My food & my parents food was great but my brothers sucked! He ordered a steak prepared medium I came well done! I’m a vegetarian and I could even have prepared that correctly! Our waitress barely spoke English and hovered over us while my dad paid in cash. She also refused to let us charge our meal to the room even though the receipt said we could! We considered going back because 3/4 meals were fine but after her behavior we decided against it! She also said you come back tomorrow and the next day and the next day when she found out we were staying at the hotel. Seriously? I would tell you her name but none of us could understand her when she said it and she wasn’t wearing a name tag. Sorry.

It was my cousin's birthday and she wanted lasagna everything else was booked. The waitresses were great and so was the dessert. Pizza sucks. Ordered carryout. Was quickly prepared but wasn't hot. Could have been cooked more. Sauce is completely flat. No spice, taste, etc. Doughy crust and the cheese mix leaves a lot to be desired. On a scale from 1 - 10 the pizza is a 2. But, I ordered a combo with hot wings. They were better than fair. We had a great meal for my wife's birthday. Her pasta (lasagna) was free on her birthday with the loyalty program. It came bubbling hot and was a big serving size (big enough for two to share). The side caesar salad was a full size salad and had great flavor (lots of caesar dressing). I had very good baja fish tacos. You get 3 small fish tacos filled full. I've been here twice and both experiences were very excellent. First time I went I had a sirloin medium rare and it was worth every dollar. Sides were great drinks were great. Second time I came back was take out on Pizza 15 minutes after taking orders they still took my order gave them a $15 tip on a $12 order. pizza was phenomenal

The drinks were the best part of the experience. The food was bland and not flavorful at all. The service was mediocre at best. Once our order was taken, the server never came back to check on us or to see if we want more drinks. She also didn’t check on us once we got our food. She forgot drinks and sides. I checked in to the attached Holiday Inn and saw an ad at the front desk about a prime rib deal at the restaurant. It said a 12oz prime rib was on special for $28. I thought that sounded good at a good price, so I went.

I ordered the prime rib and ate it. The flavor was mediocre at best, and it is not hard to satisfy me as far as prime rib, but I was not impressed. It wasn't horrible, but I've had better at $25.

Anyways, the reason for the 1 star is the bait and switch. When I got the bill, it was $31 before taxes and tip! When I brought it to the waitresses' attention, she just said they must've been using an old menu. I said "I specifically came for the price." Her response was, "The price is wrong." I then brought it up with the manager, and he told me I must've read it wrong.

I was upset but paid my bill and decided I'd just take a picture of the ad at the front desk and come back to show him. Well, when I got to the front desk, the ad was gone, and the customer rep there said the manager had come and removed it because the price was incorrect! So, he lied to my face when he said I must've read it wrong. The waitress must've told him I was upset, and he quickly went to remove the sign!

(from 2023, like feb or july) I had a gf pizza or so I thought. I a little bit think maybe there was a corn or potato product in it. They did offer me the nutrition to check but I waved it away. My grain sensitivities encompass corn and potatoes and wheat so while it probably had no wheat it had something of the others. Very tasty in the moment it just had me screwy later on. Not so delectable that I feel compelled to return but hit the spot.

We had made reservations a few weeks ago, but arrived on the day after Christmas with our party of 26 for a big family reunion dinner, only to find our reservation was misplaced! But kudos to our waitress (Aricella, I think), who helped our 16 adults and 10 children get quickly and efficiently served. The food was delicious-- fresh bread, yummy marinara/pasta/meatballs, large portions and all the favorites (including a big cookie!) on the kids menu! Came at 730 on a Saturday night, restaurant had a few patrons in it. Service was great, I had the 8 oz sirloin and mashed potatoes, steak was cooked perfectly and very flavorful, tender and melted in my mouth. My companion had the fettuccine Alfredo and that was very good as well. Salads and bread were good and the service was prompt. We were in and out in 45 minutes and stuffed full! Dinner was extremely disappointing. We should have known when we waited for quite a while to be seated that this would be a disappointment. The waiter was pleasant but not attentive. Our French onion soup was bland. We sent the Chicken Alfredo back as it had no flavor and the chicken was rubbery. The prime rib was ordered medium rare and it was served rare. The calzone was overcooked. Our previous meals at Benvenutos have been so wonderful. The atmosphere there was more traditional Italian. This location's atmosphere was cold and very "hotel" like.

