Last time i was there,one week ago, they seemed to be shorthanded as the bartender was to busy handling carryout and she had to keep reminding chef that an order was wrong or missing something. I could have been pretty inebriated while I waited for my dinner except the bartender didn't acknowledge the bar as well as could've been. I waited at bar for carry out over an hour.

My family & I went to Badger Burger last Saturday for my Grandpa's birthday. Immediately we felt like an inconvenience when I told the worker up at the bar we had 8 people (even though the restaurant was empty).
When we sat down, almost all of the tv's were off even though the Badgers and Brewers were playing. When my grandpa asked if they could turn the game on by us, she replied with "No promises" and was never able to turn it on.
When our server got to the table, she was rude. We immediately asked to closeout after getting our drinks and went next door to El Jimador. Amazing experience there and they welcomed us with open arms.
I am not one to leave reviews but this was not a good experience.

Seemed to be only one server at about 130 on a Thursday afternoon. Took our drink order. When she brought our sodas we ordered lunch. Lunch came and we didn’t see her again (could have used some more napkins for the messy burger) until I flagged her down to advise her what I saw her cook do. I saw him at the opening from the kitchen where the prepared food gets put up for serving. I watched him eating, I assume right over a prep area as he was watching the tv in the dining area. I watched because I thought it was an odd place for him to be eating. I am not sure what he was eating but it was bite sized food that he was eating with his fingers. When he finished he licked his index finger and thumb and then his entire thumb again and immediately turned around where I believe the grill may be or maybe another prep area. I told the owner who was our server and she chuckled and said she would talk to him. Maybe she did maybe she didn’t, but she came back and said she talked to him. She said she doesn’t know if he washed his hands or not. She said that there is a sink in that corner. He absolutely did not wash his hands. I watched him. He turned around immediately. He did not use the sink that’s apparently in that corner. I told her she can take my plate as I had lost my appetite. This again seemed to be funny to her as she said sorry and chuckled. Bad service, which happens a lot these days, is one thing, but, this is disgusting. The owners reaction says a lot about why she has employees that would think it’s ok to lick their fingers and continue to prepare our food. I do believe our server was the owner.

We entered to not be stat at 8pm with a bunch of tables available. the food was over done and sub par. The waitress who actually sat us was kind and accommodating but the hostess not so much people walked out because we we told to wait at the entrance for 15 to 20 min. To say I was surprised by the $3 charge for splitting an item (even pizza!) would be an understatement. Our server was great, but you could tell she’s probably been chewed out a few times over the silly upcharges. We ordered one appetizer (loaded tater tots), one Chipotle Burger, one Lakefront Riverwest Stein, one root beer, and one lemonade — our total came to $51.22, including a credit card processing fee. Nothing stood out as particularly fresh or memorable. The unnecessary split charge left the worst impression — it just felt petty. I found myself wondering if everything would come with an extra fee, like a refill on a fountain drink or an extra plate for my 4-year-old. While the food was acceptable, we won’t be returning

Stopped in for lunch, this was my third visit and I’ve tried the Blue Cheese burger and the Wisconsin Burger. I had my burger done medium and it was cooked slightly over but no complaints. The burger itself was thick and juicy and was good but could have used a little more seasoning for my own personal taste.
The burgers are large and filling and they have a tendency to fall apart while eating.
The steak fries were thick, fresh and hot. There is also a version of fries with chives that I have not tried.
Overall the burgers here are very good and I would recommend for the hearty appetite. There are daily specials and other menu items that I hope to experiment with in the future. This has become one of my go to lunch stops.

Stopped in on a roadtrip from milwaukee towards madison, 2:30 on a Tuesday- only one waitress on, and just a few folks over in the bar area. The food was ok (mind you 4 teenagers were starving) For lack of customers we only saw our waitress 3 times- one for drinks, once to bring food and a quick how is everything about 3/4 done with our food. My husband went up to the bar to pay so we could get back on the road. About 20 minutes after we left I saw the receipt- I told him they miss charged our son's nachos- should have been half off with happy hour price.... then I saw if he saw 20% was added- he had no idea. Went here recently for a Friday fish fry. We made a reservation in advance and were seated right away. Then, we were forgotten. It was not busy at all, but it took more than 10 minutes for a server to come over for our drink order. A party of four seated behind us ended up leaving due to being ignored. When I brought it up to the hostess, she shrugged it off and told me that they were always at the restaurant and left when they felt they weren’t getting attention (but even if this were true, I don’t blame them given the poor service we experienced). People seated after us were provided with service before us. Most of the members of our party preferred the fish fry. Even though the waitress brought every other table rye bread and coleslaw, we didn’t get this even though it’s included in the meal. It took forever to get refills on fountain drinks. Then, even though the menu specifically says that a 20 percent gratuity is added for parties of eight or more, they added that even though there were less than 8 of us! So their math is about as good as their service… I won’t be returning.

