Came early October. They have one of the best apple selections we've seen. The sweets and other items in the market are also great. And while it's definitely family friendly, we didn't feel out of place as an adult only couple.

It was a terrible experience. I wanted to like it, but it was $24 a person to pick apples(we just wanted to pick apples, not do play experience), the lady that runs the restaurant was incredibly rude, the wait for a table to eat at 1:00 just to sit down was 45 minutes, and when we were going into the bathroom just to wash our hands(we didn't notice there were some people waiting to use the bathroom) she yelled across the room at us. It was just a stressful experience all together and not what we would have thought would be a fun peaceful, apple picking day.

Great selection of products! Lots of local and Wisconsin made products without preservatives! Was a rainy gloomy day but my girlfriend and I made the most of it! We both got a good variety of apples for how late in the season it is! Lots of interesting things to do and try! Hope to be back next year for some peaches and pears!

Drove an hour with my baby, arrived at 3:40pm was told they can't sell us tickets that late and that we are only welcome in the gift shop. The cardboard cut outs and brown apples aren't worth the money or the drive.

Beautiful orchids and only an hour outside city are a huge plus but upon arrival the first thing we were greeted with upon parking were armed “sheriff” agents carrying guns and wearing tactical vests. Is this orchard filled with armed criminals? What warrants armed guards at a family apple orchard? This immediately made my kids uncomfortable and seeemed totally unnecessary. You can have security that are not armed to assist at an APPLE ORCHARD. There was many activities for kids- corn maze, pony rides, water races with toy ducks, farm animals, chickens etc LOTS to see and do. For those that get overwhelmed easily this is not the apple orchard for you (also playing classic rock hits loydly). It was very crowded on a Monday that was a holiday. The staff we encountered were nice and helpful and there was lots of food and drink offerings although the constant checking of bands and receipts also seemed rather intense. Mixed feelings about this orchard but the apples we got are delicious.

I’ve passed this place many times on the way up to Wisconsin but never visited until this past week—and I’m glad we finally did! It’s a super cute spot with tons of activities for kids during Fall Fest, plus a U-pick apple orchard with so many apple varieties I hadn’t even heard of. We had a great time and spent about 4.5 hours there.
The only reason I gave 4 stars is that it’s a bit pricey. We each got to pick ½ a peck of apples with the $30 per person admission ($120 for the four of us), plus high food prices—a plain hotdog was $9 with no sides—it added up very quickly. We ended up splitting two hotdogs and some chips and filled up on apples instead.
Overall, a fun spot for families, just be prepared for the cost.

I’ve never been to Apple Holler before, but I've heard good things and wanted to bring my children.
When I got there this morning, it was crowded. I had trouble finding a parking spot, and a sheriff rudely told me the lot was full and I had to park on the street. I was visibly upset when a bearded policeman saw me and said he’d find a spot. He walked me into the overflowing parking lot, found me the last space, and even helped me get my stroller out of my trunk and set it up while I was getting my kids.
Tell that policeman thank you!!!!
All the staff I met throughout the day were all wonderful and the food was just how grandma made, it was so delicious!
I'll be back next weekend when my husband doesn't have to work. It was worth the long drive.

Apple Holler was a nice, family-friendly place. I like the cute shops. I bought an Apple Cider slushie that was good. The donuts are really good, too. I got the chance to pick some apples in their orchard. It is an expensive place, though. But I recommend making a day trip with family and friends to visit there. Many different varieties of apples.

Paid $100 for about 20 apples and a dozen donuts. That’s about what we expect when we come here. They used to give every kid a free ticket to go on the jump pad but we weren’t given any tickets this time when we bought our bags. Our kids waited in line for 20 minutes to go on the jump pad just to be told they couldn’t do it. Even after politely explaining to the attendants that we weren’t given tickets, they were turned away. Something so petty leaves a bad taste in my mouth, despite how delicious the donuts were.

