I’ll start by saying that food is good, people were friendly during my phone call for a take out order.

“Carry out fee.”

So I called and placed a take out order. In hindsight I should have asked the total for my order which I never did but upon picking it up I see a “carry out fee if 6%” of my total order and I wish and recommend the restaurant to let their customers know that this is a “thing/fee” they apply for take outs. I was never informed of such a fee nor have I ever seen this in any other place. On top of that fee, there is the tip on the machine that starts at 18% ,20% and 22%. So 6% carry out fee plus tip, you will easily have another (at a minimum) 24% on top of your total cost. All I will say is, that’s crazy for a carry out.

After a bowling tournament, we needed a bite to eat. Quick Google search, I found this place with good reviews. I ordered the B.R.A.T. , daughter the GOAT, friends ordered the Classic 888 and Pickle fries. My BRAT was excellent 10/10, daughter said GOAT 8.5/10, other items were 10/10.

We love this place. The food is always tasty and fair price. The restaurant is always clean and usually pretty quiet. The service is always excellent. The owner is a super friendly guy who often stops to chat with us. They also have a menu of mixed NA beverages that rival any overpriced Starbucks refresher drinks, and for half the price. This is a great little spot. The Flight was a great sampling of three sandwiches. The PB Juan unique and delicious. The 888 classic is a really solid sanwich. I really hate to leave negative reviews for a local up-and-coming business, but my intention is that they can make some improvements on their food. I stopped in for the staple of comfort food, a classic grilled cheese, and a bowl of tomato soup. I have to say that the sandwich was grilled to perfection on their press but lacked the on the cheese-to-bread ratio. The tomato bisque was acidic and cut through each bite. I do like the variety of their menu and want to try some of the other creative sandwiches and dishes. I would recommend trying this place, but also trying some of their unique creations as I will.

I was blown away by this place. The resturaunt has a great atmosphere and cute vibe. I love the rustic vibe and cute little details throughout the resturaunt. Aside from that you get huge portions for the price. I love how the sandwiches are so creative and the drinks were amazing too! I had the Chow Down sandwich. Where’s my cheese? The classic 888 grilled cheese was advertised as being “ooey and gooey”. I’m very disappointed. Where’s my ooey and where’s my gooey, . If you look at the pictures, you can see the cheese doesn’t fill the sandwich, and where there is cheese it’s not a good cheese to bread ratio. Where’s my cheese? On a positive note, the bread tasted good and was nicely crisp. The cheese that I had tasted good, the ratio was just off. If, in the future, they up the ooey and gooey factor, I’ll be back but until then I’ll save my $9 and make my grilled cheese at home-where I know it’ll be as ooey and gooey as it should be.

We stopped here after having a slice of pie down the road at Sweetie Pies. There were two of us. We ordered two sandwiches and the chips w/ dip. The food is great! However, our waitress (Lucy) was very rude. We have been here three times now and every time she is disrespectful. We tipped her well and she still has a poor attitude towards us. Highly recommend this place & food. It’s in Wisconsin, and they use some Wisconsin cheese in at least some of their sandwiches. They gave our dogs a bowl of water and treated them with a bowl of whipped cream garnished with a doggy bone. Our dogs loved it. Each sandwich was big enough for two people, but we were very hungry and we each ate a whole order.

