Decent bar food and drinks. Tuesday night Extreme Bingo is great fun. BUT... the bartender Jess, at this place is horrible, she's rude, she's insulting and she's not at all funny. She's a lousy bartender and waitress too. There is not one redeeming quality about her and she ruins what otherwise would be a great night out at a local tavern.

I went here with my 1.5 year old on a Monday night for dinner. There aren't many restaurants open in the area on Mondays. The food was good, but the bartender/server was AWESOME. I asked it they had any fruit for the baby. I knew it was a long shot, but I thought I would check. They didn't have any, but the bartender was so kind that she made a smoothie for my little one using the frozen fruit they had. It was above and beyond, and I truly appreciated it. We will be back!

Since the restaurant opened we have supported them. The first time we had a negative experience i contacted jess to let her know. I was basically told i was wrong about everything and told she could remake the food and i could come pick it up. I said that was unnecessary and she informed me that if I didn't want her to fix it then I shouldn't have called.
At that point I contacted the manager. I explained that we like jess and didn't want her in trouble but some training was necessary. I was given a credit and asked to give them another chance. I did.
Jess completely ignored me. When i asked if everything was okay I was yelled at in front of the whole bar while Taylor and her boyfriend laughed.
Jess has eaten behind the bar. Jess has sworn in front of children. Jess has taken the entire staff outside for breaks at the same time leaving the bar unattended. She also chose at one point to explain to me that the manager is two faced.
Taylor has ignored me while chatting with her boyfriend.
The food is great. The atmosphere is as well. I have sent this place a lot of business.
It's a shame that jess can't handle a simple complaint.
Those two cost you guys are customer that ordered from you almost weekly.

Ordered the fish fry on a Friday night to go. Everyone was super friendly on the phone and in the bar but the food was horrible. The loaded baked potatoes were hard as a rock and the fried fish looked like 3 chicken fries. That was $33 down the drain.

This place caters to the out of town folks. When you have a summer customer that bully’s and chases your 1st time customers and returning in town customers out it’s a problem. All I can say is good luck October thru May, because we will never go back and neither will my neighbors after tonight. You should realize one night tip won’t make up for all year. Twin lakes will never support you. And the wings weren’t even good.

Server asked if we wanted a starter, my husband ordered wings since it was WING day, no wings came to our table. Dinner was cauliflower pizza for me which was not bad, husband ordered the hot honey chicken wrap with tater tots, sandwich was brought to the table and tater tots were ice cold. My gf & I stopped in today for dinner & drinks. She's a local bartender herself so her opinion prob better than mine. Although I miss the old Mad Dan's and the Northwoods ambiance, Ace's also did a great job with making it welcoming place to sit down for a cocktail & food.

Anywho, bartender stated it was only her 2nd day. She was so good I almost didn't believe her. She knew the menu and specials without a glance. Her margaritas were off the charts. She was beyond friendly & attentive. We split a taco platter. Six tacos with 3 well proportioned sides for $20. We actually took some home. Where else can you eat for $10 a person and leave full?

We both agreed we will be back soon. Awesome specials on their board I can't wait to try.

Newly updated and the atmosphere is brighter. Our server was very friendly and we really enjoyed her service. The mixed drink was nicely made and nice presentation however low on the alcohol. We had two appetizers and they were disappointing the potato skins were cold on the bottom and the spinach dip was barely enough for one person.
