blown away by the staff's hospitality and genuine kindness. We had a private screening of Jurassic World and the popcorn and drinks we ordered were ready and waiting when we arrived at the theatre. Chandler and Elle at the vending stand were very patient with the kids as they ordered candy and icees. They allowed us a few minutes to put up simple decorations in the backroom of the restaurant. Emma and Jissell were AMAZING! They had the pizzas and sodas waiting on the table for us as we walked in from the movie and checked in through out our meal to see if we needed refills. Emma even provided a trash can for all of the wrapping paper from gifts. A HUGE BONUS was the cute little photo op by the ticket booths as you walk out of the the building that just so happened to match our party theme!

This place has come a long way! We had some issues in the past, but visited again this week and WOW! Zaffiro's has changed. We were there last Sat. and the toppings were really skimpy. For example: We ordered mushrooms on our pizza and it appeared that the kitchen staff used 1 single mushroom and cut it into about 20 slices that were as thin as a piece of paper. My family went here on a monday night and there were only 2 or 3 other tables in the restaurant. The food was good but expensive. We waited for 45 minutes to get our food. We ordered 2 pizzas and received only 1 and waited over 30 minutes for the other one. I specifically asked for nothing but ketchup on my burger and got cheese and tomatoes and it had to go be fixed. Some friends and I went for a movie. Before the movie I decided to get a cocktail and wanted one I had seen an advertisement for a few weeks prior. When I got to the bar there was no bartender and 4 or 5 employees just standing by the door. Someone had to go grab the bartender from the back. When he came out he was not very friendly. I asked if they had this particular drink I saw the advertisement for and he said no and stared at me with a blank face. I asked if there was anything like it and again he just said no and looked at my with a blank face. I asked if I could have a drink menu to look at what was available. He made no suggestions or gave me any information about what type of drinks he could make other than they had beer. My friends came in behind me and one ordered a beer. The other ordered a sangria and when he realized he'd have to make a mixed drink he became even more unenthusiastic. I ultimately left without a drink and my friends refused to tip because of how he was behaving.

We arrived 45 minutes before start of movie for a drink and appetizers and waited for 20 minutes for someone to take our food order.
There were customers at only 3 other tables.
We voiced our concern over the time and we were told that we didnt want to watch the previews anyway...really?
The manager delivered our food and didn't bother to say one word to us...
Perhaps he didn't care or want to know. This guy has to learn how to manage.
Wr were offered to go boxes.
No thank you! I don't want to take my appetizer home..we just needed 10 more minutes to enjoy it!

Sat at the bar, waited over 10 minutes for so much as a hello. We sat down at 6:46, watched 3 people behind the bar not face customers, carry on conversations without even greeting us, walk past many times until I finally had to ask if someone would wait on us. No apology for waiting, no acknowledgement at all. Our movie started at 7:10 and our dinner was supposed to be delivered to our seats. 7:28 went BACK to the bar in the restaurant to find out where our dinner was. I had to pick it up myself and the manager carried a couple items to the theater with me so at least I didn't have to make two trips.

My carry out order was for: 2) small 10" pizzas with (extra sauce, extra sausage, extra pepperoni, mushrooms and onions on both.) Additionally, I added, "please spare no expense as I am willing to pay for all the added toppings." I explained to the manager taking my order that I essentially wanted what is displayed in the Zaffiro case located by the front entrance (a fully loaded pizza). My cost for the 2) small 10 inch personal pizzas: $16.82 plus 15% gratuity, (and missing the first 20 minutes of my movie.) Please note that each small 10" pizza at Zaffiro is $5 plus $1 for each extra topping.
What I received is shown in the photos provided,
Each had burnt crust, along with 14 Pea sized hard balls of sausage, 12 pepperoni and 29 tiny slivers of onion.
The 2 employees I spoke with, stated they were restaurant managers. They offered no apologies and insisted I take what was provided, or receive a refund, as the kitchen staff can not make anything better than what they have provided. They stated if they add any more toppings the pizza would burn on top and not cook in their ovens. I was refunded $16.68 I will never do business with, buy from, shop at, or be a customer of this Zaffiro establishment ever again. My posting is based on facts, not feelings, or opinions.

