The only reason there is a star at all is because of the service. Yes, I have had better service but she did her job and that's what matters. Food was not good. Overcooked and cold. The presentation was horrid and they didn't have what is supposed to be with what we ordered. I told management but not for the reason of getting a discount. I paid my bill. Maybe just maybe Management will listen to what I said but probably not. I frequent Applebee's restaurants and will continue. Unfortunately this one location will no longer get my business. It was also colder than it was outside where we were seated. Service was great food was absolutely not. Bring a jacket. Better yet go a little further north to the Green Bay location.

Very disappointing visit compared to previous. I came in with one friend before 11, planning to order just the half price appetizers and be out in 30/45 mins. There were only 2 tables when we walked in, so it wasn't busy. After placing our order with a very unenthusiastic server (didn't say name, make conversation, etc) we waited around 30 mins for our food, just 4 of the smallest appetizers. When the first of our food was brought out (the other 2 were brought out 10 mins later) we were told that the kitchen staff were "having a heated conversation and forgot about our order". The food we received was not of quality, either. The queso was visibly very burnt, the cinnamon roll bites were missing the cream, and the bacon was burnt. Although we asked for our checks at the same time we ordered, they didn't come out until 5 mins after the last of the food. We were also not once checked on, drinks refilled, ect, despite being the only people left in the restaurant except for 2 people at the bar. We didn't intend to stay nearly as long as we did nor make the staff do so, so we asked a staff member sweeping for to-go boxes after our server had disappeared for a long time again. We left just before 12, and on the drive home I noticed that we were charged full price for all of our appetizers, too (not about a food comp, we didn't have a chance to ask about one, but about their famous "half price appetizers after 9pm" deal). Overall, we left very unsatisfied and disappointed.

TERRIBLE!! Don’t ever spend a dime here. We had gift cards to use that we received, otherwise we would never go here. We got seated right away but it took 15 minutes and multiple walk throughs from the waiter to even start serving us (and it was not even busy). The carpet was filled with crumbs. The empty bar was cluttered with cups and glasses that were never cleaned up. The tiled floor was sticky with discrete shoe marks from who knows how long. The food was extremely cold when it finally arrived. I asked for a to-go box 3 times to the same waiter until he finally brought one. Definitely did not feel valued at all. One would think that if this is one of the last few locations open, it’d be good. Pathetic is an understatement. We stood around for a solid 5 minutes before we were seen by the hostess. Then when we were seated it felt like an eternity before we were acknowledged by our soon to be server. However, she didn’t take our orders. She stood up at the bar and zoned out for another 7-10 minutes. The drinks being promoted for the halloween season have little to no booze in them at all, and our server never even bothered to ask if we wanted refills or anything else to drink. We each had a dollar zombie drink and shared one of the $10 buckets. We waited nearly 30 minutes just for our appetizer, and another 30 after that for our food. The only plus side was that the food wasn’t horrible (though, we could tell the cook was burning food as you could smell it in the restaurant). During this course of time, I noticed four sets of people come in the front doors and stand around for time on end before being acknowledged. The music choice was not only very loud, but poor taste as well for the setting. The most prompt service was near the end, when my boyfriend asked for a box and the server immediately returned with one. She disappeared again and we waited another solid 10 minutes before someone else (whom we deduced to be the manager) asked if we just needed to pay our bill. She took care of it quickly and then we could finally leave. Never again. Adios, Applebees.

Tbh, this is the worst one I have ever been to.
No appetizers available, no Ice cream available, root beer had no carbonation… (was replaced with a Mountain Dew free of charge that had carbonation)
Overall this was a disappointing visit.
My soup and sandwich was decent, but my friends soup was very spicy… when we told the server… the reply was “oh, I’m sorry…” - no suggestion offered on how to remedy the situation.

The place had its A/C on maximum warp… don’t even think about coming here without a sweater or sweatshirt or jacket.

Order pickup, the order was ready quickly. The service was very friendly when I came in to pickup my order. The food was so tasty and the price was very fare . Ordered the $25 meal deal which includes 2 meals and a large appetizer to share. Really can't even get this amount of food at a fastfood restaurant for less, and Applebee's is so much better!

