I love to go here with my dad, and whenever we are in Oshkosh we go here because we have good memories at this place. However when my dad went today, he forgot to lock his car and remembered when he was in the doorway. So he grabbed his keys from his pocket and locked the door. Then the manager yelled at him for opening the door for thirty seconds, when all he meant to do was lock his car. Look, I love this place, but yelling at someone like that for something so small is pathetic. Especially when the employees are more kind, and understanding, when the manager is supposed to be somewhat of a role model. Disappointing.

I only stopped in for the chili dogs. They were excellent. I'm sure their drinks are great too. If you need bread bags for your feet this winter, they have a pile of them 3 feet tall. Great view of the railroad tracks. Parking is limited, so get there early.

I can get a lunch here for under $10! Two chili dogs - using an approximately 100yr-old chili recipe - a candy bar, and a soda. It's a cozy and quaint little dive that non-locals should definitely check out - if only for the chili dogs.

I haven't ordered any alcohol from here - due to reasons involving driving - but I've seen some decent liquor and beer ready for serving.

Great place for lunch or dinner, great dogs & cold beer. A real down-home feel in one of Oshkosh's oldest taverns. Had lunch yesterday with a friend, we each had a three dog {with the works} order and then split and order of three. Simply the best hot dogs... I can't resist when I'm in the area. Have been going since the 60's.

Have been going since I was a kid and the service has gone hill so bad that I am not coming back anymore. We got chili hot dog that is nothing like what I had as a kid and come pretty often and have never been let down until last weekend when the hot dogs were cold, there was barely any chili and maybe 5 pieces of onion on the whole hot dog when we asked for the works which has always been amazing until now. I just got my husband a couple months ago to try them for the first time and with the first bite fell in love with them but even he made the comment about how bad they were before I said anything and had my mom and grandma try them that have been going for much longer then both of us and said they were horrible. We have never been bothered by the prices or service really but when we asked about it they could of cared less and had a huge attitude problem that was the owners daughter and made she to say she was and that she knew what she was doing and was told to not come back if we did not like the new way there making them.

Ok Bobs will never be in the Zagats Fine Dining Guide, but what the hell; this place has the very best novelty hot dog sandwich anywhere! Everyone who knows this Oshkosh delicacy orders it with the typical and standard condiments - chili, mustard and onions. Julie has been working there forever and rocks! I stopped in here late tonight after visiting Oshkosh for business and it was awesome! The hot dogs were delicious and affordable and the service was great, very friendly bartender. I'm honestly not the "dive bar" type nor am I a local but this place wasn't intimidating at all, just warm welcoming service at great prices. I'll be back!
