Food had nice flavor the Oreos tasted old, though the berrys were nice and fresh. The crepes had a different flavor (with cinnamon) witch I'm not used to, but still pretty good.
The portions were nice sized. The kids took off main menu not the kid menu.

Amazing place! The service was super friendly, fast, and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and very well cooked. The homemade soup was perfect. My young son oooh’d and aaaah’d over the pancake and grilled cheese sandwich. My husband’s eggs over medium were the first he has had at a restaurant that were cooked to perfection. Without a doubt one of the best meals we have had in at least a year when eating out. Highly recommend!

Everyone is very nice. The atmosphere is clean and cozy….however, the tables are sometimes a tad bit too close to others which makes it hard when the restaurant is full. They have the best breakfast around!!! I haven’t tried lunch or dinner but if it’s as good as the breakfast, I’ll definitely be back!!!

I decided to come out and explore a bit. I’m a brunch person so I was trying to find a place close by where I could have some eggs and sausage :) I found Blissful Bites & Brunch! It is just right across the street.
I ordered the traditional two eggs with sausage, hashbrowns and pancake.
The sausage links are great, the pancakes are fluffy and delicious. Oh and great prices too!
Overall a great place to have brunch! I come to Wausau often so I’ll be coming back.

Once in a while, I have an amazing meal, and I want to tell others! I had one here at Blissful Bites! I've been here many other times before, and it's always been very good, but today, I ordered a Prime Rib Wrap. It came with fries and Au Jus, and it was the right amount of salt and savory, came out wonderfully hot, and was full of mushrooms, onions, and deliciousness My wife is a big fan of the chilaquiles, and they certainly didn't disappoint! It was exactly 6:15 to 6:20pm yesterday. Me and my buddy came in. The atmosphere vibe felt wrong, let me explain. The females didn't want serve us because of our race so they had a I believe to be a Mexican to serve us. We asked him a question and laughed walking away. Came back asking us in Spanish what we would like to drink. I ordered in english and he said no no. Um I'll order fettuccine Alfredo this... No no no. Luckily brother spoke Spanish back but the waiter still laughed. No one came asking what was wrong or bothered even though it wasn't very busy. I get your an American restaurant at least let someone who speaks English come serve us.

Seasoning is afraid of this place. We ordered two burgers, the chorizo omelet, and birria quesadilla. Everything was just bland and tasted like nothing. Plus with the birria they served parsley not cilantro and our waitress never came around until the end to tell her otherwise. By then we were starving and just trying to get some food in our bodies. We also had the mimosa flight and honestly if it had just been iced, it would’ve been enjoyed so much better.

Incredible food! The quickest turnaround service I’ve had in the greater Wausau area. The friendly (hard working) service and atmosphere made it evermore relaxing. Clean joint. Crepes on point. Sampler was tasty and filling. Milkshake was 5 out 5. Menu is unique and supreme - many choices. Will return and will recommend to family and co-workers. Prices were average. Didn’t expect it to be so delicious. Highly recommended. Only thing is they need a light for their sign outside. As a high end lead cook that’s worked in kitchens throughout the US I’d put some of their menu items up against the pricer establishments. Just a fair observation.

A friend suggested brunch at a new restaurant and I was amazed with our experience. From the hostess who seated us to checking out, the experience was exceptional. The menu has a little bit for everyone. One of the owners delivered our food to our table and came back twice to check in. I saw him greet several other tables as well. Your coffee and water will never run low. The establishment is trendy and very clean. The staff were smiley and worked well together. The team effort was something to see! Great experience here! I had some of the best country fried steak I’ve ever had (if you see my reviews, I’ve had a lot). The eggs were cooked perfectly, and their homemade toast is delicious (but I wish they buttered it better). The hash browns were unremarkable. At first I thought serving a salad with breakfast was weird, but then I found it refreshing and enjoyed it (nice touch). The entire service staff (server, bussers, etc) were extremely friendly and attentive. I can’t wait to come back and I’m definitely bringing friends. Highly recommend. (The cfs looked so good, I started eating before remembering to take a photo.)

This is a cute place, perfect for brunch for small parties or even big parties.

