I got the Thai fried rice with chicken (at a super affordable $11.95 for the portion size) as well as a watermelon smoothie with rainbow pearls. Absolutely delicious and refreshing and just what I needed after a long hot day! The food came out suspiciously quick and tasted phenomenal, service was very nice too!

Totally recommend coming here to refuel your body without breaking the bank.

I just moved from NYC, where we take our Thai food (and our noodles) seriously. I ordered the Pad Thai, my boyfriend got the “creamy noodles,” and what we got felt more like a fusion experiment than Thai cuisine — they used fettuccine noodles. I had to double-check the menu to make sure I hadn’t wandered into an Italian-Thai mashup spot.

The flavor was bland enough that I considered taking it home just to “doctor it up” myself — seriously, I asked for soy sauce just to salvage the meal. They tried to charge me extra for more than four packets (there were two of us), and when I explained why I needed them, the woman straight-up told me, “If you don’t like the food, don’t come back. Go somewhere else.”

Well… say less.

I asked for my money back and took her advice. Good riddance. If you’re looking for authentic Thai food, this ain’t it.

First time ever at a restaurant serving pho that don't give their customers a side of veggie/herbs for garnish. When asked, the waitress said they put everything in the pho, if we want more they charge extra. The pho came out with no basil or lime, and very little bean sprouts in the bowl, all mushy and soft could hardly see it. I prefer to put my own garnish in my pho to keep it fresh and crunchy, so for sure not coming back here again. Broth did not taste good, tasted old. They only give you water if you ask for it, we sat for 20 min waiting for our food, with no water. Our drinks came after we got our food.

Poor customer service and I would never never go to that place any more. There are more restaurants nearby by that serves a better food that this restaurant. Dirty and smells disgusting!

Absolutely loved our lunch here!
My wife and I stopped in and were blown away by everything we ordered. I got the green apple milk tea with green apple jellies—10/10, highly recommend it! My wife had the mango smoothie with strawberry jellies, and that was amazing too.

We started with the crab rangoons and chicken eggrolls—honestly, the best we’ve ever had (and we've tried a lot over the years)! Super crispy, flavorful, and fresh.

For the main course, I ordered the red curry pad Thai, and wow—I wasn’t expecting that much flavor and deliciousness packed into one dish. My wife got the orange chicken, and it was juicy, sweet, and not spicy at all—just perfect.

To finish the day off we ordered the steamed banana rice cake for dessert and this is way too addicting!

We’ll definitely be back. This spot is a hidden gem!

I come here for the Massaman Curry, and have thoroughly enjoyed it every time!

Although, because I take it rather spicy, I often order one of their fancier drinks to help keep the spice from building up too much. I would love to try other options, but I don't live in town and really only come when I'm craving that particular dish. I will say that their Massaman Curry is among the best I've ever tried, and they give the potatoes in the dish a unique texture.

Dined in for lunch and while service was great, the food was bad. The crab rangoon was mediocre and the pad thai was sad. I got shrimp PT and this massive plate had only 5-6 small steamed shrimp for a $4 upcharge. It was sitting in this bland transleucent sauce that didnt resemble anything of a pad thai sauce, simply anemic. I ordered the hottest heat level and they simply added dry chili flake. They were kind and brought fish sauce on request with extra chili oil which salvaged it slightly, but at this point it became so soupy. Where's the tamarind flavor? 3rd time trying PT in WI and I'm starting to lose hope. The rangoons were too cream-cheesy and the sauce tasted one-note sweet and store-bought but I could be wrong.

Disappointed that both noodle dishes were overly salty. Ordered before and food was great, but unfortunately this time around it tasted like salt was dumped on the food. Was barely able to take two bites. Eggrolls tasted like they were sitting in oil. Every bite was like a gush of oil that even my kids refused to eat it. Thai tea was the only item that tasted great. Hoping this was just a tired and bad cook this time around.

We just wanted some good Asian food on a drive thru Oshkosh. We saw this on Google maps, and we were very pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the food. We had the noodle salad, papaya salad and basil fried rice. All tasty, and the portions were very generous. Recommend highly.

The pomegranate milk tea with Boba is delicious. I love chicken pad Thai and I got it to go... seems like it's missing sauce and flavor. Asked for medium spicey and there's no spice to it at all. Most pad Thai I've had has more of a peanut sauce. This doesn't seem to have sauce at all. It still does taste good, just not what I expected.