This was a take out meal. We ordered a stone fired pizza and wings. The wings were decent. The pizza was pretty bad. There was zero flavor and it seemed fairly under cooked. The larger issue is the price doesn't come close to matching the quality or quantity for that matter. Came here again. And unfortunately the experience was a bit degraded since the previous one. Came with a friend for an afternoon lunch. Got a couple of burgers that were good, but not great. The burger was well made up, cooked to the right temperature, but the hamburger meat itself just was not that flavorful.
Also, the initial service was good, but then our server was MIA during the latter part of the meal. After we got the check, never even stopped back to collect the signed bill. I am hoping that this downward trend is not going to continue.

I’ve been to several of the Badger Burgers. First time at the Oconomowoc location. Had the most cheerful/helpful server (thanks Justin). We were here for the 1st time a few weeks ago just to check it out, we’re seated quickly and overall had great service! We just had drinks and the giant pretzel… delicious!! I keep trying it because I want to love it, and my husband loves their burgers. I will say I love their cherry cokes and it’s kid friendly. The last few times we’ve been to this location the service has been so slow and they frequently are understaffed. We had the spaghetti special yesterday and it tasted off, a strange spice or old noodles or something. I have been at this location several times and it used to be pretty good, but here recently it's not so good.
First... the one guy comes into work goes behind the bar starts working then starts wiping the counter down with cleaning chemicals never washed his hands, people are ordering drinks he is putting fruit in his dirty hands then putting the fruit in their drinks. ( disgusting)
I also don't like letting Bloody Mary's sitting at the end of the bar waiting to be finished in front of guests that are sneezing and coughing on them.

Dined in, ordered a chicken parm sandwich, the bun was twice the size of the chicken and only got about half the fries as usual. Ordered a Badger burger with nothing on it to go for my husband because that's how he wanted it, he goes to heat up the burger at home a few hours later and they had put lettuce, onion, mayo, tomatoes, and chopped mushrooms on it - chopped mushrooms?! - someone wouldn't throw chopped mushrooms on a burger unless they were making a point to be a jerk about a customer asking for a plain burger, or the waitress was being a jerk and told the cook that was what was asked for on the burger - either way that's not how to treat someone spending their hard earned money at your restaurant. I told my husband to throw it out because the cook or waitress had probably spit on it too because if someone messes with your food that bad, God knows what else they did to it. I was polite to the waitress when I was there saying please and thank you and left a tip because that's how I am, I am not a Karen so it's not like I behaved in a way to warrant that treatment unless asking for a plain hamburger is deemed offensive now. Wish I could get a refund. We will not be going back which is a shame because the place used to be decent.

So it was very disorganized from the beginning. Half the tables in the restaurant were empty but it was still a 20 minute wait which was l9nger than we were told. Server took our order. Very unorganized wait staff. Waited 10-15 minutes and no one came to our table so we had to flag someone down to put in our beverage and food order. Another 15 minutes to get our glass of water and a glass of Coke. And then had to wait another 20-25 minutes to get our food. Now that the days are getting warmer- they have outdoor seating.
Inside is welcoming. Very clean. Laid out nicely.

Many options in the menu besides burgers. We both ordered bacon Cheeseburgers. They offer up 2 choices of fries.

The burgers were huge. Fresh and made to perfection. Everything was perfect. The person who waited on us did a great job for us. Rough us out beverages right away and the food came up pretty fast even tho the place was pretty busy.

I met the owner. Very nice lady. This is a privately owned establishment.
Love supporting local places.
There is more than one of these places. I think she said there are two others? But they are all privately owned.

Great place to take your family, friends or kids to. They have plenty of tv’s if u want to watch a game. They also have music videos playing in some of the tv’s.

My guess is they are all frozen patties because the meat was tasteless. At a 16 dollar price point I expect the burger to be much better. My son chose to celebrate his birthday with family here. This was the first time for all of us.
We had immediate seating. The atmosphere was very nice. Our server was polite and had a nice smile.
Four out of give of us ordered burgers with fries. Two of us paid $2.50 extra to have sweet potato waffle fries.
We were all served at the same time with one person having fresh hot fries, and the other three had just warm fries.
I had ordered a Badger Burger without the garlic sauce and the burger to be well done. It came with the sauce on and pink.
Because the price of the burger and fries was a little more than $18, I decided to let the waitress know. To that I had to get up and go find her.
She did come back to the table and inform us that the chef was making me a new burger and they were also making us hot fries.
It all sounded nice.
The picture I have included is of the SECOND burger that was supposed to be "well done". We were served fresh hot fries, but not the sweet potato waffle fries we had paid extra for with our original order.
The food itself tasted good, I was more disappointed in how the chef did their job.
On a side note, a 20% gratuity is automatically added to your bill.
I will be finding a new restaurant to try.