My boyfriend and I ended up NOT eating at this restaurant tonight. When we went in the hostess said it would be a few minutes for a table, which was fine. We waited 5 mins, then a family of 4 came in. They were seated before us. Another couple came in right after the family of 4 and again were seated before us. So we left, and probably won't try to eat here again. Also, while we were waiting to be seated we noticed the ceiling was leaking from the light in the foyer. Thoughtless staff and poor upkeep on the facility.

Food has been hit or miss here. Some days it turns out really good and others it seems like they are sleeping. It shouldn't take 20 minutes to bring out an appetizer salad when the place is almost empty.
I think most people come for the pizza, which has a super thin crust. Overall the pizza was good tasting.

Came to Zaffiro's after seeing a 6PM movie. We had five in our party. We had to wait for about 10 minutes for a table. That was no big deal. We were seated, then nothing. No wait staff came to greet us or get us drinks. We sat and picked out want we wanted to eat. Still nothing, after about 17 minutes of no acknowledgement and about 5 to 6 staffers walking past us. We left. On the way out my wife said something to a person who looked like a manager about why we were leaving and his reply, "ok, thanks." Wow, just, wow. Apparently, Zaffiro's makes so much money, they don't need ours. I do not recomend this eatery. Go to Applebees or Texas Roadhouse where they at least know how to treat a customer.

We went there on New Years Day after our movie. We were seated right away. The restaurant was not busy and there was a lot of staff walking around. We sat there for twenty minutes with out anyone taking our order, checking to see if we were ready to order or even taking a drink order. We finally went up to the counter and ordered our own food (like we would if were going to take it into a movie). We were given our buzzer and went back to our table. Right before our buzzer went off a young gentleman finally arrived at the table to take our order. He apologized and said that he was never told he had a table waiting. The manager was walking around checking tables the whole time (not ours of course). We explained we took care of it outselves. The buzzer went off, we went to the counter to pick up our order and explained our situation to the “manager.” He basically blew it off and told us we should have never ordered ourselves, they do not give buzzers to people dining in. We ate our food, with out drinks and did not leave a tip. They did not seem to care much about the poor service.

We order pizza from here every time we come to watch a movie on $5 Tuesdays. The pizza is always good - especially the thin crust, YUMMY. I decided to be a little adventurous on our last visit and order the garlic bread appetizer to go along with our pizza. Such a disappointment. I took one bite and had to spit it out. Absolutely terrible. It came in a plastic container and looked AND tasted like it had been microwaved. Absolutely no flavor at all, except the nasty aftertaste that usually comes with anything that has been microwaved. We will keep coming back for the pizza, but never again for the garlic bread. Also love that the bar serves drinks that you can take into the theater with you and that they always accommodate my order of two glasses of wine so that I don't have to come back during the movie. Can be very crowded on Tuesdays and you will likely not get a seat, however this is understandable due to reduced prices and because the Ridge is a very popular theater.

I've been to the original location and loved it this is a pale imitation. Preordered a pizza for a movie and before even opening the box I commented to my sisters on how light it felt. When opened I thought they just made a mistake and gave me a pepperoni instead of the sausage and pepperoni I had ordered. It took my sister and I a few seconds to spot 2 of what could be described as sausage. Super thin crust I probably could have seen through if I held it up to the film! If I put cheese on saltines the flavor would have been better!
The girl behind the counter was nice so that, and that alone, gets the second star.

Very disappointing. We both had pasta dishes that lacked flavor. The chicken parm was suppressing bad. The chicken was dry, burnt and greasy. The sauce seemed like it was out of a jar mixed with crushed tomatoes from a can. It was runny and disgusting.

At least the manager comped when we complained. The calamari wasn't bad.

I would stick with the pizza.