Weird vibe there compared to past years. We stopped for a drink before heading to a movie. Dead silence in there. We sat at the bar for about 5 min while a woman was making drinks for the server. She then walked away (maybe into to the kitchen?) and never returned. They were super short-handed with one 1 guy serving about 10 tables. He eventually came and asked us if we wanted food and made us a drink. He did an amazing job considering. 3 stars because the other lady just walked away, and we waited at least 10min to get a drink. We ended up just leaving cash on the bar because he wasn't able to get back for us to pay. I don't think I'll go back.

I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but this visit was just not good. It started off with standing around waiting to be seated for almost 5 minutes, even though the place was pretty empty. Then we only got 7 mozzarella sticks when you are supposed to get 8. My wife asked for waffle fries as an upcharged side, but didn't get them, so we told the waitress. She brought out a basket of them, but then charged us 5 dollars for the basket. The chicken tenders in my dish were the tiniest I've ever seen. My wife never got a side of coleslaw even though she reminded them that it was missing and our waters were never refillled. We talked to a manager and they took a little bit off the bill, but it was just bad. It wasn't busy and it was a Saturday night. Will never go again to this location.

For starters, I placed an online order with someone in a call-center. I asked for a season blackened chicken Alfredo pasta. The chicken was chopped in croissant size and burnt nowhere near seasoning. I called then and tried to explain this to the manager. She tried to make a whole Nother dish for me, but at that time I was extremely Sick sick from not eating the whole day and the broccoli was not cooked at all. She offered me to come the next day in the afternoon to remake the mail. Unfortunately, I had to leave. The next morning, I noticed there was a bell you can ring to the back of the building. The manager came to the back of the building. I asked her can I have a refund she said she had to call her manager. The manager approved the refund, but not my fool amount on the refund, she said they gave me many options which the option I chose was a full refund as going over and over in the conversation she refused to refund me my full amount please check your food thoroughly before leaving this facility. Make sure it’s up to your liking and make sure it’s well cooked to your liking as well, other than that, Customer Service was good. I never met the manager, but there was no combination done for their cook burning the chicken and under cooking the vegetables messing the order up completely recommendation for this place. Depends on how hungry you are again check your food. So my rating is a one for that I feel as the manager needs to accommodate accordingly not give excuses.

This location has some of the worst service of any restaurant, period. First time here, our server ignored us as we were sat by the host and talked behind the bar top on her phone with her AirPods in, took about 20 minutes of no service for us to just go sit at the bar instead. Got served our drinks in dirty glassware that had lipstick stains on them. Bartender disappeared and never came back after bringing food out - took at least 40 minutes AFTER finishing our meal for anyone to come back to close the tab out. Second time ordering from here - online, car side to go, 2 meals and no drinks, online order says ready at 5:24. Waited in the half empty parking lot with the “I’m here” and location on from 5:20 until 5:40, went inside to see if it was ready and server said at least another 20 minutes. So basically if we didn’t ask then it never would’ve been made in the first place.

Its our first time ordering from Applebee's. We ordered 2 items and paid online costing $13.29 for classic bacon cheeseburger and a $25 for one 2 for 25. Our order was a car side pickup and they did not inform right away that they coudn't complete my order when i parked at the designated spot. When I went inside to pick them up, they said they can't make any burgers and only provided a side (buffalo wings) for one of the orders. The manager said they will refund me for the items that they couldn't make. I waited for a week to give them time for the refund since I thought it might take a while to process. its been 9 days and there's still no refund.

Warning do not go here. My husband and I ate here and the food was disgusting, I got food poisoning. The bread stick was stale, and my food was runny. I told the about it and they lied and said it was always made like that, even though Ive got that dish in the past and it was never made like that. This Applebee's is the woooorrrrrrsssst! Showed up and it looked like it was closed. No one assisted us so we just sat at the bar. Special showed something along the line of mozzarella sticks, but as soon as I asked, they quickly said 'we're out'. Like didn't even care to check. Everyone on staff looked under 21, as well. BTW, there was a worker there, you could tell it was either her day off or she had just gotten off. She was looking ratchet and eating her MOZZARELLA STICKS at the bar. I can go on and on about that place, but you get it. I usually tip well, even if it's mediocre service, but this staff took the cake. I gave a $2 plus tip that amounted to $59 and left a note saying 'Terrible Service'. Get your act together Applebee's!!!