The waiter was the best part. Friendly, understanding, and attentive. The rest... let me start at the beginning. We went in and were excited to see it was all you can eat shrimp night. Then we waited by an empty desk, within sight if two bartenders, for 20 minutes. We tried to wave them down and were ignored. We finally went to the bar and explained we had been waiting to be seated like the sign said but no one had come by. The lady then came over and got us menus and took us back to a table telling us her hostess must be on a delivery. OK fine. We sat down and the waiter told us that not only was it shrimp night, there was also a special on steak. The prices were pretty hefty but for a good sized steak I figured why not. Then it all started back down hill. The waiter told us they were out of the shrimp dishes. We tried to see if we could get some shrimp in a carbonara instead. No. Ok we got the chicken carbonara. The noodles were one step away from paste. The texture was gross. It was sent back and substituted for a soup and salad. The soup had boiled bacon in it. That is also not a texture I would like to repeat. The salad lettuce was great, fresh and crunchy. The dressing had little to no flavor at all. Next it was my turn. I had the steak. Do you know that flavor meat gets when it's just at the point of going bad? That. And I've had steaks about that good otherwise at a Denny's. Maybe a little less pepper but other wise soggy. The fries were a solid 6 out of ten. Next we come to the "pizza" it was a peice of bread with whole sliced tomatoes, and some mozzarella melted on top the dough was raw. We were looking for a Monday night substitute for Nono's and I had heard good things about the place. This was a learning experience that will only need to be taught once.

I have some complaints, but before I start, I must say this is one of the best cannelloni I have had. The flavor was there and it definitely tasted fresh. I am pretty depressed that I only had one cannelloni noodle though.I feel like you guys could have at least two noodles in there. Might I suggest, just a little less filling while adding an extra cannelloni noodle. That way it’s a little bit more filling and you don’t feel like you’re getting ripped off. Other than that, I was pretty impressed.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Madison West with several family members and this restaurant is attached to the hotel. Breakfast was included in the price of the rooms. There were about 13 family members and the restaurant staff put several tables together to accommodate us. The variety of the breakfast buffet was good and the food tasted pretty good. One evening, all the families wanted to eat dinner at the restaurant so they again put several tables together. There were about 13 people all together and our waitress who's name was Araceli, handled the taking of our orders like a Boss! We asked if we could have separate checks for the different families and she did that with ease. When the food came they had an extra three servers to get the plates to the table quickly. Also the pricing was reasonable. I would return to this hotel and restaurant again when in Madison.

The Food was ok, it wasn't the best the other location for this chain was top notch. I could tell my food was under a heating lamp for a while took waitress at least 15 mins or more just to get drink re-fills. Went on a Wednesday and my friend got the all you can eat shrimp. The waitress told him you can only get 1 reorder of shrimp at a time but it took over 20 mins for just 1 re-order of shrimp to come we called it quits after the 1 re-order, also did not get the reorder. I will not come to this location again.

In response if you look at the reviews for this place mine is not the first review that you have respond too, with the same lazy response. You need to send some people at to check on this location. I would start with replacing all your servers.

This place is terrible and just taking advantage of people who are coming to the hotel with their kids. We spent 1 night at the holiday inn this is attached to with our two kids and received 2 free kid meal coupons to dine here. The kids meals were around $7-8 each originally and my kids got literal kraft mac n cheese and microwave alfredo noodles. Fine, it was free, whatever. My husband's meal of chicken parm was hard microwaved chicken with plain spaghetti noodles and marinara with no seasoning or anything. He compared it to the lean cuisine spaghetti and parm. I ordered their 'new' tacos which were so incredibly tiny and also had absolutely no flavor and the steak was chewy and hard. Just really disgusting to be taking advantage of families just trying to have a nice staycation with their kids. I cannot even believe anyone would come here outside of being tricked into eating here because of their stay at holiday inn. If you are staying at the holiday inn, don't bother with this place and just go out to eat anywhere else. there are plenty of options in this area.

