We stopped on a Sunday afternoon. I guess they generally aren't open on Sundays but are working on expanding their hours. It was a beautiful October day and it was rather busy. They had 1 guy out front and 1 cook!
They did a really good job keeping up. The menu was limited. We had a pizza and it was very good. The people sitting next to us go there quite often and said all their food is good. Really nice place.

This is fun spot with solid food, great beer, a nice atmosphere inside and out, and nice people. We sat outside and there were plenty of clean tables where you could have some privacy or form a large group. The inside was a rustic cottage style, but modern, clean and organized. Our server, Alex, was great: helpful and full of personality. Well done. Food was good - Walleye sandwich and a pizza. Just casual and good. The Musky Spit brown ale was excellent. Lots of interesting beers and a great wine selection. Highly recommended.

A place that will have you wanting to come back for more! From the relaxed vibe on the patio to the fresh and flavorful food, this is simply a restaurant that makes you feel like a friend walking through the door.

Not as good as all the reviews state. Prime rib sandwich had no flavor. Ajus no flavor. Service was good. Got my food quick but got the impression that I was to hurry up,eat and get out of here so the next people could sit down. Never got asked for another beer wife never got asked for another glass of wine. She basically had to hold here glass up in the air to get there attention for a second glass. Just was not satisfied with the money I spent and quality of food I received.

The building was beautiful. Don't be fooled by that. Food was bland at best. I ordered the prime rib "Chicago "style. My friend had the prime rib pizza. We had the artichoke dip for starter. The portion of meat was very good, but taste was blah. It came with potato chips(?). Was not offered an alternative. This was $21!. Best part of meal was the pickle. The Chicago style was cheddar cheese(why not provolone) and gardeneir(?). My friends pizza $18 was really salty. Again, blah. She is an exceptional cook and said it missed on every point in flavor. The artichoke dip $14 was good. Thus i gave it 2 stars. The house beer, musky spit was good as long as it was cold. The waiter was adequate. He sounded and acted as if he didn't want to be there. Just an overall cold- non-human feeling.

Haven't been here for a few years. Seems to be a new owner? Greeted with a sigh from the hostess as if she was put out we came in? Then we asked for water and we were pointed to a jug like they use on sporting event sidelines to get our own water out of paper cups. And watched it being filled with a garden hose??? Very, very odd? I ordered a prime rib sandwich which was flavorless and honestly most likely a lower quality deli roast beef. Ruffle potato chips. Daughter order a "brick oven" pizza, Margherita style. Crust was clearly not homemade, sauce was canned and definitely not cooked in a brick oven?? Not good. The server was fine but he picked up dirty plates from one table and then set them on our table to check us out on his ipad???? Gross. Won't be back anytime soon. Needs a food menu overhaul. Really boring and tasteless.

Stopped in after an event downtown . There were at least 6 or 7 people behind the bar and around the kitchen. Not one person greeted us , so we sat ourselves. I had the opportunity to visit Aqualand for dinner with friends. The place was decorated in a very cozy Northwoods atmosphere. They had a wide variety of beers and special drinks. The bar tender was very knowledgeable of them and extremely helpful in picking the choice that suites you. The peach mango cider was THE best!! Must try! The server was so awesome.