Stopped in recently for the Tum Kha and the coffee boba, both were amazing! I usually get my order to go and call ahead and every time I do it's delicious. The staff is always friendly and I've never had to wait long for my order even though they're always busy. I usually get the Tum Kha soup which has a zing to it but is not super spicy but it's perfect if you're trying to clear your sinuses! I've also had the Pad Pak which has a bunch of veggies and chicken, highly recommend! As long as I work in Oshkosh I will always come to Bangkok and I recommend it to everyone!

Sesame chicken - this was a super cheap sweet and sour chicken with that pre-frozen puffy batter. Tasted like McDonald's.
The panang curry was alright, the sauce that is. The vegetables served with it weren't cooked at all, totally raw and didn't seem like any care was put in to make it a part of the dish. The beef seemed microwaved.

With few patrons there it only took about 5-10 min for the food to come out which is usually a bad sign.

First off, this is not a review bashing this restaurant. I’ve been dining in and ordering from Bangkok for the past 5 years. The service is usually very welcoming and the food is good. My criticism today is the gradually increase in prices. It’s 2024, yes, everything has gone up but when my friend ordered 3 things (shrimp fried rice, 5 small egg rolls and pad se-ew) and I saw that it came out to almost 70 dollars with tip and tax I couldn’t believe it. $35 each for the fried rice to be sent with 5 overcooked shrimp in the container is wild. I really don’t like complaining because I know they work hard, but if I can get more for less at another restaurant I may have to reconsider in the future.

I was confused by the online menu phrasing about shrimp, but they basically list shrimp price...I think.

Spicy levels seem to be roughly the same as wings. Mild, medium, and hot.

Called in ahead for pickup and was quoted an accurate timeline on a Saturday night. (15 min). Impressive!

Will definitely be back in the future, and have been recommending Bangkok Thai to friends!

One of the best restaurants in Oshkosh. We like the Thai curry plates, the fried rice and noodle plates, and egg roll appetizers. Everything is reasonably priced. When ordering for pick up, the meals are generally ready in under 30 minutes. If you want to dine in, be aware that there is limited seating and it can get quite busy on Friday and Saturday nights, and there is not a huge waiting area. But the food is worth the wait, and the staff are always pleasant.

I wanted a quick bite as I passed thru town. This place was close to the highway and I like Thai food, so why not?

The speed of service was astounding. They had signs saying that they were short staffed and to expect delays. However, there was only 15 minutes between the server asking my drink order and me signing the check - something I wanted while traveling.

The food itself is superb. I got the red curry pad Thai with shrimp, with a hot spicy level. I was worried that hot wouldn't be hot enough because this is Wisconsin, but I was happy with the heat that came with it. The bean sprouts still had a lot of crunch on them, which is easy to miss in a stir fry.

This place is by far my favorite restaurant. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and the food is indescribably delicious at an extremely reasonable cost. The ingredients are always fresh and time after time my food comes out exactly as fresh and delicious as I remember from previous visits. This is a place you'll want to explore the menu, I haven't ordered anything I haven't loved but I personally recommend the creamy noodle, Panang curry, or their pho however you like it. Delicious food, I’ve had the chow mein twice now and it has not disappointed! They are very open to customization considering I’ve added bean sprouts twice and they accommodated and when my partner asked for spice on the side to add as deserved they also allowed that. The ragoons were delicious, not necessarily crab flavored or cream cheese but delicious in there own way. The boba is alright, I’m sure they have better options for boba on there menu but the strawberry jasmine tea combo wasn’t very good. But there boba pearls are cooked to perfection if you like a more chewy boba pearl. Overall I highly recommend their food, it’s a little pricy for Asian food but it’s very worth it.

This little gem is awesome! Great food, great service! On our first visit, we were seated quickly and served within 10 minutes of ordering. We had the angel noodle curry and the panang curry the first night, and it was so good we came back tonight! Same great service. We had tofu fresh rolls, veggie egg rolls, and shared a peanut curry. Get the potatoes as an extra - definitely worth it. I had a kiwi lemonade and a dragonfruit lemonade - out of this world. We highly recommend!
