Haven't ate here in years but swung in after a long trip home from Europe. Got the triple appetizer option and went with boneless wings, wonton tacos and pretzel sticks. The pretzels were good but both the chicken wanton tacos and the boneless buffalo wings were room temperature when they arrived at the table. Im willing to try applebees again at some point but it won't be the Janesville location.

We did a 2/$25 deal. Our appetizers came out cold. My bourbon chicken was dry and the shrimp were very undercooked. The waiter couldn’t understand the assignment our burger came with tomatoes when order without and our child’s mean with no dipping sauces. On mothers day my family of 5 with a car seat decided to go to Applebee's first table we were seated at (a both) no problem but one, my baby 5months old was sleeping in till an employee there bumped into to the car seat and he didn't even apologize for it on top of that I wasn't even offered a car seat holder and to put it in more of an aspect where we were seated you cannot have one didn't find that out until I got up to grab a car seat holder when they confronted me about it and told me that. My first thought was why would you place a family of five with a car seat in a booth knowing they might want a car seat holder whitch we did i told them we wanted the car seat holder (especially after what just happened) so we moved tables then the service went downhill I did like our waiter in the beginning but as he got more customers we were excluded we felt also he walk right past us multiple times while we were trying to get his attention to get the check this went on for 10 minutes and my kids were done with there food and starting to act up so my husband was loud with it and asked for the check. To put it bluntly food amazingly good service needs a lot of improving I will not go back do to the incident and service.

Firstly the table and booth we were seated at was very dirty. Large chunks of food visible between seat backs. 6 dirty tables stayed dirty the entire time we were there. Only one girl out of 6 crew members had a nice black uniform and name tag. Our waitress, however, had jeans with a hole in them a grey torn neck sweatshirt. She put her hair up 2 times and never washed her hands. When she came to take our order, she literally sat next to me in the booth to take our order. The food was ok. Frys were cold. Burger was very good. Don't plan on going back.

There were only 4 tables, 2 had food before we ordered. Half our food came out 7 minutes before the rest, and we wanted to eat together. That means some of us ate cold food. When I brought it to their attention they said they weren't sure how to help us. Over all food was not good. Chicken was tough and hard to chew and burger tasted like it was old meat. It will be our first and last time eating there. Bummer it was such a bad experience.

I can’t give any stars really. Went in for dinner with my son at 5:30. Host said about 5-10 min wait. No problem, we will wait. He sat us an said that our waitress Brittany would be with us shortly. We looked over the menu a waited for someone to come a grab our drinks.
2 waitresses walked by us. 2 more tables were sat around us. They were attended to right away. We have been waiting now for 15 mins just for something to get us a drink.
Still waiting, an as I heard the table that sat right next to us had the same waitress, BRITTANY. But hey they received drinks a there order taken. So now we have been waiting 25-30 mins an trying to get the host attention to get someone to our table.
Well now we decided to go some where else to eat dinner. Had great food an excellent service. Do better on customer service.

I don't know what happened but after eating a bacon burger on a lettuce wrap my fiancé has been sick now with stomach issues throwing up ect..for 3 days now. The outward appearance of the burger looked cooked but it was not. The odd thing is most of burger was cooked thoroughly but a section was totally raw! Our waiter was pleasant and understanding. One other oddity was the hostess literally tossed our menus on the table and walked away without saying a word like we had inconvenienced her.
I think we're done with this location. Do Better.

So this is a hit and miss review. They weren't very busy, but the service was pretty slow. The bourbon and shrimp dinner was very good, but the cheeseburger was fairly bland. The boneless chicken appetizer was great, and the buffalo sauce was very tasty. The onion rings were as good as you can get. The men's bathroom rated below expectations. Smelled like a gas station bathroom. This restaurant needs some guidance.