We just relocated to Sullivan. As we wait for a refrigerator, we have to find places to grab food. Badger burger was not that far away so we decided to give it a try. I think the price point is a little high because I added avocado and my burger with fries ended up being $20. However, it was yummy. My husband got the wings special. 12 wings for $12. He said that they were very filling and he enjoyed it. The only thing that was mediocre was the service. Our server was not very friendly.

First time here and will for sure be back!!!!! Abby our server was great!!!!! The food was so good!!! We ordered two different burgers and they even cut them in half for us! Packer game was on and they serve pizza during half time (which Abby did tell us about as well). Tried the pizza and it was very good as well!!!!

Decent food and seemed like a cool spot. The service was absolutely terrible. I was made to feel unwelcome from the moment I entered. The server was short with me, seemed overwhelmed by a half full restaurant and was in a rush to clear the table.

As a veteran of the service industry, my motto is that my most important customer is whomever I am helping at that moment. This was my first and only experience with Badger Burger Co. and it will more than likely be my last.

Great place and food been there several times now. One server there has caught my attention always Standing with her arms crossed slender gal longer brown hair. Doesn’t seem like she wants to be a team player. Lots of eye rolling yells at the other girls tells customer she’s the manager. Seems to have some personal jealousy issues and stalking behavior!

Inconsistent. The first time we ate here, it was awesome, the burger was probably one of the best I ever had. Went a few days ago for Lunch, there was maybe 6 people in the whole restaurant. My Wife was served reheated, room temperature french fries. You would think with an empty restaurant, there would no excuse for not having fresh food. Fries take 5 minutes to cook. Sad, will definitely not be back. No one wants to play dinner roulette.

Stopped in today for brunch after church. The Bloody Mary was fantastic! All of the garnish was a meal in itself! It was delicious and had the right amount of spice. I had the Cubano sandwich and is was tasty! The bread wasn’t pressed like a traditional Cuban sandwich instead it was served on a soft fluffy French roll. The service was also fantastic. Prompt and friendly! We’ll definitely be back!

Had the worst fish fry and baked fish ever. Bad oil used tasted horrible and baked fish was a dense chunk, nothing flaky about it or flavor. Very dry as well. Chive fries no taste and potato pancakes tasted like deep fried. Coleslaw was just a clump of mayo with a little cabbage no flavor. We didn’t eat much and threw it out. The service at this place is so bad I hate giving them 1 star. Waited forever for food the 4 times I've been there, every time. Waitresses disappear, orders are mixed up, and once all the sides were cold. The last time there my daughter had to go find someone, so we could pay, so we could leave. I hate waiting to pay and was ready to walk out.

This was our first time and what a surprise gem!! Ken was our initial server as we came in just before dinner shifts servers started, he immediately joked with us & got our order & even though our server Erin was only able to take care of us after we got our food she picked up where Ken let off, what a great indication of a good team atmosphere (oh and Ken, what a team player as I joked back that the service was "kind of funny" without missing a beat replied "oh don't take that out on Erin" lol, our receipt shows that our order was under her name I think that means she got the tip or split it but these 2 both took great care of us!!!).
We also just loved the decor, the walls filled with album covers & the music playing was from many of the albums with a TV playing the video's. We're looking forward to visiting again when we can stay a little longer. Thank you for a great experience!!

These guys welcome you into what seems like a close knit family and make sure you are well taken care of. Only in town for a few days but their hospitality is what made sure I returned before leaving. Will definitely plan a return trip someday!

Did not get a chance for anything walked in at 5:50 they said there closing in 10 min. Close at 6 pm ? ? ? No more than half a mile away you stopped at another tavern slam packed busy. The wait was over an hour long. Ended up going down to a good old country which had some great tasty food. My question is. What's the current average dinner time ?

We frequently go to Badger Burger in Oconomowoc for their fish fry. It was always good, but I thought it tasted somewhat salty. But tonight, it was better than ever. Even the batter on the cod tasted lighter than usual, and there was no salty taste. I asked if they changed the recipe or had a new cook. Our waitress said they had 2 new cooks in the kitchen. The potato pancakes with syrup or applesauce were very good too. If you get there before 5:00, you get $2 off each fish dinner. Our waitress was fast and friendly. I highly recommend you go to Badger Burger. They have great beers on tap as well. I had a Raspberry ale which was very good too.

