Bland. My husband and I split the donut smash burger and the nachos smash burger, part of their limited time menu. We were so excited to try a new establishment and burgers we've never had anywhere before. Neither burger tasted like you would imagine them to taste like with names like that. I ordered a dirty soda, specifically the one pictured on the menu and got a cup with dragon fruit syrup on the bottom amd plain soda water on top. No cream or starry mist soda or whatever is supposed to be in it.

The actual quality of beef was excellent you can taste the freshness and we really like the openness of the restaurant. Otherwise, we do not plan to go to another boulders again. But everyone has different likes and expectations, so people should go try it and make their own conclusions. I don't write this to stop people from going, just my opinion.

My wife and I went on a lunch date and here's what he had...

Brisket burger w/ fries - This was the special they had, the burger was made exactly how I asked and the sauce and other toppings were fantastic, loved it.

Fried Pickles Chips- Normal appetizer but my wife said it was fantastic.

Castle Danger Cream Ale- A must have drink anywhere you go, was cold, refreshing and to the point.

Kiwi Crush- A fruity mixed drink, my wife really enjoyed it.

Street Corn Bowl W/ Grilled shrimp - Exactly how it sounds, pretty large portion and tasted phenomenal!

Came to celebrate a family member’s birthday. Food was just ok but the service was terrible! Had to get up and get our own to go boxes and basically beg the waiter for anything we needed including to order and our bill! Some people were just getting up and leaving! I had arranged with Jen at Boulder Taphouse to have my husband’s surprise birthday party in the back room. It was a great room that accommodated our 40+ guests. All of the attendees ordered off the menu and loved their food!! We had Paige as our personal waitress and we were all amazed at her efficiency, knowledge of the menu and how personable she is (she even helped decorate). 1/9/25 my son and I came for lunch on a Thursday, this was my second time at this location, it wasn't busy, service was awesome, burgers were great. He got the curd burger with bacon with a strawberry shake and I had the cream cheese olive burger.

I ordered the pickle chips. I should have brought someone with me to share with.
Large basket, and I knew I couldn't I wouldn't be able to finish what I really wanted. The Garlic Aioli Burger. So tragic. Next time for sure.

Ive been here many times but tonights date night was absolutely phenomenal. From the bartender to the server to the cooks absolutely amazing. Cheese curds were gooey, the burgers (one well done and one rare) were both perfect and even the boneless wings were perfectly flaky and deliciously saucy. The server was absolutely wonderful as well always there when needed and the bartender made the drinks absolutely perfect. Not a single complaint from us tonight! If you want a delicious hamburger in Superior, this is the place! My favorite is the Boulder Sourdough Burger. The Brown Sugar Cheddar Burger is also divine. The restaurant is always clean and service is top-notch. Also love their side salad, they use real lettuce, not that inedible iceberg junk. The music was on too loud today, made conversation hard but that's also the vibe here. Big bar, loud music and bangin' burgers. They need to install auto-open doors for wheelchair access and the tables are a little too close to accommodate a wheelchair, but we made it work.

I have been here twice, first time, I was blown away with how amazing the food was. I think it was because the place was empty. Second time, everything was very underwhelming. I would rather wait an additional 5 minutes and my food be perfect, over it being rushed out to me because the place is packed. Boulders is an amazing place and I want the food to live up to it! The menu has a pretty good variety of food. Nothing for us picky eaters or “normal” eaters. Everything has some sort of something funky. Seems like all most everything has some sort of beer batter or flavoring.
Even the French fries are beer battered.
They had a few meals with mashed potatoes and a meat, but with stout gravy, made with a beer, not any normal gravy.

Now, I know maybe I could order a burger plain. But, I didn’t want a burger. So, there’s nothing for me to order.

Thought I was safe with ordering cheese curds. However, these are not cheese curds. These are cubes of cheese. Very different.

My pop even came see through and tasted like water. Had no syrup in it. Had to ask for a new glass of pop, in order to have the waitress notice she had to change the bag of syrup.

Pretentious pricing for the food here...!!

Avocado fries are like putting an piece of Avocado on a fish stick - Because that was the flavor!!! NEVER USE THE SAME DEEP FRYER/OIL AS THE FISH FOR ANYTHING ELSE !!!!

The truffle chip fries were elusive,,,,,, the only truffle flavor was the oil - AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BOWL ! The jam they used overpowered the name - TRUFFLE !!!

