We had Friday fish fry there. Food was excellent, decor is nice. Someone played guitar and sang in a corner. Very enjoyable. Our problem was getting the correct food. Don't know if waitress was new or what. In a group of 8, 5 people didn't get the right food. Waitress tried to correct it, unfortunately 3 never did get what they actually ordered.

Hard to mess up breakfast but somehow managed. Literally forgot the breakfast in the breakfast sandwhich. Odd to offer a place for food and have the most inattentive service, it was more important to do anything else but serve the 6 guests in the building at the time. Maybe an off morning? Either way, with Ricky Martin blasting at 930 am, it's enough for me to never go back. On the brite side the place was pretty clean.

Made a stop for Lunch on Sunday 1pm. I ordered pulled pork sandwich and fries. The bun was a dollar store cheap old stale piece of bread. The basket sat on the pick up space for so long, everything was cold by the time the bartender gave us our food The pork was a lump of cold fat. My husband ordered BONELESS wings and received cold BONE IN wings. Took forever to get drinks. I'm now literally sick with food poisoning 🤮 please avoid this place!!!

Went there the opening weekend and had a wonderful Reuben because they used fresh corned beef instead of the deli sliced stuff which I hate. Went back last weekend and guess what, they served deli corned beef not fresh big difference in a Reuben. Very disappointed as I was excited to get it. Inconsistent might not go back service and cook time was slow at best. Our party also complained about not enough meat in the sandwiches for the price. Again probably won’t go back. Too bad as we were looking forward to the new ownership.

We sat down at a table. It took over 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. They were too busy standing at the bar talking and rolling silverware. It wasnt busy at all. Maybe 6 other tables. We ordered sodas. Took a long time to get them. Ordered our food. It was an app of deep fried pickles and then 2 burgers. I had fries and my friend had clippers and French onion dip. All of it came out together. The deep fried pickles were big thick round ones. They weren't great. My friends chippers were not cooked all the way. They were floppy so she couldn't "dip" them. She got a new order. French onion dip wasnt anything fancy. It was just like what you make at home. Burgers were OK. Waitress did not ask us how our food was. Came back one time for drink refills. I would say for now we wont be back anytime soon. Maybe they will get better as time goes on. Just not super impressed.

I ordered a burger on a gluten free bun because I have Celiac. Gluten free buns can be dense, so when the food came, I asked the server to pop the top bun in the microwave for 15 seconds to it up. She held out her hand! I then asked if she could grab a small plate to put it on, so she picked up napkin, so I put in on that. Later, I tasted my fries; they did not appear to be gluten free, so when the server came back around, I asked if they were. She said that!they weren't. I asked she didn't volunteer that information since I ordered a gluten free bun. She that some people don't care! I doubt that very much. Besides, would it have killed her to volunteer the information?! She acted like it was no big deal. How hard is it to tell me that the fries aren't gluten free??

We have been here twice and the service is terrible. This last experience was poor enough to upset our entire group and leave this review. I called ahead mid morning to let them know that we have a large group coming in, it would be roughly an hour before close. They said it would not be an issue. We arrived after our tubing session and they were short staffed ( which was an issue the year prior) and our server said we were his first table ever to serve. We ordered our food with other staff and my burger which was no cheese due to an allergy and was notified to the staff taking my order was incorrect and showed up with cheese. Ok it's a mistake, not upset on our end. The server then entered the kitchen throwing things around and yelling loud enough that the entire restaurant heard, as well as myself who was in the bathroom, that he was done and not fixing my order as well as many expletive rants. No person would ever want to hear what we heard tonight while going to a restaurant. We will never return. Business is lost from a large party that yearly comes to the area. I would never recommend a restaurant with this poor conduct and behavior. There are no excuses for that extreme behavior. Zero stars. Stay away. We definitely will try something new our next visit.

Our server was a powerhouse, she is an amazing server! We ordered 2 Bloody Mary's, they were delectable.

My ciabatta burger was amazing, My Mom had a taco salad, she loved it, my dad got Chicken Marmalade, he loved it. My grandma had a Tenderloin Sandwich w Fries. (The Saturday special.) And she loved it.

From old reviews from previous named restaurants that were here weren't wonderful, but I looked at 1873 Grille and OMG! Everyone seemed to love it! So we decided to try it after furniture shopping, (Also great location and people.)

