I would go back! The seating is comfortable and the atmosphere is nice. I had the vegetarian stir fry. It was very good. I am almost sure it was vegan. There were less vegetables than I expected. The flavor was very good. The prices were fair. The chips and sauces is a fun appetizer. Next time I go, I am going to see if I can substitute the cheese sauce since I can't eat cheese. The food here made me and my partner sick. I don't know why we kept going back hoping the result would be different (we were staying at the hotel and it's cheap and convenient) but especially the breakfast made me just so sick. It seems much of their food is likely not made in-house.

First Friday of Wisconsin journey and wife's niece took us here. Had the Friday fish fry with perch. Can't begin to say how good that was. Best Cole slaw I've ever had, and the loaded mashed potatoes were amazing. Dessert of Wisconsin ice cream topped off a perfect meal. Very dog friendly on the patio with a pet menu and bowls of water. Our waitress Jen was one of the most fun servers I've ever met and made the trip worth it by herself. If we're ever lucky enuf to return, I will demand to be seated in Jen's section. We came on Friday night and we were able to sit out on the patio. The waitress we had wasn’t even suppose to be our waitress, we weren’t in her section, but she was amazing. We brought out of town guest with us, from colorado. She stopped and explained in depth a fish fry for them. Went out of her way to check on us. Even looked for whole milk…. They didn’t have any. A spinal surgical center nearby, orders food from here for their patients for overnight stays. After spinal surgery, I ordered a soft pretzel with cheese. Their rendition of a soft pretzel with cheese sauce is pretzel sticks with a queso type of dip. Extremely dissapointing and queso sauce with green chilis and tomatoes is not what I wanted or expected with a soft pretzel. (Unless it's advertised) So much for having a meal after surgery and what a waste of insurance dollars. It sure would be nice if their menu choices reflected the food that is served.

The last time I was here, I was charged for a second drink that I did not order and was told by the waitress that it was on the house. The drink was added to my bill. I was brought the wrong food and was asked if I wanted that playe instead of what I had ordered. By the time my food made it to the table everyone in my party had already finished eating. I've been here with several coworkers on multiple occasions, and each and every time the service has gotten worse. Do not recommend unless they get better servers, preferably ones that don't smell like alcohol like they were just drinking.

Will be back! My wife and I were looking for dog-friendly patios for brunch on a Sunday morning. This little gem was something I wasn't expecting. First, the bartender (ugh! I wish I could recall his name) was exceptional! So happy, so easy-going, so willing to please. He was quick and offered descriptions of everything.

Next came the food. I had a breakfast quesadilla. STUFFED! So filling and so hearty! My wife had real corn beef, eggs, and hashbrowns. She left complaining that she ate too much, but it was because everything tasted so good.

Lastly, I should note that we didn't sit outside this time (it was hovering around 70 degrees), but I went outside to look at the facilities. This place is packed! A pickleball court, plenty of seating, there was even a minigolf area! So we sat at the bar. All I can say is that we will be back the next time we want to watch a sporting event at a bar. Clean, appealing, and enough tv's to choke a donkey!

Batley's is a nice place to get a variety of different foods. They have the sports bar area that is a bit louder at times. But also easier to get a seat at times when the restaurant is busy. Not much vegan friendly food. The burger sauce and curry dressing both contain egg I was told, so I went with the burrito bowl without the cheese or sour cream. Another great happy hour at Batley's! Is this a 5 star Michelin restaurant? Of course not. Is it a 5 star restaurant and bar at a local hotel? Of course it is! Happy hour old fashioneds and the $5 chips and dip are so good! The club salad with blackened chicken is very reasonable for the price. The service from Liz and Damaris is 5 stars all day, and it's a good atmosphere inside, and even better (yes 5 stars) outside in the warmer weather! All of their drink and food specials are winners! BURNED BY BATLEYS
You would think after being burned by this place three other times in the past we would learn our lesson but we live right up the street. In the past few months they have forgotten our order completly, we waited hours before they acknowledged it, then gave us a gift certif and we called again a different time weeks later and got super raw burgers that were not safe to eat and cold inside. This is the final and last time and we risked it and paid the price again. High priced low quality meals. We wanted a corn beef without having to go across town. It was three narrow slices of beef, 5 baby carrots, 1/3 of a potato that as raw, hard and starchy, and the cabbage was a wedge of a cabbage to fill the plate and make up for the little portions and sadly it was so very raw it was inedible. Burned the final and last time by Batleys.

Came for Friday night fish fry it was a little busy we were told about 30 minutes and we decided to stay it ended up being about 15 minutes and we were shown to our table my we ordered our drinks and cheesecurds for an appitizer we both ordered the 2 piece haddock with a baked potato and coleslaw. Our cheesecurds were excellent and our dinner order was out before had finished them and everything about it was great the fish perfect with a light crispy and perfectly cooked the baked potatoes and coleslaw sides were also very good. The service was very good without being intrusive. The tables and booths and the overall atmosphere at Batley's is warm and friendly great dining experience.

Lol, I'll start by saying everything that could go wrong did. There is a silver lining. I placed an order through door dash, dash was down. No one realized this. Always a great stop. I always feel like they give extra care to things when I stop in. Bloody Mary's are great. Music outside in the summer on their patio in a great setting, and gas fire pits to enjoy a nice summer night.

