Wow! What a hidden gem! Ordered for a party of 30. Big O's provided a great BBQ spread! The flavor was definitely spot on. I'm kicking myself for not ordering more brisket. The pulled pork, while delicious had way too much sauce mixed with it. I could tell it was quality product and wish it wasn't so sauce-covered. Extra buns were appreciated. Thanks, Otis!

I ordered from here a couple days ago. I have only eaten here a few times, and the food is mostly good. This last time however, I was really disappointed. The brisket seemed like the leftover scraps. I didn't even get one full slice. And the chicken was very over done and dry. The outer parts of it was like rubber. Both had kind of a burnt taste to them which is the reason i think they were the leftovers.
Not to mention, I don't even know if I was charged for the cornbread because I didn't get a receipt. But that was missing from my order. Speaking of being charged, I placed the order over the phone and was told a different price for the 3 meat plate, compared to their own website. If I wasn't paying attention, I would've gotten charged more for that as well.
This is the first time I was really disappointed. The pulled pork and beans were really good however. But I just feel like for the price, the food should've been better.

We drove from Racine in search of good BBQ and we found it here at Big O's Texas BBQ. Otis is an amazing owner and very welcoming. His staff was friendly and very informative of the menu. We decided to get the sampler platter with brisket, pork, and ribs. The sides were mac and cheese, coleslaw, peach cobbler, and corn bread. No BBQ sauce needed with this meat! The rub on the brisket had a kick and was full of great smoke flavor. The ribs had another great rub, not as spicy. The pork was marinated with citrus juices, it was amazing. My favorite side (until I try the tornado baked beans, they were on the smoke when came) was the peach cobbler! I am not usually a big peach cobbler fan, but it was absolutely melt in your mouth goodness. I would highly recommend this place for great BBQ 👍.

The meat was so charred it was not edible. The mac and cheese was too greasy for my kids. We ended up throwing all of our food away. A sad waste of money. The owner was very friendly but the restaurant decor is confusing and the signs are misleading on where to enter.

Owner was nice.. But the food was really awful. Brisket was way overcooked and charred, the cornbread was also burnt and the mac and cheese was mush with a puddle of grease. The ribs were undercooked. It's too bad because the owner was a nice guy but I'm so disappointed I spent this much money on food we couldn't enjoy and ended up throwing out.

We took my son here for his birthday and we loved it! Great food and super friendly staff. We got the sampler platter so we tried a little bit of everything. All the meats and sides were amazing. Just moved back to WI from TN and I've been desperately searching for good smoky bbq...and now I found my spot!!!! Had the ribs, pulled pork, sausage, Mac and cheese, coleslaw, Texas beans, peach cobbler, and finally....the loaded potato with pulled pork. Lordddddddd not one of them disappointed. Not one!! The smoke on the meats and the sides is amazing! I love my bbq with smoke and it did not disappoint and the just the overall taste of the food was sooo good! It definitely hit my bbq craving. Finished with the peach cobbler...I could in fact eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so make sure to order a lot 😋. I'm incredibly happy I came across big o's....I'm officially addicted. Oh and the staff...some of the kindest people I've ever come across. Friendly and definitely want to make sure you are taken care of!

Weird experience. Door was still locked 30 minutes after they opened. They were out of almost everything minus like 2 meats. No highchairs or booster seats. Had a very vulgar movie playing on the TV. Food was fine. Sausage was glorified breakfast sausage. Mac n cheese was dry. Insanely slow. We were literally the only people there. Very friendly at the start then just kind of disappeared. Take the time and go to Big Ed's down in IL.

Stopped by and had their chicken, smoked beans, mac and cheese, corn bread, and peach cobbler. I would say that this is one of the best bbq places that I have been to and I have traveled the country. The chicken and smoked beans have the right amount of smoke. The rest of the food was top-notch, and you can tell it was homemade. For those who like real good bbq and excellent food, this is the real deal.

They catered our lunch today for Zeigler Honda Racine. I have to say it was absolutely fantastic. Everybody here was happy - And a lot of people were saying it’s the best lunch we’ve had in a long time. We will definitely be adding them into our regular rotations.

I had the brisket and the Mac and cheese. I wouldn't say it was bad, but it was definitely refrigerated and reheated which caused it to be dry. There were no BBQ sauces other than Sweet Baby Ray's. Both the brisket and Mac and cheese were spicy, so there was nothing to contrast it. I was hoping to get a creamy Mac and cheese.
I would recommend a meat that does better being reheated if you go here.
Side note: The TV was super loud.
With some changes this place could be very good.