The giant Bloody Mary...... Super bland - Definitely use a tastier mix !!!! The tacos attached would've been better not dry as a dog biscuit.... TOOK OVER 30 MIN FOR MY BLOODY MARY TO COME - AFTER EVERYONES FOOD ALREADY ARRIVED...!!!!

The burgers are dry & that combo of pork to beef patty was a fail fail fail - 86 that immediately.....

Our group of 6 was seated immediately at around 5:30 on a Friday evening. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everyone enjoyed their food. The prices were decent and the servings were generous. I had the clam chowder and was blown away! I have had clam chowder at dozens of restaurants and my Dad, a chef, made a great one...but this was by far, hands down the best I have ever tasted. I would highly recommend and will definitely go back for more. The only thing I didn't like was the volume of the background music, it could be turned down a few decibels.

We went here for our anniversary. We wanted to try something new and we are not disappointed at all. We found our new favorite place. My wife had the strawberry salad and I got some wings and fries, everything was amazing. The service was stellar and quick. The atmosphere was amazing, we sat on the patio and it was perfect. As we walked through the restaurant there was music but you could still have a conversation and not have to yell over the music. Thanks for an amazing experience we have been telling everyone to go there and we are already planning our next outing. Oh and if you like a good Bloody Mary you will not be disappointed.

Don't let the name fool you, there is nothing Asian about this dish. It was awesome! Dipping sauce is really good too.
Got the Brown Sugar & Smoked Cheddar Burger & Cajun fries. Burger was excellent! Fries were ok but better in the egg roll sauce.

Amazing food (especially the May burger of the month), Bloody Mary’s /margaritas , and the ambiance. The younger staff are super nice, but it doesn’t excuse some of them for leaving every round of drinks sit on the bar for 10 minutes (blended drinks) while they huddle at a table to talk and on a different occasion try to press water on you after one tap beer with dinner.

If you like greasy, processed food made by people who clearly couldn’t care less about what’s being put on your plate, this place is for you! Our experience here was a roller coaster. My first gripe is the lack of care that went into the menu. They might as well just call themselves Applebees II. Wife and I ordered a few apps that came out with a puddle of oil underneath the plates. The wings and burgers were cooked perfectly , but the quality of the food was bland and boring. Our waitress was kind and professional , but the food took longer than expected for a restaurant that wasn’t very full- not her fault, but confusing none the less. The atmosphere was a bit awkward, there was a group of staff just sitting around at the back of the bar looking lost. When I asked the waitress what that was about, she expressed to me that their manager decided to put on 9 servers for the night, leaving each of them with 2-4 tables a piece. Then she mentioned how they also keep hiring people, so she’s only getting to work once or twice a week at most and is really hurting. Sounds like poor management if you ask me, maybe the owner of the restaurant should take a peek at who’s in charge around there so the young wait staff doesn’t start to struggle. We were seated by the side of the bar, and we were able to hear one of the managers, the short round one with grey hair and her nose up in the air, make unnecessary and rude remarks to a couple of the younger female staff members. Watched one of them walk off with tears in her eyes. Not only should they make sure that if they’re going to treat their employees like garbage that maybe they shouldn’t do it in front of customers. Nothing worse than someone put in charge of a restaurant who clearly doesn’t know how to run the place, or have human decency for that matter. Must be a very miserable person. What a shame. Honestly would have been willing to give this place another shot if it wasn’t for the employee neglect we got to witness. Scary to think what could go on behind closed doors, especially from the wench having a power trip. Do better.

Party of 6 on a busy Friday night. Our server Tam was great. Apps (cheese curds and corn ribs) and drinks were delish and entrees were good. The manager Carey stopped by and checked on us and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Staff is fantastic

It's definitely a certain type of people vibe here. Love the music they play. Food is phenomenal. The 1st time we went we sat for 7 minutes before we were brought water or knew our waitress. She apologized said she had a big order and was attentive following that. The 2nd time was great. The cauliflower wings are sooo good. I got the avocado grilled chicken burger with sweet potato fries. Everything was perfect. Their fruity pebble shake is amazing.

Waitress Brook was very nice, accepted and forwarded our disappointments to person in charge which we were reimbursed for. We ordered the truffle oil spiral cut potatoes and they did not have any ingredients mentioned in description on them. Were just deep fried potatoes. Ordered the chicken avocado sliders, what a dissatisfying experience that was. Cold rubbery chicken. Could not taste the sauce. The black bean chili was very good. May try again but not sure.

