In order to review this time, I had to remove my last 5 star review from 2 years ago.
We just went on a Saturday recently and the prices have gone up considerably..it is now $26 per person for the buffet that includes the entire buffet and on Saturday it was a seafood one that included Prime Rib for what is included on the buffet the price is well worth it.
My issue is the flies..my husband killed 5 of them..we got there just before they opened and I mentioned to our waitress about them. This is something I definitely feel should be checked before opening..especially on those giant windows on the "porch" part of the dining area. I find flies to be pretty disgusting and when you are trying to enjoy a meal and not eat one....or constantly waiving them out of your face..it is NOT enjoyable.

We held our 50th anniversary party here recently and everything was amazing!! They made sure everything was the way we requested and they were friendly and accommodating. Our guests loved the food and the atmosphere. Thanks to Mike and his staff for making our special day so wonderful!!

It's definitely worth the trip and would go more often if it was closer. Food isn't necessarily spectacular but it's certainly not bad at all, just what you might expect for a buffet with a variety of things to choose from.

We tried the Sunday Brunch buffet...
In a nutshell: I've had better buffets at hotels with free breakfast. Small selection of options, and what was there was mediocre at best. The only thing I can say I actually enjoyed was the strawberry torte for dessert. I love a good brunch, unfortunately this was not it for us. The fact that there were only 2 other tables seated at noon on a Sunday should have been our first clue.
While the food disappointed, I have to say I can't complain at all about our server. She did an excellent job.

Tried two all you can eat buffets. The Friday fish and chicken buffet was very good. The fish was on the bland side and not crispy, chicken was very good, and all the food was always stocked and hot. The Sunday brunch was excellent! Great choices all around for anyone. Homemade desserts were very good. The homemade salads were all excellent! The best coleslaw. I even had some for dessert! Very friendly workers each time. Our favorite supper club so far!

My Beaver Dam High School class held our 55th Reunion luncheon gathering at Bayside. We were served a WONDERFUL buffet of items of our choosing - all prepared to delicious perfection. Our group members were VERY pleased with the selection & tastiness, all at a very reasonable & affordable price!! Mike & his staff had our gathering area all set up as we requested & there was plenty of seating for everyone in our group of 84. There were NO complaints heard from ANYone. AMAZING!! (Because anyone who has ever organized such group events knows, this rarely happens!!) This venue is fully handicapped accessible with plenty of parking, nice clean bathrooms & full cash bar. We highly recommend Bayside for your group gatherings - or any time. You will not be disappointed!! And Mike is very easy to work with & very accommodating. We plan to return with our group for our next gathering!! THANK YOU Mike & your staff!!

Had a 65th birthday party for my brother in law there last night 5/18/24 with 13 people, family from OK, IL, and surrounding area. Everyone's meal was exceptional. Great service, reasonable prices, every person attending said they would like to come back. Not much better recommendation than that.

My husband and I had a lovely Easter Brunch. Delicious.
We have a very elderly neighbor who has lost his wife and child in last couple years. We wanted to buy and take him a very small amount of the beautiful buffet so he too could have a nice Easter dinner. Darlene, the owner went above and beyond to allow us to purchase a small buffet to go. He absolutely loved it. People like Darlene are a rare and compassionate kind of human beings. Attended a gun show at this place. We enjoyed the gun show. We were going to get something to eat there until we seen the prices. We got there a little bit early so we sat at the bar. The drinks were very high as well. 3 dollars for a glass of soda. So if you go there for a gun show I suggest eating before you go there.

Tonight was my first night ever going here even though I've lived in the area all my life. The fish was phenomenal, the cod and perch was warm and buttery and perfectly cooked and battered. We also had the prime rib, and it was jam packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. It has been years since I haven't had to take home part of my meal in a to-go box, but the food was so fantastic I cleared my plate! Our waitress Pam was awesome too! She was so attentive, friendly, and took the time to make polite conversation even though she was swamped. She made us feel like we were right at home. We're definitely going to make it here a lot more often!