I stopped in today while passing through. The entrance is a little bit confusing, but the entrance is on the street side by the gazebo.
I had a nice talk with the owner and some of his staff.
While waiting for my order, I was asked if I'd be interested in trying a new dessert that they want to add to the menu board. This was some of the best banana pudding that I've ever tried.
I ordered a 1/2 pound of Brisket and a half pound of sausage to try, this is how I determine if they know how to smoke meats. In my opinion, they nailed both items perfectly. The sausage had a great snap to the casing and good flavor. The Brisket was over the top good. The seasoning is spot on with the perfect amount of smoke, and it was nice and moist. I didn't use any BBQ sauce. It was not needed.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Big O's Texas Bbq. No need for sauce, let the meat and the smoke be the stars of the show. Everything I had was delicious. Cole slaw was different but in a good way. Spicy and creamy, not vinegar based. The meats were seasoned and smoked to perfection. Finally another BBQ joint up here, that's worth the time and money. Not to mention the staff was extremely friendly and eager to please! Highly recommend!

Stopped in for lunch at work. They have a deal for $2 off any plate. Ended up with the brisket and it was some of the most tender brisket I've ever had. Beans and peach cobbler were great too. Only complaint would be that i would love to see some homemade bbq sauce.

Went into Big O’s today and just by the smell of pulling up to the door you can tell it was going to be some great food. I ordered the brisket plate & omg it is amazing the brisket is perfectly cooked to my liking. I also got smoked baked beans and coleslaw for the sides. Baked beans are so delicious they are also smoked so even more flavor coleslaw could have used a bit more but I enjoyed them also. The people were very attentive and made sure that you had everything you needed . Overall 9/10 very much recommend.

Where to begin... i will start by saying Otis, the owner definitely has Texas hospitality and an ease about him let's you know he would be a good friend. The staff was also on point, showing ambition and was very knowledgeable about the menu.
I've traveled all over the US for work,and alot of time in Texas, usually in small towns close to big city's, I've had my share of bad BBQ and good, the good never comes from a fancy place that millions was spent to put you in a rustic setting. The good always comes from a place that has a pit outback that has more build of of smoke than the inside of a chimney during January. The money isn't spent on fancy tables or decor, it's spent on quality products, and in bbq, meat isn't cheap. Otis has done this, bringing his roots and traditional Texas Q with him to Wisconsin. The meat is well seasoned with a good amount of smoke flavor.
First time here, will not be the last!

Less than a year ago, we had Big O’s for the first time and loved the BBQ. Whether it was the pulled pork, brisket, or amazing smoked sausage, everything was well made and reasonably priced. Seeing as we loved Big O’s food, we thought it may be a good choice for our wedding catering and personally talked with the owner to make this happen. Otis sat down with us and gave us his full attention in making the catering plan. We scheduled the date of the catering, and when the day finally came, Big O’s provided everything we could have asked for. From great service, promptness, large portions, cutlery, and obviously the great BBQ, we were so pleased with how everything turned out. Our guests loved the food and were talking about it for weeks to come.

Honestly unsure how others gave it 5 stars at all. Did something change that it was previously good? Meat was very dry (brisket), corn bread was very dry too. The pulled pork was very dry and had some strange seasoning on it. The only BBQ sauce was Sweet Baby Ray's. No butter available.
Mac and cheese tasted like something generic from a package. Besides the meats, I don't know that anything is made in-house here.
The place needs an overall. Strange layout, hard to read menu, lack of sauce/ condiments, strange vibe all around.
There was a broken down truck out back with missing windows, hood open, and an apparent "manager" sleeping/resting in it? Not sure what was happening there. I question the sanitation of the establishment.

I stopped in here yesterday to get a barbecued chicken sandwich. Before I did, I called about my order. I asked if their chicken sandwich was spicy, since I have a sensitive digestive system. I was told (by the owner, I think) that it was not. Unfortunately, when I got home I discovered this was not the case. After only a few bites, I discovered the chicken was, in fact, very spicy, and the smoke flavor was so overwhelming that I could not taste the chicken at all. Worst of all, I had stomach issues for many hours after eating only a small part of the sandwich.
Needless to say, the owner was not correct in describing the food and I paid a price for it. I think a refund is in order.

This is like down south BBQ. The brisket was delicious. Seasoned perfect, and juicy. Most places sliced brisket is so dry, Big O's doesn't even need sauce. The Cole slaw had an interesting southwestern seasoning style and was fantastic. Sausages were cooked perfectly and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Ribs fell off the bone tasty. Pleasantly surprised after getting the food home after a bit of a wait (even though the dining area wasnt busy). Tried the 3 meat sampler -- ribs, pork, brisket, with mac n cheese, beans, and peach cobbler. All the meat was solid and well seasoned, and beans were flavorful. Cobbler was fantastic.
Atmosphere got dinged as I would of liked to see basketball (its March Madness) on in the dining room, instead casting some music. But that's me so it's still at least 4*.
Price is reasonable. Overall, we'll be back and/or order again.

