This is a hidden gem. The ribs are so tender and juicy. They taste great without any sauce. The bologna is delicious and so are the hot links. The workers are super nice and checked the label of their potato salad to double check for allergens for me. Clean restaurant and comfy booths to sit in. Definitely coming here again!

Placed an online order for Ribs, Brisket, Sides & Dessert for a lunch with my Dad in Hospice, Mom & Uncle. Since the facility I was going to was a bit of a drive, I wanted to make certain I got it there hot (and cold) so it was enjoyed. I called the store after ordering and explained my situation and they assured me they'd take care of it. When I arrived they put everything together as I asked and then the server asked if I lived in town, which I did. So he let me use one of their warmer bags for deliveries and said to drop it back off when done. This was truly above & beyond!!

I haven't been here often, but have enjoyed a few meals in the past and have always enjoyed it. Everyone loved the ribs, me & Dad really enjoyed the Brisket and everything was hot/cold and delicious. I have ordered a lot of food for you guys and I really loved your food. Last week I came in and spent way over 100 and some dollars on food and the baked potatoes. I had two of them. They were not done all the way my brisket was dry I’ve always had my food moist and good. I think the only thing that I liked is, I had ordered a sandwich when I came in to pick up my order and that was really good with the bar with the mayonnaise barbecue and the macaroni and cheese that was the only thing out of all the food that ordered plus the banana dessert was the worst meal I’ve ever gotten from you guys like I said potatoes were not done the way. The brisket itself was very dry and stuff. If I would’ve live closer, I could’ve brought it. I would’ve done that.

We ordered catering from here for our daughter’s 1st birthday party.

Communication and customer service were both amazing.

Everyone couldn’t stop raving about how great the chicken and brisket were. There was a perfect smoke flavor. Everyone also loved the Mac n cheese and potato salad, which usually aren’t huge hits.

On top of that, they let us use their insulated cooler to keep the food warm until the time of the party. Everything from them was phenomenal. I’d recommend them for any event you might need catered, lunch or dinner.

My Partner and I Came here yesterday and ordered Our food for dine In,as We have 3 times before. When behind us Came 2 Older maybe Mid 60's Woman of African American decent. I’m going purely off of observation and years of BBQ eating experience from the south which arguably has the best BBQ, so my standards are HIGH, It’s pretty alright the staff are super friendly and the restaurant is clean, and as far as I can tell they keep it to billy sims standards but I could be wrong I’m assuming how the food is prepared based on observation and knowledge of BBQ overall and also my personal food work experience, the atmosphere is pretty cool I reckon not really a country BBQ vibe but it’s still nice and clean none the less but I believe the way the company has it set up for the BBQ to be prepared just results in dry bland BBQ that’s tasteful enough to get by and at least not leave you thinking “this is bad” but more so “I expected more”

So I gave 3 out of 5 stars because the staff is awesome and cleanliness of the restaurant, and didn’t give the final 2 because it’s a BBQ place with adequate BBQ at best so it would just be a lie to give 5 stars for great staff.. and I don’t believe it’s the staffs fault the food is decent at best, I believe it’s the methods used by the company to prepare it and serve it leaves it dryer than it should be.

But all and all to sum it up if you’re craving BBQ for Decent price with friendly staff and a clean atmosphere this is the place to get it to at least get that BBQ craving satisfied, but if you’re looking for the best bbq of your life imo so far, out of the places I’ve tried, that would be slick pig in Murfreesboro TN that’s the place to go but that’s a bit of a drive so this’ll do I reckon

Sorry, but the ribs were wayyy overcooked, soft/fall off the bone, and a bit too much fat still on them for my liking. I like some bite & chew to my ribs, it's not supposed to melt in your mouth like a filet mignon. I only ate 3 ribs of a full rack and threw the rest away, sadly. The thought of reheating them as leftovers wasn't a pleasant thought, so that's why they had to go in the trash. Too mushy already, as I said, and reheating would've made them even worse texture.
The pulled pork sammie was really fantastic! It comes plain though, so you can add your own flavor and amount of sauce on it. Husband said he'd gladly eat that sammie again.
The sides were pretty great though! Mac & cheese..yum. Coleslaw was creamy & delicious. Baked beans a bit spicy, but very tasty. Regular potato salad..yum. Green beans.. awful mush, a bit spicy, with a few long pieces of stalk that were very sharp & hard like bones in em.. threw em out cuz I wasn't trying to call 911 for choking.
Sauces: Sweet flavor was delicious. Hot & spicy was really delicious. Hickory smoked was way too smoky flavored for my taste, but maybe others would love it. To each his own on sauce preferences.
Their dry rub.. just awful. No smell to it at all, no taste to it at all, and I don't know even how that's possible when you look at the blend of what's supposed to be multiple seasonings in it. Glad I didn't buy a bottle of seasoning for home use, but very thankful the staff let me try it first by providing a very small sample of it to me, so thank you for saving me a few bucks by not purchasing something I would've been disappointed with once home. That was awesome and I appreciate it.

