The staff when we came in was sitting at a table all on their phones. Should of left at that point but was looking forward to the advertised all you can eat riblets, wings, and shrimp. It was 8:20, their website says they are open until 11:00 then they said they are closing at 9:00. They sat us down and then said we would have to be finished by 9:00. Then waited to take our order, when they came and finally took our order said they were out of boneless wings. Then I heard someone else order a vanilla shake, then came back and said that they didn't have vanilla. The temperature in the restaurant was cold, in the 60's ended up just getting some appetizers, but they didn't even get out until 9:00. I would not dine here again, unless under new management.

If I could leave a zero I would! I felt sorry for the 1 staff lady that was working while the 2 others just wondered around. No bartender, cash register didn’t work…they wanted you to download an app and pay. All you can eat boneless wings and we only got one plate and put in for another waited 25 minutes and never got them. Stopped a supposedly would take 25 minutes more. Had to take out bill back twice because they overcharged us. Never did get our side salad and tried to charge us for it so bill went back again. Totally ridiculous! Where’s management!!!!!?????

Honestly, outside of our waiter and their service I can say the manager of the store was very professional I didn’t catch her name but she made it a priority to make sure our food was out in a timely manor and I saw her continually stopping to check in with staff & making sure the store atmosphere was on point. Went to Oskosh Applebees 4/28/24 for a birthday celebration. From the time we were seated to the time the bill came our waitress was rude and could care less if we were there. She never checked on us or offered to get us refills for our drinks. The food was also mediocre (ribs were dry. onion rings were burnt, and potatoes were cold)! When requesting a dessert for the birthday person she stated "I can get him a small Sundae". On 3/30/24 we were at the same place for a birthday celebration and the food was great, so that is why we came back. Orderered boneless wings buffalo sauce cold, cut open wings weren’t fully cooked. Remade sauce hit some were fully cooked some Werner took left over wings to go to cook in oven at home. Burger was good, mashed potatoes needed butter. Server didn’t come to check in had to flag down another server to tell about wings. My ole lady had the chicken hers was cooked good. She gave me her shrimp I would of liked some lime to squeeze on it but server didn’t come back till we were done than when it was time to pay it took forever she didn’t come back my ole lady had to find I think the server was sitting down with employees in the back sounded like they was Arguing. When I got home the chicken made me sick. Tried telling the server when it was time to pay she just said the sauce was cold. I cut into the chicken and was not fully cooked through. Lovely service from the waitress, who looked about 85 years old and still working hard. However, everything else was terrible. I ordered a medium steak, it arrived 1/3 burnt with broccoli that wa s also slightly burned. My mom ordered ribs, they were chewy with very little meat. Mozzarella sticks were fine. While looking around we noticed the place was absolutely filthy. Grimy chair backs, crayons and dirt ground into the wood tables, torn carpet with spilled food, windowsils covered in crumbs, walls smeared and spattered with stuff.

My husband and I are regulars at this Applebee’s and we always have the best service. We tend to sit at the bar almost always have Jasmine waiting on us. Of course we wanted to spend our Christmas eve here and they really have out-done themselves. I have never seen this restaurant so busy and you could tell the 2 servers weren’t expecting it either. Despite this, we got greeted immediately with a huge smile from Jasmine and she already knew what we were drinking. She was decked out in Christmas spirit. Her and the other server were running around. It was crazy how much these two had to do. The bartender was also serving tables, seating people, making drinks for the entire restaurant, and packing up takeout orders all with a smile on her face. The other server had around 12 tables at once and was also seating tables. These two young ladies are very hard workers. The general manager was there but kinda just stood around and watched these girls get slaughtered. I’m just hoping he was helping cook in the back. Usually manager who’s name starts with a V is there when we come in. Very short blonde girl is awesome, kind, and very helpful. These workers need raises! You trained them well! Love this place and was the perfect place to eat the day before Christmas! Almost a second family here. ❤️

The kitchen stopped taking orders shortly after we were told 20 minutes possibly due to to go orders because there were not a lot of people in the restaurant. The only reason I didn't give it a 1 star is because I love the Fiesta Lime Chicken. Well, I did.
It was Veterans Day and I took my DAV husband to Oshkosh Applebee's to eat.
First, the food took about a half-hour to get and even the waitress was wondering why our food wasn't ready earlier. When it did come my husband's beadsticks were missing. When he was almost done with his meal the breadsticks showed up. The waitress said she had to tell the back several times to "put some down". The waitress did give him an extra one which was nice.
Second, my chicken was woody and so awful I couldn't eat it. Since no one came to see how our dinner was, I just put it off my plate and didn't bother.
Third and the worst - There was an employee (I thought he could be the manager) going around and thanking people for their service. My husband said he literally looked right at him, did not approach and walked away???? THAT was the biggest disappointment.
Applebee's has always been my favorite restaurant but after everything put together. I will probably not return.

