The last time I ate from Apple bagels was 25 years ago in Chicago, the Cicero and Cermack location to be exact and they left a very good impression on me and to find out they had one here where I live I was excited.
So my wife and I decided to give them a try. The bagels I tried back in the day were cinnamon raisin, tomato basil, rye, and garlic herb they were very good then. Especially the cinnamon raisin bagel and making it into a BLT; oh what a memory! This is what I got very little beacon, two pieces of lettuce, and a little piece of tomato, and no mayonnaise, which I asked for mayonnaise. Not at all what I remember, which if I had received this sandwich, then I would not have gone back. I really do hope they improve on an Amazing Bagel shop! Sorry, I'm very disappointed 😞....... And that is all I have to say about that...

First, the people there are very very friendly, warm, and inviting. But the bagels are not good. They're all too soft for it to really be a bagel. There's no chew or knock like you'd find in a regular bagel. One bite and the whole thing flattens. Giving this place 3/5 because the people seem genuinely friendly.

We really enjoyed the big apple bagels in Grafton, Wisconsin! The bagels are really really good. We would not recommend mocha, it tasted a little gas station like. However, we will definitely come back for a $3.39 bagel. The danish cinnamon bagel was so sweet and delicious, and the raisin walnut cream cheese really made it delicious. The Swiss melt bagel was to die for, cheesy and crunchy and crispy, with the scallion cream cheese.They are really a big bagels, which is a huge plus. We will definitely be back here!

All I have to say is I can't believe I waited so long to go here. Ive lived in ozaukee for many years and only came here for the first time the other day and it was amazing. Ordered 3 dozen bagels to go for the next day. Drove the 20 miles to get there at 10am. Wait 20 minutes in line to be told they were running out of bagels and sold them. Was told they would make them if I came back later.
You have lost a customer will never go to any Big Apple Bagels again.

I was driving North on the highway. And I thought I'd pick up 2 dozen sliced toasted bagels, so I call ahead and was very polite. And I was told that - because there were a lot of people in line - that I couldn't come in right away. Maybe it was a language barrier, but they seemed to imply they weren't able to take my order. Every time i go there, the owner is there. I am not sure how many businesses you can say that about, but that alone is impressive. He is such a hard worker, with a smile always on his face. Be ready to wait over a half hour for a bagel. Always slow no matter how many customers there are in there. Twice now, I've called in ahead of time and I've shown up for them to say that they don't have the bagel I ordered. Then I had to wait an additional 15 minutes. Bagels are usually pretty good, but not worth the wait. Very inefficient

This place is one of if not my favorite place to eat. Joe, the service man behind the counter is a very respectful and cheerful guy! He always greets us when we come in and even remembers our order when we come in.

The food is phenomenal and the prices are even better! I ordered a Southern Tradition bagel on a poppy seed bagel with six mini muffins and all together it was a flat $8! Joe made sure to also specify what’s on the bagel before I ordered. The muffins were very good and fresh, and the bagel came out hot and fresh before I could even finish my three muffins

I don’t live near Grafton, but I still make the drive just to come here for breakfast. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys fresh, great quality bagels!

Breakfast sandwiches were delicious! One guy was working by himself so there was a short wait to receive our food but he was still getting things done quickly despite it just being him. Was extremely friendly as well.
Slight downfall is that I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and received a sausage egg and cheese instead. Not worth making a fuss though, it was still really good. We’ll be back

I like the food but it should not take 20 minutes to make a single bagel and a coffee. This is the second time I have given this location a try and again service disappoints. The person who rung us up who I imagine is the owner was rude and rushed us as we ordered while having a conversation with the regular behind us. We will not be returning or recommending this location based on service. Food is so/so typical bagel sandwich nothing special. I will say this is not a quick in and out location. We waited almost 30 min for 2 sandwiches and 2 bagels with cream cheese. Panera or Einstein will be getting our business next time.

The guy who owns this place makes it what is! He's happy, jolly and remembers everyone. Great personality and the breakfast sandwiches are really bomb. I’ve eaten at 4 different big apple bagels and this one makes the most delicious bagel sandwiches I have no clue why they taste soo much better than the other locations. Joe the owner remembers me, my order, where I work and what shift I work still after not being there for over a year. I can only imagine how many customers he served since then and still remembered all of that. 5 stars just for that. 5 stars for the big apple club every time.

There was only two men on duty. I learned later that one man was the owner. Both were preparing food, nobody to wait on customers and of course nobody to clean tables for dine in customers. There was one person ahead of me in line and a mother and daughter came in after me. There were several tables already occupied by people eating or awaiting their orders. I waited about 5-7 minutes and was never greeted by the staff to tell me they would be with me shortly. That was all I expected as I could see they were busy. It didn't happen so I left. I drove to Einstein Bagels in Mequon and had my coffee and bagel sandwich in 5 minutes. It was delicious I will never go back to Big Apple as apparently I am not worthy to be greeted by the owner on entering his business. It also made me wonder, why does Einsteins Bagels have adequate staffing and this guy doesn't?

Highly do not recommend. It’s cheap and you definitely get what you pay for. We ordered 5 bagels and it took over an hour to get them with only 3 orders ahead of us. The owner started and finished multiple orders that came in after us instead of chronological order. On top of that, he sold the bagels we had ordered before they started making our order to people who came in after and we had to switch what kind twice. The most inefficient way to run a restaurant. Absolutely pathetic.

I've been to other Big Apple Bagels, but this is the best one so far. You can tell the owner truly cares. He is friendly with his regulars, and I daresay he remembers all their names. Once you sit down with your food, if the owner is on duty, he will make sure everything is to your liking and make sure you havr everything you need.
