I ordered a medium well steak and I got it rare. I sent it back and it came back well done, all they did was throw it in the microwave. Rest of my food was cold, restaurant was dirty and not so good waitresses. They were standing around on their phone and tables needed to be cleaned. Will never go back there again!!

Waitress was very good. Food was very good. The tortilla chips were a bit greasy, but edible. The fries were crispy (a first for Applebee's).

But when they started the vacuum cleaner within 8 feet of our booth, we both lost interest in the food. Nothing like the atmosphere of dirty socks to turn your stomach. She started cleaning about 10 feet closer than the picture shows.

The only place without a wait and now I know why! We were seated by a window after the host told us he had to rotate customers between servers (not our business) and I was freezing! Our server was nice but that's about it. Not out going at all! Didn't wait too long for our food which is surprising because the pasta was so overcooked. The meal was mediocre AT BEST! 3/4 of the way through our meal, all we can hear is yelling from the kitchen! But the best part... THE HOST VACUUMED RIGHT NEXT TO US WHEN WE WERE EATING! That was it for me! Manager should have heard that vacuum and stopped it immediately! New management isn't doing that place any better!

Used to have great food. Not for over a decade now. Bad food every time I come. Return every time. Inedible. Tonight was frys so over seasoned after 10 or 12 you couldn't eat any more. Menu says classic frys. No seasoning should be added. Burger was wrong and French onion soup had zero flavor. 85 yr old elderly gentleman I brought also had issues. Burger ordered pink...was well done. Frys the same. We both have hogh blood pressure so this meal was very bad for our health. When you read a menu and it says classic frys you expect classic frys not seasoned frys. I love a good seasoned fry but these were just inedible. Way too over seasoned. No one seems to really care either. I always try to give a restaurant another try after a few yrs but I'm afraid this is my last time for Sheboygan Applebee's. Never again.

When our party of 3 had to wait a good while to be seated at 2:45pm on a Thursday with no other customers waiting, that should have been our first clue. When we were finally seated, it took another 10 minutes to get spoken to by the waitress and her trainee. This doesn't bode well for the promptness of future waitresses. We finally ordered and then had to ask if we would get our appetizer before our meal before we finally got it....spinach artichoke dip and tortilla chips, not something I would take 20 minutes to prepare. I made the poor decision to go to the restroom while I waited. The floors were so sticky that each step was proclaimed with the loud peeling and ripping sound. One toilet had overflowed, one I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole, the third I precariously took my chances with, not knowing how much longer this "quick late lunch" might take. Our meal finally arrived at 4:12pm, just in time for an early dinner! The bourbon mushroom and Swiss burger and garlic green beans were delicious, lucky me. My two dining companions didn't fare as well with the clumpy rice pilaf, heaping pile of tortilla ribbons and tiny tequila lime chicken, or the salt with some fries added and ribletts in search of a meal. They did say that the chicken and ribs were prety good. We were pretty hungry by the time we received our meal, so I shared my burger and they ate what was edible. We were finally checked on by the servers who brought our check by 5pm. Yes, you read that correctly. In case math isn't your thing, that would be 2 hours and 15 minutes from start to finish. We didn't order alcoholic beverages, there weren't many other customers, there were, however, several other people in Applebee's uniforms milling about. I'm not sure what's going on here, but I will say this...if you have a lot of time on your hands, like mediocre food, aren't too hung up on cleanliness, and have the patience of Mother Theresa, then this is the place for you!

The Applebee’s in Sheboygan could use some management help. I ordered ribs the last time there. The ribs were tough and kind of dry. They used to be very good. Something just isn’t right there. My wife’s meal was very good, mine not so good. Th place could use a new makeover and probably more cleaning. I think they are just having a hard time getting good help.