We had such a great time picking apples here last Sunday! It was the perfect fall family day and a fun way to teach my toddler that apples don’t grow in Costco bags 😅
It was pretty busy (as expected for a weekend), and by the time we arrived around 10 AM, the parking lot was already full. Tickets were also on the pricier side (each person needs their own bag to pick, and even the smallest one costs about $20). But once we got past the entrance crowd, the vibe totally changed. Out in the orchard, it felt peaceful and spacious, we practically had a whole row of apple trees to ourselves! 🍏🍎
The place is well-maintained, and we appreciated seeing security staff patrolling, made everything feel organized despite the crowds. My toddler also got to experience her first pony ride, which made her day! 🐴💕
We loved relaxing in the open barn area, eating lunch while enjoying live music, such a cozy touch.
Overall, a great experience and definitely price-worthy for a family outing. We left with happy hearts, full bags, and one proud little apple picker. 🍂✨

This is a great place to visit with friends and family. There is something for everyone here.
There are games and plagrounds for kids; goats, horses, and chickens to feed and pet; tractor rides, and lots of fresh fruit to taste straight from the vine.
Depending upon the time of year, there may be peaches or pears, but always dozens of different apple varieties. Buy a bag and take home as many pieces of fruit as can fit. There is often live music, lots of food vendors, a sit-down restaurant, and stores that sell baked goods, merch, preserves, cider, etc.
My recommendation is to visit the Mars Cheese Castle afterwards for delicious cheeses that will pair well with the apples you've picked.

If you are going with a group of families with multiple children and some of those kids are under the age 2, I recommend other orchards. We did not choose Apple Holler because they charge kids under the age 2, $24/person, for apple picking and this is for the 1/4 peck bag only. I called the business to confirm.
With a large group we wanted the flexibility to buy a la carte, to have the option of purchasing apple picking tickets separate from the rides and games, especially if you have a toddler barely walking. I understand it’s common practice to charge an all inclusive package, but it’s also common practice that other apple orchards don’t charge kids 2 and under to enter an apple orchard-those kids simply don’t receive a bag.

I had seen the viral picture of the apple cider float and had to go try it. It’s a decent sized facility with a lot of space with about half of it being for kids to play in. The shop has a wide variety of things but it can get cramped in there. We didn’t pick apples so I can’t speak on that but the float was good and the donut on it rivaled my favorite orchard. Main complaint would be parking is pretty limited. We had to park on the shoulder of the street leading to the place. If you don’t have small children and aren’t there for apple picking there isn’t much to do. The restaurant isn’t really open on the weekends and the food menu is limited. I would probably go back though

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed Apple Holler! We went on the weekend and it was very busy but they had plenty of seating so we truly did not mind. I would agree with other reviews that certain activities are pretty expensive, and I would say overall that this place is more family/kid geared than adult geared. We did not do the kiddie park for obvious reasons and we also chose not to do apple picking since it was $20+ per person for a small-ish bag to put your apples in. The cider was okay, but as big cider drinkers, we thought it tasted more like juice than anything else. Must try's though, are the apple cider donuts which were perfectly crisp and soft on the inside, as well as buy yourself a bag of apples! If you are okay not having the experience of picking the apples yourself, you can buy a huge bag for $7, and the honeycrisp apples we got were the best honeycrisp apples I have ever had!

This is our second year in a row and it’s a great time. There is a ton to do and you can spend the whole day here if you have younger kids. There is a ton of food options, beer if you want it and apple picking of course. My only gripe is it can be very expensive. It probably rounded out to be a $200 day for a family of three.

Been here quite a few times over the years when we pass through. The donuts are still good but i was very disappointed in the expensive pie. There’s so much cinnamon in it that it was not good. We didn’t taste much apple at all. They used to be so good but this was not the same and jewels apple pie is better. Plus they put this sticker on the back of the box to refrigerate. Why not put it on top or the side with the opening. Not sure we’ll stop next time we pass through.

I’ve been coming to this orchard for years, but sadly, this was the last time. Their policies have become increasingly rigid and money-driven. This year, I was shocked to learn that every single person entering the orchard — including toddlers — was required to purchase their own bag. I was with my three young children (ages 1, 3, and 5), and yes, even my 1-year-old was expected to have a bag. Let’s be realistic: a baby can’t pick apples, let alone carry a bag full of them.
When I asked if I could at least buy a larger bag, like a bushel, to cover one adult and the kids, I was told no. Absolutely no exceptions. On top of that, every person must wear a wristband (which is understandable), but then upon leaving the orchard, you’re also required to show your receipt for the bags and wristbands — as if the wristbands weren’t proof enough. It felt excessive and frankly, insulting.
This orchard has gone from being a fun family outing to a nickel-and-dime operation. It’s clear they care more about maximizing profits than creating a welcoming experience for families. It’s really unfortunate to see how much it’s changed over the years.
We’ll be looking for a new orchard next season — one that’s more reasonable and family-friendly.