I am asymptomatic celiac. They have several different menus (older versions?), and by luck I received the only one at the table that had gluten free markings on it. There are a decent amount of choices, but none of the pastas are marked. Apparently, sometimes they do not have the GF penne, but tonight they did.

The waitress did not know a lot of answers, but she was happy to run back and ask. Several times. Heh.

The meatballs and Alfredo sauce are not GF, but the marinara is. All pizzas can be made GF, and all of the dishes with meat as the main dish can be made GF (beef, chicken, 2 fish options).

I got marinara with chicken, and GF penne pasta, the side salad (without croutons) with the Italian garlic vinaigrette. That vinaigrette is absolutely delicious! The marinara was decent, but I've had better. It's a meal that I can eat, and got that, I'm grateful!

The Benvenutos on 1109 Fourier Dr in Madison, WI is so TRASHY! Not a single table clean when we walked in, food on the floor everywhere, the table we sat at for 2 seconds wasn’t clean. We used to come to this restaurant after swim and it was surprisingly great until 2-3 years ago. But this time it was so disappointing. The waitress was very odd and she just disappeared after saying she was going to check if they have what I asked. And then most importantly, the food was pretty bad. Noodles were like soaked in water for days. And a waiter said nothing is wrong with it and they are good because it's soft 😂. The tomato sauce was blend and meatballs were just okay ( they used to be great). The cajun pasta was the worst part. Do not order it. I have ordered cajun pasta numerous times at restaurants and this was definitely worst. Also its portion was almost same as kids' meal. The best part was mash potatoes. The first time I went to this location, it took us an hour and a half to get our food and when we did get it, half of the order was wrong. We waited almost another hour for them to attempt to bring us the correct food but when that came, half of it was also wrong. They dropped the bill down to just under $10 from probably 60, which was great and all but we were there a total of almost 4 hours and I didn't get to eat because it was mostly my food they kept messing up. I had the coupons that were only good for the Middleton location so we went back today to use them. We had a really nice waitress but she was both waiting on us and bartending so the service was not much better. It took about 20 minutes to get our order in and an hour to get our food. It was correct this time and very good. However, we sat there a long time waiting for drink refills and they forgot to bring us the bread and oil thing that they usually give customers so we sat there a good long while without anything to nibble on or drink. I had to get up at one point and go to the kitchen and wave through the glass to get our waitress's attention. In the end we were there approximately two and a half hours. Our waitress was new, or so she said and I believe her but someone should have made sure we were checked on regularly. I will never go there again and neither will anyone I have taken with me to that location.

Wow! Visiting the area for a work trip and decided to stop here for dinner. The wait staff were busy, but very attentive and extremely kind. I had a newer server named Sam and she was SO sweet and did a great job! I have gestational diabetes so I ordered a burger without the bun and treated myself to cheesecake for dessert. Guys! My burger was perfect and tasted incredible! Then I tried the cheesecake - HEAVEN! Granted I’m pregnant and emotional, but I was definitely fighting back tears because it was SO GOOD! I cherished every bite (literally). Sam was so kind and made sure to check in often enough without being pesky and let me know when one of their registers broke down because it was taking a while to get the bill. I would absolutely come back and look forward to trying another location! Anything to have that cheesecake again!

Ordered food while at the pool at the Hotel Benenutos is attatched to. They allowed us to order food and charged a delivery fee, but then never brought over the food. When my wife went to get it they said they were too short staffed to bring the order. Large portions of our order were missing, cheeseburger was a hockey puck, salmon blt was almost a cracker the salmon was so over cooked, my wife's pasta had zero salt, the calamari was rock hard, and by the time we got the food the kids fries were soggy. I have dined many times at the Middleton location and the food is out of this world! Every time you eat there you want to go back again. The staff is always polite and checks back several times every time I've been there to make sure everything is all is all right.
The baked Cod was one of the best I ever ate.
The Caesar salad was crisp and the dressing was delicious.
The crispy brussel sprouts you just can't stop eating them. They are awesome.
Their loyalty Club is full of great deals for all their customers to enjoy.

