We had a party of 6, no wait to sit down, and waiter didn't come to our table for 10 mins to start it off. We place our drink and food orders all in one go so everything was set. Waiter brought waters for everyone after 10-15 mins. After another 15 mins of waiting a party member went up to the bar to get some of the drinks we ordered. 3 of our party members ordered shakes which they were still waiting on at that point. Roughly 40 mins after placing orders the shakes are brought out. We ordered 2 appetizers that didn't arrive until all the food was done which has been 50-60 mins now. 4 of us ordered burgers and you can tell they were all done a while ago and sat untill the melted cheese was cold again, the patties were slightly above room temp. One of our party members got his burger without coleslaw on it but when he removed the lower bun there was a few strands of coleslaw stuck to the burger patty like they scraped it off and replaced the lower bun. 2 of our members got the loaded Mac and cheese which both bowls were just above room temp. The waiter said we will get the bills reduced, I'm not sure what the total would of been but after discount the bill was nearly 80 for 2 people. We've had the other location before and enjoyed it but after this experience we have no intention of returning... Just go to Culver's

Me and a colleague stopped here on our way back from Chicago and since Ponderosa wasn't open yet we thought we'd give this place a try. According to the online reviews and pictures, I thought this would be a good place to eat. Boy, was i wrong. The restaurant was nice and inviting when we first walked in, very spacious and clean with a nice outdoor seating area. We were sat relatively fast and looked at the menu, which had a good mix of items that looked appetizing.
We ordered the corn dog shrimp for an appetizer, because it looked interesting. And we both ended up ordering the steak sandwich one mid rare and the other medium, mine with onion rings and my colleague's with fries and an added side salad. We also ordered a iced tea and a fountain drink.
The server that we had, took our order after delivering our drinks and we proceeded the long wait for our food. This is where everything went down hill.
The server came by with two side salads one with ranch and the other with French dressing and asked which one my colleague had. The server never asked for dressing choice initially and my colleague chose the ranch dressing one which the server set down the one with French and stated that he'll have to go get the ranch and took off the French then delivered the other salad to a different table. The dressing was brought out a few minutes later. We proceeded to wait for our appetizer thinking it would be out soon. Nope, we were wrong. Our steak sandwiches came out first instead. I asked the server where the appetizer was, which he said "i forgot, ill put it in now".
So, we start digging into our sandwiches and my mid rare steak sandwich was 85% mid well and my colleague's medium steak sandwich was 75% well done. My onion rings were cold and hard making me think that they had been sitting for a while before I even ordered my food. My colleague never received his fries with his sandwich either. There was minimal sauce and toppings in our sandwiches as well and you could barely taste or see the sauce that was supposed to be on it. We did recieve our appetizer later, which was pretty much a tiny bit of shrimp wrapped in way too much batter, not good. At this point we just ate our food because we were in a hurry to finish our trip and we only saw our server once after we recieved our sandwiches and that was too give us our bill, which he got wrong as well. We never got asked how everything was, never got refills of our drinks, and no offer of a comp for messing up and missing items in our meals (it would have been nice to be offered at least). Most of the time our server was neglecting his tables because he was too busy talking and flirting with an off-the-clock female worker at the host stand.
Very poor service, poor food quality, but good atmosphere.
I'd also like to add that another one of his tables were complaining about the food and service as we were leaving to a manager.
Very disappointing. I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

We had a great experience at our visit. Valerie our waitress was spectacular! She was on top of everything and had a great personality which alone made our dining experience so pleasant. I let the manager know of her attentiveness and job performance. We ordered cheese curds, loaded tater tots, burgers and shakes and they were all too notch. I highly recommend this location and hopefully you’ll get the same experience.

Ordered almost $100 worth of food which I would say was mostly edible but not worth that price first I signed up for the email to get the 10% off my first order that was never emailed to me so said ok what ever paid full price the shakes were good except for the toppings the Cookie Crisp and cupcake were stale and inedible asked if I could customize the burger they said yes they did remove the slaw but never subbed the pepperjack for cheddar for people that hate peppers that’s terrible to bite into the other burger was ok but over cooked and a little dry cheese curds were awesome but to many mistakes to be charging so much the person I talked with to get my food was very friendly and did a great job but the food needs to be taken care of better they weren’t even busy

