The best restaurant in Adams hands down. Breakfast, lunch, dinner options, all the fun desserts so much to look at, ice cream shop. Fantastic bakery and you can pre-order cakes & desserts for events. We were nearby visiting for turkey hunting and stopped in for breakfast on Mother’s Day. The service was amazing, the French toast I had was the best I have ever had. Their menu was miles long with so many good options. Would love to come back lol the next time we are visiting and try their lunch menu. The customers/locals were even friendly. They offer Endless amounts and varieties of baked goods and ice cream. I got a chocolate covered strawberry and a cupcake (massive sized cupcake) and they were both awesome! Will definitely be back !

I got a burger once and it was covered in baked beans. I freaked and Becky graciously replaced it at no charge. I bought a marked down item once and it was moldy and they were again very helpful and gave me a fresh replacement at no charge AND my money back to boot. I really love this place it is a little high priced but worth it. A good place to take friends and family or get a great sweet treat.

I recently purchased an apple pie from Becky's Sugar Shack for our Thanksgiving dessert, drawn in by their claim of homemade goodness. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment when I discovered the ingredients list in my car. To my dismay, it included Red Dye 40 and yellow 5.

It's perplexing for a family-owned business to use such artificial additives, especially when promoting a homemade product. Many of us support local businesses for their commitment to quality and wholesome ingredients, and seeing harmful dyes in a pie feels contradictory to that ethos.

To make matters worse, when I went back into the store to request a refund for the $26 pie, I was refused. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and let down.

I truly believe that family-owned establishments should reflect the values of the communities they serve. I hope Becky's Sugar Shack reconsiders their ingredient choices and customer service approach to align more closely with the expectations of their loyal customers. After this experience, I’m hesitant to return.

So I got the firecracker chicken Omelet but in a bowl and the ended up working with me which was awesome and it turned out absolutely amazing. Never had any better breakfast!! Service was friendly and quick. Stopped for fish fry. My soup was french onion. Cheese on top was cold, soup was so salty I couldn't eat it and it did not have many onions. Would have been okay if it had not been like eating soup concentrate. Fish nuggets and shrimp were hot and ok. Definitely more of a fast food fish fry than other places. I think this place is probably way better for its breakfast items. It does have excellent pastries, cupcakes and cookies. Cute place, friendly, kind waitress, but dinner was not our favorite. It was our first visit.

My friend and I stopped by for lunch today and we decided to go to Becky's Sugar Shack. We've been there before and we've enjoyed our meals on a prior visit. We encounter a rather rude young waitress. We both ordered a cold salad sandwich on marble rye. Our sandwiches came out on white bread and my friend pointed out that these aren't what we ordered. The waitress went to the kitchen and literally came back with 4 slices of marble rye bread and we were expected to remake our sandwiches with this replacement bread!!! She then had the audacity to look at us and say, "what?? you wanted them on marble rye right??" We were absolutely blown away that we were expected to scrape the tuna salad and egg salad along with lettuce and tomatoes from the sandwiches in front of us, to these 4 slices of bread!!! AT THE TABLE nonetheless 🤦🏼‍♀️ before it was said and done, the owner came out and reprimanded US for upsetting her waitress!!! Are you kidding me!!! This waitress was rude from the minute she plopped our menus out on the table and asked what we wanted to drink. Guessing we were interrupting her day!! Many tables hadn't been bussed and the dining room was dirty!! Definitely NOT the same place we'd been to in the past!! What a shame!! Neither of were pleased with our service and the food wasn't very good. In addition to the attitude of the servicer and the owner, the fact that the dining area was dirty and the food wasn't very good, there were TWO signs on our table begging for tips!! Tips are given to waitstaff deserving of tips!!! We also give at least 20% tips!!! Needless to say, a very small tip was left!!! Unfortunately, my wallet was fresh out of participation trophies!!! We won't be back😤

I never seen an owner of a business be such a bully towards their customers like THIS before!! As I scrolled down thru the negative reviews, she bullies each one of them and belittles each comment!! Your waitress was told on marble rye!!! By BOTH of us!!! It's NOT our fault she was in a terrible mood BEFORE we even approached our table!! This is always a must go for us for breakfast and sweet treats. It's my daughter's favorite place to go and she is always excited to see the decorations which are always changing. The food is home-made and all the pastries are fresh with a wide selection to chose from. They have maybe a dozen different ice creams to chose from which is great on a hot summer day.

Take my advice and never order anything from here to be delivered. They will over charge your credit card and rip you off. There is no way in hell 5 Chicago Style Hot Dogs 2 with French fries and 3 with Onion rings comes to a total of $85.49. Even if you went to one of the 2 Portilo's Hot Dogs in Madison WI you would not be charged that much. Also the Owner of this place is a Rude Miserable Excuse of a Human Being and a Rip Off Artist. We had an absolutely wonderful time at Becky's Sugar Shack! The ladies behind the counter seem like people who just love baking/cooking and it really shows through in their food. Our kids each got a pastry for breakfast and they ate them so fast because they said they were absolutely delicious; our youngest even got a second one (and he hardly eats anything at restaurants). My husband got the biscuits and gravy with the regular gravy and said it was the best version of this dish he has ever had. He highly recommends all biscuits and gravy lovers stop by and give this a shot. The portions were so much bigger than we'd anticipated, too. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the ladies running the place were kind and helpful. We're so glad we stopped by and recommend everyone else to come eat here, too!

Wow if you're looking for a delicious meal made with love stop in at Becky's Sugar Shack. I tried the Italian Beef Melt, delicious is an understatement. The homemade Texas toast was the best homemade bread I've ever tried. While you wait for you lunch you have the opportunity to look and think about the desserts you'll be purchasing on your way out.

