I ordered medium rare prime rib. I was given well done twice. If they didn't have it they should have let me know, so I could have ordered something else. Instead of fixing it they made me pay for it and go hungry. The prime rib was like shoe leather.

Probably my fault for not asking more questions but a gravy dunked, bone-in baked 1/2 chicken wasn’t what I was expecting. Server was friendly but the sloppiness of my dinner was off putting. Best breakfast in all of Columbus WI. I love a weekend breakfast out and this has been my favorite bof all the places I've tried as a newbie to the area. Went there to try it for the first time and it will be the last time.
Food tasted like it came out of a can, the waitress took our order and then I had to go and ask for my check. Never saw the waitress again. Husband food came with a salad that was lettuce, 1 cucumber and 2 tomatoes and tha5 was it. My sourdough blt was bland and had no flavor.
Owner was just standing there and saw us just sitting there and did nothing.
They are lucky to get 1 star. Will NEVER go back and would recommend there are better places to go and eat in town.

We went for the Friday evening fish. I ordered the baked cod;; it was so bad I couldn't even eat it. It had absolutely NO flaved and way very watery. My wife and I really enjoyed the small town atmosphere in this restaurant. The service was awesome, and the food was very good. I rated the fettuccine alfredo as delicious, but my wife rated her steak and baked potato as okay. She's a little more picky and prefers chain restaurants, but I lean more towards locally owned and operated. Her initial choice of a meal was discontinued, so I would suggest updating the menu.

We also had strawberry banana pie dessert, which was really good. I believe the waiter indicated that the pie is supplied from a bakery in Chicago. The food was reasonably priced, and I would definitely visit it again.

Okay let me start off by saying apple tree is one of my favorite places to eat. Tonight, we had chance as our waiter. He got our drinks right away, but then we waited probably 20 minutes for him to take our order. I don’t know if he forgot about us or what. The service is usually good so I don’t know what happened.
