I have had the food a few times. Every time excellent. Service always great l. The owner is a fun fella. A mistake was made i was not upset as qexare humans. I went back quick and all was good. I can't express enough how the experience was above excellent. I will continue to go there. Food was also amazing. Thank you Backyard Barbecue for the great experience. A full 6 stars I could.

I’ve been all over the south and this is some of THE BEST Barbecue I’ve had in a very long time! Highly recommend everything on the menu we ordered a bit of everything on the menu to share with the family and it was some of the best food we have had in Janesville!

I spent most of my life in the south and this is the closest thing to southern bbq that I've had since moving to Wisconsin. Have also had them cater a few events for us (wedding and bday) and the food is always a talking point.

This is the best BBQ in Rock County and maybe even Southern Wisconsin. The brisket and pulled pork sandwiches are my go-to. Make sure to grab a fork as they are piled high with meat. The Pulled Pork Mac Bowl is amazing! Have not had one bad thing from Backyard BBQ. It's a must have.

Wanted green beans were giving baked beans that were uneatable. The pulled pork sandwich was excellent the Cole slaw was good my ribs tips lacked meat but what I got was cooked well.The food in the past has been a plus they had a bad day today.

Hands down the best bbq in town! Everything I've tried has been great. My go-to is the pulled pork backyard style. The only thing that would make it better is some cornbread. The meat is always tender, the heavenly beans are amazing, and the slaw is great too! Looking forward to having the truck around so we can enjoy the food on days other than Fri/Sat.

Just tried for the first time and its some of the best BBQ I've ever had! I had the brisket meal with their "Heavenly Beans". The brisket was tender and delicious. The beans were amazing! Highly recommend!!
