They made big renovated . It look very beautiful and love the style too. The service was very great, friendly, and quick.
I order the loaf delicious hamburger I ever ate in my life. Bacon Jam burger !!!! Ah man you must try this and if you want to eat different burger. So tender, juice and mind blowing taste ! It is pricy ($24) but totally worth it.

I very highly recommend.

They got tv to watch game. It not far from Kohls Arena ( about 3 minutes walk).

Head up: you can’t enter from side door. I thought that was odd. You must go in front of hotel enter.

The food was ok, what you would expect from a restaurant in a hotel. The service was friendly but extremely ineffective and unorganized.

This morning my husband and I woke op dreaming of going to a local brunch. Was this even possible to find in Madison Wi on a Saturday morning?. We searched online, made several calls, but had a difficult time I need to place it served a buffet. We wanted it all, eggs sausage toast, breakfast potato’s and french toast. We decided that we were going downtown looked it up and ended up at a restaurant where there was a two hour wait. Across the street, there was a Do Douuble Tree Hotel. I ended up having a brilliant idea! Why not ask the people at the front desk if they would allow me to pay for their bufet. Well, my surprise l, when I went to the front desk, Alexa’s smiling face was there to greet me. She told me she would love to have us, and that their buffet was in fact, opened up to the public. The food was delicious and hot! They also included Starbucks coffee. Ray even offered us a shot of seasonal star bucks syrup. We were served by Peyton and Matthew, several other staff members we had at least five people asking us if we needed help. This was an amazing experience and we will be back.

Not only did the place provide outstanding food, they went above and beyond for our daughters wedding dinner. We were a smaller party of 15, and stayed at the hotel, the morning was hectic of course so we ordered room service. Avocado toast was not on the menu, but they made it for us. As well as a smoothie from scratch. They were wonderful and friendly and everyone still talks about the food. My son hates green beans but loved these and had told me if I could make them like that he'd eat them all day. He's 30 years old too. I wish l could get the secret to these beans.
Do yourself a good thing and go there. The hotel the Bistro. Has my ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

An ok hotel bar and restaurant. Ordered a martini without asking for the price and was shocked to discover it was 24$. I have been to the best bars in the world and never paid so much for a dirty gin martini.

Just had the best lunch here! Even on a Badger GameDay, the staff was so attentive and friendly. Thank you to Tom, Naomi, Aaron, Patrick, and Kelsey!!! The bistro burger was amazing! Highly recommend that to everyone as well as the BLT wrap, and the cheese curds! Definitely would recommend this to anyone coming through Madison!!

I was looking forward to a return to Madison after 30 years or so since I last visited. We were more than pleasantly surprised/welcomed back with a bar stop here. Aaron, the bartender, is an excellent mixologist, but is as well an ambassador for Moody Tongue beers. Check these beers out! You’ll get a chuckle out of Aaron and the curds are top notch too.

Great service, and really liked the food. All was pretty good except for the reception staff laughing out loud for 45 min straight providing not the best atmosphere for the restaurant while having dinner.
Had breakfast as well, and the atmosphere was way better.

Way overpriced, food was flavorless. The plating was horrible. Looked like something a high schooler threw together. Couldn't find any fish in the fish tacos. The waitress forgot to write down one of our meals. It arrived 30 minutes late with no real appology. When I asked management about or missing meal he was rude and not particularly kind or helpful. Not worth another visit. There was also ice in the mimosas which was odd. When I ordered another mimosa she asked without ice? It seemed strange. Also when made the reservation they acted as though it would be hard to fit us in. When we arrived we were one of two tables. I was looking for a special place for mother's day and instead it was flavorless, overpriced and underwhelming.

Actually had some solid wings for being a hotel restaurant too!!

Pleasantly surprised! We were just in town one night for a college visit. Bristo 525 was close to our hotel. I have gluten, dairy, and soy allergies. They accommodated all three very well and with great flavor. I had the skirt steak with a double order of the seasonal veggies. Our service was great as well….Jacob was our waiter. We weren’t staying at the Doubletree, but very glad we tried it out!

From a dining party of three’s three visits: Love this restaurant’s cheese curds and bistro burgers, both of which easily beat a nearby competitor’s. (Okay, one from our group prefers the competitor’s curds, but not by much.) Great fish tacos as well. The blackened mahi mahi is also very good and filling, the latter of which is a pleasant surprise. Desserts are only cheesecake and carrot cake, which have yet to be tried. Next time. Service is consistently excellent. And, contrary to an earlier review, prices are in line with competing non-hotel restaurants.

It’s a hotel breakfast place. The food was just fine and prices were high as is usual with hotel breakfasts. If you have a choice I’d recommend a different breakfast restaurant, like the nearby Bassett Street Brunch Club.

I would love to give this place 5 stars. It’s a really nice, modern high-class restaurant. It has a certain elegance. The waiters and staff were very nice. It’s a new place with so much potential. However I have to be realistic. The food was good. That is all I can say. Cheese curds ($10) were better than average with a good sauce. Flatbread ($14) was also good. However the ($28) steak frites were overpriced and underwhelming. It was french fries with a few ounces of steak and a dipping sauce. Together it tasted fine. The french fries were excellent. But the steak was poorly seasoned, bland, and somewhat chewy. The sauce made up for it. But I was entirely disappointed because for $28 I can find almost anything better. The menu also seemed haphazard. So many random menus thrown on. It wants to be a nicer restaurant and the prices and atmosphere reflect that, but the food remains behind. It’s not bad, but just not worth the $70 I paid that night for two.

This downtown DoubleTree restaurant was remodeled completely and renamed (was the Badgerland Bar & Grill) and it's open to the public still, a hidden breakfast, lunch and dinner possibility with street or ramp parking (push the button and explain you're there for the Bistro). This morning we highly enjoyed our breakfasts - hot, delicious and served with cheer!

Great new restaurant located inside the DoubleTree hotel. Bryan was our server and his suggestions were spot on. We had the Flat bread, street tacos, pork sliders for appetizers and the short ribs and sea bass for entrees. The food was amazing and probably the best new restaurant in Madison.