Really enjoyed our first stop in today! The service and friendliness of the staff was top notch. The staff were Taking care of us and our kiddo, so kindly and making sure more than once we had everything needed. I had their brisket mac and the brisket was delicious! Their style of mac wasn’t my fav to be honest but it was still enjoyable. Super clean in the restaurant and the bathrooms were equally so. Go in and stop for lunch one day! :) ps. We came a bit late (7pm) on a Sunday, they were out of ribs and potatoes, totally ok as it was a holiday weekend. The staff were super friendly and made recommendations for what to get. We went with nachos with brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausage Mac, and a fried bologna sandwich with a side of beans. The nachos were HUGE. Next time we would order with less shredded cheese; they were delectable, but we decided that we didn’t really *need* that much cheese. Their cheese sauce is legit though. Beans are basically Busch’s baked beans- not a complaint as that’s what we like, but they aren’t as “elevated” as many other bbq spots make them. The dining room and visible areas of the service counter were immaculately clean. For a franchise bbq place, they do it right. We will definitely eat here again, just earlier before ribs and potatoes are sold out!

The ribs aren't spectacular, didn't fall off the bone, 3 of 4 had minimal meat and were only warm at best. The loaded potato was fair, but difficult to eat with plastic utensils. The cherry stacker dessert was very good. Was a bit pricey for the quantity of food. Will probably give it a second chance, but won't be having the ribs, and probably carry out next time.

We cannot say enough about Clay and his staff at Billy Sims BBQ in West Bend. We had them cater our daughters wedding on Friday March 24 and the food and service was top notch. We received so many compliments from several guests about how much they loved the food. Multiple people said it was the BEST meal they have had at a wedding. The food was fantastic. Clay and one of his associates were on site, set it up and kept it stocked. The food was hot and prepared to perfection. I would also like to give an extra shout out to how great Clay was with our daughter and son in law. He was so personable, very kind and friendly and extremely knowledgeable about all of it. This place is amazing!!! The young guys working, super friendly, fast and helpful! This was are 1st time in and we will be back, soooooo good! Make sure you stop in, it was fresh and awesome flavors in the meats!!!! Cooked wonderful!!

Got the 3 meat combo with 2 sides picked beans and full single rib for meats i went with polish sausage ribs and sliced brisket with sweet bbq sauce the polish was mediocre brisket was a bit dry but the definite star were the ribs will come back for the ribs for sure, wont be an often thing as the food is a bit pricey was 44 and change for 2 people with both picking the 3 meat combo that said they do offer more affordable sandwiches and options

Billy Simms in West Bend is a common grab and go dinner on busy nights. The crew that works here is consistent which is hard to find. The same few guys are usually working in the evening and are always friendly and fast and my order is always correct. The food itself is one of my favorite fast options because the meat is freshly smoked, so tasty and we all have our own favorite sides.

Don't let the serious look on my face confuse you, I was all smiles inside when I was looking at this beautiful sandwich! I happened to be in West Bend right at lunch time and decided it was high time for me to stop in at Billy Sims BBQ. I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced the food was.

The Triple 20 Signature Sandwich, it's loaded with some tasty pulled pork drizzled with Billy’s Secret Sauce, and covered with coleslaw & provolone 🧀! YUM 😋 Warning once you pick this sandwich up, just plan on finishing it. So good you won't want to put it down. Make sure you grab a few napkins, I made it through only using two.
Added Billy Baked Beans and Mac N Cheese on the side and it was right on. Don't pass up the sides.

Like always save room for dessert or get one to go! I grabbed a Banana Wafer Stacker, took it to go but snuck a few bites so I could let you all know it is a great treat at the end of a delicious meal.

Updated review: I still head out to Billy Sims regularly when I need my BBQ fix. I love it. They have Chili back which you can add for an upgraded side. Also, they have added a new menu for lunch for $7 and under!!

I enjoyed my first experience at Billy Slims. I love BBQ and am happy to have a local option. I got brisket and pulled pork and loved both. Also tried all the sauces which were good. We will be coming back.

We had the pulled pork sandwiches, bbq beans and cole slaw. Overall a very good value. Store has $7 sandwich and drink combos, sandwich, side & drink $8.99. Sandwich was typical size but meaty. Pulled pork was tasty & tender, but a bit salty. Sides were above average size & quality. Staff was friendly.

Awesome food and service at the West Bend, Wisconsin. Husband and I had brisket and turkey. Loved the smokey bbq sauce. Meat was so tender and fell apart. We shared a stacker for dessert, yum!

It was a bit of a disappointing experience tonight at the restaurant. We ordered quite a lot of food (over $120) to go, and when we got home, which is 20 minutes away, part of our order was missing. When I called the restaurant, I said my rack of ribs was missing, and I didn't have a receipt to show because when I paid they said the paper in their machine was not working. They said they needed to check to see if I really paid for it. Fortunately, they were able to verify my order and that I paid for the missing item so I said I would drive back in town to pick it up as I was feeding a group.

When I arrived back at the store they were apologetic, the manager said to just blame them - that they distracted everyone.?? Then the staff started to prepare the rack of ribs. The manager told the cook to make sure you give them one with a lot of meat on it, you might have to go to the back?? Wouldn't all your racks of ribs that you charge so much for have lots of meat on them?

I also ordered some more sausage when I was there and I thought they would at least give me a discount on the meat (since I am now at $140 order) and since they had messed up on my order and I had to drive back into town - and then back home, but no discount.

When we got home all the meat tasted great, but the managers message did not get through to the staff because our ribs did not have much meat on them at all. The baked potatoes were not fully cooked (not great) and the stackers, which we have had before, were a big disappointment. They had the date 8/6 on them, which I did not see until we served them. So they were a week old, the Bananas were brown in Banana Stacker, and in the Cherry Stacker, the whip cream was hard. They were both just not good at all. We actually ended up throwing them away.

Just a mixed experience, bbq tasted good, everything else was disappointing.
