Excellent place, it was our first time here. Our group was very pleased. Started out being treated very nicely at the bar. Nice conversation with the locals. Couple items on the menu were unavailable but more then enough options. The salad bar was exceptional other then the post being a small inconvenience. We got there early so the only ding was that the soups were a little cold. Maybe needed to warm them up a little more before bringing them out to the warmers. Fresh bread, ice cream for dessert and the steaks were done as ordered. Would certainly consider stopping again. Huge thanks to the staff and owenership.

This was my first time there, recently a widow and I have gone out to eat at many establishments alone. Very disappointed in the service as they served a table of seven guests before me. I was at the salad bar when they ordered. The salad bar was great. My waitress finally served my dinner, the prime rib was dry, mostly because it was medium well not medium rare as I ordered. I couldn’t send it back because I never saw my waitress until she brought my bill. Everyone around me was offered complimentary ice cream, evidently I was not. I’m not sure if I would give them another chance, I definitely prefer Rene’s Super club by far. The bartender was awesome. Please talk with you staff, as I usually tip over 30% for good service. The service was not even par.

My husband and I come frequently for the AUCE crab, which has been phenomenal up until our last visit this past Saturday. Once we got our table and were seated we waited well over 15 minutes for our server to approach with just bread, assuming she would bring us waters. We ended up having to get our own highchair as we had our 8 month old with us. Our food was brought out where we then had to ask for waters, as they were never given to us after receiving our bread. It felt as though it was there first time doing the AUCE crab, when we received our first plate my husband and I both had little to no butter having to ask for extra right out the gate, we also never received our crab forks which, when asked for, our server had no idea what they were. It took another 15 minutes before our 2nd plate of crab came out which were cold in spots. We very much enjoy the AUCE on Saturdays but this past visit was really just awful.

we were forced to sit in the bar for 45 minutes for no reason. we got there when they opened so there was no line or wait list. we don't drink and my 85 year old father does not like sitting in bars. people continued to come in and were seated immediately. Salad bar was stuck in a corner with a post in the middle of it so it was very hard to get there and hard to dish out anything once there. food was ok but we won't be returning. don't recommend unless you are a drinker.

Decided to try a new spot for a fish fry while we were traveling. We’d heard good things about this place, but honestly, it didn’t live up to the hype. First off, it’s a cash-only bar—no cards accepted. It’s 2025; they need to get with the times.

The bar service was great, and the old fashioneds were tasty, but the menus were a mess. Prices were crossed out and scribbled over, and there were stickers warning that more than one trip to the salad bar would cost an extra $5. It felt so tacky—just print new menus already.

As for the food, it was a big letdown. I ordered the all-you-can-eat pollock, but it had bones in it and tasted overly fishy—not in a good way. The perch, which they’re supposedly famous for, but it was dry like a cracker and completely flavorless. Neither of us could even finish the first two pieces of fish.

Sure, it was the cheapest meal we’ve had in a while, but maybe that explains the quality. The service was nice, but the food was so bad we definitely won’t be back.

I chose this place for a “Birthday” dinner. It had some good reviews and was nominated for “Best of the Best”. Unfortunately that was not our experience. To begin with our waitress was not very friendly - almost flippant. It was like she was upset that she had to wait on us.
We noticed the other waitresses were very nice interacting with their customers. Tables had bread baskets and were offered freshly ground pepper for their salads but not our table.
As we were looking at the menu we noticed that you are only allowed one trip to the salad bar. If you go back you are charged $5.00. They even go as far as to give you one small salad plate. Seriously?? So if you make yourself a “lettuce salad” but want to try any of the prepared salads or spreads it has to all be piled on one plate. Not very appetizing. We did ask for a second plate for the prepared salads which the waitress did give us but you could tell that she was upset - it was like she was doing us a favor.
We ordered the porterhouse steaks for dinner. Again the waitress seemed surprised by our order and looked at us oddly. Maybe because it was Friday and everyone orders the all-you-can-eat walleye. Apparently ordering a steak on a Friday night in WI is a faux pas. Then we went to the salad bar. We just sat down to eat our salads and the waitress brought out our dinners. So we rushed to eat our salad while our steaks were getting cold. I will say that the steaks were good but the over all experience and service was a huge disappointment.

Ok I have been coming here with friends for a few years. I invited new friends because we always had great food. I was greatly disappointed and kinda embarrassed that the food was bad. I ordered a shrimp cocktail which I know as a glass or bowl filled with salsa, avocado and shrimp. I got a small bowl with 7 plain shrimp with a side of bland cocktail sauce. My friend's hamburger was way over cooked and dry. My other friend's chicken sandwich had no lettuce or tomato on a dollar store bun. Overall it was our first bad experience but we do love the food in the past. We will go there again. Hopefully it will be good!