Very dirty place, the food was terrible, the appetizers came out at the same time as the main course, and the staff seemed like they didn't wanna be there. The new happy hour attracts a lot of the younger population who just come to be loud and drink, and we even overheard a group say they weren't even 21 but never got asked for their ID while they ordered alcohol drinks. It's not a pleasant place to have a nice dinner anymore. Stay away!

One thing that i particularly liked was the restrooms, offered loose paper towel to open the door with and a small trash can located outside the restroom to dispose of the paper towel. I struggle in many restaurant restrooms opening the door with a paper towel and tossing the towel near the trash can hoping I reach it. I've lived in Oshkosh for about 5 years now and today was my second visit here. Stood at the front door for a couple minutes as there was no hostess at the front. Mind you I did stop in just a few minutes after they opened. I everywhere sat
myself at the bar. Someone, I'm assuming the manager, came out and said how can I help you. No smile or upbeat attitude. She assumed I wanted to place a to go order. I corrected her and said I wanted to place an order for there. She went in back and someone else came out and took my order and gave me the total. I told the order is for here. She said she was told it was to go. So she went to the back to let the cooks know that the order was for there, not to go. In the 20-25 minutes I waited for my food to come out I witnessed a few people leave after not being greeted at the door. Yall are losing customers simply by not having someone at the front door or even in the dining area to greet and seat them in a reasonable amount of time. Anyways, food was decent. Service could use some improvement.

I know a first glance, you may see my 5 star rating and be in disbelief. Let me tell you why u gave the rating I did. 1st overall Applebee's is at best a 3.5 star restaurant. However this particular location earned 5 stars and here's why. Yes, there are tons of Applebee's in every city, if not how could one be "Eating Good In the Neighborhood"? This particular restaurant was grossly understaffed upfront when my wife and I visited. The Greeter seated us and suggested an area closer to the yelevisions when I conveyed my interest in viewing the game. After seating us, he warned, "we are understaffed so I will offer an apology in advance for the wait" a few minutes later he comes back, ready to take our order. He checked on us SEVERAL times switched out drinks, etc. And apologized for being understaffed. Honestly, had he not mentioned it, I wouldn't have even known.

Hello , My name is isaac and I came in to apple bees early and I WILL NOT RETURN AGAIN to apples in Oshkosh Wi. I’ve worked in plenty of jobs that involve customer satisfaction and customer service. I want to start off by saying how RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL the waitress was towards my date and I. When it came to order I had a question about the difference between two items on the menu because it didn’t specify the quantity amount in the plate. The waitress was sarcastic, impatient and disrespectful and made me feel dumb not knowing there was 2 amount difference between the plates and it felt embarrassing. It wasn’t a hard question and I was polite. She was short tempered and barely came over to the table. throughout the whole hour and half we didn’t even get asked for drink refills and by then we were just ready to leave because we felt unwelcome and that we weren’t valued at all throughout the dinner. I understand what it’s like to be behind and busy but no matter what I’ve learned is that the guest comes first and shouldn’t ever feel unwelcome or uncomfortable while at your restaurant. If a worker is having a bad day or feeling sick or having personal problems you shouldn’t go into work that day and if you can’t handle a simple question from a guest you shouldn’t work there.

The actual food itself was disappointing too , i got an order of cheese curds for the appetizer and those were phenomenal. But that was the only good part of the visit besides leaving. For my main order I got the chicken tender and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was very watered down and almost couldn’t taste any cheese and the chickens tenders that came with were small and disgusting. I had to ask for 3 boxes because I didn’t want to waste food but there was so much food left over.

Overall I would not recommend eating anything or even dinning into the Oshkosh Applebees. I wasted 50$ and didn’t even get to enjoy sitting there. I wish I could get my refund but I was upset I genuinely just had to get out of there.

I'm from the DC area and I was here for the Air Show. I had one of the best burgers in my entire life at this restaurant, it was amazing. And the fries were well seasoned and crisp. 5 stars!

Went last night first time there, the food wasn't that good and it gave me food poisoning didn't even leave restraunt before throwing up in the bathroom and all night. I got food poisoning realy bad from that almost had to go to er. I called management and let them know I will not come back and didn't want a coupon for more food poisoning. Only good part of that experience was our waiter.

Watered down drinks served by a disinterested waitress. This was not a very happy "Happy Hour" with an awkward mix of music and any sport airing at the time. At half price, the apps weren't horrible, just small. But, again, the drink specials weren't worth half the price.

Food was surprisingly good, seemed healthier than fast food, great value, and online process to place order take out was easy. We tried the ribs they were delicious, chicken nachos, and steak. Kids also liked the boneless wings too!

Not that busy and had plenty of open tables, but waitress wanted to seat us at a booth that still had to be cleared. Then she changed her mind and wanted to put us at a tiny table. When my fiancée asked politely for a booth, she got huffy and short with us and proceeded to place us in a booth that was all unwashed and sticky on the table. Never even ordered, just walked right out after that.

2nd time I've been here in a week wish I would have gone someplace else. Sat & waited 10 mons before anyone even came to the table. Not busy at all. Hostess just played on his phone, waitress was running everywhere not another person around.

