The problem here is that when you want to come eat here on a weekend night, they are always packed and always have long wait lists. So even when they get you seated you will be waiting for a while before you get your food but your food will be great quality. If you complain about the wait times on here then you need to come on a weekday or at like 2pm.

My wife and I and my Arkansas family have been coming to Bents now for 3 years.
The staff service bartenders food are all FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! The bar was wall to wall busy every single nite so yes we might have to wait a few minutes to sit get a drink or something to eat. Had issues with a woman in the backroom who demanded the bartender turn down the jukebox so her kids could listen to their music in the backroom. We had just played the box to play a few songs. The bartender turned down our music as the woman told us she spent $3,500 to stay there. Then walked out the front door coming back with 4 men as I guess back up. The bartender in the meantime apologized that she didn't know how to turn the music down in the backroom. The point is that the music we played was special to all 4 of us as they celebrated friends getting together and the anniversary of my transplant. We left and let them have the whole place.

We ate at the restaurant and the service was poor, and our food was overcooked and cold. I ordered a filet medium rare, and it was gray with no hint of pink. They did comp me for the steak. It took almost 2 hours to get our food, and to have it be poor was disappointing. I would not go back.

Restaurant: we were seated right away and given water. The good service stopped there. It took 15-20 min for our server to take our order. We didn't see her for another 20-30 minutes when we flagged her down for a refill on water. 15 minutes later, we asked for a status on food. Reason I gave 3 stars for rooms is because 5 guys stayed in the Big Chief cabin. The upper loft has spiral stairs to get to it. It was difficult at times. Otherwise the owners, staff, and service was excellent. The food is also excellent.

We were there for the NorthWoodstock music festival. Loved it. Had a great time. The music was great Can’t wait for next year. My only suggestion would be to start earlier in the day. The main event was overshadowed by the mosquitoes on Friday night. BoDeans started and within an hour we had to leave. Our mosquito spray only seemed to taunt them.

We have been regulars at Bent’s Camp for many years! So much history here and definitely our favorite for all ages in our family. Stop in for food, drinks, clothing, souvenirs, and bait. The food is excellent, the view from the indoor bar is stunning, the outdoor bar area is beautiful, and the staff go out of their way to be accommodating! They have a regular line-up of musicians on the weekends in the summer, and frequently throughout the winter months as well. Bent’s is just always fun! We have a cabin on the Chain, but have had family stay here and the accommodations are great. The BEST place on the chain to get a taste of the Northwoods! They have it all! ALSO…the BEST games if you have littles with you ❤️

This review is about the restaurant. We arrived at 5:30. It was our first ever dinng. The hostess gave us lunch menus. We wanted supper menus that featured grilled shrimp we read about on their website but told by waitress (child) only deep-fried or boiled. The shrimp were tough and lacking taste. We asked for cocktail sauce. She charged us for cocktail sauce.
Every entry automatically included plastic cups of baked beans and potato salad, and coleslaw from yesterday. The bottom of the coleslaw was brown and old
This restaurant's reputation what's quality food an excellent customer service. It appears this facilities food service has slipped into cafeteria style Foods.
$75 for two adult meals it's just not worth it. This Google level 8 reviewer cannot recommend this restaurant.

Food in lodge good just be prepared to wait. Stayed in an cute cabin on the far edge of the resort. Friendly staff. If renting boats be sure and inspect motor with a bents employee before signing anything or you could be paying for damage done by someone else. LOTS of underwater obstacles that damage props etc. Also don't count on the website for prices. We were charged the daily rate instead of the weekly rate for the 9hp motor and boat, AND one of the cabin rates went up. Gift cards can only be used in the restaurant and bar.

The outdoor seating is very comfortable.. But be forewarned: this is God's country, slower paced, just relax have a Bents Brew and be patient (You get more bees with honey) because this place fills up QUICKLY so there usually is a wait..maybe a long one. We went for dinner tonight and it was top notch. My husband is a tough critic when it comes to a good steak dinner and he gave it 5 stars on quality of the steak + cooked to perfection. He paired it with lobster Mac n’ cheese which was also incredible. I chose the Ribs with sweet potato fries and it was also amazing. Our kids had grilled cheese + fries and the portions were huge!! The location is absolutely gorgeous and very clean!! The staff was welcoming, attentive, and friendly. Our kids enjoyed playing in the small arcade while they waited for their food. They have a beautiful gift shop filled with unique items. Highly recommend Bent’s Camp if you are traveling thru the Northwoods.

Several cabin sizes are available from 2 bedroom on up. The cabins are situated among the trees and Mamie lake is a few steps away. The location has a full service restaurant that serves lunch and dinner. You can rent fishing boats or pontoon boats. There is a very small beach and a swim float in the lake.

Food has gotten pretty bad but the service is the main issue - it’s absolutely pathetic. Unbelievable. You will sit at the bar for 20 minutes minimum while the bartenders do nothing but talk to each other, count their tips, count a cash drawer, or look out at the lake. Won’t even acknowledge you. Never seen anything like it in my life. The staff truly just does not care. They could not move any slower. We’ve put up with it for the last 2-3 years and haven’t said a thing but at this point we’ve just had enough. I hope the owners lose this place and someone new comes in who remembers how special it used to be and brings it back. Came here 20-25 times a summer for decades. Today August 5 2023 my husband and I went to this place on the recommendation from a friend because we are not from the area or the state and sad to say this was the worst place we have ever eaten since we’ve been up here. We waited 20 minutes for a server who never came and when my husband went to ask the hostess and she had to go to the young (kid) man about college age to be our waiter. We then ordered our drinks and food which we had one soda and one water. The menus CLEARLY state that all sodas were $3 and frees refills so when my husband brought this up to the kid at the end because our bill showed we were charged with 2 sodas the gentleman argued with my husband saying in his 9 years here he never heard of that and when we showed him the menu where it clearly states it he still argued with my husband because he wanted what the menu said honored and the kid said he isn’t gonna change the charge on the bill anyway and left it there he said he didn’t care what the menu said. They have no manager as you have to tell the hostess which she was very nice and understanding but the young man was rude and telling lie’s saying my husband was rude from the start and he was causing problems and that’s why no one was wanting to serve us. Also the buffalo chicken sandwich is just a regular chicken sandwich with little to no buffalo sauce or spices on it. Never again to this place. Just HORRIBLE.
