I gotta say, I never really was a huge fan of Mexican food. My daughter wanted to go so I took her. I ordered a seafood dish and it was amazing. The staff is awesome and it’s a really cool place. The only downfall is all the chips and salsa a person eats before their meal comes out. 😁 You definitely don’t leave hungry from this place. I’ll definitely go back.

One of my coworkers recommended this spot so I figured I would check it out. I ordered the poblano burrito and they also give you complimentary chips and salsa. The chips and salsa were excellent and the burrito was decent! The burrito looks big but it isn’t packed super full and could have used a little more steak, onions, etc.. However, after tax and tip, the total was around $20 so it wasn’t super expensive. The cheese sauce was delicious and you get a nice heat from the poblano peppers too. I didn't catch my waiters name but he did a great job and was friendly so bonus points for good service.

The only thing I wasn’t thrilled about was they added taco meat to the burrito even though it doesn’t call for it on the menu. I thought maybe it was just a mistake at first but then noticed it was throughout most of the burrito. If you are going to add filler to the burrito, it should probably be something that is included in the description of the item. I think the presentation could've been tightened up just a little bit more too.

Food is great love it for myself. However they are not very good with food allergies, we went with people that needed gluten free and they came out with wheat tortillas. It’s would be nice if they would have more options for gluten free and have a dedicated fryer for their chips. So many people are gluten-free now I wish this restaurant would take into consideration for providing gluten free. A lot do but for some reason this one has not.

Took my family out tonight. Started with margaritas 1) short, Top shelf, and tall, Classic margarita . Both were good but the margarita called “Top Shelf “ was the best, if you like it not sweet , authentic Mexican margarita . All good ordered was very tasty would highly recommend any of these dishes: Food- 1) chicken and spinach enchiladas- my mom said was really good .2- Burrito casa- my daughter loved this dish . 3- enchiladas Mexica- one of each enchiladas- very good 4- burrito bowl with steak - great meal for anyone in a low carb diet. 5- pick 2; my son chose soft taco with steak and cheese, rice and beans no lettuce . Update: this place became our family’s favorite restaurant- a little loud, but the food and service is outstanding.

Azul has been one of my favorite restaurants in Hudson but I was totally disappointed two nights ago. We waited over one half hour for our food. Then when it came a lot of the vegetables and the shrimp in my quesadilla were blackened. Obviously left on the grill too long. But the worst was that my daughter’s steak quesadilla had a couple shrimp in it. Luckily she is not allergic to seafood. Told the waiter but he didn’t even seem to acknowledge the issue. Left frustrated.

Two girlfriends and I waited for our food for over an hour. Others around us got their food, when we ordered before them. We had to ask for everything, and also just took our food to go because we didn’t want to wait there any longer. Then when we asked for our cheese dip to be comped, and he claimed he couldn’t. We had been travelling most of the day Friday. The parking lot was packed, but we figured we'd just wait. To our surprise, despite the Friday crowd, we were seated and served with efficiency and friendly service. The food was delicious, the margaritas were delightful. We watched every single staff member hustle to meet diners needs and cleaning needs...all with smiles and camaraderie. It was a perfect dining experience.

Food was actually perfect, but we were disappointed with our drinks. I really should have called the manager over, but hopefully this will get read. My wife had a mojito, and there was something unusual and unwelcome in there... it tasted "chemical" is the best description we could come up with... just wrong. I had a Texas margarita. It wasn't bad, but nothing special that made it "Texas" and worth $12. It was a house margarita at best. So - food was fine but check your bartender. Visit was 7:12 pm on Feb. 1st.

As always - this is hands down the best Mexican restaurant you will find in western Wisconsin AND the east metro of Minneapolis / St Paul. I firmly believe that. They charge a card processing fee without notice before ordering which is a slimy business practice. Also passing this fee off to the customer makes the owner seem very greedy.

My first and probably only visit. Food was decent, service was ok, and the place was clean.

I will continue to eat at Los Habaneros Mexican Grill & Bar Carmichael Road in Hudson over Azul.

I might return to Azul if they hey scrap the greedy business practice of passing off card processing fees to the customers.

Very pretty place the food was OK not amazing I got the sea food chimichanga and it was really hard to cut through. They say they are authentic but not that many authentic things on the menu. My experience here was absolutely spectacular! I highly recommend this amazing Mexican restaurant to everyone reading this review. The food was absolutely amazing, I had the green enchiladas with rice, and let me tell you. These were some of the best enchiladas I have had, and the rice was AMAZING. I've been going to Azul Tequila for quite along time now over the years, and for the past 8 years I've been going here, the service has been exactly the same, short wait times, super friendly staff, and GREAT prices! The drinks were about normal, they were very good! (I recommend the margaritas) and dinner here, is absolutely amazing. The atmosphere of this place feels like Mexico, the decorations are so beautiful, and the music is amazing. Overall, for three adults, the cost was about $46 and very, very worth it for the price you pay!

I was visiting from out of state and this place was recommended so maybe I caught them on a bad day... but I ordered a quesadilla and the severer brought me what looked like a huge soft shell taco. A large un-baked tortilla, folded over the filling. The sides looked like they were put on the plate carelessly- in general, it looked messy and pretty unappealing.... my margarita came in a glass that was still warm to the touch. Not a good experience.

This place is awesome. My group (6 boys) came in for a Spanish project. We had to order all of our food in Spanish. The wait staff could not have been more friendly. They were very very nice and open to this idea and even helped us learn some more Spanish. We ended it off with singing happy birthday to some lady in the restaurant. We were seated immediately. Server brought us chips and salsa, which was very good. It all goes down hill from here. My wife ordered the chicken chimichanga, I ordered the carne azada. The chicken chimichanga was dry and tasteless. The carne azada had a decent flavor but it was so dry and tough. The two thin pieces of steak would have slowed down a chain saw - thank God I have my own teeth. Both dinners had pico de gallo that seemed like it was well beyond its time - tomatoes were very over ripened/bad tasting. The guacamole was watery, lettuce was soggy/limp and we got a drop of sour cream. Also, the rice and refried beans had little, to no, taste. Server was polite, but average, at best. Very disappointing - we would never recommend, nor will we ever return.

My grandson had a hamburger and fries. The bun was greasy and hard as a rock. His burger was very overcooked and the fries were undercooked and had no seasoning of any kind. My carnitas lacked flavor and were super dry. There were no toppings whatsoever on the tacos and the tortillas were soggy and fell apart very easily. The rice was greasy and hard, like it was old. For all of this it was very overpriced as well. I couldn’t finish my food because I got such an upset stomach. I’ve tried the one in New Richmond a couple times as well. Bad experiences at both places so won’t be returning to either one.

Had a fabulous lunch today tacos were fresh hot and delicious.
The service was quick and courteous.
I would say it's about 10% a little expensive but still worth it.
I'll definitely will be returning next time I go through Hudson.