I will never be going to this Applebee's again if I could give negative Stars I would the so-called general manager Kayla stuber is a poor excuse for a manager not only did she throw a fit about making two drinks one was a whiskey and Coke and the other one a perfect margarita according to their menu she was slamming stuff around then she left her drinks on the side took about 10 minutes to get them they were so watered down by the time we got them then when our food came I had ordered a club sandwich as per the menu it says it comes with ham turkey and bacon when I got it it had a slice of ham no bacon no turkey I had asked our server Chris to bring it back he said no problem we'll have him add turkey and bacon he brought it back to me they added one little slice of ham and bacon and tried to tell me that the ham was Turkey I sent it back again my server Chris came back and said oh we're out of Turkey then when I got the bill they refused to take my sandwich off then Kayla the so-called general manager comes back to the store with a young kid behind her a so-called backup and just started screaming at me told me I do this all the time I get the money honey I own this place I'll call the cops I told her please call the cops because she's stealing from us they refuse to take off the sandwich and we still had to pay for food that we did not receive never ever in my 48 years of life have I ever been treated with such disrespect I should have known when I first went in and I had to go grab my own drinks that another lady at the counter said oh it'll be a while it took us a long time to get our drinks it is absolutely disgusting on how somebody can operate a business and say that she is the owner and treat people that way when you are in food you need people to come in and eat but not if they're going to be treated with such disrespect completely disgusting the behavior was just so uncalled for I will be telling everybody not to go to Applebee's

We went here on Father's Day. We had a giftcard and I jokingly told my wife that we better use it before the place closes. She asked if I really wanted to go there, and I said if it isn't too busy we really should use the gift card(it was about 12:45pm). We got there and it was almost empty. Only 2 tables taken, and 2 people at each table. We had a large group of 8 people. It was really cold in the building, almost everyone in my group was freezing. The waitress was nice, that is the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1. It took a really long time to get our food. When it came out one person had a hair in there food, then when they took it back somehow they made a "new plate" in a minute. The person started to eat it anyway, and it was cold. She said something and they did take it off the bill. I really wonder how long this place has left though, being this dead on a Father's day is not a good sign. Again the waitress was good, but the actual place not so much.

Headed here last minute after an AAU basketball game. There was about 18 of us. They were so accommodating and set up the back area. The server was absolutely wonderful. She was very attentive and tried her best to serve our large party. There were a few mishaps but it was understood as she was pretty much serving us on her own. Eventually they had others helping to brings the drinks and food. All in all I was very pleased with my server and the food was better than I expected.

The appetizers were good! Had the wanton tacos and the boneless wings. The main meal was a let down. We did the 2 for $28. The medium rare steak was burnt, as well as the chicken on the cheese chicken pene. My husband was very excited for the new mushroom and Swiss burger, it was forgotten on our original order and had to wait another 30 minutes for it, which came out as the wrong burger. We waited 25 minutes in the waiting area to be seated and nobody even came over to help anybody get seated or even acknowledge that we were there. There was barely anyone seated and waitresses were walking past. We ended up walking out along with multiple other families. Almost every time we order from Applebee's, they get out order wrong. Tonight we ordered 2 entrees. On one they forgot fries and sauce. Went back to get fries and sauce. The entire entree tasted like it was under the heat lamps for a long time. They weren't even busy tonight. Disappointed. Food service has really suffered.

Food was amazing! The service was sadly awful. We had to wait to even get seated and there was only 2 people sitting at the bar and one other table. We were not checked on after getting food and it took forever to even get boxes or to even pay for our bill. Most of the time there was sitting and waiting to get our waitresses attention since they were all sitting and eating.