Needs major upgrades. Booths felt like I was sitting on a broken board. Employees where just sitting down either playing on there phones or watching TV. At one point we need the waitress make a mixed drink and take it into the kitchen and we heard her say you can't keep ordering drunks while working. (My thought was then why keep making them, your the bartender tell them no.) Food was gross. Like gross gross but couldn't ask for more or less when a drunk chef was making the food. After eating yes we ate it but that's after waiting 40 mins for food. We were hungry. We wanted our check and waited 25 mins for that bc the waitress was playing on her phone.
There was only one waitress that was actually doing her job the whole time. I didn't get her name all I know was she was the only African American young hard working lady there.
Let's do better Applebee's. You might get more business or repeat business if you'd care more about the place and do upgrades and if your employees actually got off there butts and cared about there jobs.

We sat for 20 minutes before a member of our family grabbed a waiter. Not even a glass of water. There was about 10 other people in there that came after us, and were waited on right away, and had their food before our order was even taken. I will never go back.

Waited 10 min just to sit another wait of 10 min for our drink order then about 10 min to get our drinks when we finally got the food the sauces were all ice cold. My wife's food was wrong so had to wait again.. don't know why bit this place has gone downhill and prolly won't be back to this location again.

Unfortunately the overall experience was not what we had hoped for. There was only one server working who basically was the bar tender the hostess the server etc. She tried her best but you could tell it wasn't going well. The food was ok. Not really tasteful or great. I ordered the fiesta lime chicken and absolutely had no fiesta...

Went for lunch did the 2 for $30 and a soup. The soup was cold, our waitress never came to check on us she walked by a lot but never stopped, we had to say excuse me miss.... Applebee's was once a great place to eat. Now it's always empty and the service is not good at all.

Spent most of the time wondering where our waitress was. There was a crowd of employees sitting up at a front table doing stuff on laptops. For a Friday evening the place was dead at 530pm. For such a big place it was obvious that there was only a select few employees actually working. Our waitress seemed annoyed to be there and was very to the point and didn't hang around long 🙄 I don't think we will be back to this location

Aleisha was our server, and she was wonderful. A++ The food was cold and not so good. Spent $50 on 3 meals, and only ate half. Chicken tender breading is flavorless, too tough and dry, and chicken was also dry. Riblets came out cold and smothered in way too much sauce. Fries had good flavor but were cooked in grease that was probably not hot enough and were soggy. Soda was good though... I hadn't been here in several years, and now I remember why.

I had family in from out of state and came in tonight. We arrived at the restaurant and weren’t even greeted when the hosts finally took our name and party number she told us 30 minute wait. Not bad.
Then a gentleman came from the back and told us along with several others waiting that it’s going to be a 30-40 minute wait and we could all leave if that was going or be to long. Then proceeded to ask us who was next. We said we didn’t know who was ahead of us. Then he proceeded to tell us to move back towards the door where other were waiting. Then made the people seated to stand up and move forward. There really wasn’t any room so he then made the off comment that we could just leave or he was about to kick us out.
I was so embarrassed in front of my family and that was so rude. I WISH I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS.

It was a pretty good experience. The waiter recommended the Oriental Chicken Salad as part of the two for $25 deal. The restaurant was nearly empty and the food was hot and fresh. The waiter, Jay, was understanding that my friend had low vision, and stopped by frequently to check up on us. Overall a good experience. Check it out.

Never got seated. We arrived at 1pm there were maybe 6 people in the place we and a separate party waited at the front desk over 10 minutes with no one coming to seat us we left & ate elsewhere. No wonder when I drive by there's no cars in the lot.

Burgers were well done, both hubby and I wanted pink. Husband asked for no lettuce tomato or pickle. It came with everything. Sent it back onions were taken off as well. I did not want fries, got them anyway. Waitress told us it was the manager who was cooking. Either he or she does not know how to read or just ignores what the waitress writes down.
Won't be back anytime soon if ever. Very disappointed.

I have gone there a couple times months apart trying to give them a chay but this place is awful. A couple years ago, they were good. Not sure what happened but I couldn't even make myself eat half my meal this past time. The time before everything was fried out and burned and the time before that it was inedible all together. My son who is 9 asked if we could stop going there. A kid who will basically eat anything asked to not go there anymore so that should tell you something. No wonder most times I drive by there is only like 5 cars or less in the parking lot

Server was the only one for the entire dinning room. Maybe 8 tables and 3 couples at the bar. Bartender seemed annoyed when asked for garnish for the bloody Mary's. Hostess wasn't very pleasant.beong short handed I get but between the bartender, hostes and severe, they just didn't work together. The place wasn't busy at all. I will say the food was good and hot and at the table in a timely manner

Two times in a row I have come here to eat and they told me it would be a 10-20 min wait, both times I had to wait in my car and never got a call telling me my table was ready. When we called to tell them we went somewhere else after waiting for 45+ minutes, they never apologized or even made any comment.
