As soon as I walked in, I immediately noticed the chic vibe and bamboo theme, and the tables were extremely clean. The waiter was actively talking with us and being super friendly making small talk. The bathroom had great decor, was extremely clean, and was very nice. I ordered the Bamboo Breeze Special with the spicy green beans, and it was amazing. Will definitely come here again; worth the hour drive!

Tried the restaurant a few weeks ago. Service was prompt. Was nice refurbishing of the restaurant. Ordered fresh rolls and house pho. Fresh rolls were a bit overly chewy. The peanut sauce was not quite as usual that I've had. Maybe needed sweet to it, was a little bland. Pho was good and fresh, but broth was missing a good anise flavor. Overall was a nice visit for the first time.

I would have rated 5 stars on the review but the 3rd party delivery service has to find another driver to grab my meal. This was no fault of Bamboo breeze. First time here, decided to get one of the build your own platters. Best decision ever cause it helps you taste a bit of everything if you've never been here!

It should serve about 4 people, but my hubby and me just took the leftovers home.

Bamboo Bar & Lounge isn’t just a spot… it’s a lifestyle. I walked in expecting a new broken heart and maybe some bar snacks. I left with a satisfied stomach, new crushes, and a spiritual connection to their karaoké stage.

Levi, the bar manager, is a wizard. I don’t know what kind of Hogwarts training he went through, but my drink tasted like it was shaken with joy, garnished with charisma, and served with a side of “dang, I needed this.”

Then there’s VK, the kitchen manager — a culinary sorcerer. Every plate that came out of that kitchen slapped harder than my attempts at getting rejected at 11pm. I don’t know what kind of spell he cast on those sticky rice, but I’m considering canceling my gym membership.

The vibe, it’s the kind of place where you feel cool just by being there. Think: fairy lights, smooth tunes, the smell of good food, and just enough neon to feel like you're in a Netflix original about people who have their lives together.

Karaoke night. I came. I sang. I conquered absolutely nothing except perhaps the hearts of a few tone-deaf and drunk supporters in the crowd. 10/10 experience.

Staying in town for a Packer game and this place was one of the only open late on a Sunday. So glad we stopped in. Food and service were top notch. Levi was the best. Being late night it was the bar menu, but you could not go wrong with the choices. Enjoyed the Karaoke and dancing. We felt like family. Found out one of my long time school friend’s cousin is the owner. I really hope this restaurant makes it in Sheboygan. Next time we are back in town, I can’t wait to try a cocktail on the beautiful rooftop.

Restaurant is amazing. Service is amazing. Owner bent over backwards to make sure we got what we needed. There were a couple issues with our order but the owner and waitress worked together to ensure we were happy. All the food was amazing. Egg rolls, chicken wings, bao buns, pork belly, etc.

Food was really quite good. I especially enjoyed the chili sauce. Nice variety on the menu. Service initially was a bit slow, but it quickly improved and stayed really good the rest of the time. Ambiance could def use some improvement. Most of the tables are in an area with a stage, and the acoustics were rough. Could easily hear what other people at other tables were speaking about. Still absolutely worth a visit.

In terms of food that brings an ethnic group together, this place takes the cake. The Hmong food is excellent. My hungry son and I stopped in for dinner (after the circus) and ordered the customize platter with a little bit of everything on the menu. The red curry, chicken wings, and papaya salad did not disappoint. Don’t be shy to ask for extra pepper on the side. Definitely a weekly repeat. 🔥

Randomly stopped here one night while traveling for work and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We ordered egg rolls and pork belly and both were delicious. It’s a family owned restaurant with family recipes. We also ordered several drinks and my favorite was the Dragon’s Breath. Really great place and very happy we stopped in!

I can only speak from my own experience and the dishes we ordered, but overall, I was impressed. We went with the “Whole Experience Platter,” which included Hmong-style fried chicken wings (seasoned with laab spices), eggrolls, curry, pork belly (also with laab seasoning), papaya salad, and five servings of sticky rice. The food was flavorful and well-prepared. Personally, I didn’t care for the papaya salad—it had a bit too much crab paste for my taste, which threw off the balance of flavors for me. That said, the rest of the platter was excellent, and I was impressed that the kitchen got everything out to us within 15 minutes.

One standout feature I appreciated was the presence of a hostess at the door—something you don’t often see at many Hmong restaurants. It made the seating process smooth and eliminated any confusion about where to go, which I think adds to the overall dining experience.

Our waitress was incredibly attentive and accommodating. When more family members arrived unexpectedly, she kindly suggested we combine tables to make everyone more comfortable. It was a thoughtful gesture that made a big difference.

The bartender (Lady) also deserves a shoutout—the drinks were expertly crafted and delicious. She also provided great company.

Overall, Bamboo Bistro is a great addition to Asian cusine in Sheboygan. Check them out!

Ordered the pork belly which came with a side of purple sticky rice and cucumber slices for my husband and I had the curry noodles which was also excellent.