Let's start off with saying, this resturant was alright, not the worst, not the best. It was alright, the waiter I had was definitely awesome. The service was good, the food on the other hand was not fully worth the price nor the taste, the appetizers were alright, the drinks were normal as any other place would be. I ordered a whiskey burger the onion rings on top were very small lightly battered, disappointing how the picture looked compared to how it actually was and came out to be.. The burger also was supposed to have more sauce, but had low amount of sauce, it tasted like a normal unseasonably burger, if you get this in the future, definitely ask for more sauce on the side! Would I come back for this burger? No. The onionrings on the top looked like French onions and tasted like it, definitely was a big let down, also the burger had low seasoning added, tasted like a bland burger with toppings added onto it to hide the bland taste, even the sauce was less than a teaspoon added onto the top of it. Definitely needed more sauce, probably should have had the lettuce on the bottom, with the sauce above the lettuce, to enhance the flavors, but was added ontop, and the lettuce was under the sauce... Sadly, but hopefully they will change how it is made.
Also, The fries were alright, bit drier than most places, some was hard too, and the chicken wings are somewhat alright, but would recommend the ranch with any you choose. The onion rings you get for an appetizer is much much bigger than the ones on the burgers, do not forget this! There is more batter, but it's more flavor, just keep this in mind.
Also yes, the prices for everything was too much for the food given, I went with my family, came out to $3 for a fountain drink, there was 4 of us, that's $12 right there, which is kinda a rip but it's how restaurants are, the overall price was $80 for 2 for $30
And another 2 for $30.
Would I come back?
Probably to try other things besides the burgers, the pasta I never liked cause it tastes like frozen made for some of the things and not full good taste, in my opinion.

Haven't been here in years due to past bad experiences, only went today due to having a gift card. Sad to see only one waitresses working 6+ tables, waited a while for service, but that's not her fault. Ordered drinks, boyfriend's glass had lipstick on it, very gross. But waitresses brought a new one, and I saw her checking the other glasses before use. Thank you to her for being diligent after being informed. Saw the commercial fir all you can eat boneless wings, rubles or shrimp for $14.99 and thought I'd give it a try. First time at this location and was not impressed. The restaurant has seen better days and is need of some updating/renovations. Placed my order and waited over 30 minutes for it to come to the table. Took us an 30 min after being seated to even place our order, mind you there was only about 6 other families/groups there. An hour after arriving we finally got our food, appetizers and drinks still hadn't arrived. It was time to get off the interstate and let the sun finish setting. Applebee's was the easiest to get to so that's where we went even though we have often been disappointed when we lived in MS. This Applebee's was great.

I had the southwest lime chicken and he had the chicken and shrimp scampi skillet. Both meals were plated beautifully and tasted fantastic. Service was a little bit slow but that is because there was just 1 waitress at 4ish on Black Friday. I blame management for that.

Burger was good not great but good. Felt like our food took a long time to be served especially since there were so few people there. My friend really enjoyed her chicken salad. This might be nit-picking but I dropped the wrapper for the napkin, those paper ones. So I am 67 overweight hard to bend over all that, the waitress said she would get it later as she had to sweep up later. Well it bugged me. She could have just as easily bent over and picked it up right away. So it stays there on the floor taunting me. She hadn't picked it up by the end of the meal so I did. When we were seated at 11:50 am we were the only customers. We ordered in about 5 min. Our meals were a salad, southwest chicken bowl and mac & cheese. Our food didn't arrive for 45 min!! In that time two other couples had arrived and were seated. When the waitress brought out the food we were told they were out of the macaroni noodles for the mac & cheese!! Did we want them to use different noodles or order something different? We couldn't believe that we weren't told they didn't have those noodles prior to the other food being brought out!!! She chose to have different noodles. When her mac & cheese was delivered the chicken was delivered on the side as requested. However they didn't come with the honey pepper sauce. When we were finally able to flag down the waitress (she wasn't visible in the dining area most of the time) we asked about the sauce. Her response was to ask if we really wanted it. Yes we did. After another 5 min she brought some out. We were still eating and she tried to give us boxes. I told her when we were finished eating she could bring us boxes. I haven't eaten in this particular restaurant for some time and I can see why the restaurant was empty when we arrived. I would suggest that you find some place different to eat - especially if you want your food in a reasonable time.

