We were traveling and stopped here because of the good reviews. We loved this place. The place was clean, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We sat by the bar and Allora waited on us. Allora was so sweet!!! She treated all the customers like family and was so attentive to everyone's needs/requests. We've been looking for a decent restaurant in Menominee/Marinette and we finally found it! In a big but unassuming and not-well-identified building, this place is clean, friendly and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Must be a well-kept neighborhood secret! Cold beer with a frosty mug and fried fish (blue gill for him and walleye for me) make for a great night! Fantastic German potato salad and maybe the best baked potato I've had in a while. This is a must-stop on our next time through Marinette!

A great find right off the water . It says Edgewater on the big sign but inside is APPLEJACKS. This place is an awesome spot for value and great chicken and fish. We had chicken wings , broasted chicken , perch and cheese curds. Broasted chicken was juicy and tender , some of the best I’ve had. The chicken wings were also top notch and the Perch was fresh from the lake . All for very low prices . It is worth the very little drive off of the main road. The staff was overly friendly and helped out well. I can’t recommend this place enough

went with a group and called ahead. Said they were still serving food for 30 min (keep in mind we called outside of the place) anyways we walked in and the waitress said “you know we close in 30 min” we said “we know we called ahead” she asked who we talked to and we said we didn’t get a name. She then again said “well we close in 30 min and I’d like to get out of here” we felt so embarrassed. We asked if she would like us to leave and she said “get quick food so I can leave” rolled her eyes and asked what drinks we wanted.
UPDATE: The owner called me back and handled this situation so well and made our group feel so much better. Will try going back again!

Cool bar and grill. Two bars and tons of dining room.I went for lunch on Friday and got the walleye and French fries. Both very good. Coleslaw is VERY good. Fish is served with baked beans. I’m from Green Bay and I guess it’s customary to have them in this area which was unique for me. All in all it is a nice establishment with a small town feel where a lot of people give you that hey tell your folks I says hi feel. Great Wisconsin/Midwest stop!

Perch Dinner for $16.95 now has only 2 butterfly fillets rather than 3 and although fried perfectly it was slightly fishy and had a few small bones. Very disappointed and will not be returning for fish. Sides were just okay. Waitress felt I needed to know she’d had a Reuben with sauerkraut which was going to be gassy. Call me a prude, but I am not interested in anyone’s gastrointestinal issues at anytime much less from a restaurant server. Sorry I ate here.

Tried a virgin Bloody Mary. It wasn’t bad but nothing extraordinary. EXCELLENT food. I had the Jack Burger which was a hamburger and a sausage Pattie with jack cheese and Jack sauce. Phenomenal burger and fries were cooked perfectly. My friend had a Reuben and said “it was good.” Not a bad place to stop after visiting the town next door.

Updating my post. I was here recently on a Thursday to find out that Apple Jacks helps sponsor this $5 lunch for senior citizens in conjunction with the Marinette County Elderly Services. The atmosphere was amazing. It was great to see everyone greet the seniors and the seniors enjoying this lovely meal. What a great way to give back to the community and help those in need!! The staff was welcoming, the seniors had a great time. The lunches looked great. This is by far my favorite restaurant when I visit Marinette. The perch I had was wonderful!! I encourage everyone to stop by and support this business. You will not be disappointed!! Great food. Grilled chicken salad was excellent as was the chicken and perch and taco salad. We had a party of 7 and they had our reservation ready for us when we arrived. Highly recommend. Always friendly and great service.

The place is nicely decorated. I enjoyed the large tables and the bar looked well kept. The only downfall was the waitresses were constantly cussing and talking about drama behind us and forgetting our sauce that comes with the sandwich. We got the check before we were even halfway done and got told no rush. That is when I finally got the opportunity to ask for the Ajou sauce that comes with the sandwich. The fries were fantastic! The food was great once I got my sauce that is. Overall, the food was good. The service was not that great for the waitress we got there were three waitresses in total and two of them were behind us the older ladys ,gossiping the whole time. As younger one was the only one I seen moving back-and-forth. The young one was the one who actually brought us our food.

The service is friendly if a bit... off-color. It's typical Wisconsin bar decor with furnishings from the 90s- dark, but clean and serviceable.

The food is inconsistent. I've been here for breakfast 3 times; twice it was disappointing, and the third time it was passable. Definitely a lot of prepackaged, frozen foods being cooked by someone with no real skill in the kitchen.

Was 5 stars but my first bad review. Ordered a triple decker club and it did not come with mayo on it.
