I LOVE this place. I am a huge fan of hole-in-the-wall/dive bars and this place was top notch. The bartender was excellent and the place just had a good feel to it. I will definitely be back. We had just eaten dinner so we didn’t try the food but I will next time.

Super cool lil haunt to stop at in Door County. The bartenders were a lot of fun. The people there were great company. A bunch of games - pinball, pool, etc.

Food: had a burger just so I wouldn’t die from getting too drunk. It was actually pretty good though. Great bar food.

Service: stellar. Funny as hell and super attentive and personable. You hope to have bartenders like this wait on your drunk self.

Atmosphere: spooky and cool. They crushed the Halloween decorations. Outside of that,I can tell this place had a super cool antique, old-timey, and cozy feel.

Definitely will be back for another shotski. Thanks for being awesome.

A very unique building inside and out including a number of antiques. Stools at a table are horse saddles. Bartender was great and friendly...Theresa. She shared her experiences with us of the resident ghost. We did not eat there but drinks were good.

The atmosphere was vintage and unique. The food was ok. I had the oxburger. The only complaint was that my burger was a bit too red for my liking as blood was dripping. As well as the burger could use some basic seasoning. It was a bit plain. Overall it is a unique place to stop and grab a drink.

Amazing atmosphere but horrible food. They charge you over $10 for a fried fish sandwich with lays chips. Only go for drinks. Skip the food at all cost. The chicken soup was cold.

It's a cool bar, but I got a story to tell;

My uncle and I are playing some pool with some of the locals after midnight and a bartender walks by the table and smacks a ball. My uncle is understandably frustrated and asks him what that was about, but the bartender gets in my 70-YEAR-OLD uncle's face trying to size him up.

A message to that employee: I get it, you want to go home. However, this was the WORST way to go about asking customers to leave. Simply tell us that you are closing and that this will be the last game - We understand that you need to sleep and go home. You had to have your coworkers and regulars restrain you because you were getting so drunk behind the bar and couldn't control yourself in the situation. I actually find it incredibly pathetic that you tried fighting a 70 year old man. Get a grip.

A message to the owner: Your employees are getting absurdly drunk behind the bar after midnight, but you probably knew that already. If I see that same bartender again, I'm not spending my money here and neither will the rest of my family.

Went with the intention of drinking and partying. Left after 10mins or less. The first drinks served were 95% soda, ice, and/or water. There was nearly no alcohol and were ridiculously expensive considering there was no alcohol. The bartenders were not friendly. The other Patrons were obnoxiously rude and tried to start a "fight" because we were the second bachelorette party to enter the bar. The atmosphere just screamed, "dirty dive bar with no redeeming qualities." The decor was overcrowded and made me feel grungy and claustrophobic. Absolutely will never visit again. In fact, this interaction/visit was so discouraging that we went back to the hotel and canceled the rest of our night out. What a waste!

never (40 years here) experienced this type of "locals" negativity before in a Door Co Bar. we weren't wearing anything (such as a Bears jersey) that could identify us as out of towners. We walked in, stood by Bar in half empty restaurant (at noon on a Sunday) & were ignored by the staff for 5 minutes. not even a "high folks, Il be right with you". went to lunch spot to the north (Cornerstone Pub) for great food & friendly staff.

We called the day before to see if they were open for the early morning Packers game to which they told us they would be open. However when we arrived that morning the staff behind the bar rudely told us they were no longer open due to “being up too late the night before.” We found this to be very unprofessional and had wished they would have just told us they would not be open so we could have found a bar that was open.

Service and food were just ok. The fish sandwich was the best thing that we had at our table. We had a Philly and an Ox Burger as well. The server/bartender was good. Nothing to write home about on food and service though.
Beer was enjoyable. However, what saves this place from a 2 star review was the atmosphere. The atmosphere was super cool. It was like an antique shop and saloon all mixed into one. Recommend trying for the experience but don't set your hopes crazy high.
