Me and my family came from IL for a little vacation and we chose this spot to eat but after they took us to our booth we waited to get served but even after 20 minutes no one came. The best espresso martinis in the Dells are at B-lux. Julio is an incredible bartender! He was beyond excellent, very accommodating and friendly. He gave me great food recommendations, and everything was delicious. I highly recommend B-lux, and especially ask for Julio! You'll leave more than happy and satisfied with the experience.

We started with the poutine - it was legit the best I've ever had!! Can I be real for a minute?!? The Morning After is dangerous. My fiance ordered it, I had 2 bites and I almost fought him so I could keep eating it! Hands down one of the GOAT. The flavor; I can't put words to it, it was something I'd drive 4 hours one way to eat again!! I had the scrumptious steak fajita wrap with a cup of chili. Both were seriously amazing!! The chili had perfect spice and the steak on the wrap paired with the fresh veggies was delish!! The atmosphere was very classy, but comfortable and the service was great!!

Who still charges a credit card “convenience fee,” anymore, especially a larger restaurant in a vacation location?

I had high hopes for my first visit, but I was disappointed. Here are some things I noticed: we were not approached to order a drink until we ordered food; the waitress didn’t put in several things correctly which resulted in a couple members of our party sitting for most of the meal without their own meal, including my 8 year old daughter; there was no adequate recognition of this; the food was just ok, something I could have gotten elsewhere for much cheaper; we were sitting for an extended amount of time for the check despite the place being almost empty; and finally, we were charged a surcharge for using a card to pay. At this day and age, that is wildly unexpected and I was unaware of it until the check came. I’ve eaten at fast food restaurants, all the way to home town diners and fancy restaurants, and never paid a surcharge. I will not return and I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Ordered the Mojo JoJo shake, Three Napkin Poutine, and the Cheesehead burger with s/o for our first time there in WI.

Everything was delicious! The shake was the best thing we ordered, followed closely with the poutine. I would've never thought to put pulled pork and a fried egg onto such a dish but it worked! The pork particularly gave the poutine the substance it needed, and the flavors blended well with the other ingredients!

I had most of the burger and I found it quite delicious, lol. The burn mark of the logo on the bun was a cool touch!

The shake's flavors of banana and peanut butter is a fantastic combo alone, but topped with the whipped cream, chopped peanuts, and drizzle of chocolate syrup gives it that extra "umph." The recees topped on there was the least delicious thing on that shake, haha.

My s/o and I got another order of poutine and tried the donut shake on our way back home and the latter wasn't as good as the Mojo JoJo one, imo. The poutine still came through for us, lol. Will definitely go back again and try out more of their menu in the future!

We visited B-Lux during a recent family vacation for a late night snack. We ordered chicken tenders, cheese curds, a lemonade and a specialty milkshake.

The chicken tenders were good. Cheese curs were OK, they were a bit "fancier" than the cheese curds I prefer. The milkshake looked fun, but it had way too much whipped topping on it. The top 3 inches of the milkshake was whipped cream.

For what we received, the price was a bit high ($44). It was fund to get the milkshake for a vacation treat, but I don't know that I would return. Like many places in the Dells, the restaurant charges to use a credit card.

This used to be our favorite place to eat when visiting the Dells. However, the food has gone downhill recently. They no longer make fresh, thick burger patties, but instead they now use pre-formed, thin, fast-food patties. We thought it was strange when we asked if we could have the burgers cooked to medium temp and were told "the burger patties are only cooked to one temperature" (we received well-done). I'm guessing they have a machine cooking them now.

Also, the cheese curds used to be fantastic, and they still are if they knew how to cook them. Sadly, the last two times we've gone, the "cheese curds" we received were nothing more than a greasy basket of empty shells of breading as all the cheese had melted out of them in the fryer.

Our most recent visit cost us $215 for just me, my wife, and our four kids. The food would be fine (other than the "cheese curds" which were unacceptable) if this was a fast-food joint, but when you pay premium prices, you expect premium quality. This place is no longer premium quality. It's a shame, too, because we always looked forward to eating here. Sadly, I don't think we will be going back anymore.

