It was a beautiful fall day we went and got to enjoy the views sitting out on the patio. We ordered the Tootsies as an appetizer and they were bomb and all my husband and I could talk about. I also had to order a cup of the clam chowder which was also just as amazing. The rest of the food was great and couldn't ask for better service. If we lived in the area we definitely would be back more frequently but will have to remember for the next time we are in the area

We had this delivered. The Maine seafood roll was beyond dry. The baked French onion was okay considering I had to make it myself with the cheese (gross in a paper) and croutons. Flavor on the soup was good. My wife got the buff chicken sandwich. She said there was a giant lack of flavor. Her soup was the bier cheese. It was a gross yogurt flavor. She had me try it to see if it seemed off. The best thing of the night was the fried pickle app. I hope this gets better as they move forward, but I am disappointed.

This place is wonderful. I came here and ate with a friend for the first time last year in the winter. Great food and drinks. It gets insanely busy around the dinner hour. I met a girlfriend here tonight out on their patio for a couple of drinks and it’s just beautiful and calming. Again, it was super busy around 5:00pm so I’d make a reservation if you’d like to be able to sit and eat but it’s a wonderful place to go to.

I was quite disappointed with their Friday fish fry. The three small breaded cod, more like nuggets, tasted like it came out of a bag of frozen fish. My friend ordered the chicken salad; the chicken tasted like it came out of a frozen bag as well, and the lettuce was wilted. Although the waitress was friendly and helpful, I don't plan to return.

Yesterday, Thursday, I went to Bass Bay brewhouse for lunch with 14 other people. Yes, we had reservations. Greetings promptly at the door and we're shown to our seats.
Atmosphere was amazing. We had seats in the covered porch facing the bay. The outdoor patio was beautiful with tables and chairs. I couldn't believe how many people were there for lunch!
Our server, our young lady, who immediately asked if we would like drinks. Now, mind you, this group of people are aged 70 to 95.
We all are a little slow , but this young lady had patience and a smile.
Food...my mom and I had the Wisconsin fried fish lunch . 2 pieces of cod, perfectly cooked, fries, and coleslaw.
But, here's the twist, mom and I saw that they were offering Salted caramel cream Brule. Oh man... guess what we did. We told our server to bring the Brule before our meal. It was like eating joy, bliss,smiles and happiness all rolled into one. We then ate our main meal.
The Brule was so good, we took 2 to go.
I will definitely return and recommend bass bay brewhouse to anyone. Thank you for taking such good care of our group.

The atmosphere was so beautiful, serene, and just a really quiet, quaint and family, friendly environment. The lake view is absolutely beautiful along with the touch of starlight lights. Our only complaint was that our beer was warm. All four adults complained of warm beer.
However, that issue is not resolved.

I've been here a few times over the years and its always been great, but tonight it was exceptional. My friend and I sat at the bar and had steaks and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My ribeye was done perfectly, as was my friend's filet and the scallops, asparagus, and potatoes were amazing and the hollandaise sauce a patron convinced me to try was a great compliment to all the food. Tyler was a great bartender...very attentive and fun to chat with. The dessert I took home (blueberry lemon tiramisu) is what I'm enjoying as I'm writing this and isa perfect way to top off an fun evening at the kitchen table over a cup of coffee. Easy 5 stars tonight!

We had a party of 13 for a 11am lunch on a Thursday. They moved some tables together and we sat outside. The weather and atmosphere along with the lakeside view was great. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with
mashed potatoes, green beans, black pepper gravy, and fresh parsley. It was excellent! I couldn't believe the amount of food on my plate even though it was supposedly the downsized lunch amount compared to their dinner size. The waiter was great with alot of humor! We were there for lunch with agroup of three. The menu had many choices for lunch including burgers, hand held sandwiches and fish dishes as well as smaller portions of their dinner menu. The prices are reasonable. We were there in mid-August and sat outdoors. We should have sat indoors due to a lot of bees, but that happens any time you eat out doors. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. We each had sandwiches that were good, but rather plain. My granddaughter ordered strawberry lemonade. It arrived without strawberry, but the waitress corrected the situation when it was brought to her attention. The bees became overwhelming, so we boxed up the remainder of our meals, ordered a dessert to go (which was amazing) and finished our food at home. Serving sizes were just right for lunch. I was full after 1/2 of the sandwich. It was served with fries which were seasoned very nicely. They also had soup and salads on the menu. The grounds around the outdoor eating area are beautiful with well-maintained flower beds and beautifully manicured lawn. The view of the lake is lovely. Keep in mind if you have not been here before, it is located inside of a very residential area. I never would have found it, but my daughter has been here before, so she knew where it was located. I hate to complain, but the waitress wasn't great. She forgot several things and didn't come back with the check for quite a while, then forgot the 'to go' dessert. I would definitely go there again. Nice place with nice atmosphere.