This place is amazing and I'm so glad this is in our new neighborhood! I normally don't like barbecue, but came here for my other half. I loved everything we had! We got to taste some peach cobbler, smoked chicken mac, brisket, sausage, and baked beans. The sausage was definitely something I'd love for breakfast and the brisket was just amazing and tender! First time At Big O's. We were visiting from Tennessee and found them completely by accident. Pork plates with slaw and beans. Meat was great and there was a lot of it. This was our first time here. We met the owner Otis, what a down to earth guy. We all tried something different so we could sample each other's. The brisket and pulled pork were both excellent, and the chicken fell right off the bone. The Texas loaded potato with brisket was the bomb. I didn't think I would be full, but I was. The men were in a heavenly meat coma, lol.
Everything was excellent but the winners were the smoked bacon wrapped sausage and the bean medley w/ bacon, ground beef, and the buffalo chicken dip.
We dove in so fast to eat the goodness that I didn't have time to take photos. Next time as there will be one.

Ribs were dry, brisket tasted like jerky, didnt taste fresh. The amount/quality you get vs what you pay is not worth it. Kwik trip pork sandwiches have more flavor. My friend saw a tent setup behind the building which grosses me out. Seen an RV back there too at one point. Tacky, gross and creepy. Brisket was very greasy. Ribs were so burnt and dry that they didnt even taste like pork. For $18 you got 3 thin slices of brisket. Ribs were $18 also and you only got 3 ribs. The mac & cheese and the beans were tasteless. Peach cobbler was good but very sweet. We were spending winters in Texas before covid and every bbq place in Texas far surpassed this. We will not return.

Otis is from Dallas and you can taste it in the food. Genuine Texas dry rubbed smoked barbecue. Amazingly tender and tasty. Highly recommend.

Big O’s makes the best food the Waterford/Burlington area has to offer. It’s the best Texas BBQ I’ve ever had, especially from Wisconsin. You need to try the pulled pork and mac n cheese!!!

Thank you for a great meal! The ribs fell right off the bone and the meal took me back to the South. My favorite part of traveling South is the BBQ. Otis and Leon were friendly and chatty while waiting for the take out to be bagged up. We will be back!

I can’t think of a place in the state that us back to what real Texas BBQ tastes like but we finally found one here. Otis (the owner) was extremely friendly and we enjoyed hearing his story. Amazing pulled pork, brisket and ribs. The ribs could have had a little more meat but the flavor was there. For sides the beans, Mac and coleslaw were awesome. Waterford is lucky to have this place and an owner who really has a passion for what he does. Can’t wait for our next visit. Boomer Sooner!!

Awesome! They smoked the beans?! My family makes a version of the beans they offer-but theirs blew ours out of the water. My husband thought something was wrong because I made a face when I took the first bite-it was a face of amazement. I can never enjoy my amazing "secret family recipe" ever again without being reminded that mine are now mediocre at best.
Meat was moist and exactly how I think BBQ should be. Definitely will be back. Right behind The Bunker too.

Went here for lunch today.... First time. I didn't know it was here. Had ribs. They were very good! Big O gave us a tour of the place and shared his plans for an outdoor dining area with entertainment. I suspect that the excellent food, service, and vision will pay dividends as time goes by. If you like barbecue... You can't go wrong giving Big O a try!

Went there for the first time I had the Brisket and it was fantastic nice tender and juicy I also had the coleslaw and it was different than what I am use to but it was also a great surprise. The pulled Pork was good but just a tad dry, I put on some BBQ sauce and it was great .... the owner is a really nice guy and he comes from Texas and they know BBQ

Met the crew from Big O’s at a popup on 1st and Becher. Couldn’t pass up the smell of Texas BBQ. If you’ve had it, you know it. The meat is seasoned perfectly. Ribs, brisket and sausage on point! I had my ribs with no sauce. They’re that well marinated! A must try and a definite regular. Hands down the best BBQ I’ve had since I hit Milwaukee!!

Texas by way of waterford??? Blown away I can get legit Texas style bbq in waterford give me a min to collect my composure 🤣 the brisket had a smoke flavor that was super juicy and savory. The mac and cheese was a sleeper because the look of it seemed like a standard Mac but don’t judge that book because it was a great Mac. Now on to what I personally thought was one of the most unique and best tasting item …. Them beans 🤯 love some beans but these bad boys had a one of one flavor on them. Prices are beyond legit and Otis the owner is about the nicest guy you can find!
