We came up to milwaukee from chicago! We’ve stayed at a hotel around the corner from here. As we were heading out someone recommended this place because it had the best lo mein theyve ever had. Well we went to test it and they were right!! I compared the food to china town in Chicago, and this place is up there with some of the best asian food ive ever had.

Egg rolls tuff and overcooked, bland inside. Egg fu young tasted strangely bland. Crab rangoon was tasty on the inside but we could barely chew thru the outside.

Awful. I do not recommend. The staff is rude and unable to comprehend orders. They messed up my order and were very rude and unapologetic about it. I was yelled at and basically accused of lying about what I ordered. This is unacceptable behavior given the food is overpriced. I’m from Seattle and we have hundreds of great Asian restaurants to choose from. On my frequent trips to Milwaukee I rarely go for Asian because one usually gets some heavily Americanized Asian dishes that I don’t prefer. My mom wanted to go here and the strip mall location didn’t seem promising but I don’t say no to my mom. I was very pleasantly surprised that it was very fresh vegetables rapidly stir fried with tender beef in a perfect marinade and served piping hot. The menu choices are pretty standard fare. While you can dine in (we did) there’s only two tables and they clearly prefer takeout (even though we dined in it was served takeout). Asian Chef is a refreshing alternative to the typical canned vegetables fake Asian usually seen around here.

The first time I ordered delivery, I waited half hour past my expected delivery time before I was contacted to tell me that there was no driver. It was a struggle to then get a refund. We decided to try again. Food was delivered about 20 minutes later than expected but things happen. The egg rolls were TINY for the price. All of the food was super bland, no flavor. I have ordered food from here on several occasions and each time has been great. I was able to order my food and have it ready by the time I arrived to pick it up. The staff are friendly and the food is amazing. I like that they are a protective barrier in place for the staff and customers. I love their steamed chicken dumplings, and chicken rice soup. The pictures of the food items on the web site DO NOT represent what is actually served! The picture of the Sweet and Sour Chicken implies that it is prepared with pineapple and red pepper. The Chinese restaurants I’ve been to don’t give enough food. So, I ordered two chef specialties General Tso’s chicken, instead of one to share with my hubby. BIG mistake! Lol Their portions are massive! We didn’t even make a dent in it!

For the meal, it was good. However, there wasn’t any spice to it. Usually General Tso’s is sweet and spicy. Every place is different though. Next time, I’ll make sure I ask for extra spice.
Needless to say, I’ll be making this my go-to Chinese take-out restaurant.

We lived in Brookfield for many years and this was our place when we wanted Chinese food at a reasonable price and fast. The food was always exceptionally good and ready within 20 min of ordering. The restaurant is small but very clean with limited seating arrangements. We mostly did take outs but we ate there many times as well. Friendly staff and can’t go wrong if you live in Brookfield and crave for Chinese food.

Quick, clean and friendly. I unexpectedly stopped while on a search for some take out. The lit overhead menu confirmed in me I craved the Happy Family bowl. Thought Steamed Broccoli was a simple enough order, but I guess not. It was entirely overcooked to the point it melted in my mouth! I returned for a new order, but unfortunately the clerk could not understand me. She recooked it. I watched her add Salt to the STEAMED Broccoli I ordered from the HEALTHY section of the menu.