I absolutely love this establishment. The outdoor patio and bar are gorgeous and pet friendly. The staff adores my dogs and goes out of their way for them. Two of the waitresses even took my dog on a little walk with another dog that was there. The staff comes and talks to you and engages with you. The food is delicious. I love the giant pretzel and I usually get a salad. The drinks are also way too good! I visit Bass Bay almost every other week. I find the service to be superb.

Have been to Bass Bay 2x. Both times, service and food were excellent. Kiera(sp?) was our server and she was great. Very personable and friendly. first time we have been here! wow! you need to try this place.  the food is great, the service is great, the prices are great.  we all did the fish fry. while everyone had an after dinner drink, I had to have that flourless chocolate torte.  sorry, I started to share with others before I took the photo, but while I gave out 5 spoons of a taste, the rest was mine. I was in chocolate heaven. the only way to top that was a pontoon boat ride. Jeffery was great and so personable. if we had more time I would have had to go on a second ride. the grounds are beautiful and they had live music while we were there. we went on the 4th of july.  we stayed to watch fireworks. what a treat. this place is good for families getting together, dates for a great meal with a great view, those with well behaved dogs on the patio seating. it was a busy night but they managed to keep up and keep the place clean. great staff. I am coming back to this gem. I highly recommend you try it.

There were 10 of us in our party. Let's begin with our service. Our waiter, Gabriel, was excellent. Even though he had other tables, he was attentive, very patient, friendly, and knew the menu very well. His recommendation for food choices was spot on.
The atmosphere is on a lake, and the ground is beautifully maintained. We specifically asked to be seated in the screened in pourch because the temperature was in the 80's. The ceiling fans made the room very comfortable. The food was very good and very good and those who had desserts decide on small dishes of ice cream. I plan on returning for coffee and desert to try the poppyseed bread pudding. I kook forward to that return visit.

Beautiful, rustic but very nice place on a quiet little bay in Muskego. Dining inside and outside (a staffed bar outside as well). Beautiful new stamped concrete patio area, picnic tables on the grass near the water -a guest place to have a drink as you wait for a Pontoon ride around the Bay(the slow ride costs extra, less than 20 minutes but a fun add on as we waited for our table 9r after dinner). Live music outdoors, on some evenings, is a nice touch, too. Dinner was excellent (good portions, took half home to enjoy the next day). Dessert was an extra treat-big enough to share. Definitely make a reservation for the weekend time slots as soon as possible - they were extremely busy, thankfully well staffed-I can not wait to come back and bring more friends and family! ❤️

Horrible service. Maybe my party of 5 didn't fit your apparel standards as we weren't glitz and glamorous. The waitress took 15 minutes to get drink orders. Another 25 to take our food order. Then the waitress puts a food item in wrongly to the kitchen and it took forever for her to even check on our table. My poor kid didn't even want to eat the corrected order because he didn't want to eat alone. Good thing I sat with my food not eaten while we waited for the waitress and then for the food to be cooked correctly. Extra drinks or water checks? Not with our waitress.

I live just 3 minutes away from Bass Bay Brewhouse and have been coming here once a month for years, whether with my partner, family, or friends. I keep coming back for the beautiful lakefront view and peaceful ambiance, but I feel compelled to share something that’s been weighing on me.

This is probably the fifth time I’ve left here feeling singled out and uncomfortable. The environment often feels less inclusive to people from diverse backgrounds, and I’ve consistently felt a subtle but real sense of exclusion at this restaurant. Today’s brunch experience was especially disappointing. We were seated at the only table without an umbrella, directly under the harsh sun, even though plenty of shaded tables were available and remained empty.

Our server didn’t bring us water with ice, something I’ve always experienced as a basic courtesy at restaurants. I asked for hot sauce and was given an almost empty bottle, but moments later I saw the table next to us (who had just asked for the same thing) receive a brand-new Cholula bottle.

When we politely brought up the seating issue to our server and suggested they consider sun exposure when seating guests, rather than acknowledging the concern, we were told that next time we should ask to change our table ourselves. That response felt dismissive and lacking in basic hospitality.