Zero stars if I could. So many better places to dine in the area. Wish I wasn't lured by my children's lust for the shakes. They do a great job advertising. The food is garbage unfortunately. We went for happy hour as they advertise 50% some food items and 20% all drinks. Per the menu. So we basically tried everything on the happy hour menu, I mean why not? It's half off and we've never been there. Fries were mushy. Odd taste of the mushrooms and onions on the burger. So much ranch on the chicken ranch Mac. Cheese curds were decent and the pretzel was actually good...but can you really mess that up? My biggest complaint is the lackluster shakes. We got 3. All Shakes arrived not looking like the amazing photos used for advertising. So Meh. Very disappointed. At the end of the meal, our bill arrives and Shakes are not included in the "all drinks 20% off" so I questioned it. Waitress brought over some kid who didn't introduce himself and informed me that the Shakes are considered dessert. Not drinks. Oh OK. Doesn't state that on the menu. Fine. I ask for mgr. Because no clue who that kid was. Manager Derrick saunters over. Shrugs his shoulders and says shakes are considered dessert despite what menu says... Then he gets a phone and walks away. Comes back as we are leaving and says the owner agreed with him that shakes are not included in discount despite advertising. Oh OK. It's whatever. We already paid.
I wouldn't recommend this place. I would not go back. Food was disappointing, especially when so many other good places to dine in the Dells. I would like to point out, we had fantastic service from our waitress. Very attentive and friendly.

Anyplace that is named Burgers and Shakes better have good burgers. Our burgers were horrible. They were dry like hockey pucks. The cheese curds on the burger were dry and no cheese in them. It was like the food had been left sitting for a long time or way overcooked. We ordered onion rings and they were soggy, not crisp at all. The french fries were floppy and all food was cold. The fish tacos were cold and there was no breading on the fish and it was supposed to be breaded. Our waiter never came back until he brought the check. When we said how bad the food was, he said he would talk to the kitchen. Took 10% off the bill. Was not acceptable. I would not recommend taking a chance eating here.

Everything was amazing. Each of the burgers we got were so tasty and I truly believe you can’t go wrong with whichever you decided to go for. The B-Lux milkshake was also very good and it had just the perfect amount of sweetness to it (not too sweet). Our serve was phenomenal to say the least, unfortunately did not catch her name but she was so on top of it making sure we were doing well throughout our time there. Definitely worth the visit if you’re in the dells!!

Stopped in tn for dinner. There was a bit of a wait but nothing crazy. Our server was Valeria & she was very nice & attentive despite how busy it was. (Yay for us, sorry to the other people.) we definitely would’ve been missing out bc the cheese curds were phenomenal. They were light & airy w some crisp, so good. Frustrating experience. Occurred on a Sunday night so it wasn’t overly busy. My family of 5 asked to sit in the outdoor dining area. There were other diners sitting outside. I was able to give them 5 stars because the food is good. The only problem is that they charge an 18% tip for the server. When the server doesn't even care if we need anything else on the table, he just goes and gives you the food. When he returns to the table, he simply leaves you the bill and says have goodnight.

If there’s only 2 of you going for dinner, find somewhere because this place will forget and ignore you. I understand larger tables leave bigger tips, but we are paying customers just as much as they are. Was forgotten and ignored by waitstaff multiple times. At dinner on a summer Tuesday, we had to ask for refills for every beverage, every time. We had to ask for any condiment that wasn't salt and pepper, which thankfully were on the table. We visited B-LUX for a quick sit down burger and it was OK. The restaurant was clean and had plenty of space. Pricing was fair and food was served quickly. Very Poor service!!!
We we seated very quickly on the patio, that was great. However, it was downhill from there. We waited almost a half an hour before being approached by a waiter, who wasn't even going to serve us. The person asked my wife if we had been helped, My wife replied "no". "Don't worry someone will be with you shortly " the waitress told us.. Keep in mind we are a 1/2 hour into this already sitting on the patio, no water, and no waiter.. 5-10 minutes pass and out Server appears. We place our order immediately and in addition ask for water.. Thankfully the water came out relatively quick However I can not say that for our food. Another 30-40 minutes pass still no food, our server kindly came out and filled our empty glasses of water as a consolation to the lack of a meal and the extraordinary wait. Ironically most of my family had lost there appetite when the food arrived and we immediately for a take-home..

Moral of the story: Don't waste your time!!!!