Had a great pizza here about 2 months ago. So I came back today to get another one. It was the worst pizza I ever ate. Very disappointed. The meat was like little squares and very little mushrooms. The cheesy garlic bread was soggy and you couldn't taste the garlic. I won't be saving that menu. It seems like it was 2 different cooks.

Fast seating. Slow to provide server. 15 minutes. Chicken soup served without a single noodle and no chicken. So veggie soup. Cowboy Mac meal you could only taste the bbq. Artichoke dip was pretty good but not the bread served with it. No drink refills offered until asked for when server finally swung by to reached over my shoulder to submit the bill. New to town with my son. Badger Burger Co. truly a disappointment. Not likely to ever return nor recommend.

We came in on a Saturday evening with a group of 20+ adults and children. BBC made it possible for us to all sit in the same area! Food and drinks came quickly, but a few orders were mixed-up. Sat waiting for waitress. Cheese curds were great.....cheesy garlic bread and Badger pizza barely had toppings. I ordered a pick up order and they warned us that the pick up time would be delayed which was nice so we could plan because they were very busy. My husband ordered a prime rib wrap and mozzarella sticks which were good. I ordered the Fiesta chicken salad and all that came on it was chicken, Avocado and dressing. Someone forgot to put the other items on it😥. The dressing was good. Make sure to look over your food before leaving.

This is one of the best fish fries I’ve ever had since they closed Deer Park Ln.! The fish was hot and thin, battered crisp and moist and delicious! The potato pancakes were shredded by hand and crafted the way our German, and Jewish grandparents did it 100 years ago.
If you haven’t been here for the walleye, you’re really missing out. They have a wonderful, three-piece Icelandic cod, fish fry, baked fish, walleye, perch, or for those of you can’t decide they have a wonderful combination platter! The drinks are handcrafted and delicious, and the whole experience is a delight! If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out! The bartenders rock this place. They make you feel welcome, like family, and completely at home!

Absolutely horrible! We will never be back!! Came in with a group of baseball parents and few kids!! Our server was a as an absolute JERK!! As a restaurant manager I hate to bash a restaurant due to being short staffed but this took the cake, server didn't even ring in one of our meals, asked to split the check, didn't happen. Second visit -- Friday happy hour was great, discount apps, drinks and even fish fry. Baked cod was still excellent as was service.
Interior decor in the back is amazing, hundreds of album covers make the wallpaper. Nice bar design too. Burgers are great, fish fry was good, baked cod is fantastic, and pulled pork was bad. Overall a nice place and we will return.

About a month ago, our family of 4 went on a Saturday around 5ish (It was busy, but a couple open tables). We were seated promptly. However, there was a wait... we waited, 10, 20 minuets. After 30 minutes and not having a server greet us or ask for drinks, I went to the bar and ask the waitress if someone could please help us. She was nice and apologetic... she took our order, our food came VERY fast, even better, it was delicious, seasoned well and cooked to our liking 😋.
Knowing we all make mistakes (hostess missed on communication to staff last go-around). A week ago, we decided to try Badger Burger again. This was a Sunday around 3. Place was not busy, approx 3 booths with families. Server was a sweetheart, we did appetizers and burgers. My wife and I had the ranchero... it seemed to be made differently vs last visit, blah/flavorless (had to salt and pepper to taste), flatter/different mix of meat, and was missing the staple 'seasoned fried pickles'. My son's was the Chipotle and was better tasting, with monsterous flavor. While fast food is welcomed; the timing on apps and bringing out food, was a little off... still had 1/2 of cheese curds remaining).
Overall, 1 good visit on TASTE & 1 good on SERVICE. My family and I will give Badger Burger another try; hoping for a mix of both great food + great service 🤞.

Food was okay. Only got 4 cheesecurds on my Wisconsite burger, so if that's what you were going to order, don't get your hopes up. We went at 4:30, so it wasn't busy (nor was there a line at the front of any length). We got our bill placed in front of us a minute and a half after getting our burgers... I hadn't even taken a bite of anything yet. Then, after we tried to pay, it took another 15 minutes for that to be finished after she took our card.

Wanted to place an order online for carry out. Was halfway through putting in the order and web page went to ordering gift card page. Could not get back to menu page, so restarted ordering app. Now all menu items said unavailable. So went to restaurant and was told they were not taking any more carry out orders because kitchen could not handle. As I was walking in I saw a lady with a bag full of food leaving the place. And this was well past 7:00 in the evening, not exactly prime dinner hour.