We went there early Christmas Eve. There was no hostess, no waiting list, and at least 8 people waiting. The only employee we saw said he didn't know what was going on. There was only about six other couples besides my girlfriend and I. My girlfriend's food came out lukewarm. We didn't see our waitress after we ordered until our food arrived 45 minutes later. After we got our food our waitress disappeared again. I needed a refill on soda so I went up to the bar to get it refilled myself. Only to see our waitress scrolling on her phone. She put her phone down to refill my soda and didn't apologize for me getting up for my table. To end the experience I found a hair that was approximately 16 to 18 inches long. The only good thing about this experience was the manager. She surprised me by comping the entire meal.

Applebees in Wsconsin Dells was truly disappointing. Restaurant was not busy...3 other tables had customers. Ordered chicken lime Fiesta. Arrived to the table luke warm and the rice was crunchy. Sent it back and I do not think the waiter was happy. After 45 minutes was served a hot plate of food, not sure if it was just reheated or was made fresh. Two hours later I was sick.....thinking food poisoning. This place needs a manager and help that care about their customers. Although I would never eat at this place again, I must say the Appleton, WI location on W. College Ave. has never disssappointed. Great management and employees that put the customer first.

Really surprised it's still open! I'm a truck driver that gets stuck at a hotel every week. I've ate at this Applebee's once a week for the last four years! Tonight was my last time service is horrible. They all hide in the back by the kitchen hardly check on guests. Food has went down hill drastically.....luckily there is alot of options in the area! Very short staff. The food usually takes forever to come out. The past three times I've tried to eat there, there was a 45+ wait time.

I received an email from the store manager who seemed to be offended by my review, and she was a bit condescending. I told her that I will certainly try the restaurant again and revise my review if appropriate.

We were the first customers of the day. The tables were dirty. Napkins and food under the table. The booth was ripped and tattered. The waitress advised that the heat lamp was broken so food might not come out in a normal order. This was the case three weeks prior when we visited also. I guess there hasn’t been much effort in fixing the heat lamp.
After ordering, the waitress came back and advised they were out of salmon and one of our party would have to order something else. This wasn’t an issue. One person changed their order. A few minuets later she came back and said they were out of another entree and someone again had to make another choice. After a few minuets she came back and said they only had a half order of one of the starters so they would either not bill of for the half order, or let us choose a different starter. We choose a different starter.
When the bill came, it reflected all the original items (at higher prices). They fixed the bill but took an additional 10 minutes trying to sort it out.
The staff were pleasant and respectful but it was laughable the state of the restaurant and food availability -as being the first customers of the day. Managment should be ashamed!!

Lets start with the smell when you first walked in. It hit you hard like really dirty carpet. appetizer platter was bad. lukewarm dip at best tortilla chips stale and rest was pretty nasty. All you could eat boneless wings were cold tasted off and 4 pieces at a time. Coleslaw tasted like it was made a very long time ago. The wait for food was very long but there wasn't a lot of people. Spent over $70, and only thing decent was the sunset punch. We would not be going back.

Was admitted to ER for gastrointestinal distress Both Dr and nurse stated this was no the first time this Week that this has happened . food poisoning was cause and Outagamie Health department was contacted.

We dined out on a slow Friday at 4pm and ended up having the worst service you could imagine. We don’t have crazy high expectations, but our server was clearly not able to handle any tables he was given.

All of our food came out separately, at least 10 minutes apart, one by one - same with the drinks. All were non alcoholic beverages, so waiting on a bartender was not the problem. He never took items away as he passed by the table. Our empty appetizer dish sat there until another staff member removed it. Empty cups remained as well. The server made excuses each time he could tell we were again waiting and noticing his mistakes. The table behind us was having the same issues and gave him quite a hard time, so we weren’t the only ones experiencing this. When it was time to pay, my husband asked for the bill. He said he would go to get it, gave other tables their bills, then came by and grabbed my husbands card without giving us a bill to even look at first. Ironically, we are always okay with this at other restaurants when the service is good. This is the one time we actually wanted a bill to look at since we were concerned most of it could be wrong based upon our experience thus far.