The quality is really consistent here. We are never disappointed in the food and the service is great too. My coffee is always hot & topped off. I've had breakfast here twice, and it was very good. I would recommend the meat lover's bowl, pancakes, and bloody mary. One visit the waitresses provided good service and the other time the gentleman made us feel like he was ignoring us. It was hard to get refills and the check from him even though the place was not busy. We decided to finally give this place a try. We had family from out of town and we were excited, we went on a Sunday morning (party of 9) and the place has such a cozy vibe, loved the decor! & the menu did have a large variety. We were greeted right away and lucky I was able to check us in online so we only waited a few minutes while they gathered a table big enough. Disappointed right after that, we needed a high chair but they only have a few & at that time there wasn't one available to us, but lucky for us our server took so long to come to our table, and get our orders taken that by the time our food arrived the other employees were kind enough to bring one to our table, the server had gotten a few things wrong, we were missing a side of pancakes and the server accused us of having received toast but that toast was my fathers in law that came with his plate, so once he figured it out we waited almost the entire meal for the pancake. The sever seemed annoyed after this he kind of avoided our table and when we needed sauces, we actually had to ask politely to the girls in the front by the drink & pies area and they also gave us an annoyed look. After that we kind of all (my father parents in law & my parents) felt very weird. I also ordered a grilled chicken sandwich which the chicken was still cold and tasted like the chicken they keep frozen and just microwave. It wasn't grilled at all. I had also asked for fries for the side but ended up with a cup of fruit which the server tried to tell us I had ordered when in fact, I never order fruit so I also had to wait till I was half way done with my sandwich when the fries came out. Not sure we'll be visiting again. We were really hoping to like this place.

Stopped in earlier this afternoon for lunch, we were seated right away in a booth. We checked out the menu for a bit as it was our first time here. We ordered our drinks after waiting approximately 5 minutes, 1 soda and 1 blackberry lotus (we added the kiwi flavored boba balls) we asked for a few minutes yet to look over the menu. The menu set up seemed similar to Era Pancakes & Cafe. We both decided to do lunch as it was noon. I ordered the Truffle Chicken Sandwich with fries & a side of ranch, my boyfriend order the Prime Rib Melt with no onions, fries and ranch. We decided to order a side salad to share. We waited about 10-15 minutes for food, no complaints there. Our salad had at least a pound of chopped tomatoes, not a fan of that, the lettuce wasn’t fresh, it was turning brown. But whatever. That wasn’t a big deal. We finished picking at the salad and then sat and talked while we waited for our sandwiches. There were 2 guys sitting behind us in a booth and that’s where the experience started going downhill. The older man (probably in his 60’s) was talking FILTHY. Waiters and waitresses were walking around listening to this guy talk and no one said a word. He was talking filthy about his niece whom told him she was gay, men getting their you know what’s cut off, women getting male parts sewed on etc. every other word coming out of his mouth was the F word. Just disgusting. Families were sitting close by with small kids, thankfully my child was not with us for this experience. We then got our sandwiches. My boyfriends sandwich was made wrong. We ordered no onion and got onions. The waiter took it back to have it remade. We didn’t get our ranch so I asked for that right away. We didn’t have napkins either so I asked for some. Instead of bringing the ranch back right away, he waited for the new sandwich to be done to bring the ranch and napkins. Kinda sucked waiting. My chicken sandwich was AWFUL. The chicken was SO fatty and didn’t even taste like chicken. So I took the chicken off and ate some of the bun. My boyfriend said his prime rib sandwich was juicy and pretty good. (If you don’t like fatty meat, then I don’t recommend the prime rib sandwich as prime rib is usually a little fatty) the French fries were decent and the ranch was good. The waiter didn’t come back to check on us at all, which was unfortunate. Back to the guy behind us, I completely lost my appetite and pushed my plate away after the gross chicken and the way this guy was talking. I finally had enough. I stood up from our booth, looked over and said “I am going to ask you nicely to please stop talking so disgusting, and dropping the F bomb every other word” he said “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, I forgot where I was” I said thank you and sat back down. Definitely not like me to stand up and say something, I can usually ignore it. But this was SO bad. I’ve left a lot of what he was saying out of this review, otherwise there is no way it would be posted! So I guess use your imagination. But someone had to say something to him. And really? You forgot you were in a family restaurant? Ok.. The waiter stopped at the table and said “here is your bill,” and walked away. Never asked how everything was. I went up to pay, the cashier asked me how our food was, I told him “ehh it was ok” he said “good” I paid and we left. Honestly I don’t think we will ever be back. Maybe their breakfast is better than lunch but I’m not sure I want to go back after today. We will stick with Era Pancakes & Cafe. Been there so many times and have yet to have any issues with breakfast, lunch or drinks.
2 stars for food because my boyfriends sandwich was decent.
2 stars for service because the food came out quick.
1 star for atmosphere because of the guy behind us and no worker had the nerve to confront him (even though one of the waiters stood 3 feet away from his booth and stared at him for a good 45 seconds) Overall, disappointing.

Honestly I can’t imagine better service…they were attentive and checking in consistently…everyone was happy and it was a great place for brunch and lunch on New Year’s Day!

Got the country fried steak that came with choice of egg, hash down or house potatoes, and pancakes or toast. For $13 it was a big meal got 2 full size pancakes and my steak was a really good size too. I had 3 plates for everything! Not to busy but loud because all the noise just kind of echos otherwise great atmosphere and service

Really a top notch restaurant. The food was fantastic and presentation of the food was great as well. The only downside was there being so much I couldn’t eat it all. Looking forward to coming back!
