We ate here 3 mornings in a row while we were visiting the Dells. The staff were very pleasant and the food was excellent. I especially enjoyed the French toast with blueberries. Yum!! I definitely would recommend eating breakfast here. Also, the bathroom was exceptionally clean. That’s usually a good indicator that the establishment really cares about the satisfaction of their customers.

We are here for a couple days visiting and stopped for breakfast. I don't write reviews often but this place deserved one. The restaurant is extremely clean...they were even washing down menus which I don't see very often. The staff was amazing!! The food was very good and the prices were very reasonable!! Our family of four are here on vacation and we came here based on all the strong reviews and ratings and we were not disappointed. We were seated immediately and our server was friendly and attentive and made sure we had what we needed throughout our meal. Our coffee and water was kept full throughout our time here are we were offered to go cups for our coffee and were brought fresh and full cups to go - a nice touch.
The food was fresh and hot and came out much faster than we thought it would. Hash browns cooked to perfection, everybody's eggs cooked perfectly, pancakes tasted amazing and biscuits and gravy were something to write home about (I make my own from scratch and they are in high demand but I have to admit - these were better 🤫).
After the meal, the Manager stopped over (always a good sign at a restaurant) and chatted for a bit - great friendly guy!
Thanks for a great breakfast and overall dining experience - will definitely come back next time we are in town.

I hate to leave a review because it may be busier when we go but I need to say that all your staff as well as your food is wonderful!! I’ve never been to a restaurant where each and every employee and owner really care that they are proving the best service (with a smile) and your food is made to your liking. We’ve become “locals” now that we bought a camper in the area and BJ’s is our place to go if I’m not making breakfast that morning. Overall it was just okay. The service was the best part, no complaints there. Parking was almost full, there was maybe three spaces available when we got there.
We did have to wait maybe two or three minutes to get seated, which is fine. Wait for the food was short, but the food itself could've been better. I asked for my eggs over medium, but the yolks were extremely runny, as if they were over easy.
My hash browns were overcooked on the outside and slightly undercooked in the middle. My biscuits and gravy were good, very flavorful, but maybe too salty. My food also wasn't terribly warm when I got it, which is slightly concerning considering the very short wait for our food after we ordered.

So overall, I'd say, if you're in the Dells for a few days and want to keep trying different places, then check this place out for breakfast. There's better places to go first, though.

The “scrambled “ eggs were scorched and inedible, the hash browns were simply waved over the grill, corned beef was dumped from the can and at least heated all the way through.

Fluffy, scratch-made, buttermilk pancakes topped with creamy butter and a side of sweet whipped cream brought smiles all around! The bacon and sausage are superb - not your typical restaraunt bacon! Crisp, flavorful, delicious. We also thoroughly enjoyed the eggs - and between the 9 of us tried them all different ways! The hash browns were perfectly cooked, as well - even the toast was fantastic!

The food isn't the only incredible thing about BJs - the team working there clearly live their jobs and do an excellent job! They are hospitable and keep glasses full and plates cleared - all with smiles and contagious joy! Casey, the manager, is absolutely fabulous and made our visit - and celebrating our son - a truly special and memorable experience!

Don't pass up BJs before a day at pne of the Dells many attractions!

Might be the best breakfast joint in town. It's a small cafe, just serves the breakfast basics, but everything was perfectly done. Kids polished their French toast, it's not often they join the clean plate club. Owner was out checking on tables, nice guy and made small talk with my kids. You can just tell this restaurant is a labor of love.

This is a fun little breakfast place. They don't have a lot of seating but we didn't have to wait for very long. Parking can be a little tight. Some people had to park on the street .

My husband and I shared a veggie omelette and a sweet roll. We ended up taking the roll to go because the omelet was so big then we were full .

One of the teenagers in our party got the strawberry pancakes with whipped cream. She said it was delicious. Overall, I would say that this is a good value for your money.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The owners are absolutely amazing, as well as the rest of the staff. The male owner came around and talked to everyone and was so incredibly personable and welcoming. The waitstaff were all very nice and attentive, fabulous service! We went in for my birthday and they all made a point to sing Happy Birthday to me as they brought me out a cinnamon roll with a candle in it. It is the most hometown feeling restaurant in a big city. I highly recommend this place and we will make a point to stop here everytime we are in the area.

A must if visiting the Dells! What a gem this place is! I'm typically not one to write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so for this place! I started taking my kids to The Dells from central Illinois when they were young. Luckily, I found this place on one of our first trips. 20 years or so later, they have yet to disappoint. I have learned that this is a family owned restaurant, with several generations in their family working and contributing. Not just sitting on the sidelines collecting a check, but cooking, cleaning, serving..all that. I feel like that is getting too rare to see hard working American families sticking together like that over generations and that is something to certainly be valued. Always clean, always friendly informative staff, and always delicious! Yesterday I had the biscuits and gravy. Today I had an omelet. Both were amazing and I rarely like anyone's biscuits and gravy..I took the pic after I had already dug in lol. Keep up the great work BJ's!

In the midst of the Wisconsin Dells chaos, water parks, gimmick restaurants and noise sits BJ's Restaurant. It literally is the definition of a neighborhood diner without any of the Dells gimmicks.

Great food but even better service. We were there for three nights and because the food and service was so good the first breakfast we went there three days in a row.

Service is amazing - thank you, Jodi! - where they are extremely attentive.

The food is excellent including the French toast I had. Very, very good.

This place is the ultimate go to for breakfast! Not only is their food delicious, their menu choices are so open for any taste preference. We love their kids menu and pricing. Entrée pricing is affordable for the family. The staff are absolute gems! The gal who waited on us, I believe she's the heart of the front of the house. Has the "mom" feel that makes you feel right at home. She even put up my Littles coloring page by their bar area, that was so kind and my Little thought the very same and expressed that.

Have driven by this place hundreds of times and never stopped in-until today. And I am glad I did. Small business restaurant, little small on the inside but not too cramped. They don’t have space for large families. They gave us 2 separates tables but still charge me as a big group, and we were only 4 person in my fam. they messed up in my order putting all together as a group when I specified that we were separated.Food was basic not to much in the menu .Too small plates for the price ,order the steak plate and the steak was a joke.It was have size of my hand, a little bigger than a sausage. And paid $17 for that plate . Definitely I won’t return.