We ordered the deliciously filling pizza (there's no skimping on the toppings either, it's piled on there) which I only wish I would've tried sooner.

They have homemade bakery, gift baskets, icecream, incredible waffles with sweet cream (which I've had, and also found amazing) they serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, apps, snacks, etc...its really a very cute shop, alot to look and drool at.

You can eat in or take out. The woman that took our order was extremely nice, I spun a wheel for a chance to win something, and won 6 hand-dipped oreos that were also very tasty & decorated quite cute.

I have been here for breakfast and dinner about a year apart from each other and I must say that I am still very impressed.

Ordered from here and was completely shocked at my bill. Ordered 2 Italian beefs and a 14 inch pizza with 2 drinks. Delivery came and it was $69. WTH?? Almost $18 for a beef and fries is insane even with inflation today. Unless maybe you are a tourist. 14 inch pizza got turned into a personal pan pizza which was fine that's what I was charged for but on the menu says free drink with a personal pan. I was still charged for 2 drinks. With a tip my bill was $74 for 2 people. This is NOT a fancy restaurant mind you. I looked at my receipt again the next morning and realized there was a bakery charge of $10. I figured it was too late to complain. Especially since whichever woman took my order I had to repeat myself over 3 times I doubted she would remember the order from the night before since she couldn't remember my order as I was giving it to her. Never again will I or many other people I know ever step foot in this outrageously overpriced establishment again

Phenomenal service and food. I was expecting a decent burger given the reviews and crowd, but what I got- Lasso Burger, was amazing! Common toppings done impeccably well! The sauce was devine, as was the bacon. Purchased a large container of their honey cinnamon butter and cannot wait to try it. As a local from the area, I always loved Becky's but I feel as if the service has significantly gone down. Their fish sandwich is great, chicken dumping soup is amazing, but the service is no longer how it used to be. My mother and I sat down and got out drink order, and when I asked if I should order at the counter, the waitress said it wasnt necessary. We then saw others sit down, and some go to the counter to get their orders in. The waitress took the other order that sat down before, which is alright. We waited though for over 20 minutes without being helped whether we stood at the counter or not. I was super disappointed in the service, as I really do love this place. :(

As I use to come here pretty often, I recently got wind of how employees are treated... Employees that are not family I should say... There food is good and worth the price.. treats on the other hand... Not so much..
I don't support unfair treatment and over priced treats just because they can.. in a world that's so harsh it's sad to hear even a place who promotes being welcoming to people, is not so welcoming to their employees...
For sure could do better.

What a gem! Baked goods and treats surround you in this charming bakery and cafe. The bakery (rhubarb pie) and sandwiches (Reuben and mushroom smothered beef) we ordered were fabulous and the mushroom soup was some of the best I have ever had. Stopped in on our way thru order Italian beef basket , my buddy ordered the Hawaiian burger basket. Atmosphere was decent. The lady behind the counter was nice. Ordered n sat down.. food arrived, beef was ok at best, wrong bread beef tasted like it came from the deli at Walmart, Au jus was wrong, basic frozen bag fries.. Hawaiian burger had canned pineapple on it was ridiculously messy and came again with the typical frozen bag fries.. I accepted the fact of mediocre food based on the area but when I went to pay and realized that our bill was over $40 for two mediocre sandwiches and frozen french fries. Outrageous!! I don't recommend and I wouldn't be back..

Took my daughter for lunch we both got the beefs. Was shocked at the price but my daughter and I really like beef sandwiches! Was shocked at the amount of beef. So much on the roll! Not sure what they did to the peppers and onions but they were black! Tried one and tasted pickled. Tator tots were ok. Just not 4.99 quality. My daughter and i thought it was a little pricy for they quality and amount i got. Becky came and checked on the register and was like well see this is how it's rung up with complete attitude! I felt was uncalled for! I was offended she felt the need to be mean to me. Sadly won't be returning.

After a long morning of turkey hunting, had to replenishment and give Becky's Sugar Shack a try for breakfast. The 2 slices of Funnel French Toast was tasty. It was more than enough and could split that between 2 people. I will come again to try the lunch.

Becky's Sugar Shack is a hidden gem with a nice atmosphere, lots of options for baked and dipped sweets, and some sandwich/food options. I had a mini peanut butter pie and a scoop of ice cream in a sugar cone. Everything was delicious.

As an Adams local, I can safely say this is one of the best food places we have. The food itself is always delicious, especially the pizzas and taco tots. The bakery has a large selection and plenty of yummy treats. Prices seem high at times, but your what you get, along with the amazing atmosphere inside, I say it's totally worth it!

With handcrafted soups, delicious sandwiches, fulfilling breakfast, and simply wonderful sweets, Becky’s Sugar Shack is a premier staple to Adams County right in the center of town! As a regular, I come in here at least once a week always craving a good lunch or breakfast. I recommend their Biscuits and Gravy or their Reuben Sandwich. However, their soups, which they make from scratch, are also quite lovely and perfect for a cold day outside. (I particularly love their Beefy Mushroom.)

We found this place after living in town for over a year, our first order was amazing!! The chicken wrap is the best we've ever had ! The Philly beef sandwich is out of this world good !

We went and tried their breakfast burrito the southwestern... you have to try !!! Hands down the best place in Adam's County

Just moved to the area. Becky's Sugar Shack is awesome! Not sure how they make their caramel corn, but it's so addicting. Best place in town to buy a cake too. Their dinner special was also very yummy.

I love Becky's, the food, bakery and ice cream has always been enjoyable. The staff has always been decent to me and my kids. I like the quiet environment and the smell of the fresh baked goods.