Side note, they automatically charge an 18% tip for tables of 6 or more. We don't believe in the ridiculous, out-of-control American tip culture. We believe in tipping based on the quality of service, not an automatic charge. But to each their own. Whether you believe in that or not is up to you - I just wanted to point that out as well.

Stopped by B-LUX Grill & Bar recently and tried both the hamburger and the fish & chips. Unfortunately, neither dish hit the mark.

- The hamburger was way over-seasoned, so much so that it overwhelmed the flavor of the meat itself.

- The fish & chips were underwhelming as well. The fish lacked flavor.

The atmosphere was decent, and the menu had promise, but based on this visit, the execution just didn’t deliver. Hopefully, with a few tweaks in the kitchen, they can bring the flavor up to match the vibe.

Have been at this location 2 years ago and had a great experience however this time around was nothing I for sure expected. Long story short I was meeting a friend a haven’t seen in 8 years for the first time. He came from Europe never been to the US before , knows little to no English and I proposed to meet at this place since I loved everything about it last time we came. He agreed to meet there and he arrived before me and my husband and so when we walked in we told the front lady that we have someone already there she said ok and we walked in and found him at a table. At least 5 minutes pass by and this lady come up to us also me assuming she will greet us and ask for drinks NO she completely gave an attitude and said “umm you are supposed to be seated first” and gave a stare and looked us up and down for few second clearly made us all uncomfortable and in disbelief. Then she went ahead to go tell someone else to move us to a different table and we were seated somewhere else which it’s totally fine. I find the attitude and overall approach of that lady completely unprofessional and will for sure never go to that place ever again. My friend felt bad , we felt because we had no intention to just sit ourself but my friend being used to Europe and sitting himself at a restaurant he had no idea he had to be seated, mind you he walked in from same front door we did as well. Nobody told him he needs to be seated then. This whole interaction had ruined our special reunion and I will not recommend a place that does not respect and treat costumers in a professional manner. Do better B-Lux employees and management. I should have just left to a different place, there were many options , big mistake and won’t make it again. I don’t leave reviews usually but this place really caught my attention. The atmosphere was pretty alright, I personally am from a larger area with more hustle and bustle so the noise did not bother me or my partner so much. What we found more upsetting, was how long the wait time AFTER being seated was. Between sitting down and leaving, my partners food and I spent just under an hour and a half there, only 20 minutes of that with food in front of us. After being sat, we didn’t speak to another staff member until 20 minutes later. We waited long periods of time between each time we saw the waiter. He delivered our waters and then dipped with our appetizer orders, we were then flagged him back down after about 5 minutes for straws. Then maybe 15 minutes later he returned to take our meal orders.
For whatever reason, we got our appetizer ant the same time aa our meals, an hour after sitting down, and my burger was cold, while my partners wings were toasty. Nothing on my plate was still warm. It appeared as if my food was made before his and just sat the entire time his cooked. I have never sent food back, but the burger was expensive, so I told the waiter it was cold, and he had it replaced in the kitchen, which, conveniently, was only about a 5 minute wait. However, the returned tater tots were overcooked and the pork was still pretty room temperature and left a weird feeling in my gut, so I didn’t eat much of that and let my partner eat some, he too was not impressed and only took a few bites. Our cheese curds were alright, of course, but both of our meals were average.
All in all, an unpleasant experience, and I will not be returning.

