Heading home from picking our son up from the cities, having not seen him for WAY too long, we asked what he’d love for dinner, he replied “Shrimp!”! We brain stormed about places to stop and then we drove past Bistro 63.. STOP! We walked into the most charming little place, it smelled delicious!!!
We were seated right away and our adventure began.... delicious wine, focaccia bread with balsamic vinaigrette and olive oil. My sons shrimp was succulent with garlic butter and fresh cherry tomatoes perfectly seasoned., our flatbread with Kalamata olives,fresh basil and bacon, the best I’ve ever had and at the end ,with our check homemade dark cocoa covered hazelnut truffles...definitely going back 👍

We were there last night and got the kabobs, the meat was so tough that you couldn't even eat it, told our waitress, she told the chef and he said that happens with kabobs! Nothing was done, nothing offered. Beyond disappointed. If your going to charge $38.00 for kabobs and 42.00 for a ribeye, then I would expect that the meat is of higher quality. Not the case here. Nothing but tendons and grissel. Sad. Disappointed.

Oh man I tell you what this is a must visit restaurant drove by this place hundreds of times never even thought to stop and eat..oh was this a big mistake..some friends invited us out to dinner to my surprise this place was fabulous..big kudos to the chef the meals were fantastic couldn't be more pleased with food and the wait staff definitely a must visit and we will be visiting again soon!!😉👍

Don't head here after 8:30 on Saturday night. Listed closing as 10PM arrived before 8:45 Greeted by friendly waitress at the door that had to check with the hostess. Bar had FB game on and we had eaten there before. Sat in front of busy bartender after greeting asked if we had reservations. Only two other customers in bar informed she would have to check with hostess. After very short wait, headed for Rice Lake! Forgot to mention there were 3 or 4 empty and set tables in the dining room and most guests had their food. The snarky attitude of management was exhibited by the bartender who was unhappy to see us. By cars outside I was afraid they might have been winding up for the night. 40 years Bar and Restaurant experience make me uncomfortable with a one star review. They have great food! Just don't travel there long distances expecting a good late night experience, even on a Saturday Night.

The food was unique, tasted amazing and was reasonably priced. Our waitress was great and helped us order and was just a super awesome person in general. Cocktails were cheap and strong. The duck and pork chops are amazing! Some example of the unique food was a mushroom cream soup made from mushrooms picked by some of the employees and a sauce for the duck made from pomegranate and maple. Bistro 63 is a fantastic place!

Salad.....very good.
Even the truffle thing at the end was really good.
I had the prime rib, ordered medium rare.....and it was overcooked.....STILL VERY GOOD.
The server asked me to check it before I accepted it....and I noticed it but I didnt want it thrown away so I accepted it.

I felt the food was overpriced. Ordered Seafood Jambalaya and it was so disappointing, I hardly ate any of it. It was basically a bowl of rice with two scallops and a couple shrimp on top for 25$. Their pizza was probably the best fire roasted pizza I've had. The service was very slow, but it was busy. The people were really nice and the appearance was pleasing. Though at our bench, there was a screw tip sticking out of the area you sit on and my son poked his finger on it.

What’s there to say that hasn’t already been said? The menu is surprisingly diverse and the presentation of each plate is pleasantly unique! Even a simple Caesar salad is turned into something tasty and special! Staff was very friendly and it’s fun that it’s tucked away in the small town of Barronett. A hidden gem for all who stumble upon it! My wife and I will definitely be telling others about it.

We went to Bistro 63 for a wedding tasting and it was such a wonderful experience. Jeno goes above and beyond with preparation. Meat was cooked to perfection. He even made one of my mom's favorite recipes off-menu for us to try. The pesto with smoked tomatoes is so unique and I'm still thinking about it. I can't wait for Bistro 63 to cater for my wedding this summer, and would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who appreciates great tasting food and great service.

Our favorite up scale restaurant on the way up north. Sharon and her staff are always so friendly and accommodating. The tenderloin kabobs with the fried portabella mash potatoes are to die for. The Fri. night prime rib was perfectly done and 10oz was more than enough. French onion soup is delicious but we’re sad the Caesar salad is no longer available. We stopped here to eat some wood fired pizza on the deck but when we parked and came over there wasn't a place to sit which wad a shame because the wood fired pizza smelled great. This is a gourmet restaurant in a really small town. Geno is the head chef and owner and his mom, Sharon, runs the dining room. We dined here on our annual girls' weekend after reading reviews - had a wonderful experience. OMG! Bistro 63 is always our go-to---whether it be for a drink and sharing the shrimp taco appetizer (enough for a meal!) and sharing an avocado chicken salad, or trying something new for a change of pace.
We have also had the tenderloin kabobs served with a nom-nom encrusted portabello over mashed cheddar potatoes. I'd like that for my last meal on this earth!
My husband and I always eat at the bar and arrive around 4:45, and are usually one of the first patrons there. Our kids love it, too!
The staff is friendly and the service is fantastic. Sharon is a wonderful hostess, and her son's cooking cannot be beat! There is no more special venue in the area!
