I was strange because it was noon and not a single person was in there... I now know why! I got a philly steak sandwich and the bun was moldy. Green furry mold. I didnt notice it at first...and I wonder how much of it, I ate!? When I said something, basically all the waitress said is she'll take care of it!? Went on a Saturday night at 6:00 PM said it was about 30 minutes to wait and we said it was fine. We got at our table at 6:25 great our hostess sat us then our waitress came took our drink order and came back with our drinks we didn’t see our waitress again after sitting for about 30 minutes hostess check on us asked if our order was taken we said no she said she would check into it. She then came back and took our order Burgers and fries only we ordered still at 7:40 PM we still did not receive our food or even a refill on our soda. Wave down the waitress and ask for a bill for sodas. She replied your food is almost ready it should be up shortly and I explain we didn’t have time we just needed to pay our bill for soda we had to get going we had to get home before the kids went to bed. Unreal at least they could’ve refilled our sodas as we are waiting there twiddling our thumbs in the top it all off people they came after us got their food before us. Was told this place has terrible food and service, but decided to try appetizers for lunch. Ordered loaded waffle fries. As we were waiting for the food customers at another table said 'F this' and walked out. My gf can't eat meat or onions, she said every time she ordered a salad and asked for NO CHICKEN, or NO ONIONS on her food, without fail they include them EVERY time. Just ordered, through door dash, a steak and shrimp. I opened it and saw what looked much smaller than an 8 oz. I thought it was a tad too small to be an 8 oz as promised through the door dash description. I called once. I couldn't understand whomever answered and then the line went dead. I called again and got Kenzie who was very polite. She transfered me to my cook. When I told him I thought their had been a mistake he answered "nope! That was an 8 oz. I cooked it myself." I was like "oh.... Okay... Just seemed a little small to be an 8 oz.." no response. "okay well... Thank you?" Giving me no resolution or apologies. Even the professionalism was subpar. I've gone to the Neenah Applebee's since I was a child and they've always been great to me and I've always been loyal to them in return, but I do take note of professionalism and this was not it... It's been steadily declining over the years. Now is the first time I've finally reviewed about it.

Did car side tonight after waiting 10 minutes past pickup time I went and found a guy and told him I was here for car side,he said he would check on it ,but never came back out. Started out okay... I asked for a pint but they "accidentally" poured a bigger size. Didn't charge for the larger size but still found it odd. Got our food and then never saw our waitress Kiana again. A table a little ways over waited so long that they actually called the restaurant to tell them they've been waiting for their check for however long. We asked if they were understaffed she said yes but she is waiting on a couple people that were over and hour late. Well they came in during the very slow process of getting a drink and food. The bartender was late as usual and the wait staff well they come in together . I will never come here again. I would advise people not to come here until 99% of the staff are replaced with people who care. You can tell the workers that show up late don’t bust in to help there fellow employees is there until someone will fire them so they can get unemployment. Stay away. Ordering online was great. Once there, the service was AWFUL! I was not greeted at all! Four or five folks walked right pass me. It took a little over 10 minutes for someone to come out of the kitchen to say hi and check on my pick up order. Needless to say, my food was mildly cold by the time I got back to my hotel (4 minutes away).
Additionally, my burger was undercooked. Next visit to Appleton, I'll skip making this a stop. I'm sure I can get a better burger and service elsewhere.

I went in with a family of 8 between 5:30-7:30pm on Feb. 19 and was very disappointed in the service. Our waitress sat us down and got our order, we got our drinks and food, and she didn't come by to check on us at all even though we needed a plate for the baby to eat on and had told her, we didn't get the plate until 20 minutes into the meal. There was a pile of dishes which sat through out meal and she never came by to check on us until the bill. It was a long wait for her to come back to get our credit cards and a long wait to get our credit cards back. When someone did come to clean our plates, upon saying thank you multiple times loudly, the girl never said you're welcome or awknowledged us at all. For a 100 dollar bill between us, we ended up giving only a 5 dollar tip. Service is the most important part of a restaurant, and we did not get that. All of the food was what you would expect of Applebee's, my food was good and no one really had a problem with what they ate. I do not know if I will be coming back again. Very disappointed. If you girls want to make real money, focus on service. Service is more than just bringing the food to the table and giving us a bill.

