We went here for my sister’s bachelorette party dinner and the experience was awesome! Our waitress was great, very attentive, and on top of everything! The food was amazing!! We weren’t expecting much from a place tucked away like this, but we were all surprised with how incredible all of our dishes were. My husband and I are traveling the country for our Veterans project The Patriot Soil Project and this is our 27 state so we stayed in town for the evening. The menu at Adventures had good variety so we decided to give it a try. As soon as we walked in we were quickly greeted and seated by a friendly gentleman. Our server was Angie who is a friendly and attentive server and put up with mine and my husband's humor. 😁 We enjoyed our meals, salmon and the fajitas, wine, cocktails and a yummy dessert. Angie took great care of us and we truly appreciate all she did. We definitely would recommend this place.

Dined here with three other people on a Sunday evening.

Very nice interior, had that Northwoods motif. Met hostess as soon as we walked in. We were seated immediately. Restaurant was about 20% full.

One of us was using a walker. Access for them was good. They had a ramp to access the dining area. Walker storage was a bit tight but they offered to store it at the front of the restaurant.

Waitress met us within a couple of minutes and was very good. She took drink orders. I had a local IPA from a town nearby in Grantsburg, it was excellent. My spouse had an Adventures martini. It was made with maple syrup from the owner's property. She thought it was ok, but different. Probably wouldn't order it again but it was fun to try.

Special was a custom Asian menu. None of us ordered from it.

I ordered the pepperoni and sausage pizza. Rated it 3.5 out of 5. it was a bit pricey; crust was a bit undercooked towards the center. Cheese was from a local dairy and was good. For price could have had more toppings. Marinara sauce was great.

Spouse had Pineapple teriyaki chicken. Said it was 4.5 out of 5. Rice, I think was a wild rice blend. Chicken was tender.

Guest had Jack Daniels Burger with fruit on the side instead of fries. She rated 5 out of 5. Fruit was actual fruit not like frozen fruit cup stuff.

Second guest had the ribs. He rated it 5 out of 5. Said fries were very good. Ribs were tender.

We've eaten here several times. The food is good, and it has a quaint northwoods, outdoorsy decor.

The service was less than satisfactory this time...sub-par at best. The waitress walked past our table numerous times and kept ignoring us. My husband got one cup of coffee with not even one refill. This was at 2pm, not during a busy lunchtime. Kinda disappointing. 😕

I asked the server if she was kicking us out and she said "No, you can stay as long as you want."

$12.99 for a smoked chicken salad. Salad was the size of a dinner salad. Couple of pieces of green leaves covering several white salad stems. What a great “first time” dining experience! We were surprised with the menu selections (more than just burgers, chicken and pizza). We had the Mahi Mahi dinner and the Salmon dinner, which were both cooked to perfection. Full of flavor, moist and served piping hot. The side dishes were also tasty and the portions were just right.
The wait staff were friendly and professional, especially our server Don. We were SO impressed with the food and service, that we look forward to dining here again soon AND often.

Stick to the main menu items. I was there on a Wednesday, in addition to their regular menu they had an Asian AND a Mexican specials menu.
I ordered Chicken Teriyaki. The chicken was still half frozen. The stir fried vegetables were just an overdone gooey mess. Someone attempted to fix the vegetables by adding fresh pea pods (that had the actual peas cut off, lengthwise, meaning the plate only had the tough part of the pea pod) and those were completely raw. Zoom into my photo to see for yourself! I did not make this up!
I was in a bit of a rush, so did not send it back and just picked out the rice.
I have been here before and ordered from the main menu. Those dishes were just fine. This one, was an absolute mess.

I hope the management reads this review and takes appropriate action.

Make less dishes but make them well. You don't need 3 separate menus on the same day. Just stick to what you do well!

The Seafood Mac and Cheese was too thick...too much cheese, not enough seafood.
Her dish, just bland.

Not to mention that we both were seeking a restroom a half hour later???

What a wonderful lunch stop! We picked Adventures off the map while passing through and we're *really* glad we did. Super friendly staff were very helpful describing menu options, and the food was top notch. Burger Monday specials made the kids happy. We frequent Adventures a lot when in the area. It's one of the few places that has a decent Gluten Free menu in addition to the typical bar food offerings. The food is high quality and while I can't eat off of the regular menu, I have purchased the Wisconsin burger many times because it is a favorite in my dining party. Adventures also has a rewards program that issues rewards based on purchases and birthdays. The servers are kind and attentive. On a busy night, though, they work hard to keep up.

We ate here 3 times while we were in town this weekend. The food was fantastic. Service was pretty good, we had Maisy one of the times and she was great! The other times we had another server who was very flirty with my husband, to the point she was making him(and my children) very uncomfortable.
