We come here about once every month or two for a special treat. The food is always delicious! They especially do all of their meats really well! The Andouille in the Boilermaker is excellent!
The service is also great! The servers are always friendly and helpful!
Overall, the atmosphere is great for an upscale bar and grill-type place. However, where it loses points is the smell. The last few times we've visited, there's a distinct sewage smell. I'm not sure what would cause this, but it was consistent the last few visits. Hopefully they can locate the source of the smell and get it corrected.
Despite the smell, we still enjoy coming in and getting a unique meal we can't find elsewhere in the area.

Delicious food and beers. Nice Things was a delicious IPA- fruity, not too hoppy and a good balance of sweet and tart. Purple Reign was dangerous and tasted like Kool-Aid. Sticky Menaj was a tasty, sweet, desert- like barrel aged. Very attentive, helpful staff. Only downside was they hardly had any swag available. Beer list is on Untapped, if anyone is interested.

We had a team outing here Saturday 5/23. We had a group of around 25 people that we notified them of ahead of time. On a holiday weekend an extra server was assigned and came in mostly for our group in a semi private space. She knocked it out of the park. Was friendly, and made sure our orders were just right.

I also appreciated their convenient billing system that worked great for separating team member bills.

And their bourbon bock beer was fantastic. Unfortunately didn't take good enough notes to pass on the name of the server or great beer, but A+.

We were here about a year ago and the food was great food and price seems fair. Went last night and it was very different . We were disappointed for the price of the food and the amounts seemed less. But really the quality and service was the most disappointing. The food had no flavor, half was cold and the other half they had forgotten till bring it out. Our waitresses wasn't bad but we didn't see much of her. At first I assumed they just didn't have staff but by the end of our meal there was 3-4 people just sitting in the back kitchen that we could see. We will try it again to see but maybe just not on a week night.

I have been to this 7 Hills location more than a dozen times over the past few years, but after my experience today, I might not be back for a while. We came in to eat during a noon Packers game, but they only had one of their 5 or 6 TVs on the game. I nearly always get the Brisky Bites sandwich, but today it was bland and dry, almost flavorless. I asked for mayonnaise to improve the taste and they charged me $1 for it, plus another $1 for my side of ranch for my fries. Both were just small cups of sauce. Also, the garbage can in the bathroom was nearly overflowing and clearly hadn't been emptied since the night before. Overall, management seems to be absent at this location. Please get it together, or you will be yet another business that comes and goes at the corner of 2nd and Main.

The waitresses are not good at their job and need to be retrained! We were a party of 7, instead of putting two tables together to accommodate us, we sat at 2 different tables in the same room far apart. The floor was super sticky as if no one had washed them EVER! The restaurant was empty. The waitress handed them menus and took their drink order then gave us menus and walked away, she gave the other table their drinks and then took their order. Then she disappeared and came back 10 minutes later to take our drink order and we were ready to order a long time ago. The drinks were wrong , the food was very messy. The waiter was non existent the entire time, my coworker needed a drink refill and she told him to wait. The fries were good but the brisket burger wasn’t. The Brussels sprout bites were burned. I won’t return to that restaurant again!

Had a wonderful dinner on a Wednesday night, about 530 pm.. Located more on the east end of Main St in Platteville. We parked on a side street (2nd street?) without any problem. We were greeted and seated immediately. Ambiance is very nice. We both ordered drinks and the Brisket Bits on Texas Toast. My mojito was perfection, the dinner was absolutely delicious!! Both arrived quickly after ordering. The place started to fill up as time got more into the dinner hour, but there was never a wait for a table. We plan in returning again. I highly recommend you visit for a meal at 7 Hills North.

I order the 7 Hills burger..asked for additional toppings lettuce and tomatoes…which i didnt get. On top of that the onion frills that comes with the burger wasnt there..all i got was the pretzel bun, 1 dried up beef Patty and 2 slices of soggy bacons!!! Not worth it for an $18.00 burger after an up charged for Sweet pot fries!!!!!! Another order i got was the $16.00 bone-in wings which were so little so dried up with barely any sauce on it! From a Chef standpoint I dont mind paying for good foods but what i got today were not even worth half of the price I paid for, not including the 30 mins drive from Fennimore to get there!!

My boys and I were in yesterday for lunch and everything was delicious. I had the lobster and shrimp mac, which was so creamy and rich. One kiddo had steak and eggs and the other had a bourbon burger. Everything was cooked perfectly, their bourbon sauce was to die for, and the service was spot on. Ordered a burger, and the patty was very thin. For the price, I thought the burger patty was way too thin. Maybe add an extra patty to justify the price? Also, the cheese curds were scrumptious! But 13 bucks for a handful of cheese curds was not worth it. What are your overheads?

Everything was overpriced. I paid less for a better burger in downtown st louis with better service. And when I went to tip, the minimum was 18% why do you have higher prices on food if you're not paying your wait staff fairly? It's wild to me that you would overcharge then ask for the consumer to tip more. Buyer beware.

This was our first visit. Nice decor, clean crisp interior, nice branding. I got a spicy bloody Mary and brisket nachos, my husband got the lobster mac-n-cheese and a cocktail. At first the bloody tasted off putting but the seasoned salt rim really helped and complimented the drink. The nachos were in the app section but its a huge order! The brisket was a disappointment though, more like cubed roast beef. My husband said the pasta was good but for $20 there should have been more than 3 shrimp and the lobster seemed to be imitation lobster, shredded not chucked.

When we heard 7hills was opening a second location, my partner and I were very excited and held high expectations for this restaurant.

The crew at 7Hills did not disappoint. I stopped in a couple weeks after the opening and had a few brews. The selection of tap is satisfying and hits a wide range of beers. My friends and I all enjoyed what was on the drink menu!

What an amazing experience, definitely the best restaurant and bar in Platteville. It’s family weekend so the place was packed, but we still got in within 10 minutes. We got our drinks right away, I got the watermelon margarita, which was not too sweet, but nice and Smokey. For dinner I got the ahi tacos and they were so good. Nice thick slices of seared tuna, with some slaw, and a spicy Mayo that had a hint of horseradish taste. It was served with chips and salsa and the salsa was great, but the chips tasted like Tostitos. Overall it is definitely worth coming here, I know I’ll be back!