We arrived and the weather looked like it might be dicey. So I asked about it when buying tickets and the cashier nicely said it would be fine. So I paid and we walked to where the tractor picks you up to take you into the orchard. Two attendants said "you might want to get a refund because a thunder storm is coming and we won't drive the tractors in a thunder storm". So we walked back to cashier building, and a different woman was insistent that the attendants did not know what they are talking about and then she escorted us back to the tractor pickup area. So we got on the tractor.... Then the rain started... And the lightning.
Then we got dropped off in the orchard and we're walking among the apple trees making the best of the situation because, you know, I'm $120 for 4 people into this now so what can I do?
Not even ten minutes or a full row walk of apple trees goes by and another tractor comes for us and says "you gotta go, we don't drive during thunder storms".
Then we were taken back to the pickup area with some apples we hastily shoved in those ripoff bags they give you so that we got at least something out of this. But we didn't get to choose the type of apple or look for ones on the sheet they give you or even walk a single row of apple trees and now we have to leave?
Tractor drops us off but when we walked back to the cashier building, the lights were out and no one was there. So everything was indeed fine.... They got my money and I got ripped off.
So, my advice is if you go, Apple Holler only wants your $30 a person. That's their focus. Your experience isn't their concern.
And for us, $120 total bought us ten wet minutes in the orchard. Clearly not everyone's experience will be the same but after going two years in a row now, it's my opinion that this is one of the biggest money grabs in the area. Proceed with caution... And maybe clutch your money tightly because this place will smack your wallet hard.

The people who work here are extremely nice, and the place is beautiful. Had been up here many times when my kids were young. What I found dissapointing is we had not been up to Apple Hollar for about 4 years. It was us and three kids ( teens/college). We just wanted to pick apples- they were not going to be enjoying any of the kids activities they have ( which is a lot of you have young children); And I had not planned on picking anything. It was just an opportunity to be with my kids and let them enjoy. When we arrived it was minimum $24/person regardless if you were picking or not. That is $125 just to walk in. So if only three people are picking, you’re basically paying $50 for two people to just walk thru the orchard. They should have a price just for just picking especially where you’re not doing any of the other kids activities. So the kids went and we sat back and just waiting around. So didn’t really have much family time.

Outside I tried the pulled pork Sammie which was OK but was very disappointed in the corn which was only boiled not roasted. No sun umbrellas on the picnic tables. Took home peaches which when ripe are better than grocery store but not as good as the trucks that come from GA every year.

It’s a cute place, but we felt it was overpriced. Admission was $14 per person, which seemed steep—especially since we paid the same for four kids ages 1–2, who had little interest in the bounce house or pony ride. It definitely seems like a great spot for older children, where the admission would feel more worthwhile.

Very nice place. There is A LOT going on, feels very over whelming. Very claustrophobic feeling. The girl at the counter highly recommend their Bloody Mary. It wasn’t anything special for $15. The apple cider flight was very delightful. This is a great family fun day! I would definitely come back.

Waste of money .Overripe peaches.Unripe tasteless apples. Dishinest staff . They sell last ticket for fruit picking at 3pm & closes the farm at 4pm ,even on weekends. So first u wait for the tractor ride for 15-20 minutes, then u take the ride (its a very big field) ,then u r dropped somewhere & from their u walk to the peaches field . By this time its already 3.30/3.40 or so then u r rushed through the peaches field & can't do any of the play area activities . The staff won't adjust for other day ,won't inform u in advance that they will close early on weekends .

Great place to bring kids. I am an adult and enjoyed feeding goats. Lots of areas to learn. Walk of information on bees was even able to teach me a few things. Will definitely going to plan a trip here with our grandson.

One of the best experiences ever. We went for peach picking and it was really fun, excited and delicious Haha. We drove for 90 miles - round trip 180 miles just for this and it doesn’t let me down. Although it’s near the end season surprisingly delicious and plenty of fresh fruits from the tree. Overall love it and worth to try just for a while.