This place exceeded my expectations. Im traveling from Kewanee, IL and it was well worth it to stop here. When I got here, they were very quick about seating me and the food was delicious. I had ordered the Southern Chicken Sandwich with fries (which came with the burger). The burger buns were well buttered and the chicken was almost perfectly cooked. The waitress was also very consistant on making sure I had everything I needed. I just wish I had a bigger appetite as the food was great. We had Tom as our server tonight. He was above average, fantastic really. Very attentive. There was a language barrier, but we still were able to communicate.
The food was average. Kids had Mac n cheese and option for fries or fruit. Both went with the fries. My wife had the southern fried chicken sandwich. It was okay. I had the poutine app for dinner. My fries were pretty salty.
My kids ordered dessert, one had a sundae, the other had the cookie monster shake. The sundae had probably the smallest scoop of vanilla ice cream topped with a TON of whipped cream. The cookie monster milk shake was just average. The blue moon didn't taste like blue moon back home. Maybe use "premium ice cream" for your premium shakes? The whipped cream has more of a cool whip consistency/flavor, so how can you call it whipped cream?

My husband, me, and his niece and nephew visited here today for the first time after a day in the Dells. Very hungry and ready to eat. My husband and his nephew got the cheese curd burger, his niece got the kids Mac n cheese and I got the bbq pulled pork Mac n cheese. The bacon on both of their burgers were pretty much raw. His nephew’s burger was very very greasy. His nieces Mac n cheese looked pretty much like box Mac n cheese and was really lacking on the cheese part. My bbq pulled pork Mac n cheese was pretty much just a bowl of slop. It was also lacking the cheese basically was like plain noodles with a slop of pulled pork on top. Not much bbq sauce either. Our waitress was very nice but very inattentive. She did bring refills over for the kids thankfully and also asked if wanted to try some of their shakes that they are known for. We nicely declined as we were kind of full and also knew our bill was already pretty high so didn’t want to add on four $14 shake as well. The waitress seemed kind of upset that we declined the shakes and never came back until she brought the bill. That was the time she asked my husband if he wanted a refill on his drink after we have already packed up all of our leftovers and his food was gone. I’m not one to usually give reviews on places but after this experience I probably won’t be back to this restaurant.

I had the pleasure of dining at B‑LUX Grill & Bar and while it’s casual, it pleasantly surprised me with its delicious food and top‑notch service. Their shakes are thick, rich, and delicious . They come in both classic and boozy (adult) versions.

After waiting 15 minutes, we inquired of the shakes, staff went to “check” on them and eventually brought out the wrong order several minutes later. At that time I asked to see the manager or get a refund so we could just leave, neither of which was provided as staff said the manager Tifa was not there. Finally after 25 minutes we received our correct order.

I requested the manager’s contact information so I could follow up later which the staff refused to give so I left my contact information for her to call me. I also contacted the restaurant via their website to submit the issue there. That was a month ago and I never heard anything nor did staff make any gesture to apologize or make it right.

The shakes were good but spending 25 minutes for 2 shakes to-go (at a cost of $26.75 after using a coupon we got at the pizza place next door) is not worth it. I wouldn’t go back based on the complete lack of customer service shown to us.

Do not recommend! Do not waste your money! As soon as we walked in there was a customer arguing with them because they gave the customer $45 all in 1s for her change! And didn’t give her the change part back. Then we order a kids meal: the waitress said it’s Kraft mac and cheese. Ok watev. I ask for Dr Pepper. I ask more than once if it’s Dr Pepper and not anything else. She says yes. I taste it and I’m like this isn’t Dr Pepper. She talks a pic and it says Doc. What’s doc? I tell the waitress it’s not what she thought. She only ate the fries. Most places would be like you want something else? Even if we had to pay for it. That’s fine. Nope. She didn’t offer anything . Didn’t do anything. So she paid like $16 just for fries. I get my sister should have paid attention that it said ground turkey but the fact the waitress did 0 about it. Then I’ve been calling for days now to get this solved and everyone says no manger is available. The manager is busy. There’s no manager today. Ive left my phone number multiple times and not one call back.

We came with a party of 11 people. Three milkshakes were ordered and on two of them, the sprinkles had a pickle juice flavor., which was confirmed by at least 6 people in our party. I ordered the Cajun shrimp and avocado salad, had 5 cold grilled shrimp on the salad for which I was charged $16. Had to ask the waiter for silverware and napkins in order to eat the food. We were there for approximately 1.5 hours, waiting for our order and eating. Waiter only checked in with us once to see if we needed anything else. My total bill was $24.64 for which I paid cash ($40). Not only did I not receive the $0.36 change back, I was charged $0.58 for using a credit card. (I paid cash). Not a happy camper!