I’m sharing this not out of anger, but because I believe in fairness and in creating welcoming spaces for everyone. I continue to come here because it’s close to home and I truly enjoy the view, but I hope this feedback is taken to heart so no other guest has to leave feeling the way I did today.

2025 update: beautiful patio and outdoor area on the lake with a dock. Full drink and food menu with lots of options between Burger, salads, steaks, fish tacos, and more. Food is good, ambiance is great, come here if you want to enjoy a view and aren't rushed (it's normally pretty busy and a bit in the slow side).

2022 update. Beautiful patio and area (so upped to 3 stars), and still want to like the place. However, waited an hour for apps, salads and a kid Mac and cheese on a tuesday. The loaded fries were delicious, but only the size of a side order and cost $13. The salad with chicken was also the size of a side salad but cost $17, even confirmed with the server it was a full order. Want to like this place but they keep striking out on the food. Come here for drinks and patio, skip the food.

2021: Unfortunately I have to rate this at two stars as the fishfry was overcooked and rubbery even after waiting over 45 minutes after we ordered on an unusually non-busy night. Good atmosphere/building, and a place I want to like, but doesn't live up to the rating.

The food is usually spot on this time it was off a little. The chicken was dry the prime rib was cold and tough. 2 weeks prior it was amazing so I feel maybe a different cook. Our bill was $101.00 for 2 meals with a sprite and cider beer no appetizer. We sat at the bar because no wait or one hour wait for a table

The Mother's Day brunch buffet had lots of choices and they were all delicious. The dessert choices were plentiful and small so we could sample many of them. We've already decided to return next year for Mother's Day brunch. We'll also return to try regular menu items.

My lovely girlfriend and I had a wonderful date night at this fine establishment. Everyone, from the wait staff, the bar tenders, hostess, chef, were so kind. The food was excellent! The chicken fried chicken was sooooo good that I already am craving going back. I have a Wisconsin old fashioned about once a year and tonight was the night..... delicious.
Next time we return, we definitely plan on sitting out on the patio. Such a beautiful property.

I had a good time at Bass Bay Brewhouse. The outdoor seating was awesome and made for a really enjoyable experience. It's a great spot to eat, relax, and take in the view.

I didn't sit indoors myself, but I did notice it was pretty crowded and loud, which might make it a bit hard to have a conversation. But from where I was sitting outside, the atmosphere seemed lively. I highly recommend making a reservation for outdoor seating when the weather is nice, which should also help you avoid a long waiting line.

The food was great. The fish options were especially good, and everyone at our table loved the starters. The burrata was great! I got the Cheeseburger Deluxe, and it was okay. The toppings were a bit too much.

The service was also top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, which really added to the positive vibe.

The only real downside was the restroom situation. They only have one toilet, and it was really dark in there. A little improvement in that area would go a long way.

Overall, Bass Bay Brewhouse is a nice spot. I think I'll be coming back.

Had a great meal with a friend! Beautiful setting and fabulous menu! We each had the bartenders choice Bloody Mary infused with roasted veggies and all the toppings. We shared a Salmon Power Salad with Spicy honey vinaigrette- so darn good. Then shared the Tenderloin Tips- Garlic Char Crusted Beef Tips, Caramelized Onions, Fingerling Potatoes, Mushrooms, Asparagus, Garlic Herb Butter, Shaved Parmesan, Microgreens.

You won’t be disappointed! I wish we had room for dessert! You can even get a 20 min pontoon ride around the bay as you have a cocktail before dinner!

Food is bland and uninspired. The menu seems to be the same. I've had the pre rib sandwich, and it was nothing to brag about. But they do have the pulled ham, whixh was phenomenal. The fish fry and the pulled ham, and try the bacon Mac n cheese. For the prices the quality of food could be better. And the prime rib Sammy was very under seasoned. As a fine dining venue, the must strive to better. They have potential to be great, but seems to have a lazy head chef.

For the last four years, I have enjoyed going to Bass Bay Brewhouse for Easter Brunch. I absolutely love it. There are so many different options to choose from. The food is so amazing! The cheesie potatoes, shredded ham, and the desserts are my favorite!!! The staff is super nice, too! 👌

I went to Bass Bay Brewhouse for Easter with family. They had an Easter brunch, and it was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend going here. They have outdoor seating right on the lake, and it's just wonderful. Highly recommend this hidden gem!
