Good experience at a New Orleans style place. Two of us had the New Orleans bowl and one had the Philly steak. We also had the meatball soup, chicken chowder and hush puppies. All were pretty good! Our waitress was attentive and the atmosphere was clean and chillax.

After hiking I got to go to this restaurant today. This is called Bourbon Street Pub & Grill in Sheboygan on the way home from Point Beach and I thought the food here was really good and would love to back again in the future.

I’ve been to the real New Orleans back in high school and I really love the food there and when I found this place I got excited and had to try it.

Great jambalaya and Cajun garout, pronounced garu. Double bubble from 3 to 7, old fashions were very good also. Waitress was very informative, being that it was our first time there. Delicious creole/cajun food! After living in the area for years, my husband I finally tried Bourbon St. The hurricane drink ran a little too sweet for my taste, but the food was spot on. My wife and I had been here multiple times and really liked some of their dishes. However the most recent visit made us not wanting to go back anymore. They weren't too busy that day. Rude server lady who seemed to have an attitude to show after we told her that the large group in the back room was way too loud and liberal for us or anyone to sit down and enjoy a meal and we would like to take a seat in the main lobby. She left us unattended and said she will not be with us for at least ten minutes. About five minutes later we decided to leave because she was busy wondering around without actually doing anything and couldn't even bring a glass of water.

Food has always been great but entitled server could ruin the experience easily.

The interior is really cozy and updated. Our server, Erin, was so great. The food is really, really, really good. We live in the burbs of Milwaukee so this is a 45 min drive. I'm jealous that everyone gets to have this as their neighborhood bar. Specials every day, a long happy hour (rare), and the menu is really cool. There are so many good things to try on the menu that are completely different than other bars/restaurants. Can't wait to come back-- our plan is to try the whole menu. Food was great. I have never had that bad of service in my life. I get theyvare understaffed, and our server was working their butt off. But, an hour and a half to get food? Over an hour to get water? Something needs to change in their management that this kinda thing happens. And this was a graduation reservation. Reservation. Sooo...A couple months ago my husband and I stopped in on a Sunday and a Packer Game was on. Bottom line we sat at the bar. We had food, drinks, and fun!

Today, based on the experience we had last time and it being a Packer playoff game we decided we would go to Bourbon Street. The game was at 7:15 pm. We arrived at 5:30 and sat down at the bar. We waited 15 minutes without so much as a Hi, we will be right with you. Both bartenders proceeded to help people around us. Keep in mind there were only about 5 -7 people seated at the bar. My husband had money sitting on the bar. As we are waiting people walk up to the right and left of us. The bartender closest to us proceeds to help them as we are still sitting there with no acknowledgement. After waiting we got up and left. So disappointing especially after the fun we had a couple months prior.

Clearly, they don't care about these reviews because this seems to be a pattern based on other reviews. :(

This was our first time going here. When we first got there, it wasn't busy, and things were going well. The lady took our order, got our appetizers, and then she got busy, and it went from great to WT...
Our server disappeared and did not fill up water. When the meal came out, my husband's did because he had the fish. The cook messed mine up and had to redo, so now we are eating separately. Then I finally got mine, and the server forgot to put my corn bread order in.
I can't blame the cook on any of this. It was so the server. The sad thing about this all is that our server did not own this. She had another server working with us until the check. Really, that's sad. Maybe she was inexperienced, I'm not sure, but the food is pretty good, and it's because of her that we will not go back.
Well, like what people say, people can make a company great or bring it down...

I'd like to start by acknowledging they had help wanted signs, so I'm sure it could be better with more help, but with our experience, we won't be going back. There were only 2 other tables of people, one with 2 people, the other with 3 and 4 people at the bar. There were empty tables with food and spilled drinks just sitting there. The dirty tables were there when we arrived and started to be cleaned when we walked out an hour and a half later. The pretzels and beer cheese could have been good, but it was overheated, making the cheese chunky and the ingredients separated, not worth $8. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers, both mediums, that came very well done. $14 for just one burger, no sides. All in all, a letdown.

For me, one of my top 5 which doesn't have a particular order. One of the few restaurants that has flavor in their food. Too many restaurants in this area geared towards the Midwest pallette. I am very happy that bourbon street is not one of them. They frequently have specials to try out new dishes on various holidays which have been great as well. Their soups are fantastic as well. The bar staff is warm and friendly. You were doing yourself a disservice if you don't eat at this bar if you want something other than bland food.

We love Bourbon Street and will frequent on Friday nights. Service is quick, you can eat at the bar or wait for a table. My favorite has always been the gumbo, it's authentic and has just the right amount of spice for a kick. The Po'Boy catfish sandwich, Bayou Crawfish, Étouffée and Gumbo-Laya are also family favorites. Don't forget about drinking a Hurricane, it won't disappoint!

Ordered the Bayou Crawfish & Shrimp Etouffee'. 1st dish done well, spices buried nicely, not too heavy, good portion size. Don’t know why it’s taken us so long to discover this wonderful bit of New Orleans right here in Sheboygan! We’ve spent a great deal of time in New Orleans and have tried other Wisconsin restaurants that serve Cajun food but this is the best by far. Unpretentious food that is fresh, fast, and not overspiced or overpriced. The soups taste homemade and even the corn bread was a winner. Lovely surroundings with a very clean and comfortable dining room and bar. Our server Amanda was a delight and did everything she could to make sure we had a perfect meal. Bourbon Street will definitely be a place we return to again and again!