I wouldn't believe that this used to not be good, because this was awesome.

The cheese curds on the Mary's also were white cheddar delights.

I've been here several times now for lunch and it's outstanding. Hands down the best this establishment has ever been over the years that it's changed names/ownership. Food is absolutely delicious and the server I've had every time was delightful.

I would encourage people to give it a try again as I know many people don't go there because previously the food, service, and bar was atrocious. You won't be disappointed!

The Sunday bloody bar is perfect with CRISPY bacon, make your own mix, and plenty of add-ons. We had the steak quesadilla (AMAZING), with a cubano and chicken marmalade sandwich. Both were perfection. The fries that came with my cubano were phenomenal. Super friendly staff that is not too push and does their job very well. We will 100% be back multiple times this summer.

We went in on Friday the 15th of March. We sat ourselves per the instructions given to us. It wasn’t super busy a few tables and around 4 people at the bar. We waited about 5 min before someone took a drink order from us (both just getting waters). The server quickly brought our waters back and took our order. I ordered a 2 piece baked cod with a loaded baked potato and my husband ordered a 3 piece fried cod with potato pancakes. For one I have never been more disappointed by a fish fry in my life. Both mine and my husbands meal took 30+ min to receive. When it arrived it was mostly cold. My fish was dry and my filets were only 2oz each making them the size of my hand palm. My husbands where no better. I asked for a loaded baked potato which comes with cheese, bacon, green onions and sour cream and revived a potato with no bacon and hardly any topping. This is upsetting because it was an up charge and not one that was worth it. It also contained a black hair. My husbands fish was cold, dry and rubbery. And his potato pancakes turned out to be one potato pancake and was only about 3 inches big. The coleslaw was drenched in mayo. The menu also stated you got backed baked beans and corn fritters and we got none of that. Neither of these meals where worth the price paid. Service was okay but none of the servers really looked happy to be there or to serve anyone. The place looks nice and clean but I could do without the jazz music in the background. I was not impressed and was very unsatisfied. I would not recommend and will not be returning.

Nice looking place. The food was low quality and mediocre at best. The Angus beef burger was NOT angus beef. The salads were extremely small and cost $14.00. The wait time from ordering and food delivery was 35 minutes for three people. The restaurant was not busy at the time. The service was slow and the server never cleared the table after we finished even though we stayed an additional 10 minutes.

THE SWEET POTATO FRIES! I saw a review that said they were the best they had ever eaten and that is no exaggeration. They were crispy and soft and flavorful.

This place was so good I woke up the next day having dreamed of eating more of their food and went back to try out more items on the menu.

The crispy chicken sandwich was simple, flavorful, and well made. The sauce to dip the sweet potato fries in paired beautifully with them. The pulled pork sandwich was so good I ate it slower and slower because I didn't want the experience to end. Even the regular fries were delicious tho I definitely prefer the sweet potato fries.

I would like to preface this review by saying this establishment is clean and the food was pretty good but a bit expensive. However !BULLY ALERT! Keesha, the bar bender took us to our seats and then another young fellow was put in charge of our table. He had no idea what he was talking about and he apologized becuase today was his first day. The bar bender left him to fend for himself as she stood behind the bar talking to her friend. During our 1.5 hour stay Keesha mocked and laughed at the new employee when he turned around, never once went out to help him take orders and was clearly annoyed when he came back to ask her questions. We were seated close to the bar and could see all of this with ease. The bartender brought over our bill when we went up and asked for it and she said she didn’t know she was supposed to be training today. I commend this fellow on his first day for his professionalism and grit. It breaks my heart to see a bully running the show. I will never return to this establishment.

Stopped for a late lunch after visiting Aldo Leopold’s shack. The waitress was super nice and served us quickly with just the right amount of attention.

My wife had a delicious grilled chicken panini sandwich with onion marmalade, bacon, chipotle, and Swiss cheese. I had the Ruben on a marbled rye panini which was excellent as well. Both had true cuts of meat, not deli slices.

We both had the fresh made potato chips that came hot; very good with the just right amount of salt.

Spacious inside with open seating. Maybe remodeled recently. Very clean. Big green egg smoking meat near entrance. Large sandwich menu with usual apps. I had the BBQ pork sandwich with fries and onion rings and iced tea. The pork was not heavily smoked and drenched in a very sweet sauce. A small cup of coleslaw came with the sandwich.