By the time we were seated, there was only 4 people in the whole restaurant. Who runs a business like this??? I completely understand the shortage of help out there, although this wasn’t the case.

After ordering with Uber Eats, I didn’t receive an item on my order.

The person who answered the phone said “oh that was my bad, I’ll see what I can do.” The manager comes on the phone to tell me to contact Uber and they can refund my item or I can come get it.

I just paid a delivery fee to get an order delivered , why would I come to get something that was missed? Additionally, why would it be Uber’s fault if there is a sticker specifically placed on the bag that should be filled out, but apparently was not that addresses who the order was for, who filled the order, was it checked, and if there is a beverage, again not filled out, just slapped on the bag? Also, the employee literally took fault.

I have worked the service industry for 10 years. I have managed many restaurants and large chains. In my experience, I have drove to peoples houses to ensure I fixed the problem. Small or large, I would ensure the guest was happy with our service rather than lose a customer.

It is alarming to me that in a time where service should be of utmost importance, managers neglect to resolve issues, resulting in the loss of revenue for their store.

I placed an online order at 445pm for pickup at 630. I recently had back surgery and so I'm unable to drive or leave my house at the moment. My husband works third shift so plan was for him to pick up food, eat dinner and head to work. He got there at 625 and wasn't even acknowledged by pick up staff until 715. He then was told they didn't have an order for him and walked away. I called when he got home and gave my order number and still no avail. Aaron said they can remake the order but if since they didn't offer delivery, I was out $35. I told him that good customer service would be remaking the order, refunding the money and having a member of the staff personally deliver it. He said I was being rude and hung up on me. I called back asking for his manager ( of course they aren't working but at least I got a name )and he was in the background saying "just hang up on her, just hang up" to which they did. The entire country is short staffed but if you are in a job where you get paid majority on TIPS, you should probably have a little better service. I'm starting to realize why most Applebees are closing down.

Wait staff was being abused by a couple and I stepped up to say something only to be asked to leave by Applebees staff.

This couple was verbally disrespectful and down right mean to wait staff and it was impacting service to other tables. I voiced concern after I offered to pay for couples meal for them to just leave and was in turn asked to finish up and leave. Wait staff apologized and said appreciated me sticking up for them but apparently disrespectful verbal abuse was better than well paying customer.

We were told that was the menu for the day but come to find out after we ordered that other customers were ordering from the full menu. The food was ok but in the back of my mind was the thought that they microwave as much as they can. Im not sure if that process is still used today, just something I have heard over the past years. Someone in our group ordered steak and most of it went home to be given to the dog as a treat. It was a meh experience overall.

We visited today 2.24.21 and shortly after we ordered my toddler decided we were no longer dining in, haha. The staff quickly converted everything over to take out and in record time got us our food and to go drinks so I could get my daughter home. Thank you!

The overall quality of the food was not very good. The fish was very greasy, the chicken in the salad was dry and rubbery. Well not be back to this particular restaurant. The manager offered a discount next time. Why would I come back to eat sub particular food?

We stopped for a late lunch and were Blessed to be served by Jake. A young man with a wonderful, engaging and efficient character. He accommodated with a smile the request to switch tables due to a chilly draft, enchanted our elderly Scottish hostess and was not even scheduled to work that day! He checked with us to make sure we were enjoying our meals. What a true gentleman - whoever his parents are they should be very proud. Management - he deserves a raise!

So when you spend $45 dollers on dinner for your family you expect to get a good meal. Well we ordered a burger well done. Well as you can see in the picture the burger is rare to medium rare. Also no fries.... Now they tell me they don't know if I can get a refund and have to run it through corporate. I will not be going back here.

Have eaten at this Neenah location several times. I can't complain. The food actually looks like the ads on tv. They taste good also. Not busy like the Appleton location. Would recommend for lunch and/or dinner.
