Went in for prime rib on their 51st wedding anniversary Grabbed chairs from the bar because they were padded to put at their high top table because of their legs and got told by THE OWNER they “can’t do that”. The waitress tried to apologize for him but it didn’t work. If they go again they are bringing seat cushions.Shitty guy

Great environment and fantastic food - been here numerous times including Sat for the Crew-Cubs playoff game...Friday Night Fish Fry, Sat PM Prime, appetizers are great, never had a bad meal...staff is helpful, they get the food/drinks out quickly, LOTS of TVs, not a bad seat in the joint for watching sports! It's also so great to see a restaurant where the owner is present and engages with customers, comes by the table to check to make sure everything is good etc...highly recommend Bobby's Bar!

First & last time I ever go to this horrible restaurant. Just very poor service at 1:15pm and I specifically asked for medium rare she said no problem and what I got is a well done piece of garbage. Should have went to McDonalds. And their “ asparagus soup” was god awful!

Honestly a little frustrated. I went to Bobby's several months back and had a very long brownish blonde hair in my food. The waitress came by because she saw it and apologized because she saw me pulling it from my plate.There was no time to order another dish because I was on my lunch and had no time nor did the waitress offer and I paid for this. Today I called thought I'd give it another chance. Today two girls in our office and myself wanted to order from Bobby's I called and placed the order I think it may have been the bartender that answered she sounded very rude and very rushed. She asked if this would be three tickets and I said yes and she said I needed to call back at 1:00!! It was 11:45 and we needed our lunches during our lunch hour. Very nice people but the Reuben rolls and my mashed potatoes were served cold. A lot of the food was cold. The only thing that wasn’t cold was my steak that I ordered medium but got well done and literally completely charred to ash on the outside. Really have no reason to go back.

I went here recently for the first time, I was excited to check it out since I drive by it often. As soon as I walked in the server made a beeline for me and told me in an incredibly agressive manner that the hydroflask of water that I brought in was not allowed?? I calmly told her it was water and she said I could not "prove" that, it's not allowed and it's a "violation". LOL what? I bring my water with me literally everywhere and I've never had such an experience. It would have been different if she told me calmly that outside drinks are not allowed or if there had been a sign on the door. It was the super agressive manner in which she approached me and spoke to me that was so incredbily off-putting. I emailed the bar about this experience and never got a response so they don't care! I shared this story with friends who said they had previously been there, were ignored for 20 minutes and then left! Do not plan on returning.

We’ve been here several times and the food is consistently excellent — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It’s one of the reasons I keep coming back.

During my recent visit, our server was truly outstanding. Despite the restaurant being incredibly busy, she remained attentive, kind, and professional. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience, even when it was clear she was stretched thin and receiving very little support from the rest of the staff.

Unfortunately, my experience at the bar was quite different. When I approached to order a drink, the bartender ignored me completely — no acknowledgment, no eye contact — even though I stood waiting for a while. I understand how overwhelming a busy night can be, which is why I even offered to help clear some glasses or lighten the load, but the lack of professionalism and courtesy from the bar was disappointing.

It’s clear that some staff, like our server, are giving 110%, and I truly appreciate their hard work. I hope management takes note of the staffing imbalance and communication issues, especially behind the bar, to better support the front-of-house team and ensure all guests receive the great service that the restaurant’s food and loyal staff deserve.

Ordered 4 chicken dinners for takeout. I did not know that the chicken dinner is only chicken and a piece of cornbread. Tried calling to see if they forgot fries, cole slaw etc. No one answered. Went back and was told that the chicken dinner is only chicken and cornbread. Fries, coleslaw, etc are a 3.00 additional charge each. When someone orders a chicken dinner, they should be asked if they want fries, coleslaw, a side. A chicken dinner is supposed to come with sides, and we were disappointed to only have chicken.
The chicken itself was disappointing. Three dinners had four pieces. One dinner had three. Cornbread was OK. Overall, we were underwhelmed.

In the last 5 months, my husband and I have gone to Bobby's at least 6 times for just food, along with stopping in with my nephew for his first, midnight, 21st birthday shot and maybe 2 more times for 1 - 2 drinks each. The food was really good, so we wanted to give it a few shots to hopwfullt like the place.

6/7 times the staff has been really rude, snotty, or just came off as not wanting to have us in their bar.
Keep in mind, we keep to ourselves, aren't rude to food/service workers, and are not stingy at all with tips or dinner bills on the occasion that we go out.

The 2 male bartenders we have encountered have been noticeably rude to my husband, where we felt uncomfortable and unwanted there. 4 out of 5 servers have been equally as pleasant as the unfriendly bar tenders.
I don't know if this is a "cool kids" only bar, but it really sucks to have a place repeatedly make you feel as though you are bothering them by eating there.
My husband and I went here earlier this week. As we walked in, he said, "I don't know why we stopped going here - The food's really good." 5 minutes later, we instantly remembered why we stopped eating here.

I would maybe recommend Uber eats because, again, the food IS good. Otherwise, it's a dice roll with how the waitstaff will treat you.

I’ve never been to this place, but I absolutely LOVE the reviews below. Totally classic and hysterical! My favorite is definitely the worm in the food bit, lol. Obviously the customer pissed off the wrong person at the restaurant. This way better than just spitting in someone’s food…the dead worm bit is super stealth and sends a message!

Just kidding. I’m sure it wasn’t intentional. Regardless, still..these are really good reviews- both the good and the bad ones. Seems like a stellar place where anyone could find some great entertainment (whether being there in person or just catching up on the stories on google reviews.)

The best ribs I ever had. It must have been a bad night last Friday. The burger, ribs, broasted chicken were sooooo good. Bobby thank you for bringing us back for an incredible meal. We will certainly be back!
Three of us ordered the baked cod with lemon and dill sauce. We got one small piece which was cold and not a hint of dill. It was a paste like gravy on top and certainly was not a lemon sauce. My husband ordered the fried cod which was chewy.. It appeared our meals were under a heat lamp for too long. Server was unfriendly and impatient besides never asked us how our food was and didn’t clear all our plates. Tried calling several times to speak to a manager but nobody answers the phone. This was our second time and first time was good. Restaurants really need to work on consistency to bring back customers.

Reuben meat was cold in the middle, likely because it was cut into cubes before being microwaved. If it would have been cut a little thinner then it would probably have reheated better for serving. Au jus was flavorless, seemed like it was taken from a larger stock that was not stirred before the portion was removed to be microwaved for serving. Bread from sandwiches had black sticky residue from the grill. It was quite busy so it's not super surprising, but being more diligent about managing the grill top will help prevent this going forward. The parking lot is unfortunate, angled parking with nowhere to turn around. The lawn behind the parking lot looked muddy and torn up, likely because it was the only way for people to turn around to leave.

Having driven by Bobby's numerous times I finally was able to stop and check it out. Welcomed by a large open seating area with welcoming staff. Drinks and meal was delivered shortly after ordering while most of the tables were filled. Very pleased with specialty burger, the Big Amigo, and looking forward to coming back for a fish fry. Highly recommend and comparable to downtown restaurants in MKE but cheaper!