Pretty good specials overall to go with the good food. With ample parking, this is a pretty easy decision to stop. Summer months there's volleyball and live music on Thursdays so may be a bit more busy than normal. They draw a nice crowd for these events.

We ordered delivery and it was delivered 90 minutes later. We were told the delivery would be within a hour. Delivery driver had a flat tire. It is an unfortunate situation, however the food was cold . I did put it in our air fryer which helped. That being said I am shocked that they would not contact the customer and let them know of the issue, and remake the order. It was a Friday night and I am sure they were busy but that is no excuse.

Food is okay. The problem starts with the bar being in charge of Pickleball courts. I called the hotel (Best Western Bridgewood) before booking and inquired about courts. They were being painted on Friday and would be ready to use Saturday. Booked the hotel stay with grandkids. Also purchased a pickleball set to use. We all went to bar on Saturday to schedule pickleball and were told courts were closed until Tuesday. Next, signed up for free pretzel sticks appetizer before trip. When we tried to use the coupon we were told since we ordered the two desserts for $10 we were not able to use coupon. Hint, use the pretzel coupon at a different time than the dessert special.
Chicken tenders, thin, dry, not worth it. Chicken caprese flatbread was good.
Cheese curds ($11) were good. Quesadilla ($11) was good.

All the food we had at our table of 6 was excellent! Would definitely recommend the Thai curry wrap and the burrito bowl! Bonus outdoor playground for kids to run around.

If this place could be rated as zero, that is what it would get. If you are expecting Ground Round quality good, you will be disappointed! This was our first visit since the name change, and it will be our last. We were hoping for a nice breakfast out as a family. The steak melt is a child size portion and you get LESS than a serving as your “side” of fruit for $15. The gravy says it’s homemade, but it was gross and looked like it had sat all day and I received the bottom of whatever was left. We left hungry and EXTREMELY disappointed. Save your money. Honestly, Hardee’s or frozen waffles would’ve been better.

If I could give a zero I would. I'm a kitchen manager at restaurant in Appleton and let me tell you I would have fired every cook today here. 1st was told we had 5 minutes to order due to change over 4 lunch. Server waited till last minute to take our order. 35+ minutes later our food arrives. Mind you the place why pretty empty now. Food was cold hashbrows were old dry didn't come as order. Both kids meals were down right unedable My steak melt was any thing but that. Didn't eat a thing . I wouldnt give that crap to my dog. We will NEVER RETURE. Customers beware

We frequent Batley's on occasion. Generally, good food. Tried the fish tonight and it was not good at all. The perch tasted like very bland white fish. The sides were great.

We are locals staying in the attached hotel to utilize pool area. This is the first visit I've made since it was Ground Round. I was hoping there would be an improvement in food choice and quality over what Ground Round used to offer. We arrived at 7pm on a Wednesday for dinner. We waited at least 5 minutes at hostess desk for someone to come out. Eventually we saw a restaurant worker walk out of the back to go to a table and we asked if someone would be out to seat us. She said they were getting ready to close soon so she wasn't sure, but we could go to the bar and order food on there. Bar person who waited on us was friendly.

Unfortunately, the food doesn't seem to be much improved. We had 3 kids and two adults. Kids menu consisted of the usual offerings and they were only $6ish. The food reflected that low cost. Chicken strips brought in kids meal differed from strips brought as part of adult meal. Kids meal included 3 chicken strips that were extremely cheap and obviously frozen ones. Mac cheese was boxed kind. None of the adult food or children's meals had much flavor. Everything we had looked like it was food that had been heated in a microwave. I would not recommend this place if you're looking for anything but some microwaved bar food. It's unfortunate there isn't a better restaurant attached to this hotel.

This bar and grill is easily one of the best places I’ve ever been, not just for the food, but for the overall experience, including the service and atmosphere. Our server, whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, was fantastic—she made sure our drinks were refilled fast without us even needing to ask.

As shown in the picture, I ordered the Batley’s Burger and loaded fries. The burger was cooked perfectly to my request, with a pink center, and both the burger and fries were phenomenal. Each ingredient in the burger was flavorful, and the patty itself had an incredible taste.

I visited a day after my 18th birthday and was persuaded by my mother to ask for the birthday song and dessert. While I was initially embarrassed since I don’t like being sung birthday songs, HUGE SHOUTOUT to Anthony for making it an enjoyable experience. He even told me afterward that he wrote the song himself, so if his bosses are reading this whatever he’s getting paid, GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE! He made my visit memorable and is a big reason I’ll continue to come back.

Although I didn’t get a picture, we were served five fried Oreos with ice cream that were plated beautifully. Words can’t describe how delicious they were. I guarantee, if you come here, you won’t be disappointed.

We've been really impressed by Batley's. It's becoming one of our favorite places to go in the Fox Cities. Great happy hour and daily specials. Love the ambiance! Consistently great service and love the facelift that the place got with the change in concept... We even met the owners at the outdoor patio and were so happy to connect and talk about their vision for this restaurant. It truly is a special place! Especially outdoor patio and music if you have a beautiful Wisconsin day.
