Another amazing spot I keep coming back to — and I can’t stop telling my friends about it! If you’re craving BBQ, this is the place. The half platter (pictured) has it all, and I’m drooling just writing this review. The cornbread with honey butter sauce is unbelievably good, the brisket is juicy with that perfect smoky flavor, and the Asian green beans are my absolute favorite. The candied bacon is sweet, smoky, and thick — just the way I like it. And the beans… well, I’ll just stop there. I happily drive 1.5 hours to eat here. Highly recommend 100%!

The food and drinks are delicious 😋 I had my spotted cow I had chicken last night,there macaroni and cheese is so good 👍 creamy macaroni and cheese with amazing flavor. Our friends had ribs,I had chicken and my husband had a quarter chicken, mine was shredded, there bbq sauces are delicious as well. They just have lots of good flavor, hard to describe. It was loud inside with the meat raffle going on,was hard to hear our friends talking. We have eaten here for the 3rd time, we getting something new each time. Bands were playing here as well. We were there for a few hours.

Wow, just wow! Jethro and Amy absolutely exceeded our expectations for our wedding! They catered our rehearsal dinner and then wedding reception for over 200 guests at our ranch, and everything was incredible from start to finish. From our very first meeting, they were professional, attentive to every detail, and so accommodating with all of our requests. The food was absolutely delicious, and despite our menu being unique (and not something they prepare every day), they executed it flawlessly. Their team hustled nonstop to make sure everything went smoothly, and it truly showed. We will 100% be turning to them for all of our future catering needs. Highly recommend!

On our way back from vacation, we were really in the mood for some classic BBQ, so we did a little research and found a spot with pretty good reviews. The vibes seemed promising when we walked in, but that’s where the positives die. We were seated at a dirty booth that we had to clean ourselves, and there were flies landing on us. We ordered a pound of brisket along with mac and coleslaw, and while the food arrived quickly, it looked pretty unappetizing. The brisket was DRY/TOUGH and chewy, with thick hard chunks of fat, while the mac was served cold. Both slaws were sad, especially the classic one, which had an odd fishy taste. It’s a shame because we really wanted to enjoy some good BBQ, but this place just didn’t deliver. Our service was okay but nothing that could have saved the experience.

We had BBQ catered to our wedding. Candied bacon and veggie trays for social hour. The food was Amazing! I’m still getting compliments on how good the food was. Very cute and fun place to go. Menu has a wide variety of food. We shared an appetizer order of their candied bacon which was amazing. Part of our group got the wings, which they loved and highly recommended! My granddaughter and I got the pulled pork sandwich with a side of macaroni and cheese. We both thought it was excellent. I was in Minneapolis for the day and had never been to the state of Wisconsin. Wisconsin would be my 48th state to visit so I had to go. My rules are you have to eat at a local place for it to count as a visit. Obviously, airport layovers don’t count.
I found Big Guys BBQ and it looked like just the place. I crossed the bridge and easily found it. Walking in I knew it was my kind of place. Clean with the log cabin feel. The bartender Jennifer was super nice and I told her my story. Next thing I know I’m chatting with locals at the bar who were all super nice too. One lady had me try the candy bacon she had bought a pack of. Best bacon ever.
Oh and the BBQ food and sauce was tasty. I live in Texas so I know BBQ. This was excellent. Thanks everyone for making my quick trip to your lovely state enjoyable. Cheers.

We visited for the first time a couple of weeks ago because I had been craving some good BBQ like I've had in Texas. I found Big Guy's BBQ online and decided it was where I wanted to go for my birthday. This place was just as good as I was hoping it would be!! We had the burnt ends appetizer which was so tender and the sauce complimented it very well. I ordered the brisket (I can't resist anything that is cherrywood smoked) and it was so tender and flavorful, it didn't even need sauce. I cannot wait to go back!!

Food ranks up there with the worst we have ever had at restaurant. We emailed Big Guys and they never responded. The bacon wrapped around my chicken was barely cooked. We came in and got seated right away. We sat down and the waiter was very respectful. I personally got the big guy western burger and it was delicious. We had a reservations for father's day, and arrived early only to find out the restaurant had cancelled our reservation 20 minutes before it was to begin, as we were driving 40 minutes to get there. They did nothing about the situation. Haven't tried the food yet, because we have been waiting for a table for 40 minutes now. I'm sure the food will be good, but the service so far has been awful. The BEST barbecue on this side of the st. Croix. It was just a quick hop and a skip over the st. Croix river from the cities. I ordered the excellent 1/2 rack of ribs and Mac and cheese. I can’t say enough good things about my visit to Big Guys. Everything was phenomenal! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and full of energy. The food? Out of this world. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and it’s clear they put serious heart into their menu. I’ll be dreaming about that meal for weeks!

But what truly made the experience unforgettable was my server Korinne, they were absolutely awesome! Friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, they made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they had just the right mix of professionalism and personality that made me feel like a VIP.

We came for a late lunch and it was worth the mini-trek. Plenty of parking on-site and both and bar and dining areas are spacious and welcoming.

We ordered the candied bacon and burnt ends to start; the bacon was phenomenal. The burnt ends weren’t AS burnt as I usually like :) but they were still very delicious.

We also ordered jalapeño poppers, Cajun sirloin (sides Mac and cheese and dirty rice), and the smoked meatloaf (sides beans and mashed potatoes and gravy). The sirloin was so tender. You wouldn’t have guessed it was a sirloin. The meatloaf was incredible; and the poppers were that good homemade type of popper with an actual jalapeño half wrapped in bacon.

We were visiting from Texas. We were told to try this restaurant. We checked the hours and it showed they closed at midnight. We drove 25 minutes.Stacy greeted us and told us the kitchen closed at 10 and we had 15 minutes to order. She was visibly angry. She slammed our glasses on the table and made everyone very uncomfortable. The brisket was fatty and one sandwich the brisket was dry. There was a fruit fly in one of our drinks The entire experience was uncomfortable.i understand that we came late but it was an honest misunderstanding. This was our only negative dining experience in Wisconsin.

I tried to call to talk to them about how they could accommodate an 80% disabled veteran for a concert they're having Saturday June 21st Rubber Soul Beatles cover band some the nicest guys in the business... When they answer the phone and I said hello how are you doing They hung up on me this is the second time this has happened.... Sorrow guys, my wife saw a review for you guys on TV and said we should try it. Service was slow, we had to get our own water and one of use in the group had too ask the manager to send a waiter over. Brisket was fair, sides of beans and Mac and cheese was good. Bacon was good My order for the ribeye was ordered medium rare and came out well done ( would have sent it back but the service was so slow I didn’t want to wait ) kids meals were good. Had a group of nine and got charged for a gratuity plus tip plus up charge for using a credit card. $ 74.40 for two waters, over done steak and side order basket of bacon.