He was clearly new and overwhelmed, but at some point so many issues just aren’t okay. We won’t be returning and we hope the server is able to learn how to do this job better so as to not make dining out a genuinely annoying and unenjoyable experience. We also hope Applebees does a better job of offering appropriate training to servers who clearly are not ready or capable of doing that job.

It's easy to see that Covid played a huge part in lowering the success of this place. The food was overcooked, dry, and undersized. There were plenty of workers, but only 2 or 3 were actually working. We were given our dinners 10 minutes apart from each other, so I had to wait to eat until my boyfriend's dinner was served. The interior and exterior need work, especially the brick wall falling down in the front. Better management would improve a lot of their issues.

This place is really terrible. I wish I would have read the reviews before stopping. We wait over 10 minutes for a waitress to come to our table. The hostess didn't greet us at all just gave us a look as though she hates her job and told us to follow her. We ordered our drinks, 4 waters and a kids lemonade. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks. We were already contemplating leaving after waiting over 10 minutes for a waitress. We get our food 1 dish at a time with at least 15 minutes between each. Let it be known that there was maybe 5 other small tables there at the same time we were. My husband and son both ordered burgers, which were burnt. I don't mean just dark brown either. They were burnt beyond help. Also, has Applebees always served their neighborhood cheeseburger as 1 patty that is just cut in half?? My other son ordered nachos and the beef was so overcooked and burnt (I attached a picture so you can see). I ordered the penne pasta and my chicken was burnt and the noodles and sauce were cold. I don't know what happened to this place, but it is not good!

15 minute wait when there was only a few parties there. Warned to stay away from leaving parties as well saying the kitchen was backed up with out a few parties. Wouldn’t recommend. We ended up leaving after waiting 20 minutes and no hostess.

I had the all you can eat wings. $12 great deal. The garlic parmesan wings were crispy and full of flavor. Each time you get more wings you can change the flavor. My second serving was the honey BBQ. They were loaded with sauce and delicious. The deal also includes all you can eat fries. I had the$5 electric blue margarita which was delicious as well. The waitress was kind and prompt.

Went to have a quick lunch today. And we were not impressed with the service or cleaniness of this location. My fiance wanted the unlimited boneless wings, however they were out of stock. Instead they offered him chicken tenders with sauce on the side. Which is fine, but not the unlimited we were looking for. Also waitress brought out completely wrong sauces from what we ordered. I ordered the oriental chicken salad,(I have ordered this multiple times at other locations) it was the smallest portion, and had chicken on it, not really much of anything else that was suppose to be on it. Our food came out at completely different times. They were out of normal fries which is fine, they offered waffle fries instead. However my daughters didnt come out well after we reiecved our food and were eating already. We had to ask for silverware after they delivered our food and walked away. Overall it felt musty and run down inside. The bathrooms look like they haven't been cleaned in days. Toliet paper, paper towel all over the floor. Toliet seats were filthy, and every single surface in that bathroom looks like it has not been cleaned for weeks. We went at noon, so it's not like the bathrooms were used all day long. Should of been cleaned before they opened. Not impressed with this location at all.

The service was horrible, had a lengthy wait just to order a drink, then 2 of us were served beers in chipped glasses. 2 of us ordered chicken strip salads, the chicken was burnt and the portions were minimal. Again, had to wait a ridiculous amount of time, our waitress was nowhere to be seen, and she only had our table and one other one to take care of. Will never visit this place again!

Held a MeetUp, first time we met and Applebee's was very gracious to our new group. Typically, at other restaurants, they do not appreciate it when you hang out for an extended period of time. Or flat out say they do not want such long stays. ORDER, EAT and LEAVE. Not here! Three hours stay! They were great!!

With regards to the food (for a party of two) the food came out several minutes apart, and all the sauces and seasonings had been left off/out of my meal. This may be explainable if the kitchen was severely understaffed, but in that case, do we really need every restaurant? Let this one close and let the workers work somewhere they aren't overloaded.
