Amazing course! Very cheap for the value! A medium sized practice green. The front nine forces you to lay up and be accurate with short holes and narrow fairways. Lots of hills, with many varying distance appraoch shots. A few bunkers, more than a few water hazards and a couple long drives required to cover some areas, but they have alternate tee placements if you choose to skip the carrys. A nice pro shop with fair priced clothing also. This should be on your bucketlist when in Northeast Wisconsin.

This was my first time being able to play at Autumn Ridge. The course was in good shape considering the lack of rain recently. Unfortunately nothing else was good about this day.

We had a 1:10 tee time. We finished over 4 and a half hours later after skipping 2 holes. After the very first hole we waited for about 10 minutes, and it continued to back up more and more. At one point there were 3 groups waiting on the same hole.

At the time we were unable to tell if there were just slow groups or if the course was overbooked. We were finally able to see that 2 groups ahead of us were extremely slow, this being the 14th hole. We skipped both and finished our round.

I understand people play slow and they should have let everyone pass, but at some point the course needs to realize that the course is so backed up nobody is moving.

It was an extremely frustrating day and we were unable to really enjoy the course while waiting 10+ minutes a hole.

I wish I could say I would be back to give it another chance, but there are too many nice courses to play to warrant another trip.

We got to play Autumn Ridge twice on our vacation near Manitowoc, WI. This one is worth going out of your way for! This is a beautiful course with challenging holes. Bring your patience and at least a mulligan or two. The condition of the course in late June is great! Fairways like carpet, tee boxes that give a great effort and greens that are well maintained although suffering the same fate as every course post-COVID ( has repairing a ball mark gone out of style?)

I played Autumn Ridge yesterday for the first time and really enjoyed it. The course -- with its hills, woods and wetlands -- is beautiful and well maintained. The terrain is really challenging; the layout prioritizes accuracy over distance (despite several places where a long carry is still needed from the middle tees), and the greens are fast. Given the elevation changes, sloping fairways, and doglegs, there are several holes with blind shots -- and things I wished I'd known prior to club selection despite picking up a course guide in the clubhouse. The rates are really reasonable for the quality of this course -- and were matched by the lunch in the clubhouse afterwards. Not everyone will appreciate this course but I look forward to playing it again soon.

Not my favorite layout. Seemed like every hole was a dogleg. One par 5 the tee shot needed an iron as the dogleg was only about 180-200 yards out. Then you are left with 300+ yards to the green! Personally I like to be able to hit driver off the tee, especially on par 5's. I like trying to get home in 2 shots on a par 5, if possible.
It was scenic and in fairly good shape though.

Bring a mountain goat as your sherpa, I mean caddy. Make sure that goat has x-ray vision. Heck, get Clark Kent as part of your foursome and definitely make sure Jesus is available for the round. I'm not sure who should round out your group but it's a toss up between Loki and the Joker. We golf a lot. Various courses. It pains me to steer someone away from a small business but truly you will walk away from a round here feeling like the biggest fool that ever walked the planet, with only a review that no one will ever read as your meager consolation. I have witnessed Hell today and it is taking a day off of work with beautiful weather to play the most ridiculous course ever imagined. One star for the twilight zone experience of how well maintained this course is.

It's a quirky golf course. Many holes have unique layouts. Some greens are difficult to hold because of grading toward hazards.

Very well maintained. Not the longest course, but still very challenging. Some tee shots are very tight, keep driver in the bag. Not too many blind shots, but also not a lot of flat lies. Greens roll true and fast. Would take a few times to play to your handicap for sure. Expect to shoot 3-4 shots over what you usually shoot at this track.
