Food above average. Service was good but slow.

There was one customer with a really loud voice talking nonstop about movies and other stuff she liked or disliked. Everyone appeared annoyed at her incessant talk but the restaurant staff appeared oblivious to the issue. This ruined the whole experience.

We were three southerners who happened to be in Brown Deer and looked last minute for a place to have dinner. Staff was welcoming, food was good. Just moved to town from Green Bay and struck gold at the first place we stopped. Excellent breakfast with a clean, upscale atmosphere. Service was a delight and the mood music was a plus as well.

Two weeks ago, my son asked me to get takeout from Bistro. I said okay and order our food over the phone. Well I thought I would try something new this time. I order the shrimp po boy and asked for it plain…no mayo because of allergies. When I received my sandwich it had mayo on it, so I sent it back by my son. They told me they couldn’t redo my food because the kitchen was down. My son was right next to me when I placed our order and he heard me ask for a plain sandwich. While waiting on his order the lady named Mary treated him like garbage because he brought back my meal. He then order me another sandwich(plain) and they made it after I was told by Mary that the kitchen was closed. Mary told me that she would have the owner call me on Tuesday and that never happened. Enough though their food is good…I will never go back thanks to Mary!!

Spectacular hidden gem with a great American menu, wonderful service, and an attention to detail that you just don't find in the big chain restaurants. The Beef Tournedos are absolutely fantastic, the fish fry is top-notch, and the Chicken Arrabbiata has become a favorite of ours. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot for families. Plus, the consistently friendly staff makes every visit enjoyable. As an added bonus, the live piano music adds a special touch to the dining experience.

2nd time there. Breakfast was very good. When we got there we were the only ones there. The service was great. Within 30 minutes, the restaurant became full. Service dropped off greatly. Perhaps they weren't expecting it and were caught short staffed.

The elderly woman who was the hostess told me they wouldn't serve my disabled mother who is in a wheelchair wouldn't even sit us at a table. I have been in disbelief of how rude and disrespectful she was. Never again!! Can't believe how poorly we were treated.

Amazing atmosphere! We were there for breakfast, and I have not felt this type of ambiance for breakfast in a very long time. Excellent pricing, the waitresses have fantastic energy, and the chef knows his way around the kitchen. The sound level was low enough to conduct an intimate business meeting. We will be back for lunch and dinner soon to experience first hand the live entertainment and food served during those times. If you are deciding on a place to go, this is the one!

Atmosphere was solid, a lady playing the piano was cool. The mix drinks they make very well, had a really good Old-fashioned. I ordered the French onion soup, it was very bland, I love French onion soup, and this was just meh at best. Regretted not getting a salad because that looked really good. Ordered the beef tournedos filet cooked perfectly, plating looked ok. However, the seasoning was unusual, was glazed in a sweet sauce. Not terrible, however not something I would ever order. Also, it came with three large onion rings and potato would’ve appreciated a vegetable instead of the onion rings. I would go back. I just would not order anything I ordered again.

Came at 1:30pm on a Friday afternoon, but wasn't crowded (5 tables seated). Told to seat ourselves, ordered coffee from host. He brought the coffee, but didn't even bring a spoon to stir with. Waited 15 mins while the servers were talking amongst themselves. Finally got up to leave before we were acknowledged, then when we said we'll pay for the coffee and find somewhere else, server was rude and insulting us as we left. Looks like a dump trying to be fancy. Didn't even get to try the food, but assuming it would be sub-par.

I recently had breakfast at Bistro on the Glen at 6823 N Green Bay Ave, in Glendale, WI. It was a very nice restaurant with a nice crowd..I sat at.the bar and was waited on timely. I ordered one pancake with blueberries and the order came back without much delay. The pancake was delicious and the coffee was refilled when needed. The music playing was appropriate and not loud. I watched some television during my meal.

Please be mindful when you're ordering from here. I looked at the menu online, tried to call to place an order, was hung up on twice, then I went to place an order in person and the prices are higher on their menus than whats online and then the price was even higher on my receipt. The only explanation I was given was, the person needs to update their site online and they believe it was extra for cheese. I said well I asked for light cheese and you still charged me a whole extra 1.00, all I got a shoulder shrug. I won't be back!!!

Softly played piano tunes and bistro decor made this a pleasant outing. Host was cheerful and initially attentive, but our drink order was unusual (chocolate malt, rather than alcohol) and didn't arrive before the meal (probably was never made), so we cancelled it. The waitress was friendly and attentive, no complaints there. Tenderloin was amazingly tender, garlic mashed potatoes were tasty, and the garnish of onion rings hit the spot. Ribeye steak was deliciously grilled, but had a lot of fat and grizzle, and therefore was understandably chewier than my husband's tenderloin. Baked potato was generously sized; sauteed mushrooms were a treat. Overall, we set out to have a nice steak dinner, and mission was accomplished.

I finally went to Bistro on the Glen, and it was really nice. Even though this place was quite busy, we were able to find a seat. Our waitress did the best she could given all the customers. I've had the chicken quesadilla & burger & fries in recent visits. All items were tasty and fresh. Was there with a friend who had a 1/2 egg salad sandwich and a cup of soup, I had the chicken quesadilla with a soda & a coffee. Our bill was $30.00!! IMO it was not worth that much! Also my soda had to be sent back 2x because there was something floating in it and my fork was dirty.

Very bland, not seasoned, underwhelming food. Have tried it 3 times now. Chicago dog toppings have no flavor, my chicken wrap tasted like dirty grill, and my breakfast sandwich was $10 for gluten free bread, cheese, bacon and egg. It’s also $6.75 instead of $5.75 like the menu claims. $1 just to have it to go. Workers are nice but definitely would not drive out of my way to come here. Overpriced for tiny portions too.