When my family walked in waitstaff was sitting at the bar swearing while telling stories, our waitress was extremely rude to the rest of the wait staff, yelling and swearing at the cook as well as slamming plates down and swearing while walking through the dining room. It's gone to hell. Frequently closed altogether, closing early, or sometimes just pick up only. Can't seem to keep the employees longer than a week or so. Miss having half price appetizers but when you refuse to do half apps for pick up when you are only offering pick up, that leaves me SOL. Recent times I've attempted to go, understandanly incredibly long wait times since there's like 2 or 3 employees running the whole place.
Just pay your servers more so that they actually work here/afford to live and you can open, it's not that hard.

Decided to go out and get dinner with the other half and it all started off great, walked in and got seated right away, ordered two sodas and a captain and coke. The sodas were well sodas, but the mixed drink tasted like soda and water not a mixed drink. We ordered the beloved spinach and artichoke dip they gave us the smallest dish and it was a 1/4 full. We then order our meals, a 6oz steak (med rare) and the enchilada burger. When the waitress came with our food we also asked for another bowl of dip because the first bowl was so small we didn’t even use half the chips they gave us. As we start getting into our meals I pick up the burger and grease pours out of it like a water fall after a heavy storm. Look across the table to the stare of dissatisfaction, look down at the steak and it’s no where near med rare, they took the steak and seared it on both sides for a second and slapped it on the plate. 15mins waiting for bowl of dip and it comes to the table cold. I’ve had better burgers at McDonald’s and I cannot stand McDonald’s. Never returning to another Applebees ever. This isn’t the first bad experience and I’ve gone back to give second chances at multiple locations.

Well…The hunny and I were becoming impressed with our experience for once and then it happened…We were sat right away, placed an appetizer, got it back right away for it to be the smallest bowl of spinach dip, a quart full. There has been 3 tables the whole time we’ve been here (Almost an hour and a half). Boyfriend order a steak cooked medium, came out medium rare, my daughter ordered a CHEESEburger which didn't have the cheese and I order three cheese penne WITHOUT tomatoes came with a pile of tomatoes on it. Absolutely disgusting. I’ve never been in a restaurant as dirty as this. Started with the doors and windows, dust/food crumbs and drinks spilled on windowsills and walls (clearly stuck on for months), food and straws in booth cracks, rips in booth cushions, food and condiments covered the salt and pepper shakers, floors clearly not vacuumed or cleaned for days. Tap beer we extremely flat and food, well thankfully that had flavor, but clearly frozen and they did not listens to how we wanted our burgers built. There were 2 waitresses and the manager taking care of the entire dinning area and bar. Definitely understaffed but this place needs more than additional staff on hand. They were every unprofessional, our waiter was high and took our order then went home. Nobody else wanted to serve us and we were the only black people in the restaurant and they ignored us and just kept walking past us. This was by far the worst experience ever and I don’t recommend this spot

Well where do I begin.....don't waste your time or money. Bf and I decided to do date night on a non-date night. Was planning Texas Roadhouse but when arrive parking lot was full so went to Applebee's. And it begins.......1st, hostess who seated us told bf not to step on olive on floor yet all employees thru after never cleaned it up. 2nd, when you know ppl in bartending and bf orders a margarita 🍹 and it's served in martini glass. Not to mention being charged for a margarita. It's been few yrs since there last and it's honestly going to be my last ever! Had heard business was going down hill......well you not a kiddin, that's an understatement. Bf made comment, cuz I like the fancy like country song by Walker Hayes, "Well idk about an oreo shake for date night but I'll never bring her back if I wanna keep her!"