Where do I start? After being seated no one came to greet us or take our drink order. After 20 minutes my husband got up and asked if someone was coming to wait on us. Another 10 minutes later a waitress came and took our order and dropped off bread. Note: there was only one other table of people and not one person in the whole section we were sitting in. Ordered the lasagna family of 4 meal for takeout and was pleasantly surprised. It easily would feed 6 adults with large portions (and I’m a guy who loves his lasagna!). The Caesar salad dressing has to be homemade and was delicious. For a person who likes to drown his Caesar salad in dressing, they definitely gave enough to do so and then some. I’ll have enough for at least 2-3 more salads on top of what we ate today. The meal also comes with bread and cookies. For $32, this is a steal!
What really stuck out though was that the hostess offered a 20% discount without me asking just because I did pick up. That gesture alone will have me back, especially because I work just a block away. Nice job overall Benvenutos!

Have ordered takeout twice and the pasta and service have been great both times! The chicken carbonara is fantastic- very flavorful and a huge portion- enough for 2 meals. They even gave us a significant discount without asking.

Large portions for the price. Good food. Was disappointed with the response to the wait. Sat about 15 minutes before a young lady brought bread out and said our waitress would be with us soon. See seems annoyedand let us know they were overwhelmed with two big parties and there were only two of them working. Our waitress was apologetic.

Ordered a pizza. They delivered the wrong pizza. We called back asking for the correct pizza they double charged my card. Getting that corrected was a HUGE HASSLE. Been waiting over 30 minutes and still haven't gotten the right pizza.
Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

We decided to try this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend, and it did not disappoint! While it did seem kind of chaotic with so many people, the waitstaff was wonderful, and the food some of the best garlic shrimp alfredo we had ever had. All the proportions were sizeable and just yummy!
Will return for sure!

I took my wife for her birthday to the Middleton location, we went on a Saturday at 7:00pm (01/22/2022), the place was almost empty. My chili soup was so bad and dry that was a lower level than any gas station soup, my wife cesar salad was drowning in salsa, we thought the entrees were going to be better but we were wrong, the tomato sauce was coming from a can, sure had all day and didn't have any flavor, the meatballs were disgusting, didn't have meat at all, pasta looked like was all day floating on water.
This was the worse experience in a long time, don't make this mistake and just go to another restaurant!

Mismanaged restaurant of alot of items on the menu not available I understand supply chains issues but come on pepperoni and noodles you can't source these items locally temporarily? Service was slow but customer service was good, the menu is priced at a 5 star restaurant price but I did not get anywhere near a 5 star value.

Had such a bad experience. Took my parents to the restaurant on a Tuesday night. Called before for reservations, waited an hour for our food. My server messed up the order. So many mistakes we ordered 3 stakes all medium well. One was well done super dry and unseasoned, the other one was rare and the third was medium. We ordered salads with no dressing all had a lot of dressing and mashed potatoes with no butter, all had butter. I don't think I am been to picky, I like to have what I ordered that is it. Unfortunately, not going back.

The service here was absolutely amazing. Staff was courteous and professional. Very clean, although it was obvious the hotel served the free breakfast in the same area. I would normally give a place like this 4-5 stars but the food was just horrible. The onion sticks were soggy and tasted like someone spilled a whole cup of salt in it. The special hand crafted chipotle ranch dipping sauce was easily recognized as regular ranch that was probably poured out of a jug. The “hand tossed” crust pizza was obviously pulled out of a box. The cheese pizza was comparable to Chuck E Cheese. The Benvenuto pizza was raw in the middle. I thought the cheese was really thick in the middle until I realized it was in fact just the soggy dough stretching off of the parchment paper. Pizzas that are almost $30 each should not be coming pre packaged and slapped together. 5 star waiting staff serving school lunches at a hotel.

Service was horrible and there were only 3 tables in the whole place. Server didn't check back n food was not that great. Spinach dip was undercooked and tasted bad.
