Second time at the Appleton Beer Factory and had a phenomenal experience. Quick service and amazing food. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich is not unbelievably spicy but had a good kick, with a super juicy thigh. And the cucumber salad with veggies fresh from the garden was incredible. My husband had a great burger and our beers were great! Can’t recommend enough.

There is absolutely no organizational system to order a drink during mile of music. It was chaos, and truly whoever was yelling the loudest at the bar, which was 3 people deep at all times. We had worked our way up to seats at the bar, waited a half hour holding my card out the entire time and never got a bartender’s attention to order a tap beer before we just decided to leave. The bartenders were moving and working hard, but there was no way three people could keep up with what was going on. If you are going to fill a bar to capacity, have staff and systems to accommodate.

Horrible music venue. Went to 3 shows at mile of music. Had to leave all of them. Earplugs didn't even help. The room is entirely made of metal and concrete so it's the loudest sharpest echo filled music you've ever heard. Can't even make out a single word with all the lingering noise

My husband and I chose Appleton Beer Factory for the sole purpose of utilizing one of our Wisconsin Brewdeck cards. Street parking was as expected of Appleton on a Saturday evening. The front is handicap accessible. We sat at the bar. Ambiance, including house music, was pleasant. Service was prompt and well-timed. Coke products are served here.
Food-wise, my husband ordered the Reuben with fries and I had the Shrimp Tacos with chips and salsa as a side. Husband reported back with great reviews. My shrimp tacos were delicious, but rather messy. They tend to fall apart a bit, and the insides fell on to my plate. No big deal. The chips I got as a side worked great to clean up the shrimp taco salsa now on my plate.
I'd say this was a win, and we will be back again.

P.s. the pickle in my photo was served with my husband's Reuben and he donated it to me. My plate had a lime wedge included.

Although, the team at ABF was hosting a pretty rad rock and roll show with Aaron Lee Trasjan, they took amazing care of our group and, as always, made us fell welcomed and served us well. On behalf of all of us, thanks for letting us hang out last night and taking great care of us! Oh yeah… my wife LOVED the Salmon Salad and alternating between Juicy McJuiceFace and Iron Fireman worked perfect for me!

Server/Bar Tender, Aleece, was fantastic! The music is always fun with enough room to sit or stand. The food was great! Best burger (Hangover Burger- St Patty's Day special) in a lifetime! Everything was amazing here, food, drinks, service. Immediately wanted to plan my next trip to try more. Bartender had great recommendations, really enjoyed the Almond Delight. Poutine was THE BEST I've had, and it was such a huge serving I regret also ordering an entree. Reuben was also pretty amazing, was honestly a little better heated up at home with extra kraut and 1000 island. Hot and Smokey burger was also great. We were attacked by fruit flies our whole time eating at the bar which was a bit annoying. Overall pretty great place and would give 4.5 stars if I could!

I was in from PA back in October so of course I had to their pootang. It was fries, cheese, cheese curds bacon and gravy. I enjoyed the cider and the orchestra which played Sweet Caroline. Appleton Beer Factory has been one of my favorite microbreweries since they opened in my home town, but last night they truly impressed me!

I ordered the salmon salad and specified that I wanted the salmon medium rare. Not only did the chef prepare it perfectly, but they also used the opportunity to teach their chef in training how to prepare it medium rare and how to tell the doneness of the salmon from how it flakes.

Far too often cooks don't understand that salmon is more like a steak than it is to a pan fish or white fish so I greatly appreciate ABFs chef for sharing their knowledge!

I was also happy to see their partnership with McFleishman's, which is another fabulous microbrewery that's right around the corner.

The Beer selection here is always good with tap bar and takeaway options. They host a ton of fun community events on weekends like live music or concerts. I love the fox valley roots festival that they have put on the last few years. They offer games to play at the bar and dine in food as well. They got 4 stars from me because their chicken tenders basket was not to my liking and it was honestly a little disappointing. They should call it a grilled chicken basket rather than tenders as they are not breaded at all, just pieces of grilled chicken. Overall, an awesome community partner with great beer and well worth a visit.

Stopped in for a beer and an app. Upon arrival the HVAC system was down and it was very cold in there . The beer selections were “ok” . They were out of certain brews but the board advertising these brews didn’t indicate it . The cold ipa was very good and the almond ale was also very good . The food we were super bummed out. We ordered a bacon poutine and upon arrival to us it looked very good, but it tasted like leftovers . It definitely didn’t have the fresh taste. The cheese curds they use on this dish tasted freezer burnt, and the fries aren’t that great. We did tell the bartender that are food wasn’t great and honestly we only attempted to eat because we were very hungry and it was 13.00. No comps were offered . We ate about 3/4 of it and left the rest; we filled a void in our stomach but didn’t feel satisfied about it . Service was good, but not sure if we’ll return or not. It didn’t wow us that much.