The ribs are as they describe, fall off the bone! I'm picky about my ribs and these were very delicious. The misses had a steak and it was also very delicious and cooked exactly how she asked. The salad bar is the reason we ended up there. One of the only places that still have one after COVID. The owner is a hoot and we really enjoyed our trip there. Given our table number then sat at the bar for a bit to get drinks, was then rushed by Tammy to get to our table and she said she would give it away if we didn’t sit down. Then me and another person in my party had ordered jumbo stuffed shrimp, they got our order wrong. Tammy told us we said deep fried shrimp but multiple people at our table remember us saying Jumbo Stuffed Shrimp (which is how it’s labeled on the menu). Super friendly staff, food was very good. I got the crab legs and my husband got the porterhouse steak. Only complaint was you get one trip to the salad bar and soup station. I really enjoyed the soup and would have liked a second bowl. I also don't like when my food touches so all I could get was the salad and none of the cottage cheese or anything else. They seemed to have a lot of good specials on their menu as well from all you can eat crab legs on Saturdays to their fish fry. Overall I really enjoyed this place.

First time here. I drive past it every summer about 200 times and say I need to stop there. I wish I would have stopped sooner. Great food, great service and the bar staff was great. I already want to go back. Very friendly atmosphere. It would be a 5 star rating if the great food wasn't served on cold plates. Great tasting, but all food was lukewarm at best. The prime rib started congealing 2 minutes after being served. The twice baked potatoes with cheese on top had to be cut to eat the cheese, not stirred if it had been warmer. Overall a great place, they just need to heat the sizzle plates the meat is served on.

Old fashions are average, no muddling. Staff are very friendly. Very local feel, everybody knows each other. and patrons friendly as well. No credit cards, but has an ATM. The steak (ribeye) was great. juicy and flavorful. Warm rolls with dinner. A fresh but small salad bar (bigger on weekends) and delicious soup (hamburger noodle). End of meal comes with a scoop of ice cream. I missed the warm bacon dressing on the salad bar as it was out of sight near the plug.

This place was highly recommended so my family did Easter dinner here on a Saturday night. Some drove over 2 hours to come here and it was barely average.

Cons: The meat all seemed cool to luke warm. Prime rib doesn’t taste good cool. Nothing was hot. We had to send our cooked shrimp on skewers back because they were fridge cold. The meat was also undercooked. We asked for well done steaks for some women and children and they were so pink, blood was still pouring out. The service was just okay. The wait staff never refilled our water, asked how our food was, or even brought ketchup for all the kids who had fries, burgers, and hot dogs. Be aware, they don’t accept credit or debit cards. They do have an atm you can pull cash out, with a $2.00 fee of course. We were a party of 16 and I don’t think they can handle large groups. The food came out in chunks of time that by the time some got their food, others were done. In fact, the kids meals were the last severed, chicken tenders and french fries. The kids food came out at least 20 minutes after the adults. The prices online are different than the menu at the supper club as well. This place is too costly ($10 for a hotdog and fries). Better off ordering an adult meal for the kids meal prices.

Pros: The salad bar had a lot of options for salads, including a few for side salads. All very fresh. The chicken was perfectly cooked and had an amazing taste. The crust was well coated. The coconut shrimp was perfect!! So crispy and flavorful!! The homemade bread was delicious! Nice and warm and crispy.

Great food, terrible service, great salad bar, but we literally wait 30-45 mins to be seated every time we go just tonight we went there 1/2 dining room was empty most people had their food and we had been there for over 30 mins still not seated. Worst place for service idk how anyone keeps going there. Ive gone for the great food, but sadly now this is the last straw. My wife and I both worked as wait staff before and we've never seen more slower, incompetent, unaware to their job duties and what a waiter is. Now mind you I'm a person with extremely high patience when it comes to wait staff. I no there's a learning curve I even tip good when it's undeserving. We are a family of 5 usually have $60-80 bill every time we went. I'll be happy to spend that elsewhere from now on. Now if you have 3 hours to kill this is a great place for you. But I will never again give them my business.

WAS THERE OCT 20 CAUSE THE LAST TIME THERE HAD BAD SERVICE CALLED OWNER.SHE WAS VERY NICE AND SENT ME A GIFT CARD FOR THE POOR SERVICES,THIS VISIT WAS WORST THIS TIME CAUSE I WAS SEATED IN THE DINNING ROOM THE WAITRESS GAVE ME A BUN AND NEVER CAME BACK.PEOPLE THAT ORDER AFTER ME GOT THERE FOOD.AFTER SITTING THERE FOR 45 MINUTE I GOT UP AND LEFT I HAVE A GIFT CARD FOR THERE THAT I WON'T USE CAUSE OF POOR SERVICE AND I WON'T GIVE TO A FRIEND FOR FEAR OF THE SAME TREATMENT,I MUST SAY THE BARTENDER WAS VERY GOOD,CAN,T JUDGE WAITING STAFF NEVER CAME BACK TO THE TABLE.

Fish fry was good, old fashioned was good. Never had Broaster potatoes before but they were better than I could have imagined. Do not recommend getting the potato salad, it was more like potatoes in a soup of mayo and mustard; it tasted fine, but it shouldn't be dripping off of your fork.
The nice touch was the scoop of vanilla and orange sherbet after the meal.