We waited 20 minutes without anyone coming to even offer us a glass of water. They only seemed to care when we were packing up to leave. Very unprofessional too. Waitress was complaining to the bartender saying she tried to talk to us but we sent her away when no one came after we were seated.

I order 3 plates of hot wings the waitress told me to pick the flavor soon as I picked the flavor she told me I can only pick one flavor of wings I told her I come here a lot I order the same all the time why I can't choose what I want and why is it different flavor🤔 of sauce chicken came out no sauce they put it in a cup bourbon 🍗 with 🍤 taste like soap under cooked drink was not made correct. Food was nasty. And all the waitress could say was we short of staff like what me as a customer care all I care about my hard work dollar I had to pay for nasty food and you shouldn't even make that as a excuse on why thing's was taste like soap in under cooked.

Won't go back. One of our dishes was incomplete and the other was so salty. Was told they had no diet soda and no bottled beer but then just brought a $5.00 Corona Light and was told "hope you like Corona". It was so cold in there everyone had to eat with their coats on.

*ZERO STARS* If I could give them a zero I would, they deserve nothing more. My friends and I visited the Applebee's in Sheboygan, WI. we all ordered food we were comfortable with and looking forward to. The only thing of our entire meal that was decent were the fountain drinks. My shake was brought to me spilling out of my cup leaking all down the sides. My fries were burnt. My chicken had much too much pepper, and my pasta tasted gross. Our steak was rare when we asked for done, there wasn't seasoning on it, and there was a problem with the mashed potatoes. Our last was wonton tacos which are usually a hit but were burnt and had too much sauce on them. I was honest with my wait staff that none of us liked the food, and she was quick to bring her manager for us. That was very nice of her, except the manager was completely disrespectful. He cut me off while I was talking, told me what I "should have done," and was very condescending and defensive. This is not how you work with people, especially the ones paying for your paycheck. I haven't had worse service in years, including pre pandemic. I am also HOH/Deaf with a service dog and am wondering if that played a part in our gross mistreatment. I advise anyone to grab the taco bell next door or the noodles across the street. Do not dine in at this place, especially if you are Queer or disabled

For starters some girl came from a booth with a coat on to seat us and said "I'm not even in uniform and I have to do my job" while giving the people at her table the finger. We were shown our table and I went to the restroom. There was so much urine on the floor that my feet stuck to it. Got back to our table and waited 5 minutes before anyone asked what we wanted to drink
Then waited forever for drinks while people that came in after us got their drinks. Ordered our food and have been waiting for a while and still no food yet
Update: food finally came now and mine was the wrong meal. Waitress seemed unbothered about it. All she could say was the cook read it wrong and will have it out when it's done. Definitely will be contacting corporate about this.

It's Applebee's, you're not expecting a great review. Their food is mostly edible. The service is so much worse with being short staffed, and you'll feel like you're in the movie "waiting" with the vibe and looks you'll receive. Add in all few drunks at the bar screaming at the TV for whatever game they're watching and boom, Applebee's.

Applebee's use to be a nice place to go with my wife or with a group of friends. We have gone there many times and have been disappointed with the food and service but the last time we had gone, our waitress, who probably should never have filled out an application there, decided she would write in her own tip. It's not like I didn't tip her but it was not 20%. I happen to notice it while doing my bills a week later. Now that is theft. I decide what the tip will be as a customer, not the employee. I notified the manager, who told me there have been other complaints about that individual doing the same thing to other people. Let's just say that this was the last chance I was going to give Applebee's.

Went for the first time since prior to the pandemic. Our first clue should have been that there were only 5 cars in the lot at 5:30pm. The restaurant was filthy. The put everyone in the same area so they wouldn't have to clean the other areas. Our waitress was very kind but slow. We decided just to get appetizers and go somewhere else for our meals. A different waitress brought out our drinks. No straws or napkins. That same waitress brought out our appetizers. No napkins or silverware. Very dissatisfying. We will not return.
