Fast food restaurant... hard to say 5 stars for fast food, but it WAS good, and the staff was even friendly. Not the usual feel, like your bothering them by asking for burgers and fries.
Owner was present and SUPER friendly as well.
Stopped for fuel and there happened to be a Wednesday car show in the A&W parking lot! THAT was a very neat diversion as my intent was to simply fuel up and hit the road again. Ended up eating here and getting a refreshing experience not available most places anymore.
I didn't take pics of my food. I did take a few pics of tge event as it too was unusual and casually fun. Vehicle owners present and chatty as well.

Meant to review weeks ago but what AMAZING service at this A&W! We used to go to A&W all the time as kids so my mom was very excited to stop here on our mini road trip. We had two dogs with us and the staff was so incredibly kind. They brought us water bowls and pup cups for both dogs. Just so sweet and accommodating! The food was just a yummy as I remember when i was a kid 😋

Food order was taken right away and came out hot and fresh shortly after. I got the chicken and waffle meal. The chicken was flavorful and moist but the waffle was small and hard. One small waffle and 3 good size chicken strips. This location had many workers but I didn't see anyone cleaning the tables which needed the attention. Other then the atmosphere and small waffle i think it was a good experience overall.

I don't right reviews all often. Very good with the food and a very lovely place. Beware your visit however, I came with my granddaughters and while we ate a couple young boys behind the counter were saying some very concerning things! A lot of loud swearing and and vulgar language, so inappropriate. My granddaughters began repeating the words heard. Excuse my lack of knowledge but the term Clanker or Clonker was used a lot. It feels this A&W just isn't the way it used to be. Very disappointed.

The food is always good. Takes me back to when I was a kid. This place has an outside patio, and you can have your dog out there on the patio. Nice for travel with a dog. The only down side is the noise from the interstate.

Our family is originally from MN and ND. But we haven't lived there for almost 20 years. We ended up traveling through WI on our way to some family get togethers and we were so please we decided on THIS A&W. The building is a stand alone, not paired with a gas station or another restaurant. It is authentic, nostalgic inside and outside and is close for on and off the interstate.
Very friendly atmosphere and very clean. But even better was Kyle, who took our order. He was welcoming and Friendly. He was helpful in accomadating to special requests and order changes for our family. He also brought the food out to us while we waited for our order in the restaurant (we were taking it to go) he chatted with us and made conversation and went above and beyond for my kids.
I was very impressed with our overall experience! Kyle knows how to run his business well. THANK YOU!

The restaurant looks and feels dated. Once popular, there just aren’t that many A&W restaurants still around. This one is hanging in there.

The mushroom onion burger was one of the best I’ve ever had. Cooked and seasoned properly. The root beer in cans tastes nothing like the stuff here. Fresh from the fountain it just pops with vanilla and sugar cane. The prices are higher than they used to be - baskets run $10-12 these days. About $25 for two of us.

The cashier was ESL and didn't understand what we ordered so what we got was not what we wanted. They had no ketchup in the condiments section we had to ask twice for ketchup. The other person who was working was literally sitting on the counter where the food goes and not doing anything. Then when my kids went to ask for ketchup again the non-english speaking guy had his headphones on and wasn't doing anything including waiting on customers. One of the worst experiences we ever had eating out and we go to the McDonald's regularly. The food was so delicious though

Absolutely amazing night crew! I had went to A&W 10 minutes before closing and the gentleman at the window made sure we had napkins, straws, and spoons. He also made sure we held our shakes the proper way to avoid spillage. I only rated 4/5 because hamburger was bad— meat was dry and the bread cold. Other items like fries and curds were amazing!

I already love A&W fresh rootbeer so it doesn’t take much for me to want to go here. I’m not normally close but was in the area and decided to stop for rootbeer to take home. The manager noticed I had popcorn and slushies in the car for a movie night at home and on her own gave us free root beer floats to add to our movie night!

Absolutely made my night and made sure that I will want to come back to this A&W location much more often not for a chance at free items but absolutely great customer service. Thank you!

Don't waste your money drive up to the next location going North. Ordered on mobile App food sat cold under warmer for 15 minutes as App said it still wasn't ready the staff just kept staring at me wouldn't help. Finally the teenage girl gave me my food when I asked how long it was sitting and I didn't want cold food, I just got a smile and the have a nice day in the end. $30 and cold food fries that were cold and hard I couldn't eat my entire meal my daughter bites because she was so hungry what a complete waste of money and time. Went home and ate. The teenagers smile and have a nice day really made it better though right?? Also 35 min after the pick up App still said the order was in progress!! The App says this is up to each store to take care of and deal with issues so thanks for that. I'd give zero stars if I could.

I have to give a huge shout out to the staff! I was there Saturday, August 3 with my family. I accidentally forgot my purse on my chair and didn’t notice until I got home (2 hours away). I called immediately and they had it and locked it in the safe for me. We picked it up today. Everything was in place and nothing was missing! In today’s world not many people have that kind of integrity but the employees at this A & W do! So helpful and courteous!

I ordered a 12 oz polar swirl and the cup was less than half full. I paid $2 more than the cone and the cone had more ice cream than the 12oz polar swirl. Very disappointed with pricing and how much was given. When asked the employee at the window if this is what a 12oz looks like he said yes which I know in the past did not look this small.

So far, A&W is my favorite American food chain. The chicken tenders are so juicy. Cheese curb is not soggy and chewy enough. Fries seasoned perfectly. The coney dog has really good chilies sauce. I just wish they soon will sell a cup of chillies. And they often forget the sauce, so check it before you leave!

Ohhhh how i wish i lived closer !!! The food was good, the dining room clean BUT the ROOT BEER FLOAT was AWESOME !!!!! I believe the fella was named KEEGAN that took our order the 1st time we walked in. He was nice polite and generally a welcoming person. We are from South Carolina, we know good folks and these peeps that work there are Good Peepers !!! We were in Wis Dells for a week. We ate at fancy fancy places all week. The last day on our way to the airport i asked my family what was the best place they ate and did they wanna go back. Hands Down we allllll agreed A&W beat all the other FANCY FANCY places out !!! Oh and did i mention the Root Beer Floats ?? AWESOME !!!!!!! Because of Keegan, Staff and Food we went back.