Made fresh to order with excellent portions, classic comfort food with some delicious twists. The grilled cheese burger stack is HUGE. Burger cooked very well and not overly greasy. The PB Juan was delicious. The jalapeños, bacon, and raspberry jam work well together with a touch of maple flavor— a great sweet/savory/spicy combo. We placed our order for 888 Cheese & Co, while we enjoyed dinks next door at Ahnapee Brewery. Scanned the barcode at our table and easily navigated the menu for 888. Our food arrived quickly (within 15 or so mins after our order was finished). It was delicious and tasty. Highly recommend the starter, Cheesy Curly Fries. Definitely tasty!! We enjoyed the cheese curds just felt it was a little small so next time we'll just opt for the Cheesy Fries. We split the Chow Down sandwich. And OH. MY! It was sooo soft and literally melted in our mouths. The brisket was wonderfully done. And that jalapeno cornbread perfectly complimented the flavors of the brisket. The pickles, too. There are so many simplistic characteristics that create a five star rating for a restaurant. Sadly, this won’t be one of them.
I was quite eager to try this “new” restaurant in The Howard Suamico area! I’ve lived out here for most of my life so I was ecstatic to see a venue that specialized in grilled cheese sandwiches (being a Mom of 3 littles); it’s home cooking at its finest!
Upon entering this dining experience, we weren’t greeted, even though there was a gal/employee directly in front of us at the entrance/register. Puzzled, we simply took our seats and patiently waited for a server to discuss menu options. After a few moments of seeing this woman just stand there, I then asked about drink choices and their specials. She rudely responded in a manner such that I was making her go out of her way to simply state that the menus are only available at the “place your order area.” A persons demeanor and personality, especially in the line of hospitality work, speaks volumes. When you’re made to feel like an inconvenience, rather than showing any enthusiasm whatsoever. Yikes.
Needless to say, after several attempts to enjoy this new dining experience, we decided to leave and went to a nearby establishment, who were perplexed to hear of this unsatisfactory and disappointing service. Truly unfortunate.

We ordered the Classic 888 and PB Juan. They are amazing. We added a side of homemade Ranch Pub Chips too.

Dinner was so good we added dessert. Fried ice cream. Yummy!! Definitely sharable with friends, it was huge.

All ingredients are fresh and wonderful.

Clean, friendly, and food is gourmet. Nice hidden gem!

Delicious food! Nice atmosphere. We came at lunch time and there were no cars in the parking lot. But we walked in anyway and we were glad we did. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious!

Excellent food, great service. We’ve gone back several times and enjoy trying the new specials. So far my favorite is the PB Juan, and my husband’s is the pretzel charcuterie.

The burger was tasty. Was put off by the taste of the cheese sandwich on both sides. Maybe too much bread for the amount of cheese? My friend completely enjoyed hers though so give them a try.

Basic comfort food but they just do it so well!! You can see they're proud of what they put on the plate!

Just read some people commenting on high price...but please don't discourage such restaurants to lower their quality by complaining about prices...

Great vibe and friendly staff. Order at the counter and take a seat. Great option after hitting the MTB trails at the nearby reforestation camp. An excellent low carb grilled cheese and a few keto friendly options. Salads are spectacular. Hopefully they'll add a few low carb sparkling drinks by the time I circle back!

Absolutely amazing Philly cheese grilled cheese 10/10 would recommend. Only down fall was the price :/ 16 dollars JUST for the sandwich. I have worked in the food industry my whole life and was shocked by that. No chips, fries, or salad to go with unless you wanted to pay 2-3 dollars more. But it was amazing and well worth it if you are okay paying that much for a grilled cheese ❤️❤️

Fresh, local ingredients, easy order at counter, comfortable booths, tables or a fun counter seating. Great Kids menu, over the top delicious sandwiches. I had goat cheese, perfectly prepared, he had Philly grilled cheese, dripping with yumminess. Great staff, very friendly. This isn't your ordinary grilled cheese sandwich place. We will be back!

TL;DR Good but expensive for what it is.

Wanted to try some place new, and was a big fan of "melts with you" when it was open in DePere.

2 grilled cheeses $9 each no sides included chips $2, bowl of tomato soup $3, soda and an anahapee beer + tip ~$37 lunch for two.

It was good but $9 for a cheddar and provalone grilled cheese, even on good bread is spendy. Wanted to try some of the other sides but $10 for an order of cheese curds. They are cheaper at the state fair.

I understand costs are high now, and it's in Howard so you are gonna pay some suburb tax but the juice is not worth the squeeze here.

The chicken raspberry salad sub olive oil & balsamic, all ingredients top notch, fresh & adequate EXCEPT the spinach base, got maybe 3/4 c loosely packed. Delivered in a 6X10 Chinese to-go container about half full. Recommend asking for 3x the spinach. Toppings & dressing would be adequate to cover that much salad. 4 stars for quality ingredients.

Outstanding. The PB Juan is the best. Not peanut butter, (fresh jalapeño) peppers and (Nueske's) bacon. (They even deliver to the Ahnapee Brewery taproom next door. QR menu at your table there)