0/10. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Everything wrong just completely stacked up. Fried pickles were all stuck together with raw batter between the pickles, and seemed to be barely drained of the oil. I asked our waitress for a new one. We waited for a new one, but our food ended up coming out. I asked the waitress about the pickles and told her I no longer wanted them because my children were just going to eat their dinner at that point. Despite saying so, the pickles still came out and I still had to pay for them even though no one ate them. I got the hot honey chicken sandwich and asked for no hot honey on the chicken and the horseradish topping to be on the side. Mine came out with the hot honey sauce on the chicken, the bun not toasted, the greens on it were discolored, and it was so dry I had to take the top bun off because I could barely chew it. Two of my children got the cheese burger kids meal. Both burgers had the meat cut completely in half to I assume check for doneness, but made my children’s cheeseburgers completely dry and then with cold fries. My other child had the children’s chicken strip and the chicken strips were burnt. To my COMPLETE SURPRISE the manager who came to the table told me “yea I’m sorry they SOMETIMES come out like that”! WHAT! My children are humans too and do not deserve burnt food. I asked about the “fresh fruit” that was going to come with the chicken strip kids meal, and the waitress told me it was a Dole fruit cup with the peaches and cherries. It was definitely not fresh fruit nor was it the one with peaches and cherries. It was a tropical one with pineapple, which my son cannot even eat pineapple. To top it all off, my one child was eating her cheeseburger and a medium length brownish-blonde straight hair gets pulled from the food she was chewing in her mouth. We immediately stopped and I asked for our bill to leave. When the manager came over to tell me that sometimes the chicken strips do come out burnt, she brought us two 10$ gift certificates that expire in one month. I did tell her to give them to my sister, who was eating with us, because I would absolutely not be back. Very little food was actually eaten. No one offered to fix anything or comp anything for burnt food that was not touched or hair. I absolutely want my money, I was unable to stand my ground for not paying for garbage food and I should have taken my kids and left but my husband is on military orders and it’s hard enough dining out with three small children.

I want to also add that they no longer are going a military discount for their service families bill, like Texas Roadhouse does a 10% off on their entire tab. They have changed it to just the service members entree and drink. Which is totally fine, this isn’t a complaint just want others to know.

We really loved Grizzlys and were hoping the new place would be as good. Even though they don’t have my favorite appetizer, the rest of the menu makes up for it. The service was good, considering how busy it became and the food was excellent. We’ll be back!

Was in a large party and got served what was supposed to be jerk tacos. The meat was in oddly large 1inch cubes too big to eat comfortably, and the meat was a temperature such that it seemed like it was left out in the cold for 40 mins. I just spent the time trying to gag down 1 cold taco of the 3 praying to be offered a do-over.

My wife and I ate here for the first time. We came in around 3pm and it was pretty busy already! We had to wait about 5 minutes before we were sat at a table. Then, we waited a good 10 minutes before anyone came to our table. Which sucked but the food made up for that wait! We ordered the Cauliflower Wings appetizer. Which was surprisingly tasty! It was cooked beautifully, crunchy batter and delicious sauce! I ordered the Brown Sugar Cheddar Burger medium rare. That's was incredible and there aren't many places around that you can order a burger cooked the way you want it! I never thought a cinnamon and brown sugar burger would be so good! My wife got the Chicken Avocado Sandwich with sweet potato fries and she loved it! Other than having to wait for service, the food is absolutely amazing! We can't wait to go back and you should definitely go yourself! Best food in Superior!

Once seated we wait 10 min just to see our waitress. She spent 90 % of her time in the back of the house rather then checking it with customers. Never even asked for water. We order our food as soon as we saw our waitress. The waitress an hour for 2 burger baskets. And once they arrived they were both over cooked and my wife's was just totally bland. They need better management and cooking practices. I don't recommend any burgers.

Atmosphere I felt was a little off. Not bad but just not quite right. Maybe I'm just missing the establishment that used to sit at this location. The playlist seems to be on a bit of a short loop but at least it was good music for my taste. Little loud acoustically like all too many modern places these days. The food was really good though. The service even better I'd say. Prices fairly on par for what you'd expect for a place like this. Location pretty easy to get to although non-locals might not realize the access is more on the "frontage road" along Tower.