The place looked fun! We were excited about trying a couple of shakes with our meal. However after telling us that it would be 5-10 min, we waited 20. That is what it is. However after we got sat, we waited for 15 min and nobody came to our table. A table that got sat 5 min after us got service. We asked where our server was. They said they will get them. NOBODY showed. Now we were just simple family of 4. Our bill would've probably been around $120.00. I am a former restaurant worker who tips decently 20-25%. So that server missed out on a great tip. I'd recommend a reservation. My wife and I sat at the bar. They have excellent shakes. Really is a good choice. Personally I wish they'd expand their shake selection but it's a bar, not a shake shack. Usually I don't order pasta at a restaurant, but the pulled pork Mac n cheese was excellent. Ate there tonight with my husband and kids. I will say I was quite disappointed. The food was sub par to say the least. I don't think my burger was even seasoned. Every single one of the cheese curds were melted and sticking together into one big cheesy glob. Some chicken tenders were dark brown, some were light brown? My burger was so greasy, it completely soaked my bottom bun and it was basically non existent. Service was the worst part though! They were less than half full yet it took over 20 minutes just to get water. Apps came out at the same time as the food, not one refill the whole time even after asking. Waited 20 minutes for the bill after our table was cleared, then another 10 for her to bring our card back. The best part you ask? The AUTOMATIC 20% TIP you are forced to pay for horrible service! Over $100 wasted! Would have been better off going to McDonald's! Save your money! Any place who forces me to tip a certain amount automatically loses my business, especially if the service was crap! Why would they actually work for their tip when the already know they are getting 20% no matter what? Such a SCAM!

Probably the most overpriced shake I’ve ever had. I’ve been to fancy, over the top shake places before so the $14 price for a vanilla shake with Oreo didn’t shock me too much. What did shock me was that the shake does not come in a mason jar that you take with you, it’s just in a run of the mill plastic cup. The shake was decent but could have gone to McDonalds and got an Oreo McFlurry that tastes about the same. Every other over the top shake place I’ve been to is the take home mason jar and more than just 1 thing in the shake itself. Highly disappointed and I’d never spend my money here again.

In town for the first time for my son's birthday with my niece and nephew. Thought we would try this place after doing a quick Google search. Definitely do NOT recommend and VERY disappointed. My autistic son is particular about textures. Unfortuantly they toasted his hot dog bun from his kids meal resulting in him not eating it. My niece ordered the kid's mac and cheese and it was definitely super dry KRAFT macaroni. My daughter got the frenchie burger and apparently you can't upcharge for soup, resulting in having to spend an additional $5. Also, side salads consist of a cherry tomato cut in half, 2 slices of cucumber, onions, and spring lettuce. The chicken and rice soup had some werid super spice to it, and the shakes were not great. Honestly culver's concrete mixers are way better. For 2 adults and 4 kids (2 kids ordered adults meals), 6 shakes (most had the blue moon ice cream that the kid's hated because it tasted like McDonald's shamrock shake), and the cheese curd appetizer (highly recommend!), it was $270. They charge a 18% gratuity for parties of 6+. Overall, EXTREMELY disappointed and definitely not worth $270.

First time here. There was a major language barrier. There were 6 of us who ordered. 4 out of the 6 people got their food and the other 2 never received their food. We had a great meal at B-Lux in Wisconsin Dells. The ribs were really good, and the shrimp and corn soup were quite tasty. Big bonus: their fancy milkshakes are actually worth the hype: super creamy, full of flavour and not overly sweet.

Service was good too. Fun surprise to meet a couple of students from Kazakhstan working there through the Work & Travel program. Small world, never know where you meet a homie. Привет землякам! 🇰🇿