The best apple cider donuts around. Their apple cider is also great. We always bring down two jugs instead of the gallon because once you open the cartons, the clock on freshness starts ticking. So, I open one at a time. They don't use preservatives, and I prefer that over added chemicals in my food. It's always fresh. It's totally worth the 40 minute drive up there.

It's a very nice environment but the portions are very small for the price you pay. The restaurant isn't run the best. Instead of a waitress, you go sit at your table, then get up to order at the pay station and then go sit back down. Not a very smart business model

Employee’s have no idea, I asked what the difference was between apple pie and apple dumpling, they said we don’t know. The blond girl at the restaurant gave me a pie to go since I said I was traveling an hour with it, she had it warmed up to an extreme temperature. Over priced due to the novelty. If you purchase a soda with a bottle cap you have to ask for an opener, they don’t offer. Lastly they had no idea if the peaches were sweet or sour. Would I return, no absolutely not.

First time at Apple Holler and it lived up to all the great things we’d heard! We ate at the restaurant ,the biscuits and gravy were delicious, and the sides, apple cider, and apple pie really hit the spot. The whole place has such a warm, welcoming feel. Great atmosphere for both little ones and adults. We’ll definitely be back!

Delicious donuts as well. Cute decorations and great products as well. Took away one star away because before Covid you could sit down and be waited on. Now you take a menu and figure out what you want while everyone else does the same. Gets congested by the register. Then they give you a number and you sit down and wait for your food. Ladies working there are very attentive. But I miss the way it was.

Well run operation with pick your own apples and peaches. Gift shop, bakery, and restaurant. Love those cider apple donuts. Also plenty for small kids to do including goats, slides, bike track. Would go again .. and a one hour road trip for us.

Had a great breakfast with 6 people. You order at the register and pay and not with a waitress which is different. However, they deliver the food, bring refills and clean your table. Great atmosphere and the food was really good.

Holy 🍎 sauce! Loved everything about Apple Holler. We stopped by for some cider and donuts and ended up staying for lunch because it was so cute / country style. All of our lunches, hard ciders, and cider slushies were awesome. Would highly recommend it to any apple lover.

I had just gotten married here June 28th, 2025 and it was an amazing wedding! Elyse did so well with making sure everything went according to plan & answered all the questions we had! It was such a beautiful weddding! Being able to ride out to the ceremony cite on a horse drawn wagon was great! The reception barn was beautiful, but just a warning it can get very warm especially if its a June wedding. Other than that I enjoyed my wedding, and both my husband and I were so satisfied! Thank you Elyse for everything!
As for Apple Holler with apple picking, we love it! We make it a tradition to go every October and this past October was our first at Apple Holler. We loved all the things you could do from feeding the goats, getting yummy food, games, and of course apple picking! Apple Holler is amazing in so many ways! Their food is also just amazing! I'm gluten free, and there are still sooo many options to choose from that are amazing! I loveeee the gluten free snickerdoodles, and my husband loves their donuts! Apple Holler is the place to go!

The restaurant is great and the selection of options is also pretty awesome. I fully enjoyed the very berry pancakes. The kids section out back could use some sprucing up but was otherwise fun. The goats were cute. My daughter had a blast on the playgrounds and huge slides.

It was a very nice day. The food at the restaurant was good. Two kids meals of grilled cheese and side of fresh fruit and or apple sauce which was very good. Was $25.00 plus drinks. They had alot for the kids to do which was a two year old and five year old. The entry fee to feed the goats was $7.00 which included a pony ride. All in all it was a nice day alot to do. The young ladies that worked were all very sweet, pleasant accommodating I highly recommend the place

We had our wedding here a few weeks ago and it was AMAZING! Our coordinator Elyse was great with helping us plan the wedding. She and her staff were extremely nice. Throughout our time with her, she would check in on us with updates on the wedding and was there for us when we had questions.
During the wedding she was very organized and helped the day run smoothly. The food there was amazing and i wish i was able to eat more of it on the day lol. I would 100% recommend couples to have their wedding here, it was truly the best day ever!
p.s. Also riding in on a horse drawn carriage to the ceremony was hands down the coolest thing ever!
