Took 1 hour for 2 phos and 2 thai boats. Disappointed with how long we waited. They also forgot our pork belly in the pho. Pho shouldn't take that long to make in my opinion. Just some constructive criticism. Hopefully its better the next time we go...

I've stopped twice now for lunch at the newly-opened Blossom Cafe. They've been in business for years as caterers, but have recently expanded to a dine-in/carryout format along with a bar and a small event hall. At the moment, they're open for lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays so check their hours before you go. I recall that the lunch menu is a scaled back version of their dinner menu, the former offering appetizers and 2-3 different main dishes.

The dining room is fairly typical for Asian takeout. Its appearance is not opulent but it's neat and clean and the service is as fast and friendly as anyone could want.

But the real reason you're going is for the food. I like what they do with their recipes. My impression so far is that their dishes are like the old classics but with a twist. For example, the beef bulgogi bowl had a slightly sweeter and less smoky sauce than the Korean bulgogi I'm used to. It also contained raw baby cucumber slices and pickled daikon radish chunks, among other things. It sounds a bit unusual, but it all worked very well together.

Finally, if you're a spice lover and can take some heat without sniveling, you have to get yourself an order of their Fire Wings. This appetizer consists of several deep-fried wings and drumsticks served with Asian chili peppers, scallions, and finely-sliced onions all coated with some kind of spice mix. The flavor of the chilis predominates but there's a vinegar or lime undertone that just makes it all work. Don't take my word for it, just try 'em!

I'm looking forward to going back soon.

Stopped in for lunch a few days ago. Owner was very friendly and accommodating. Had the stir fry which was good but the fire wings were awesome. If you like spicy try them. Overall would definitely recommend this place.

My new favorite spot!

I’m new to the area and was looking for a place to grab a late night bite and get out of the house, and Passion did not disappoint. My bartender, Johnny, was great! He did an amazing job of letting me know what to expect with different items on the menu. I enjoyed watching/listening to other patrons do karaoke, and got to try their turkey tails (they are DELICIOUS and just the right amount of spicy 🤤). They’ve definitely found a regular in me!

Have not tried the food here, but the bar is nice. They have karaoke nights. More of an older crowd and laid back style. Met with the owner Johnny. Super nice guy. Gave us free drinks on the house.

Always good & fresh. Love their turkey tail and chicken feet. Service is fast, but there is a wait when it does get busy usually around Friday's. Mon-thur isn't so busy so I recommend weekdays. My favorite place so far!

Fun place to go for small plates and a nightlife experience. A mix of Southeast Asian style and your modern American dance bar. Sometimes, alternative Hmong bands will perform. Other types of music played are Lao and Thai style salavan, Hmong Ballads, Hmong/Laotian/Thai pop rock, Hip Hop from the 2000s, and 80s new wave.
