Had my first experience at this location, including new and past business name. I'm not sure if the owners in the last year have done upgrades but the inside was much more pleasant than I had anticipated. Would make a cute little breakfast spot! I had the lightly breaded haddock with sweet potato fries and a fresh slice of rye bread, all was delicious! I look forward to my next visit!

Came in here for taco Tuesday. Absolutely blown away. I ordered 2 tacos from their menu and they were so good I called for the chief to come out (Mary) and shook her hand. Note: these are massive tacos, 2 will fill a normal human up.

I then ordered a quesadilla to go and a burrito for lunch tomorrow. The only change this place needs to make is tacos Tuesday on all days that end in Y. Give it a shot! I’ll be back anytime I’m back in town. Oh and of course, wonderful staff.

Had the fish fry, Everything was over cooked, and the fries were burnt. I will not go there again. There were no people in the dining area when we came in, and no one during or after we got through our dining experience. Wonder Why!!

The food at Barrel is delicious! Highly recommend the wraps! The owners, Kevin and Jenna, are the nicest people as well. It makes the experience better when the owners are such great people! I would recommend Barrel Springs to anyone to stop by even if it’s for a quick drink!

Save your money. Service was horrendous! Bartender was clueless. She took forever to get a drink. She didn't know how to give correct change. The bar had 4 other people and she was overwhelmed. Food was horrible. The patty melt was so greasy and I had 2 pieces of onion. Plus the 1000 island dressing was so thin it leaked off the burger.The cheeseburger was ok but Culvers is 100% better. We also ordered the appetizer plate with 4 choices, Nothing special. Nothing hand breaded. Only stuff you buy frozen. We will NEVER go back. Much better food & service in the area.

Worst experience of my life. So rude I mean rude. My wife an I both ordered Prime rib. I got medium rare. My wife got medium rare. Mine was raw. My wife’s was well done. I asked to have mine to be cooked more. They said no it’s a violation. I said please give me another piece. They said no. You get what we give you. I said ok take my Prime rib back and don’t charge me. They replied no. My wife an I felt like we were in another world. So rude and not willing to do anything. We paid are bill in full. Take my advise don’t eat here. Worst Prime rib of my life. I will make sure to tell everyone up here not to eat there. All they had to do is take the one dinner off. This old woman was so mean and rude.

My wife and I ordered the prime rib dinners while another couple was there calling the waitstaff and cookstaff uneducated because the steak wasn't to their liking. Rudest... customers... ever. Our prime rib was cooked to perfection and our dining experience was great. Too bad we had to eat when Karen and her husband were there. At least we got dinner and a show.

Went there with my wife. We were both very happy nice atmosphere and great food got a shrimp dinner shrimp was cooked great and absolutely huge. Wife got a fish dinner was very pleased. Sides we plentiful and very tasty will be back!!!

We had a FANTASTIC fish fry here. The salad bar was great. I'm a sucker for homemade croutons 😀 And the fish! My husband has the beer battered & I had the light battered. Both were probably the best fish I've ever had. The sides were delish. Loved our server, Katie. Also got to meet Chef Jimmy & the owner Kevin. Wonderful spot with fresh food made with heart. Highly recommend!

Wow, my wife and I got the fish fry this Friday, this is the best fish fry and poor man's lobster we've had in the area. All the food was outstanding with the chef delivering it to our table and making sure it was perfect for us. We will be back often and will bring friends with us. Great job!

New owners new chef new menu! The executive chef Jimmy Smith is great!! He came to our table twice to go over the menu with us. I’m gluten free and although they do not have gluten free on the menu he was able to make me a Caesar salad with chicken and it was amazing! Best I ever had no lie! The dressing is made from scratch daily! The meats are fresh never frozen from Iowa. The chef said he would think of something else to make gluten free for my next visit and I can’t wait. My husband had the prime rib and he said it was the best. He got a baked potato and salad bar was included he had the tomato basil soup and said it was delicious. Also the fries are cut fresh daily they were not gluten free but the husband said they were awesome.Don’t wait to try this new menu you won’t be disappointed!!