We recently held our wedding rehearsal dinner with about 30 people at ABF and had a wonderful time. Mark was so easy to work with, the food and beers were delicious, and the private room with the large beer vats was the perfect size and a cool setting for our party. We had a slight date mixup (totally on my part) and their team was so accommodating and helped us resolve the mixup like it never happened.

We've enjoyed frequenting Appleton Beer Factory. ABF knows how to make delicious beers, tasty food and host awesome musicians. Their beers are flavorful, well-balanced and easy to drink. They have great summer beers with Florida Man and Juicy McJuiceface being our favorites. We also enjoy the Iron Fireman, Oktoberfest and Shadow Hammer. They also have really tasty food, whether you're looking for a classy salad, burgers, or Ouisconsin Poutine. They lean into some taco options and they do it well. Their live music offerings have been great and ABF has begun separating themselves as the best year-round live music venue in the Appleton area. We stop in for dinner and a beer and stay for a show and a fun night... and back again for Sunday brunch, lol.

Open space with a variety of seating. They had some interesting beer history books to flip through. Ordered the cherry lambic and millhand Hefeweizen. The cherry had an unpleasant biting flavor, and the bartender admitted the keg was excessively carbonated which explained the pints of foam he initially poured. Nice, casual and clean place. We ordered a burger and a sandwich, and both were excellent. They didn't skimp on size or flavor. Beer selection was very nice.

I live in Oshkosh, but I happily drive to Appleton to visit ABF. I love the uniqueness of their beers - I’m especially loving the Say Hi Chai, a porter infused with vanilla chai tea. With the health benefits of chai, I like to joke it’s a health drink. ;-) Their food is amazing too, and if you’re obsessed with fries like me, their housemade fries will definitely satisfy the spud-lover in you. I recently attended a comedy night and honestly, I haven’t laughed that hard in a really long time - what an awesome line-up! I’ve enjoyed all the events they’ve put on and can’t wait to attend more shows as pandemic restrictions lift. Oh, and the staff there are super chill, engaging and fun to chat with, especially after a couple (delicious) beers in!

Great food, great beer, great service! We had fish tacos and a black and blue burger. Awesome chips and slaw. When we posted to FB, so many different friends chimed in that it was a favorite, multiple generations! Will make the hour drive again.

We had a great time - first time here. First, the food was delicious. We ordered steak tacos with the fries and cheese curds as our appetizer. Way better than i expected.

The music was awesome! Cool venue. Nice sound. I actually went to see Salmon Run and didn't realize there were three performances. Christopher Gold also performed and he was fantastic. I'm definitely going to follow him and see him again.

I would definitely recommend this place and these musicians!

We had our rehearsal dinner for our wedding at Appleton Beer Factory and it was perfect. We worked with Stephen and he was incredible to work with. He took the time to answer all my questions. The food and service during our event were fantastic. Very easy to work with for making sure guest with food allergies were accommodated as well. We received many compliments from our guests. Highly recommend if you are looking for a more laid back rehearsal dinner option.

We stopped here yesterday hoping to get good burgers and a couple of beers. The beers were good, but the wait for our food took forever! We almost walked out because the wait for food was way too long. When we got our food the burgers weren't even that great. My partner's was cooked medium rare like we ordered but mine was way overcooked. We heard other tables asking when their food was coming as well. It was weird because they had plenty of waitstaff because at least 3 of them came to our table to ask of we wanted anything. Won't be returning back to this restaurant.

This was my second time here, and it did not go as well as the first. Did not exactly get what I ordered as far as taco selection and side, but food was good and so was the beer. Had a minor misunderstanding at checkout, but that was resolved.

steak tacos were dry, the meat had zero flavor and the french onion soup was so salty that i couldn’t even eat it. the fries were not fresh and looked really sad and burnt. i’m serious - the food was awful! i will say this though : the wings were very good * chefs kiss *

Service was poor - please do better!

we came in when the traffic was slow. waiter did not look to be overwhelmed with guests and was always seen mingling with people at the bar when we were ready to order food or another drink. i had to flag him down once and when we finished our food - flagged him again for our check. was not friendly and never came back to our table to ask about the food or offer anything else.

Beer was tasty and the drinks were good, not great but good. i will def be back for the wings!

i worked at titletown brewing company in green bay before they closed and serving our guests and making sure each person that came in had a wonderful experience was my top priority! do better next time, appleton beer factory.