2nd time going, thought we'd give it another chance, BIG MISTAKE. Food was nothing to brag about, waiter never bothered to check on us so we didn't get a chance to tell them they gave us fries instead of tater tots but they charged us the up grade for tater tots. When we asked why we where be charged for them they said it was because we ordered them,even though they never gave them to us. The hostess and manager made a big deal about refunding the $ for the tater tots. Their staff are just as rude and oblivious as last year. Wouldn't recommend to anyone I liked.

We dined here during a vacation after a long day at great wolf. The place itself looked well organized and clean. We were seated fairly quickly and the staff was nice. That's about all the good I can say. Prices were outrages and the food was abysmal. We ordered 3 kids menu items and 2 burgers with 4 shakes. We paid $168...the shakes were ok but $15 per shake is insane and NOT worth it. The food had absolutely ZERO flavor so be ready to be disappointed. Went here for lunch and my daughter wanted one of the over-the-top shakes. The place smelled like old grease. Should've been a red flag. It took iur server forever to come to us and when she did, she was barely seen. The food tries to be a foodie's dream, but left a lot to be desired. I got the cheese head burger. The beef patties at your high school cafeteria are better than this. The cheese curds were soggy and bland. The fries were actually decent, fresh and crispy. We then got the blue cookie monster milk shake. It was good, but a lot. Between me and my daughter, we barely finished half.

Very busy night so no fault to our server, table we were seated at was dirty, had to be wiped down while we were standing there, had dirty silverware and had to get new before we could eat, fabric napkins were covered in lint when brought to us, was told the iced tea was sweetened when we asked and it was not, order was taken when we got our drinks, waiting 45 minutes for our appetizer, and additional 30 minutes to get our meals, very loud inside, kids running around all over(no fault of the establishment, just a very busy night), after finishing our food, waited 20 minutes for our server to be free to bring us a box and our bill before grabbing the box ourselves from the wait station and another 10+ minutes for our poor server who was running like crazy due to being assigned to different tables all over the restaurant instead of a specific section. I hope this was a one-off as the reviews prior to our visit were great. We made sure to tip our server well and I wish I had gotten his name, he had told us and we could barely hear him.

I really wanted to like this place, I swear I did. My burger was $17. I don't mind paying $17 for a good burger in a tourist town, but this was not a good burger. The patties were reminiscent of cafeteria meat that had been sitting in a steam tray for too long. If these burgers ever actually touched a grill, I couldn't tell. Well, I chose poorly picking this restaurant. The Buffalo Chicken ranch wrap was mostly edible. The chicken tastes like leftover chicken you brought home from dinner last night and microwaved for about 45 seconds and then thrown in with the rest of the ingredients.
The chicken quesadilla uses rotisserie chicken that somehow has no flavor.
Even being on a long road trip and being very hungry it did not boost the perceived quality of the food.

Food was dry, we had a party of 7, on all separate checks and they added an automatic 18% gratuity because our party was over 6. I would understand if we were all on the same check but there was only 2-3 people on a check. Server would have gotten a way better tip if the business wasn’t greedy.

The only time we saw our waitress was when we ordered, got our food, and time for the bill. We even tried to get another wait staff their attention but nothing. I had the fish, there was more breading than fish, and the tarter sauce was unusual.

We were so thankful for Payton as our server. She was so friendly and made sure we were taken care of so well. The rest of the staff was nothing but smiles either. We ordered Mac and Cheese, wings, sliders, and burgers and every one of them was delicious. Got 2 shakes as well and we couldn't have been happier with our experience here. I have no idea why people are leaving bad reviews about this place. Don't believe them. Get here and have some good food, and be treated well while you are there.

The building looks nice after being renovated. The Oreo shake and pizza were good. Unfortunately the burger was gross. The server said their burgers were smash burgers. I would have never described it that way. The patties looked like microwaved frozen burger. To make it worse, the patties were cold. It was disappointing.

Definitely not what it was all cracked up to be. Had it a first time years ago wasn't great. Figured I'd be a good sport and try it again. No not the worst burger, but for the money I would rather go to culvers and still have better. Staff was friendly but wasn't the most educated with the menu or all that helpful. Still tipped appropriately just figured i would save another family the trouble of going.

Unnecessarily rude manager. Server was ok, but never had one designated server. Different person brought our drinks, different person brought our food. Ultimately the manager with an attitude problem was the icing on the cake. Good food, staff and management need training on how to treat customers.

Had a wonderful experiance here. Great burger and an awesome atmosphere. I even got to watch the Wild game! Tanner specifically had the best service and was a wonderful bartender. Very polite, punctual, and super knowledgeable!
